A Sonic and the Black Knight version of Stellar—Lady Archfedd, daughter of King Arthur!
Some lore:
Came to be when King Arthur and Sir Lancelot unknowingly laid together upon a fairy mound, resulting in the fey gifting (or perhaps cursing) the King with a changeling child. Despite Lancelot's protests, Arthur accepted the infant as his heir.
Lancelot is half fey himself in this AU, and thus has a wide knowledge of fey culture and behavior (the fairies in this AU look a lot like Black Arms aliens from canon).
Despite his initial reservations, Lancelot does eventually grow to see Archfedd as his daughter.
Due to Arthur and Lancelot's relationship being secret, in public Archfedd is simply known as the King's daughter.
Archfedd learns of her fey heritage in her teens.
A skilled swordswoman, her fighting style is like that of a dancer, slashing out with twin blades.
Her swords are dubbed Efeilliaid Eira—the Snow Twins. Said to almost shine blue in the midst of combat.
Being of fey heritage, her armor had to be specially crafted as to not harm her. Pure, precious metals such as gold, silver, and cold iron all burn her skin.
Despite being trained in combat by each of the knights of the round table, it is rare she actually gets to fight alongside them.

[2023] TOP 20 PODCASTS ON AO3 FOUND IN FANDOMS > OTHER MEDIA
To make this ranking, all series titles in Other Media were copy-pasted to Google Sheets, rearranged according to number of fanworks, and then manually filtered since not all podcasts were marked as such.
The numbers under each rank indicate how much they rose/fell in the rankings based on last year's (Oct. 24, 2023) rankings, which can be found here. The gray numbers in parenthesis indicate how much fanworks it gained since last year.
The data for this year and last year's rankings were taken while logged in, so lcoked fanworks are included in the count.
A few web series like Critical Role and Dimensions 20 released audio-only versions of their works too, but I left them out since they were listed was a web series on ao3 and more known as one too.
Cabin Pressure has also been left off the list this time since its podcast format was only released in 2019, years after it aired on the radio.
All nonfiction podcasts have also been excluded (Not that there were many), because with RPFs, it’s hard to tell if the fic in question is just based on the podcast or because of the things the person has done outside of it. Last year, I accidentally included The Misfits in the list since I didn't realize from its description that it was nonfiction.
The Two Princes (Podcast) ranks 21st in the rankings this year, and actually ranked 20th last year when the rankings are adjusted to exclude Cabin Pressure and The Misfits.
The College Tapes is actually a spinoff of The Bright Sessions.
Thanks for understanding and hopefully I didn’t mess up anywhere! 🙏

[2024] TOP 20 PODCASTS ON AO3 FOUND IN FANDOMS > OTHER MEDIA
To make this ranking, all series titles in Other Media were copy-pasted to Google Sheets, rearranged according to number of fanworks, and then manually filtered since not all podcasts were marked as such.
The numbers under each rank indicate how much they rose/fell in the rankings based on last year's (Nov. 24, 2023) rankings, which can be found here. NEW means it's their first time entering in the top 20.
All nonfiction podcasts have also been excluded (Not that there were many), because with RPFs, it’s hard to tell if the fic in question is just based on the podcast or because of the things the person has done outside of it.
Stella Firma ranks 21st in the rankings this year, dropping 5 places from last year. (Figured they deserve a special mention since The Magnus Protocol is technically under The Magnus Archives).
Still keeping A. Walker, et. al. as is for the f@tt fans.😂❤
Thanks for understanding and hopefully I didn’t mess up anywhere! 🙏
ETA: Typo at Rank 15! Campaign dropped 1 rank, not 3. Sorry about that!

Typography Tuesday
The Ludlow Typograph is the overlooked younger cousin of the Monotype and Linotype type casting systems. Letterpress printers Steven and Meryl Chayt set out to demonstrate that the Ludlow is perfectly suitable to the production of fine press publications with their 1986 Anachronic Editions book A Ludlow Anthology printed in Winter Haven, Florida in an edition of 100 signed by the Chayts.
Here we show some presentations of Ludlow Ornaments and modern Ludlow typefaces from the book. The typefaces Stellar and Stygian Black were designed in 1929 by American designer and art director for The Ladies' Home Journal William E. Fink. Ultra Modern was designed in 1928 by Ludlow Typogragh typography director Douglas C. McMurtrie.
Our copy of A Ludlow Anthology is part of a gift from the estate of our dear friend Dennis Bayuzick.

Introducing Black Arms Stellar! The general idea is:
"What if she was a super soldier just like her dad?"
And then my mind immediately snapped to the Black Arms Stellar sub-AU and it's... Quite interesting.
It started off with the original way Shadow and Rouge discovered her, but they weren't able to find her test tube in time during their search. Some black arms aliens intercepted after discovering an alternate dimension where she exists, and so thought it'd be a good idea to utilize this tiny CHILD and mold her into a black arms soldier, just like they did with Sonic/Aeron.
They took her, while still in a test tube, through a portal to the AU, and both Rouge and Shadow followed after them. But upon discovering their counterparts, they required discuises to hide out while still trying to search for the secret government project the aliens just stole.
And in that time... Stellar's old physical DNA is majorly overwritten, she's handed over to Sonic to monitor and watch over, and the two form a father daughter bond of sorts while remaining in allegiance to the hivemind.
And... That was what was stated in the community. But I've actually been considering this to be a plot point in the mini saga of putting her into the AU.
Where the general idea is that slowly, Stellar's appearance would shift to more alien features over time since the majority of the usual chaos energy needing to keep her powers stable and purified had been... Depleted and scarce, with all of it being replaced by dark magic that belongs to the hivemind. And over time... She'd establish a connection to the hivemind whilst gaining new small features here and there, but in turn this makes her extremely vulnerable to assimilation.
But tthat's about it so far... Also here's a bonus art piece I didn't finish until after post for this comic (aftermath):

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is NOT Game of the Year. In the Year that gave us Space Marines 2, Astrobot, Black Myth: Wukong, Stellar Blade, Pal World and Helldivers 2, Dragon Age: The Veilguard pales in comparison to those.
Even a biased Bioware fan like myself can see that.
