do any of you remember Chopper from the clone wars, season 1 ep 16 ?

yeah i've been thinking about him alot. and i have a headcanon that might make some people upset, but i really think it's cute.

so hear me out, we know Howzer is the captain of a battalion / squad on Ryloth. what if Chopper, after Slick (his original squad leader) was arrested / decommed for spilling info, what if his squad was transferred to Howzer's team ? and theoretically if that happened, Chopper and his squad would have met the Syndulla family.

personally, i think it would be really cute if Hera named Chopper (c1-10p) after the clone who helped liberate Ryloth ? maybe Chopper died defending Ryloth, or one of the Syndulla family members and Hera remembered it and named her droid after him ?

Whumptober day eight

Whumptober 2024 - day 8 - Prompt: “Leave the lights on”

this is definetly one of my worse works, but a fan-fic is a fan-fic

It was exactly 1 year after the empire was defeated, and with all the time to herself, the pilot decided to try tracking down some lost brothers 

“Omega?” She heard her best friend, Hera, walk into her room with 2 glasses of some unknown liquid, probably alcoholic.

 “Hm?” Omega hummed, not paying attention to the Twi'lek

“Omega, what are you doing?” Hera joked, used to her friend going through phases like this, entranced in her work until someone stopped her.

“I am doing something i should have done a long time” The not-so-young Clone grabbed a datapad and started furiously typing.

“Which is?” Hera pried, peeking over Omega’s shoulder to look at the datapad “ERIADU?” she yelled “No no no no no no no NO” she snatched the dad from her friends hands “when you joined your brothers made me promise to not let you do anything dumb, and that IS!” 

Hera tossed the pad onto Omega’s bed, grumbling, “why do you need to go back there anyway?”

Omega looked at the ground, face red “you Know why” Hera shook her head “Omega im sorry but He’s Dead” she said forcefully 

“No! Listen, every time i’m near general Skywalker i feel the exact same way Ventress said i would 

“Okay so you’re gonna let some Ex-Assassin tell you what's true and what's not?”

“No! But listen, even if he’s NOT alive i NEED to go, t-to get his armor, his tools, His Datapad! He LOVED that datapad! And i already let the marauder get destroyed, i need to get his stuff”

Omega grabbed the broken goggles, waving them in the air “Because of his sacrifice, we were able to free Dozens of clones! And I want something for people to know him by! To see his armor! To make sense of the sacrifice he made” Omega dropped on the bed next to her friend “okay” Hera sighed, taking the bottles, “Clearly you’re set on this decision” as she walked out to leave, she called “But go to sleep!” 

“Yes Ma’am” Omega chuckled, laying down “but” Omega hesitated, face turning red “Can you please leave the lights on?” 

Hera had to laugh “sure ’Meg” she smiled peacefully as she strolled away from her Friends room.

In retrospect, I regret skipping Rebels. 🥲

not just because of Ahsoka, I haven’t gotten there yet. But because back then, I got interested in star wars (I’m still am) when I was a teen and wanted to watch it all in chronological word, and I was told by someone “oh skip rebels, it kinda irrelevant” and then I saw at least during the time that people were saying the show was mid. So I shrugged and say “okay”. And now in 2023, I now finally got to watch it, I’m on season 2 I have to pick it up again, and honestly I should’ve just not listen to people, because at least imo, rebels pretty good, does it get kid-ish at time, sure but it not like that a bad thing really. I do think the story pretty solid when it come to Ezra, and only most of the character are pretty good, I don’t have a complaint really (tbh my favorite is probably kanan, I do like his complexity and how even thought yes he still acts as a jedi he does care deeply. Tbh I’m hazy since I didn’t pick it up again so I might have rewatch again. My bad 😅)

So honestly, even though I regret not seeing rebels especially since at that time I had just finished watching clone wars after season seven dropped. But I’m just glad I’m watching it watching it now. ^v^

Also I’m not going to lie, the fact Ezra’s lightsaber (at least now unless he loses it at some point since I saw he have completely different color lightsaber) is a gun and a lightsaber is kinda cool, I would like a lightsaber like that. Idk 😅
