Our @beautyforfreedom #HERSTORY Campaign is launching today featuring our team member @mars_toro and her INCREDIBLE ARTWORK Let’s start with the “WHAT” and the “WHY” of HERSTORY a Women of Color Empowerment Movement --- A Livestream music event and non-profit benefit concert to support Black-Owned Grassroots Organizations doing integrous work --- BOOM💥💥💥   What: Beauty for Freedom @beautyforfreedom (Global), StandForEducation @standforeducation  (South Sudan), The Adelle Onyango Initiative @adelleonyangoinitiative (Kenya) and Tiwale @tiwalecbo (Malawi) are partnering with #ForModelsByModels @formodelsbymodels @djdluxe @scarlett.delatorre @polyzonicproductions @jenyrose @6am.models @mars_toro in producing an all-day virtual musical and performance event, a non-profit benefit concert which will benefit four women of color led grassroots organizations, all musicians and all artists involved. 100% proceeds will be distributed equally between the organizations. All contributing artists and musicians involved will receive a stipend. All of the funds raised will be donated to Emergency Relief Efforts through our respective philanthropic platforms and creative therapeutic art programming. We are in a global crisis and grassroots organizations and artists have had devastating impact to their livelihoods, community organizing, and projects.     Why: As a collective of women led non-profits and global artists, we know that there is an urgent need to place a gender lens on injustice everywhere, including in humanitarian settings where girls and women are often most at-risk.
