The moon and the stars

The stars and the moon used to give me inner peace.

When I used to be angry I just looked up to the sky and it calmed me.

When I was sad I looked up and it made me feel better...

Now, I feel nothing when I look up.

only when sleep lulls the world

so that the mortals gazing from below

don't claim it for themselves

for even the sky fears human nature

I wish you would want to come running

With your star gazing eyes

But this time i am the burning one

I am the light

Run, like a moth, baby

Come searching for me

The stars give the sweetest light

Twinkling up so high

I imagined reaching up to them

And plucking one from the sky

I'd break off a tiny piece

And taste it's sweetness for myself

And when I had finished that one

I'd contemplate taking another one

I don't want to be selfish

I can't take very many

Before others would miss them

And discover my delicious secret

That the stars are as sweet

As the light that they give

hey! idk if this is gonna sound annoying & i dont mean to bother you but i struggle with dermatilomania (skin picking/skin eating) & i usually find ways to stop myself like watching videos or even sitting on my hands..! my sister used to pull her hair in her sleep, but we would put a shower cap on so that she couldnt do it..! im sorry if this isnt any help but i just rlly hope u feel better soon!

Stars...

As the night grows, the stars in the sky begin to appear... As I gaze upon the stars, I feel as though I am looking into the heart of the skies..... Giving life to the night, as the stars shines Shining softly in the skies to bring beauty to the night... Like small jewels in the skies, as the stars shine in the skies...
