well you’re welcome!! ajajxjbwjs i’m still here so my blog’s still here! i can’t imagine i’m sure there’s some wild posts in there lol, a while ago i was going back through a certian tag and found some posts that just have no context to them and i can’t remember, like damn taylor you could have put more effort into mentioning what the hell you’re talking about

but yeah i know i’m not all that active anymore, i’m more active on my remake blog but that’s also been dwindling even tho i’m still keeping up to date on what’s going on, i really have no intention of ever deleting this blog, i want it here to look back on too! if i ever feel the need to be completely done with it for some reason i’ll just figure out how to archive it, i totally get why other people have left/deactivated, if you were someone that wasn’t interested in watching the remakes it was really hard to continue being a part of the fandom which kinda sucks! but ah well

a very poorly written essay for how much i love sam motherfucking wilson below the cut

so if it wasn’t obvious from my url, icon, blog heading, and sidebar gif, i am a huge fan of the fictional character samuel thomas wilson,  who appears in the marvel comics and the marvel cinematic universe. i always appreciated sam as a character when i began watching the marvel movies, but he wasn’t my favorite for a while.

it started when i realized how much people leave him out in the fandom. i think specifically when infinity war came out, i saw so many gifsets of those who got dusted but very few included sam. it got me very upset because sam is a very lovable and enjoyable character, he is also a poc, and he deserves to be included.

and when the discourse of who will take on the cap mantle between bucky and sam, i barely saw anyone who sided with sam. don’t get me wrong, i like bucky, but he never fitted the role for me in the mcu whereas sam had never done a wrong thing. he literally dropped everything to help steve with catws, spent so much time trying to find bucky for steve, and did his best in cacw to help his team and to try and save rhodey ( but we don’t acknowledge cacw bc the r*ssos are just dumb ). to me, he deserved to take on the cap mantle because he had proven one too many times that he is not a perfect soldier, but a good man.

it got to the point where i got so annoyed and said to myself “if no one else is gonna give sam the love that he deserves, then i fucking will.” of course, it wasn’t an overnight thing, but i always promoted love to him anyway i can. 

when ae came out and we finally saw sam get the shield, i kid you not i honestly cried tears of joy because i was so fucking happy! i cheered so loud in the theater like i could not contain my excitement whatsoever. however, i noticed there was hate/slander towards sam for multiple reasons but mainly i noticed it was his race and that it wasn’t bucky who got to be cap. i was FURIOUS that i saw that shit and i actually had to blacklist “anti sam wilson” ( which i never thought i would have to do bc like there is nothing to hate about his character ). but from then on out, i basically scream at any chance i get about sam and how much i love him. 

i created memes, i made a whole sideblog dedicated to him ( bc there werent any smh ), and my entire blog has his face plastered all over it because that’s how much i love him. i jumped up and down when fatws was confirmed because he deserves so much screentime like i can just watch hours of him doing nothing and think it’s a masterpiece. 

in conclusion, i would lay down my life for him.
