The Road To Wrestlemania (Chapter 1)

Sequel to “Toxic Attraction 2.0”

Chapter Summary: It’s been 24 hours after WWE’s newest stable’s made their iconic debut at the Royal Rumble. Now the road to Wrestlemania officially begins.

Characters

Also featuring: Raquel Rodriguez, Dirty Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Adam Pierce.

Moments after Toxic Attraction 2.0 made their iconic debut, the gang headed backstage and immediately gained attention from WWE staff and fellow superstars. Hunter, Adam, and Nick praised the group for their debut. Especially to Will and Kyle who just made their WWE debut at one of the big five PLE events.

The group then headed back to the locker room to change out of their ring gear, freshened up, and hopped on a tour bus. Making their way to their first stop after the Royal Rumble for Monday Night Raw.

The day of Monday Night Raw, the five of them arrived at the arena, walking in with their suitcases and bags in hand and heading over to the locker room to get ready for Raw. Along the way, they were stared at by other WWE superstars, silently igniting some feuds between the stable. Some stare downs also ignited between the group such as the Terror Twins. Liv Morgan stared down at Rhea Ripley, who both had a history of bad blood between each other. While Damian Priest stared down first at Austin and Grayson, then Kyle and Will. Both groups walked away while rudely bumping into each other, signaling some animosity.

Once Monday Night was on the air and fans were already in attendance, the Judgement Day’s JD McDonagh, and Carlito stormed down to the ring with a pissed off Finn Balor. Finn grabbed the mic and immediately called out Liv for what happened at the Royal Rumble.

“Liv!!! Get your ass out her right now now and face the Judgement Day!”

Liv Morgan’s music then hit, and she came out but she was not coming alone.

She came out with the newest stable, her boyfriend Dom, and her ally Raquel.

All of them have their own mics on hand and Liv started responding to Finn’s call out.

“Finn, the only reason I abandoned the Judgment day is because the only ego that was always in the way between the Judgement Day was yourself. Besides, I would rather align myself with my partner Raquel, my Daddy Dom, and four handsome guys who garnered far more success than your entire career combined. Including your short 24 hour world title reign. Ha Ha Ha!” -Liv Morgan

“Ha Ha real funny Liv! In fact the Judgement Day did treated you and Raquel like family. We kicked Damian and Rhea out just to make room for the both of you. But now you wanna come out here, stab the crew in the back, and allign yourself with them four guys. Which half of them don’t belong to be in the WWE because they simply don’t have what it takes to be at this goddamn level!” - Finn

“Oi shut your mouth bruv! Finn, perhaps you and the rest of the Judgement Day forgot who the fuck I am.” - Will

“You see, they call me the Billy goat because I am the greatest of all time. This boy is called Mr. Pay-Per-View because he has the most five star plus pay per view matches than anybody on this entire roster.”

“Five stars eh?!?! Did you gained those five stars because were simply the best? Or were you awarded them because Dave Metzler showed fucking favoritism for you?” - Finn

*Crowd Gasps*

“Hey shut your mouth! You know Finn, this company is so goddamn lucky to have the best wrestlers in this entire industry. Because me and Will wrestled for every single promotion out there and have beaten the very best.”

“Dude let’s face it, you made your mark in the WWE. But your time is over boys. WWE belongs to the Judgement Day.” - JD

“Oh yeah, is that so? Well we love to see you try. Because anybody who wants to step up, is gonna get sent home. Because you guys are gonna go A-Town.” - Austin

“Ha Ha Ha!” - Liv Morgan

Once they are done cutting their promo, Toxic Attraction made their way down to the ring. The guys from the group have an intense stare down with Carlito, JD, and Finn. While Liv watches on with Raquel and Dom.

A brawl then breaks out but the numbers game were again too much for all three of them to handle.

But it wasn’t that long of a mugging until the entrance music from a familiar foe hits…

“This is my Brutality!”

Beyond shocked, Liv Morgan thought she has seen a ghost.

Then out comes Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.

Austin, Grayson, Kyle, and Will were also shocked by this as well. But that didn’t stop them from continuing to beat up the three men.

However, Damian and Rhea were ready to join in on the action and ran out to save Finn, JD, and Carlito.

Damian starts cleaning house by taking out Austin, Grayson, Kyle, and Will. While Rhea then goes for Liv Morgan. Raquel tries to help Liv fend her off but to not much success. Dom tries to protect Liv as well but gets caught with a riptide from Rhea.

Once the numbers have gone even on both sides, Finn, JD, and Carlito managed to get back up and return the favor to Toxic Attraction. Damian was about to hit a south of Heaven choke slam on Kyle, but was saved from the rest of group. The gang then retreat and made their way out of the ring. But they were stopped by Raw’s general manager Adam Pierce.

Hold on hold on, you guys are not getting off the hook that easily. In fact, these people came in to see a fight! Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher, you guys will have your first in ring WWE match against JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor. That is official!

The gang exited the ring and made their way backstage, but pissed off that Will and Kyle both have to face the Judgement Day for the first time in a WWE ring.

Meanwhile at ringside, Finn had an awkward moment with Damian and Rhea. Mainly because after everything that happened between them. He, JD, and Carlito exited the ring with no handshake or any thank you in return. Still trying to process what just happened.

2024 in review:

Damn, I can't think of 2025 with the same optimism I was looking forward to 2024, I'm tired as fuck.

First part of 2024 (January and February) was business as usual, not that much stressful.

Next I had to start preparing for interviews as the current company was dying and couldn't keep up with the market. While this wasn't stressful it did take a lot of effort from my side. In the end I declined a number of offers, understanding where I stand in the market and confident that I can find something pretty good in case of lay offs and also grab the nice severance package. This part with the interviews lasted for quite a bit, around from March until midJuly.

