My Leshawna & Harold ask wasn't ship hate, as I do love them. But on this stamce how is Harold a fetishizer of black women? He's shown interest in other characters, specifically ones who aren't black too. Heather ringing any bells? Does him having a crush on Leshawna suddenly mean that? Is it because he likes her curves, because then that would be fat fetishizing instead. If we believe he's fetishizing her. Which I don't. You're given a character who genuinely loves everything about another character, and that automatically means it must come from an ingenuine place? It instead just sounds like it's too hard to believe to some of you that someone could even like Leshawna.

My opinion: it’s specifically the way he talks to leshawna in island. Honestly i think that the fetish-y way Harold talks about leshawna isn’t carried over to the other seasons. But like. The first thing he says to her is that she’s “real big and loud” which is uh. Uhh. Then the love note he writes to her about her butt is a little weird too. It just comes across as fetish-y. But yeah, i can totally understand the confusion if someone were just to watch TDA and TDWT where Harold is way more normal about his crush on leshawna

Brain is too loud and sleep won't come atm. So I'm gonna spitball some horrendously cruel idea's for enemies and mechsnics that can show up in the DLC.

Enemies made of Deathblight infested goo, they have a weak aura (miasma?) Of deathblight around them when attacking and have the reverse of the Stone miners mechanic in the base game. Where the Stone Miners make the players attacks bounce off of them and do reduced damage if one handing a light weapon, the Deathblight goo enemy will make the player's weapon get stuck for the same length of time if attacking them while using a weapon two handed.

A mimic grace mini-boss. It looks like a site of grace, but does approximately 1/4th the players maximum vigor in damage in a grab attack move if the player tries to rest at it. This grab attack also inflicts the debuff that prevents you from fast traveling until you sit at a real site of grace, like when getting teleported by a trap chest.

A new status condition, it doesn't do normal damage but instead Stamce/Poise damage. It behaves like poison or scarlet rot in that it periodically does ticks of poise damage to the player. When the poise damage causes the player to have a 0 or below poise value the player goes into a parried state, allowing for an enemy to ripost them if possible.

Enemies that burrow beneath the ground, deactivating the players lock-on. They have several animations for coming back above ground, but also have a version of each animation where they only take a quick peek and then burrow back underground. They are programmed to only come back out of the ground 35% of the time with the other 65% chance being to only peek, and they have MASSIVE aggro ranges to prevent the player from just walking away.

I'm honestly always so scared of opening up to others about being a part of a system, because I'm afraid of us being attacked. My headmates are more likely to just shrug it off than me, but I know it still hurts them to be told they aren't real.

Do you have any tips for figuring out which spaces are safe/not?

we ourself usually just hang out in a private server with some system friends of ours but, you can tell by a few things.

1) always make sure to use the block button liberally, in case your wrong.

2) if a place has endo in the title or is unprofessional, its probably bait or more prone to targeting by syscringe. (applies to mainly discord servers)

3) taking a quick look at a blog and scrolling for a bit, see if they say anything about their stamce on syscourse, if they have any. you figure out what to do from there.

4) places with fluid blacklists instead of static ones tend to get targeted more.

5) if people are hostile, it generally isnt safe. (applied to like, everything, on both sides.)

i wish there was discourse abt murdoc and 2d that took into account murdocs past abuse and mental illness into account when assessing his character but also allowed people to hate him as hes still an abuser and didnt dismiss the people who may empathize with 2d as an abuse victim/associate murdocs behavior in genereal with their own trauma that didnt guilt fans into excusing murdocs actions because his past or label people who hate him as inherently ableist

It’s why he dies. It wasn’t about him and his pride or ego - as I’ve seen people argue. He couldn’t save her, but he could save someone else he cared about. He could save Dustin. He could try and save the town by leading the bats away from the gate.

To say he didn’t care about her, or wasn’t affected by her death, is just. A total lack of understanding for his character, and media illiteracy.

Regardless of whether you ship them or not Chrissy died brutally right in front of his eyes, I’d really like to clarify I’m not saying this as a shipper, if someone died like Chrissy did right in front of your eyes it’d literally be the only thing on your mind for a while. It would haunt you. I’m not saying this as “Chrissy was constantly on his mind 😍” I’m saying this as “Chrissy was constantly on his mind 😔”

By the way, they’re talking about the scene where Eddie tells Steve to make Vecna pay. Both shippers are forgetting that Vecna ruined Eddie’s life too because of what he did the whole town thinks he is a psycho serial killer, he not only want’s vengeance for Chrissy he wants vengeance for himself too.

He has a heart, he’s not an emotionless psycho, he cared about Chrissy, it doesn’t matter if you think he cared about her as a friend, as someone with romantic interest or just as a peer. If you seriously think he wasn’t thinking about Chrissy in that moment, even just a little bit, you might as well be just like Jason and all his friends who think he never cared about anyone.
