Dans un jardin public, deux statues, un homme et une femme, se font face sans pouvoir se toucher. Un jour une fée leur murmure: - Vous avez été exemplaires pendant toutes ces années, je vais vous faire un cadeau. Je vais vous donner la vie pour quelques heures. Aussitôt, les deux statues s'animent, s'approchent l'une de l'autre, et se ruent dans un buisson. Celui-ci s'agite, les branches craquent, et des rires et cris de font entendre. Au bout de 30 minutes, les deux statues en sortent avec un grand sourire chacune. La fée leur dit: - Il vous reste encore du temps. Profitez-en. La statue féminine se tourne alors vers son partenaire et lui dit: - D'accord, mais cette fois-ci, c'est toi qui tiens le pigeon au sol et moi qui chie dessus!

S'eclectus-orca. Cette statue se trouve dans le jardin du château de Jehay, lieu touristique dans la province de Liège en Belgique. Et il y à plusieurs statues de femmes équivalentes. Par contre pour le nom.

Vogoel les Mouettes: Jardin des Huitrerie

Another sunday, another build in Vogoel: The big park!

Not the festival park, more a place to see and be seen sort of park.

Think Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, but this is Vogoel, so jardin des Huitreries it is (Tuileries/Huitreries...It's a very French thing. Also sort of a dad joke, but hé!)

So I have a whole stock of statues from @martassimsbookcc I got for Pikassos Island (thanks!), and I indulged in some of my favorite build... FOUNTAIIIIN!!!

She is damm pretty, if I say so myself.

As befitting a French park (when we want to show Nature who's boss, dammit!), there is a children play area... and a nice "gazon" wich, I'm sorry, you're not supposed to walk on.

Yes, I am old enough to have known the Gardien de Square... and the shrill whistle when you dared to put a toe on grass.

It relaxed since, with the gardiens going into retirement, which is nice, I gess... except the Gazon looks like shit (and sometimes is, thanks doggies owners)... so yeah, picnic at your own risk!

There is a kioks to get some shaved ice... and theorically rent boats to play on the fountain with.

Theorically.

And buy balloon. Also theorically.

Practically, we have a chess table and a Terrain de Boules, because let's be serious, this is France!

And the park café, who as the speciality of...

TUILES!! (yes, I know, I couldn't resist)

And because there is a café and children running amok at the playground...

A restroom tucked in a discreet corner.

The park is central to the old town, as you van see.

Next week, we are going to change atmoshere for a more industrial feel... And I think I'm going to start to put up some chell houses so the town doesn't look that empty. So, see you next week guys!

Légende de l'art urbain français, Jef Aérosol a réalisé une fresque éphémère monumentale en pochoir, sur une façade donnant sur le jardin Godron. Transposition de la statue de la place Stanislas en peinture, elle interroge le rendu du relief, de la lumière et de la matière. Par son œuvre l'artiste réactive le patrimoine ancien et s'inscrit dans une continuité.

"I didn't inspect it personally, but it seems fine," Michaelis replied.

Believe it or not, I've been so intent on getting wherever I'm going that this morning I looked up and saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time. It certainly does seem fine!