End of June and July I also made some plans for travelling first time outside of Europe: India, Vietnam, Korea and China. This was a pain in the ass, especially because of visas and vaccines and treatements for underdeveloped countries.

Starting end of July I started going to the large fests of the season: Artmania and Rockstadt, then I've been travelling through Asia, then back for Posada Fest. This was the relaxing part until September.

Then the stars finally alligned and was layed off with a handfull of money in severence, and thus I restarted the search for a new job. I only had to go through one loop of interviews this time as I already got an offer before and I knew what to expect. The process was painfully slow though, from October all the way to December. Actually I signed the contract just today. I had some anxiety but overall it was ok. The most difficult part was the brain rot I felt because of inactivity these months (would have travelled but chose not to just in case I get bad luck and don't land the job soon). Good that in principle it was done before December, otherwise it would have been an anxious waiting for the holidays when nobody is hiring.

On top of this, since October I also enrolled to PhD, just to see if I can do it. But it is becoming clear I don't have enough energy to do it, not without seriously affecting my quality of life. I'm still bang on the schedule, but I can't do it for 4 years with a full time job, concerts to go to, friends to meet, an entire world to visit. Will see, I'll probably try until summer and do an assesment after the 1st year of studies.

I even did notice that lately I'm less sociable, more angry, anxious and avoiding people. Not good. Not good.

So yea, its been a busy year and overall stressful. I feel tired. Good that at least I start the new job in February, so at least in January I can fully relax now.

Time for the statistics:

Visited 8 countries (one of them, Hungary, actually twice). Been to Hungary, Serbia again for the Rammstein concert, Hungary again, Italy, Vatican (if that's a country), India, Vietnam, Korea, China. That makes for a total of 30 up to now.

First time I left the continent.

21 cities

160 concerts. I start thinking I have an issue here..

A few more aquintances, but I dislike most of the new ones.

got layed off, got new job. End up with 3 salaries ahead of what I normally made from the layoff - and with 5 months in which I was payed without having a job or having to work at the job. The new job pays me 66% more than the previous one for the 1st year and 48% better for the next 3.

I am angrier and more frustrated and less social :(

I started a collection of albums on physical CDs. I love searching for rare albums and asking around.

I listened almost exclusively to albums and not individual songs. That says something about my growth as a music fan.

I started listening to some classical music too.

Since being layed off I digged a lot in black metal and learned so much about music (and art).

Cristina frustrates me, but I like her

Found a girl who I might be compatible with. I was too fucked up mentally to ask her out.

Started DCAing on the stock market

Romania almost fell for the Russian interferance in the elections. Hopefully repeating them in 2025 will avoid a repeat of this.

Anthony's Stupid Daily Blog (802): Mon 27th May 2024

I managed to stay off the internet all day so I wouldn't have the results from AEW's Double or Nothing spoiled for me and I'm glad because the show I was treated to when I got home was a banger. Ospreay vs Strong was very hard hitting and fast paced as I expected. I know AEW gets a lot of schtick due to their unfocused creative, struggles to fill arenas, frivolous spending and having a man child for a boss but they have succeeded in giving Roderick Strong a smidgen of a personality so in my opinion it has all been worth it. Next we got the return of MJF who got a thunderous reaction from the live crowd. For some reason MJF wore HHH's 2001 denim jacket over leather jacket look. Hope he doesn't plan on continuing to follow Hunter's fashion choices because I don't relish the thought of seeing him with a handlebar moustache and bicycle shorts in two years time. Serena Deeb and Toni Storm both put in an incredibly impressive showing. I think with the right booking Deeb could go down in the history books as the female Bret Hart but sadly the fans weren't into her despite her strong performance here because Toni Storm is now a face by proxy. If they're going to build Serena up they need to have her feud and get key wins over fully fledged heels (would love to see her feud with Kamille). The FTW triple threat match between Jericho, Hook and Shibata was very entertaining. At one point a stocky man dressed all in black entered the ring and began pounding on Hook and Shibata with a trash can and for a moment I genuinely thought it was Jericho's old WCW bodyguard Ralphus until I remembered Ralphus was dead and it was revealed to be Bryan Keith who has now apparently alligned himself with Jericho and wishes to sit under the Learning Tree. Malakai Black and Adam Copeland had an very bloody and dramatic Barber Wire Steel Cage match. I was very much hoping that Black would win because he needs a big win over an established star but sadly Copeland won but not without paying a price. At one point Copeland climbed to the top of a steel cage and jumped off intending to hit an elbow drop but clearly panicked after jumping and landed on his fucking feet! It later transpired that he had fractured his tibia and will need surgery. Who the fuck okayed this spot? Serve and Christian had a very enjoyable WCW style match with lots of interferance and hullaballoo throughout. The finish came when Swerve hit Christian mid air with a House Call while he was trying to spear him. This match was good and the build was pretty entertaining I just wish this was the main focus of the pay per view rather than booking Swerve to be a middle of the card champion. the event concluded with Anarchy in the Arena which was a lot of fun and had a lot of jaw dropping moments such as Jack Perry's legs being lit on fire and Darby Allin being hung by his feet from a cable dangling from the rafters for what felt like an eternity (If I knew how to layer audio over video I would layer the sound of Stan from South Park's temporary step father Roy dangling from his clubhouse calling out "Hello? Sharon? Can someone get me down from here? This cerainly does suck right here…Sharon?" and send it to Botchamania

(Weird that they mention Shishinki along with Ryukotsusei as contributing to Inuyasha’s Father’s death, I always thought he just fucking wrecked Shishinki and stole the Meido Zangetsuha from him which is why he was so pissed but apparently Inu no Taisho was just going through a Boss Rush that week and it took half a dozen climactic world-ending battles to take him down.
