tbh you guys should know that i use the lines "i love you." "and i love you." a lot in my fics (and also recently in you look wonderful tonight), and you have to understand that it's founded on this thing i have with my closest friends where sometimes saying "i love you" with the modifier "too" makes it feel less intimate of a reply because it may feel like an afterthought? so we say "and i love you" instead, because it punctuates on the "i love you" part and makes it feel more intentional and more genuine—it's not just "too" which sometimes gives the vibes "yeah, you said it first so ofc, i love you too", it's and. a coordinating conjunction. something you use to connect ideas. you love me? yes, and, i love you.

...SO BASICALLY WHAT I'M SAYING IS THAT ZAYNE WOULD DO THIS. OKAY. HE WOULD. HE WOULD BECAUSE HE MIGHT NOT BE GOOD WITH WORDS BUT HE'S GOING TO FIND THE SMALLEST SUBTLEST WAYS TO CONVEY HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO HIM OK HE WOULD. HE WOULD AND HIS BIRTHDAY EVENT IS PROOF. I KNOW. THE DEVS TOLD ME.

i just had the CUTEST interaction of my life.

this guy i dont even know goes “ayo, blue headphones!” YELLS it across the road. and idk this guy so im literally not looking and then he does the baywatch slowmo run up to me, raises his arm to get my attention and everyt. and im thinking the WORST like. i have tp stuck to my shoe, i have a fat stain on the back of my pants.

apparently hes my friends boyfriend, hes seen me on her stories before, (she didnt want any of us to meet him yet bc theyre fairly new) and he asked me what she would like for her bday. and what she did for her bday in the past years. and asked me how big should he make a chocolate-book bouquet that HE IS HAND MAKING FOR HER. we sat down for 20 minutes, he bombarded me with questions about who exactly her “book boyfriends” are, her favourite books and webtoons. and he bought me a mountain dew as apology for making me late to class, and invited me to a mini party that hes gonna throw for her and his best friend that was awkwardly lingering by got my number so he cld text me the details.

my faith in humanity has been restored.
