Alright lots of things from the late 70s and early 80s were scary. I was no match for David Bowie in the Labyrinth, Ghostbusters Stay Puff Marshmallow Man or the animated possessed 'Winnie the Pooh.'

Wonder if they brought this up in 'Blood & Honey?' I'd have to if I were helping out the writers. Come on, I can't be the only one to see Winnie's head not twist along with the rest of his body.

Oho. I love the original film. Let's see, I had to brush off my knowledge here. ;D Thank you friend!

Venkman opens a portal which takes the Ghostbusters team to Stargate Atlantis. He was just messing around you know, seeing what the streams could actually do. He didn't actually CROSS the streams Egon, so shut up, but he MAY have run them through the city's main power generator just to see how much juice those babies could bring. Turns out---a lot.

Egon naturally jumps right into trying to figure out a way home and because his personality is so focused on time/space/engineering details, he's not offended by Rodney McKay in the least and just sees him as a resource to help him with Atlantean technology. Rodney----after numerous gibes seem to go pinging off of whatever emotional forcefield Egon has going on---decides he likes being very needed and is then doubly insufferable to everyone else. John Shepperd and Peter Venkman discover they can roll their eyes nearly simultaneously.

Ernie is just thrilled to see such an amazing new place and it's a nice break from dealing with Slimer as well as Venkman. He and Doctor Beckett get along famously as the 'normal' ones in each of their respective teams, and Ernie sees this as the vacation he never got to take to the Bahamas---ocean views, cool plant life in the botany lab, and some great sun.

Venkman flirts with anything female on the station and is universally shot down. Undeterred, he makes it his personal mission to try everything weird and alien in the cafeteria while Egon figures things out. C'mon, Egon always figures things out. He'd just be in the way if he had to come and try to help and fine, fine, he's coming, geez, how hard is a little time/space jump.

Ray, having had a negative experience recently with the StayPuff Marshmallow Man, is quite happy to just do as he's told. In this case, Weir figures out that Sheppard [very bored because he's on medical leave from the last mission] is keen to know all about 1980s New York so she ensures that the two of them get to have plenty of time to discuss this and allow Ray to try and recreate various foods and items in their labs. Mostly harmless right? [It turns out the TV dinner from hell was not a good idea and numerous station personnel still have nightmares about the Philly steak creatures.]

She's huffing as she lumbers after her new sweetheart.

Okay finally awake/brain awake enough to talk ab Tuesday

So mom and I went to see Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. The last time she was at the movies was when we saw frozen lol so like 10 years ago (😩) anyway she was really excited 🥺 We ofc got snacks and thankfully I get 20% off snacks bc that shit is so stupidly pricey and we just had: 1 large popcorn, 1 large pop, 1 large icee = $20.

We were in the reeeeally big theater and I was like oh well let's sit in row J which is like 2 rows from the back... we were walking up these stairs for what felt like forEVER sgdgdggdgd I forgot how big that theater is 😭

Anyway the movie was really good, super funny I loved Trevor's character and Phoebe was adorable. (Cast was uh... very white like there's like 3 nonwhite characters in the general cast.) Lots of flashing lights, which is kinda to be expected for Ghostbusters.

The StayPuff Marshmallow Men were so fucking funny I almost started crying laughing at the one part 😭

Story was interesting, funny cast (again could be.. better), the climax really couldve been better imo but it was good still. Anyway super fun time! I'm glad we went

Oh! And in the trailers they announced that every Monday in May is gonna be one of the spiderman movies like the first from each series so I can finally see TASM in theaters like I saw TASM2!!!!!!!! :D like a decade later....

Idk if I'm gonna see the marvel ones, but I do wanna see the Tobey McGuire one and ofc the andrew Garfield one

I'll just move hair washing day or deal sgdgdggd bc spiderman!!!

Also we went to cracker barrel after and I found the beanie baby Zip and I wanted to cry bc shes so perfect. I've been looking for a black cat with white paws plushie since our cat died and although zip has white on her tail, she looks enough like her that its perfect 🥺

We also found solar eclipse glasses!!!! I thought I was gonna have to dig up my old ones from 2017 and hope I found em or rush ship an amazon order (bc I've been having executive disfunction and delayed it...) but we got em!!

All in all it was a really great day :")

Crush - When did your f/o realize their feelings for you? How did they deal with those feelings?

Egon realized his feelings for Codi around the time the EPA bigwig showed up and fucked everything up. Codi had punched the man for ruining their whole operation, and boy did that impress the hell outta Dr. Spengler.

He kinda had to deal with those feelings later due to, ya know, getting thrown in jail and having to deal with Gozer & a giant Mr. Staypuff. They both ended up confessing to one another after the whole shebang :3

Love Letters - Are they good at expressing how they feel? What's their best way of letting you know they love you?

Egon isn't really good with expressing his feelings all too much, it's hard for him to say how he's feeling sometimes. However, the best way he shows affection is by doing small services (helping out with the dishes/an experiment/maintenance with the packs or Ecto-1,fetching something), and sharing his stash of treats.
