What are your favorite fights from each anime iteration of Dragon Ball? (DB/Z/GT/Super etc. Yknow lol) I’m curious!
This is a good ask, anon. Just wanted to point it out.
I'm not sure how long a list I want to make for this, because if I really go nuts with this I'll probably end up covering like 75% of the fights in the franchise. But I don't want to just pick one favorite fight from each series, because that feels too short. Tell you what, let's just play it by ear and see how this goes. I won't bother ranking these, because I'm not sure I can.
OG Dragon Ball
1) Goku vs. Jackie Chun, 21st World Tournament final
2) Goku vs. Tien Shinhan, 22nd World Tournament final
3) Goku vs. Piccolo Junior, 23rd World Tournament final.
Tumblr media
We'll start with these, because they're tentpole moments for the series, and they define Goku's character arc so well. The Jackie Chun fight was pretty short, but it was really the first big fight in the franchise, and it set the tone for all the later battles to follow. What makes it work is how Chun is determined to keep Goku from winning, not for his own sake, but because he thinks Goku will lose interest in martial arts if he wins a big tournament on his first try. Chun entered as a ringer, but he finds Goku a lot harder to stop than he expected, and the match very nearly ends in a draw.
Tumblr media
So you'd think Goku would be a shoo-in at the next tournament, but he has to get through Tien for that, and Tien turns out to be extremely tough and he wants to murder Goku to avenge his master's brother. It's an awesome fight, made more awesome by the way Tien's character arc begins to overtake the action itself. He starts out wanting Goku dead, then decides he'd rather fight fair because he enjoys the competition too much.
Tumblr media
So by the time we get to the 23rd tournament, the contest itself feels like an afterthought. This is just the venue for the more important showdown between Goku and Piccolo. Except Goku still wants that World title. It means a lot to him, and no one else seems to get that. Through this whole arc, everyone is scared shitless of Piccolo, worrying that Goku might not be able to beat him. But Goku has a game plan, and he sticks to it and powers on through to victory. And yet it's still this insanely close match. I dare say this is the most even battle in the franchise, but Goku seems like an underdog to start out, and by the end of it, you see that he had things under control the whole time.
4) Goku vs. Red Ribbon Army HQ
5) Goku vs. King Piccolo
6) Goku vs. Grandpa Gohan
Tumblr media
I guess you can call these #reference fights, because when I rewatched these episodes in 2019, I noticed how much they resembled battles I've written in to my big-ass OC fanfic. Goku just charging headlong into an army base is sort of the prototype for Saiyan mayhem, and when I started writing Luffa I quickly realized that this would have to be the sort of combat she'd be used to. There's no Vegeta or Perfect Cell to tackle a thousand years ago. She's got no rival, so her best bet is to fight large armies single-handedly, as Goku does here.
Tumblr media
Likewise, I ended up inventing a lot of villains who think themselves invincible, only to get knocked on their ass when they find out how vincible they really are. King Piccolo's meltdown during this battle is a sight to behold, because once he starts losing, all he knows how to do is talk about his fearsome reputation, except it's completely hollow when the other guy is feeding you a can of whoop-ass. He just doesn't know how to process this beating, and that's always left an impression with me.
Tumblr media
Let's just say, hypothetically speaking, that you had this character who has some relation to another character, and gosh, wouldn't it be nice if they could meet and fight each other, and one of them could leap forward beyond their natural lifespan to make that happen? I dunno, maybe it'd be kind of emotional? I haven't actually written anything like that so far, but if I ever do, it'll probably resemble Goku vs. Grandpa Gohan quite a bit.
Dragon Ball Z
1) Goku vs. Vegeta
Tumblr media
I mean, what else can you say here? This one's a classic.
2) Anybody vs. Cell, pretty much.
Tumblr media
Obviously, the Goku and Gohan fights from the Cell Games are the best of the best, but Cell's entire run in DBZ is awesome, including the fights he has with Vegeta, Trunks, Android 16, Piccolo... you just can't lose. I could go on, but I don't want to get too far down this one category.
3) Pikkon vs. Goku.
Tumblr media
This one gets dunked on a lot because it's filler, but it's excellent. Just a friendly competition where everyone's dead and there's nothing at stake but bragging rights and fighting spirit. Pikkon's a brilliant opponent and Goku has to find a way to beat him, and that's really all the story you need, sometimes.
