So I thought it would be cool to write poems about Valoris because I love them so much and it’s not a usual thing… actually I haven’t seen anyone do this and I hope I’m not gonna get any hate for doing so and that some of you will even like it😅

This first one is quite sad but I kinda like it ._.

(The whole idea is Boris saying all this about Valery after his death)

If only I could feel your touch

If only I could taste you like the first time again

That they took away that very afternoon

I just can’t get over this scene.. I mean look how badly Valery wanted to take Boris hand. His hand already carefully went into his direction but then courage left him. Look how both hands have to hold onto one another to prevent them from trying again 😩♥️

Boris doesn’t know how to answer. He looks up from the pin in his hand. God knows he had asked himself that very question many times before but never came up with an satisfying answer.

“Do you regret it?” He asks almost silent.

Valery opens his eyes but doesn’t look at his friend.

“No” he answers after a moment of silence and puts the bottle of vodka on the ground next to Boris feet.

“Without Chernobyl we would have never met.”

I never saw Valery as a person who would hang up trophies around his home. But I imagine when depression hit him he was searching for answers. What of him would be left in this world when radiation had taken his life?
