a robotics startup i interned for a while back, which laid off a bunch of people late last year and has now completely shut down, had their offices/warehouse space a couple blocks away from the robotics startup i currently work for, which is renting out more space in the area to use as a production facility (soon we may have low double-digit numbers of robots! wow!!)

and i found out at lunch today that we happened to rent THE SAME BUILDING the other startup was in (sadly not the one they had when i worked there, but across the street). we may be keeping their conference room theming (the rooms are named after leafy greens) even though our conference rooms are named after famous women scientists and engineers because their signs are really nice and ours are still . masking tape and sharpie
