I'm watching my boyfriend play Starfield, and his ship is a bloody maze.

We can't walk around in there. We know "where" everything is, but we can't find it while walking around inside.

Let us choose where our doors will be! Let us choose where the ladders will be without having to add 1x1 parts. Let us make the doors all match. Let us edit and decorate our ships because I spend more time on that rust bucket than I do in the penthouse the UC gave me because it's worthless to try and decorate it only for us to loose everything the second we reload the map!

Give me a way to add a bounty board on my ship so I don't have to risk going through the cities and getting shot at, or worse: arrested!

Also, GIVE US RADIOS! Planet exploration will become so much better if we can listen to our Broadway tunes in game (that I won't have to pause manually for a dialogue), like, yk... FALLOUT! Come on! Gimme a radio called "Old Earth Radio" and put on some music! Put one SSNN radio so we can listen to the news and get some more activities! Give me original music from the artists we see posters of all over the Starfield!

the ambassador of house va'ruun is such a vibe honestly. he's been chilling alone in a dark snake-themed abandoned building overgrown with trees that produce hallucinogenic sap, not going out anywhere for years, to the point that the outside world had assumed he's long dead. but when they sent in spies to check up on him he decided to hide in the shrubs just to keep up the intrigue. i wish i got paid to do that

Snippet Sunday

today I was tagged by the lovely @fangbangerghoul and have a little something with Becker today and her personal quest during Cora's adventure.

I'm trying to get back into juggling projects, I've been so focused on Cora's story that I've been neglecting other things and variety helps me but also I would like to finish Cora's adventure which is getting quite long lol

but anyway the snippet under a read more because it indirectly touches on light spoilers for one of the House quests in Shattered Space:

“Is every base under House Ma’leen control affected?” Becker asked. They ducked behind a counter in the mess hall as several cousins ran for their lives. One of the Redeemed chased close behind with bloody schimaz gripped in both hands.

“Not every base,” she sighed heavily, “but enough. Khaslav’s crew will be unaffected. He was far too paranoid to log into the shared network. I can only hope Dragica’s was untouched.”

“Are you safe?” Becker asked.

“I am,” she confirmed, “Agneza and I are locked in my quarters. Where are you now?”

“On my way,” Becker’s fingers grazed the polished wooden handle of their Razorback, “you two sit tight and I can see about evacuating you to the Anarchy. We can hop over to Dragica’s to see if she’s safe.” “Your ship wasn’t affected?” Zoya asked.

“Didn’t look it,” Becker grinned, “I never logged into the system, remember? You didn’t want any trace for when I jumped back to continue the ruse with the Heretics?”

“Yes,” Zoya let out a relieved little laugh and clapped her hands, “yes! Perfect. Marijeta, you are a life-saver.”

I’m a life-something, Becker thought as they came to a stop outside Zoya’s room. They feigned panic and rapped on the door as zealots screamed at the end of the hall, “hurry, before the abomination sees me.”

The lock clicked and door opened inward, allowing Becker to spill into the room. They stumbled into Agneza as they kicked the door shut and gave the zealot a roaming pats hug, searching her for weapons under the guise of clumsy excitement.

“How bad is it out there?” she asked as she straightened Becker up, her hands gripping their biceps gently, “I haven’t been able to get a single camera back online.”

“That’s because whatever hit the network fried everything,” Becker looked down and knocked off dust on their pants, “whole place smells like someone cooked a motherboard.”

“How could he be so stupid!” Zoya yelled as she threw her belongings into a bag, “letting that heretic anywhere near a computer.”

Agneza had turned her back to Becker, walking back to the desk to pack up what gear had not been slagged. Becker pulled their Razorback from their holster and leveled it at the back of the zealot’s head, “good question.”

2023 has been a really hectic year when it comes to the entertainment industry, what with the writers and actors strikes and project delays, but overall we still got a lot of good content this year and I’m especially looking forward to what 2024 has to offer.

I went to Sonny Di Falco's Island in Starfield. He is (ahem... was) a member of some crime organization's middle management who enjoyed a lavish lifestyle. His house is very "Miami chic".
