La d’avui és una altra de les òperes que estimo més i que malauradament a casa nostra no es representa des de la temporada 1958/1959 que va ser quan es va fer per primer cop a l’Estat Esapanyol, partlem de 58 anys. La vergonya que fa escriure-ho no pot ser més gran que la que haurien de tenior els responsables que han passat pèl Liceu ençà d’aquella històrica estrena amb la Duval i la Crespin encapçalant el cast.

La proposta ve de La Monnaie i està dirigida musicalment de manera magnífica per Alain Altinoglu i escénicament per Olivier Py.

El repartiment reuneix el bo i millor del panorama vocal femení francès, amb una grandiosa Patricia Petibon al capdavant de l’emotiu rol de Blanche de la Force, acompanyada per les imponents Sophie Koch, Véronique Gens, Sandrine Piau o Sophie Pondjilis.

pel que fa als rols masculins, no tan rellevants però importants destaca el Chevalier de la Force del tenor Stanislas de Barbeyrac.

Aquesta és una òpera de sentiments, d’impacte musical que va entrant de mica en mica. Per a tots els que no la coneixeu us recomano que us deixeu emportar, la música us anirà calant com la pluja fina, acompanyant l’emotiva historia i acabareu amb el cor en un puny en un dels finals més colpidors que heu viscut en un escenari operístic, ja que el talent i l’instint teatral de Poluenc va estar del tot inspirat.

La versió és esplèndida en totes les vessant, la musical perquè Antinoglu sap anar teixint la xarxa que acaba per commoure, la vocal perquè tots els cantants estan en el seu rol, fent-los creïbles amb força i una naturalitat poc habitual sobre els escenaris operístics propensos a les exhibicions. Aquí i per mèrit d’un director que no sempre em convenç, Oliver Py, s’aconsegueix que el cant i el teatre s’uneixin sense artificis.

Una producció esplèndida per a una òpera esplèndida.