4) Goku-Vegeta II
Tumblr media
This one's a bit wonky because there's no clear-cut winner and the Buu crisis overshadows it, and it doesn't quite hold up compared to the original Goku/Vegeta fight, but it's still awesome, because of the buildup and also a lot of the intensity. It kind of functions as a coda to the Androids/Cell Saga, where both guys were Super Saiyans but they never got a chance to duke it out. As it turns out, they're so evenly matched that it kind of works against the fight. One of them does a big move, and the other one just shrugs it off like nothing happened. In a way it's kind of the opposite of the Goku/Piccolo fight. When it's a couple of Super Saiyan 2's, there's just no way for anybody to pull ahead, and ultimately their battle takes on a very tragic tone, which is awesome.
5) Majin Buu vs. Everybody in Season 9.
Okay, apparently Tumblr won't let me post any more images, but that's cool, you all know what Buu looks like. I remember flipping through an issue of Beckett DBZ Collector at the grocery in 2003 or 2004, and it did this top ten fights article, with this as #1. I just liked the sheer gall of counting the entire Fusion and Kid Buu Sagas as one big fight. But let's face it, it works. From the moment Evil Buu shows up to the Spirit Bomb finale, it's basically nonstop action for Majin Buu, as he takes on one opponent after another in a zany gauntlet. And sure, I'd probably say Vegito and SSJ3 Goku were my favorite portions of that larger battle, but it's tough to isolate any one section.
Dragon Ball GT: There were no good fights in GT.
Dragon Ball Super
1) The Tournament of Power.
I suppose this also counts as one big battle, although my absolute favorite part is when Caulifla and Kale battle Goku and he ends up using Ultra Instinct to beat them.
There's also a lot to be said for Vegeta vs. God of Destruction Toppo, and the whole endgame with Jiren against Goku, 17, and Frieza. Oh, and the part where Universe 9 gets wiped out in one episode.
For my money, Dragon Ball Super doesn't really get off the blocks until the Tournament of Power begins, which has always frustrated me about DBS. It's basically one really good run of episodes at the tail end of an otherwise lackluster series. The U6 tournament was pretty weak and the Zamasu/Goku Black saga was downright pathetic.
Movie-wise... let me see here. Mystical Adventure had some good action, Dead Zone, Cooler 1, Super Android 13, Broly 1, Fusion Reborn and Wrath of the Dragon were classics, and Battle of Gods and Super Broly had some excellent fights too.
And yeah, I think that about covers it.

Episode 115 is so lit!!!!!
again, this is for me. future reference.
topics: Goku vs Kefla, predictions
IT'S LIT
IT IS SO DAMN LIT
Tumblr media
First off, I'm glad they addressed the whole potara earrings thing. Thank you zen-oh chan. Second, I love how the Gods were all split on what to do, and one of the Gods actually tried to do it as well, but her fighters were incompetent as hell. Also... Fused 17 and 18????? Uh.... YES.
Let me talk about the Androids real quick. They have to have something big about to happen, right? Before I predicted that 17 might lend Goku energy, but that won't happen anymore cause anime logic. I think 17 really is gonna do something major, and I also love the sibling interactions between 18 and 17. She's like, "fuck off me 17" and he's like "im not even on you tho." IT'S LIT
Alright, now. Kefla is so damn cool. One thing I don't like with fusions is that for the most part there's a dominant personality, but with this case I'm so glad that Caulifla took the dominant personality. Kefla is so fun. Please add her to Xenoverse 2 and 3. Please have her on Dragon Ball FighterZ. Please, please, please. She's stronger than a weakened Kaioken Blue Goku which is pretty impressive. Admittedly, I didn't think she could be that strong. But Goku is weakened, and the episode made it a POINT that Goku is very weak at the moment. Still impressive. She hit him and knocked his ass out.
And then Goku got up, and said not yet. AND I STARTED GOING NUTS. I started repeating to myself "hes going instinct hes going instinct hes going instinct" AND HE WENT ULTRA INSTINT AND IT. WAS. LIT!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
I see NO way that Kefla is going to even HANG with Goku. He is going to DESTROY HER. Mind you I was on Kefla's side at the beginning of this episode. Right when Kefla went Super Saiyan I got up and was lit, and yelling "BEAT HIS ASS." Now, I'm all rooting for Goku to whoop Kefla's ass. I fucking love this arc so much. Future me: watch this episode over and over again when this series is over.
