Bellatrix glanced up from her spot on the floor, "One moment, I'm helping Sirius with a project."

Narcissa gasped slightly, "Is that Uncle Orion's robe?"

Sirius grinned, "Yeah! I took it from his wardrobe and Bella's helping me decorate it!"

Bellatrix grinned too, as she charmed frills onto the material.

"That's disrespectful. We are guests in their home!" Narcissa panicked, glancing out the door to check no one was coming up.

Bellatrix laughed, "Calm down, Cissa, it's a harmless prank."

Narcissa huffed, storming out the room to go tell Andromeda.

Sirius giggled as she left, "I put glue in her shawl."

Bellatrix slowly turned to Sirius with wide eyes, "That is brilliant. You know, if you take after me, you'll be the best heir this family has ever had."

Sirius' grin dropped for a moment, "That's boring."

"Now, Sirius, family tradition isn't boring", she leaned over to boop his nose, "Especially with people like us in charge."

"What will I even do all day", Sirius huffed, "Father just sits in his office drinking."

"Your father squanders our legacy", Bellatrix patted Sirius' on the arm as she added flowers to the robes, "But you could do so much more. Our family name has standing in society, as the heir you could could control politics, laws, education", Bellatrix's eyes glistened, "Anything."

Sirius huffed, "Boring."

Bellatrix glared at him for a second before softening up again, "Well maybe once your heir, you could just... choose to make me heir instead. Then you can go and have fun and play pranks and games whilst I do all that boring stuff."

"Yeah", Sirius grinned, jumping up to wrap his arms around her, "You're the best cousin!"

"Thank you, Sirius", Bellatrix grinned back, "Now... what do you say we go mess with Reggie's teddy bear again?"
