Another draw for @sabineweek, this time with the master and apprentice themselves 😊✨

From the prompt list day 3: Sabine’s birthday passes on Peridea. She’s lost track of the days, but Ahsoka hasn’t.

I really hope that Ahsoka and Sabine’s relationship gets better and deeper in season 2, that they resolve a lot of their hurt and pains from the past and current. As well as getting more show of how they got to be master and apprentice during the time in between ✨

Just a nice comfort draw of Ahsoka being proud of Sabine and surprising her with a simple birthday appreciation that the Mandalorian hasn’t noticed, with the help of Sabine’s howler and the little Noti baby, that has grown fond of Sabine (shown waving at her during episode 7!).

This is the first time actually drawing Ahsoka in my rendered art. I’m glad that I have had plenty of practice prior with drawings of her being silly and teasing towards Sabine 🤭✨

I definitely see them as a mentor and apprentice/platonic relationship, but I don’t mind if you tag this as a ship 💜💙🧡😊

I bet the cute hermit crab friends will be sad to see Ezra go. After all, Ezra was with these cute guys for 10 years. And even learned their language and culture.

I mean it's fairly self explanatory 😅 but it's very soft and fluffy too. There is also some Sabezra cuddles 🥰 I'll give you some good snippets.

She ran her fingers over his scars and tucked some of his hair behind his ear and he started to wake up. He made a sleepy hmmm sound, which she decided she loved, and used the arm he had over her to pull her close to him so he could place some sleepy kisses on her face. "You know you are a lot more fun to cuddle with than the Noti. Much softer, and definitely prettier" She laughed harder than she had in a long time. Ezra was still himself after all this time.

Hearing a knock on the pod door, Sabine stood and shuffled over to open it. Outside stood the mother Noti with a drink for her. She couldn’t understand their language, but she got the idea when Noti gestured to her stomach. Sabine accepted the drink and thanked the Noti before she walked off to tend to her baby rocking in the hammock. This had become a little morning routine between them. Mother Noti would bring Sabine a drink in the morning and then go back to her campsite. At first Sabine was unsure about drinking what was in the cups but what little she felt through the Force told her it was ok so she drank it. Surprisingly it didn’t have much taste but it did wonders at keeping her morning sickness away.

"Far, Far Away" has one of my favorite things in Star Wars: alien cultures that are completely new and different from anything we've ever seen before, yet which somehow fit perfectly in this universe.

Some facts…

Nobody else on the Peridea speaks basic other than Ezra, Thrawn and his stormtroopers, and the nightsisters

Ezra confidently refers to the adorable Peridean wolves as “howlers”

Therefore…

Possible conclusion 1: Ezra roughly translated the Noti word into basic

Possible conclusion 2: Ezra came up with the word on his own early into his exile, just cuz he heard them howling

Possible conclusion 3 (my favorite): Ezra has never had to talk about the wolves in basic before, so he made up a word for them on the spot when talking to Sabine and just pretended it’s a well-known word

It’s entirely possible, depending on when he and Ezra separated post-Purgill dumping, that Thrawn calls the wolves something completely different. I want to see him and Ezra argue over it at some point
