also sky was amazing again tonight, got pics in the queue on @starfry

and now legit looking into upgrading phone bc i keep getting absolutely amazing skies but by the time i get home for the dslr and get it set up the sky has moved on, probably gonna look @ the s23 bc i cant see any differences between 23 and 24 camera wise and idrc about the rest of it all tbh, anythings an upgrade from the s10 lol

Early this year, I wanted to do the Six Fanarts again only on Twitter. But this time, the theme is Original characters as I wanted to start drawing other artist's characters. I got my six and starting off is Starfry's (Twitter) characters, Wroc.

I had been working on a washing machine. For some reason it had been filled with gravel. It was clean gravel, sure, but it didn't really belong inside of a washing machine. I kept scooping the gravel out and piling it off to the side. So far, I had made several hip-height piles without even lowering the amount in the machine itself.

I stopped myself and looked around. I was in a building. There were rows of washing machines. That meant it was a laundry. Things seemed to swirl around me so I closed my eyes and shook my head. When I opened them the place was decrepit. The machines were all open and broken and rusted. Dirt and leaves were all over the floor. The whole place was an abandoned mess.

I shuffled to the back of the building and found a bathroom with a wooden door. It was the kind of weatherbeaten door you'd find on an outhouse in the wild west. It was closed but unlocked. I shoved it open despite the bottom in the dirt and debris, only to find it was a janitorial closet.

I rummaged around in the spacious closet, but was stopped dead in my tracks when a shadow stepped out of the shadows. It was far taller than I, almost touching the ceiling, but roughly shaped like a person. It wasn't a shadow. It had depth and texture. It was like a thing made of charcoal. Atop the thing was a head that seemed to be made up of dozens of different faces, all glued together, and all the same charcoal color and texture. It was only the first. Another moved into the dim light, more normal sized like my height. Yet another moved closer, though that one seemed more like a large hound dog with floppy ears and a floppy expression about it. Despite the spooky appearance, they all were quite amiable and gentle. The hound-looking one nosed me firmly back out the door, then led me out of the building and out to the street.

There was something on the ground. It was a dismembered, large dog. For a moment I was concerned that the charcoal thing next to me had killed this one and had taken its place. Like, in some evil sort of way. But the charcoal one was shouting at the building. Not barking, but actual shouting. It was warning the others inside, but I couldn't understand the words.

The assorted parts on the ground began to twitch, tumble, and slither around on the ground, moving to form a clump of parts, then sliding into the proper place to form the original dog. It was an Afghan hound. Or it looked like one, but was also far larger than one should be. It was some sort of deity in the shape of a dog. I realized that the shape was almost identical to the charcoal one, and that must also be an Afghan Hound of some kind. I looked back around to compare the two, but now there was only a single one. They had melded together, or something. It looked at me, then looked up at the sky and stayed frozen like a statue.

I noticed a man standing next to some parked cars in a parking lot beside the laundry. I walked over to where he was and he was talking. It seemed he was talking to himself, but like carrying on a conversation. I realized he was The Doctor (Matt Smith version). He barely seemed to see me, then abruptly stopped and looked straight at me, as if I was suddenly something bright and attention-grabbing.

There was a loud noise from above, and we both looked up. There were streaks of fire and smoke in the sky. Meteors. The air was vibrating with a deep rumbling as they passed overhead. A small one thumped through a nearby building and exploded on the ground a few blocks down the street. Before we could do much more than duck down and cover our heads, another, larger one, punched down and landed right beside us.

There was this glowing yellow flash of light, like a haze enveloping everything. Then just glow. Then nothing, as we all died.
