The two were given no option but to run.

They dashed through Supervillain's lair, the villain always right on their heels. Every time they thought they'd lost the master criminal, they always leapt out in front of them or dropped down from above, startling Hero and Villain and sending them running back another way.

Now they were exhausted and hopelessly lost, clinging to each other as they tried to catch their breaths.

"Where are they?" Villain gasped, scanning the dark rooms around them. Either the electric bill was really high or Supervillain just liked being in the dark, all their rooms were so terribly lit and some didn't appear to have light switches.

The two wouldn't have turned them on anyway, as they were trying to hide, but they would've been useful.

"I don't know," Hero swallowed, their throat raw from breathing so heavily. "But we have to-"

Suddenly a hand lashed out from the dark, causing Villain to leap back with a screech.

Then they were off, dashing out of the room and into the next, with the sound of Supervillain's footsteps just behind them.

"You can't run forever!" Supervillain shouted, and they all knew they were right. The two were exhausted, and it wouldn't be long before they would be forced to collapse.

Still they managed to pull ahead, dashing around corners so tightly that their adversary fell behind. At last they turned around one last corner, where Hero spied a small door that looked like it lead to a supply closet.

In an instant they threw it open and tugged Villain inside after them, shutting it behind them.

The two stood in the dark, listening as Supervillain's footsteps grew closer, then retreated in the opposite direction.

They simultaneously let out the breaths they'd been holding.

Hero took a step back, and as they did so they bumped against Villain. Villain teetered wildly, gasped, then was sent reeling backwards into the dark.

There came several loud thumps and cries, and Hero whirled around. "Villain?!"

Squinting, Hero was just able to make out the outline of a first few steps beneath them, stretching into the dark.

Oh. This wasn't a closet, this was a stairwell, and Villain had apparently just fallen all the way down to the bottom.

In a flash Hero rushed down the stairs towards their partner, falling on their knees at the foot of the steps next to them. "Villain! Are you okay?"

Villain just groaned, and Hero pulled them up against them. "Can you hear me? What hurts?"

"My head," Villain's voice came out as a whine. "And my arm. I don't want to move."

So Hero didn't make them move, they held them close as they caught their breath. They'd finally shaken Supervillain, and maybe this lead to a way out. If not, they could hide town hear until Supervillain left, and they could sneak out of their lair.

"Well," they muttered. "At least it can't get any worse."

Unbeknownst to them, something lurked near them in the dark, something with too many eyes and rows of sharp teeth. Something that had been left down here on purpose.

as always this was meant to be a 'quick pwp' lol, very much inspired by a t&n fest prompt from last year that no one picked up. i was VEEEEERY intrigued by the concept of this pairing and could not let it go. many months later... here we are.

Tarot Card Drabbles (assorted pairings, 7.8k, varied ratings)

"hey, i was thinking maybe i'll write some drabbles based on tarot cards, just for fun?" — me, feeling like this was a good idea all the way back in march. reader: it took ten whole months to write 78 bloody drabbles. it was not a good idea.

BUT I DID IT ANYWAY! originally i was going to save this post for tomorrow because i only posted the last drabble this morning, but i quite like the idea that i can leave this in 2022. i will not subject you to more talk about how hard this project was. i don't need to do that, you don't want that, so instead i am going to give you some stats! because they're fun!

this series took 272 days to complete,

the pairings that kept popping up were my trusty drarry (26 drabbles), my first-love wolfstar (6) and my newly found obsession jegulus (5),

in terms of most loved characters, there were 11 pairings featuring harry outside of the drarry ones mentioned above, and 7 featuring draco! there were also 7 featuring regulus outside of the jegulus drabbles,

for this series i wrote 28 pairings i had never written before,

54 of the drabbles were lightning era, 18 marauders era, and 6 were next gen,

i wrote 2 gen drabbles, 58 m/m, 5 f/f, 4 f/m, 10 multi and 1 other (other meaning that one sorting hat/sword of gryffindor drabble),

rating wise 55 of the drabbles were rated teen and up, and 23 mature/explicit,

and when it came to genres 45 were soft/funny/fluffy, 16 were angsty/sad/open ended, and 17 were pure smut,

finally, 43 out of a total of 78 were prompted by lovely people here on tumblr which i'm still massively grateful for :')

i won't be putting these on ao3 because the formatting and the tagging would be a nightmare and i don't fancy doing it as 78 separate works but you can find them under their own little tag ✨

I have finally full comboed every expert/master song below level 27 available on enpjsk & while the profits were great I will say the fact that the mad skillz achievement gives you nothing but a title & bragging rights is so stupid. Not even a title bonus. But you get a title bonus from everyone having one of the same title (even getting 5 ppl with a title from the same unit Is a pain in the ass) & for everyone picking the same song (I have literally never seen this happen)? Hateful game. Give me my pathetic +10 bonus miku.

i'm trying my best, the most i can possibly give, to not let the bald of gato 3 fandom ruin my enjoyment of starry boy. but i feel like i am being tested on an hourly basis and my will is only so strong.

i really like his character a lot. i'm attached to him. but trying to experience fun and good fan content becomes so difficult when 95% of people are so fucking insufferable and say the wildest shit.

like please i know we are all feral but only one of us needs a goddamn tranq.
