Shoelace Pose 💗 Speaking of.... I had 99 problems but tying my shoes with a heavy breath isn’t one of them anymore. 💙 The scar tissue I have from beating myself up is now being projected as wisdom since I have spent the last year loving myself, licking my wounds and no longer being stunted by my growth because I didn’t want to leave my comfort zone. ❤️ We all know what we are ‘good’ at and ‘not good’ at and it was solely my responsibility to work on me. I had to succumb to the realization that I was the only one that could do this and that no one else could do it for me. I could find accountability partners and cheerleaders but ultimately it was ON ME! 💛 Things I’m still good at: Being a morning person. Eating the right foods. Proofreading. Cooking. Laughing. Planning. Sharing my love for healthy things. Taking time for myself. Organizing. Crying. Letting things go. Reading. Being more present. Being a beginner. Allowing myself to be more vulnerable. Never being late. (Pet peeve) 🖤 Things I’m still not good at: Heights. June bugs. Elevators. Math. Trusting. Coordination. Keeping surprises a surprise. Breaking down my walls. Scary situations. Clutter. Using knives without cutting myself. Flying on a plane smaller than a 757. Winning anything I enter myself in. When my kids are upset. 💚 I’m working on some of these things. Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. - Jim Ryun 📗 Mindfulness is the practice of “remembering to remember” to be present. When you are fully present you can then become witness to your “habit energy” in action. 🌈 I implemented a Rebounding challenge for ME because I’ve taken too many breaks lately. I’m trying to challenge myself to do it 25 days in a row for 15 minutes once a day. I have to remind myself to be patient (what is that?) because habits are not created overnight and they will not shift overnight, but in time I will have created a healthy shift/habit. 🧤 Thank you @thekindyoga for these comfortable, not sweaty and super stay cool leggings to help me with motivation for my challenge. All of their proceeds go to helping orphans. How flipping cool is that?! Thank you for being such a kind company.
