It was so hard to pick which fics to do, even limiting myself to multichapter ones, but I went with The Long Burning Torch and Drifting Roads bc I have a massive soft spot for both of them.

TLBT is, of course, my recently completed ShoH 20s Detective AU(art from sssamsondraws; I had no luck finding a good aesthetic pic with a lady detective >.>)

Drifting Roads is a DA:I fic ft. Levyn Trevelyan(*cough* actually Inquisitor!Jowan *cough*) stuck in the Fade after a particularly draining fight. That art's official concept art of the Fade.

A beautiful “ugly holiday sweater” commission I bought from the kind and talented @sssamsondraws as an early Christmas/holidays present for @heraldofwho. It’s our favorite angsty couple in a Better World(TM) AU where they’re both not diseased and/or dying from the Taint. 

Last year I wrote a “Mistletoe Kiss” for them, this year...tada! Thanks @heraldofwho for creating Das and being such a wonderful part of the Dragon Age fandom <3

I really can’t emphasize how much I like her, the colours, the cheekbones and jaw, the skin tone, I just... wow! She’s even more beautiful than I remembered her.  Go check their blog out!!!

A piece i got from the wonderful @sssamson / @sssamsondraws This was a wing-it piece where the Sssamson/Sssamsondraws had full control over what type of scene Dar’Nara is in! I decided to write up a little story to go with it after it was complete, i hope you enjoy! :D

Sometimes Dar'Nara will just observe the silence of space in a quiet area of a Quarian vessel that isnt his room. When he doesnt want absolute silence by muting his helmet but also doesnt want loud noise. Where some quiet talking and the humm of the engines is all that can be heard. These areas of a Quarian ship can allow for mental focus especially during times where Dar'Nara may be having a rough time with things. In this specific shot, Dar'Nara is observing a planet the Fleet is visiting for trade. Soon Dar'Nara will be called to help with that so for now he is taking the opportunity to clear his head as he has been going through a rough time. Unsure of what he should do about feelings he has towards another. So he is focusing on resolving that so that he is focused when he is called for to help with loading and unloading any cargo as part of the trade they are there for. He knows that if he is not fully focused when called for that he will very likely forget something or do something wrong as a result of being distracted by his troubles. So best he get through that first! Quarian life can certainly be hard, just like anyones life can be. We experience hurdles just like anyone! And in this case, Dar'Nara is trying to jump that hurdle and continue onwards instead of potentially wallowing in a pit of mental negativity as a result of something he is going through.