This series has provided us with so many great fights. Goku is gonna whoop on Kefla. It's lit.
predictions:
Man, I don't even know. I think Piccolo is gonna get eliminated soon probably. He looks a bit outclassed by the other Namekians. Maybe I was wrong when I called them weak when they first showed up. I know that before they showed up I predicted they were gonna eliminate Piccolo and Gohan was gonna avenge him, so maybe that does end up happening.
Again, no idea what is gonna happen with the Androids. I FEEL like something big is going to happen, but no idea. Fusion? Are they going to fuse? Is it going to be.... lit?
Frieza out here creeping. Still think Frieza is gonna torture someone. I hope he tortures Dispo. Also, what happened to Rebrianne and her squad? They're all chilling. I think Frieza will also knock them out since dude hates all that love stuff. Frieza! Quit creepin!
Vegeta vs Toppo is making reconsider the idea of Vegeta hiding some secret powers. Dude is having problems with Toppo, and he should be winning their fight if he did know how to do something. Dude is out here struggling. Vegeta is a struggle-saiyan smh.
I don't think Goku keeps Instinct this time again. After his fight with Kefla he may need to get some stamina back. I also love how Beerus was all mad, and then got brave like "OH OK THEN. WHAT'S GOOD THEN, GOKU?" You know that Beerus wants to fight Goku in that form. YOU KNOW HE DOES. BEERUS VS GOKU THE REMATCH HAPPENING AFTER THIS ARC. IT IS LIT
I think this is it for Kefla. It's over. I'd be surprised if she goes another level such as SSJ3, legendary, ect. She's out of the tournament.  And with that it leaves Gohan having to eliminate universe 6. I really thought Universe 6 might have had a chance to win this, but I don't see it happening anymore. It's over. I also don't think Jiren will get out of his meditation yet. He won't awaken on his own. He's gonna be forced out of his mediation, or someone is gonna run up on ol' boy. He feels the ki, but he aint phased.
I think I’m just gonna start recording my live reactions.

Dragon Ball Super #122
Tumblr media
Whenever I look at these posts on my phone, it shows me “recommended” posts from earlier in my blog, usually stuff with the same tags, so whenever I write about a new episode of DBS, I see all these older posts where I wrote about older episodes.   What amazes me is how much I despised those older episodes, because these Tournament of Power eps are really kicking ass.
This is just a hot take, but maybe it turns out that Dragon Ball characters are best suited for fighting, and if you have a bunch of them slug it out for thirty straight episodes, it makes up for other production shortcomings.   All those people rushing to the defense of episode 5 missed the point.   We all knew that DBZ had similar quality issues.   The reason everyone was picking on the SSJ3  Goku vs. Beerus scene was because we’d already seen it before in Movie 14, and doing it again only highlighted the drop in quality.   If Trunks had spent more time fighting and less time talking, no one would have cared what color his hair was, or who’s kissing whom.  Instead, they wasted the whole arc trying to explain how alternate timelines and kais work, and that’s not what anyone wanted to see.
The U6 vs. U7 tournament might have gotten it right, except they held back too much.   U7 didn’t even deliver a full roster, and U6 was sorely outclassed, leading to a tournament full of mismatches, non-fights, and bickering over the rules.  I remember that I used to dread the Tournament of Power, because I thought it would just be a bigger, more complicated version of U6 vs. U7, but thankfully they got it right.  And it looks like the home stretch is going to be just as good as what we’ve seen so far.  Spoilers under the cut.
I was wondering how they’d pair off for a five-on-three battle, and I’m satisfied with the results.  Frieza vs. Dyspo is a fresh matchup, and it showcases each guy’s fighting style.   Dyspo is sticking to hit and run tactics, while Frieza isn’t using his Golden form yet.    I would assume that Frieza has the advantage here, even though Dyspo seems to be winning right now.    He’s just keeping Dyspo busy while his teammates handle the other two.   If the others have trouble, Frieza can go Golden and tackle Dyspo for real, but for now Frieza can afford to wait and see.
The irony is that Dyspo may be the fastest being in all the universes, but he’s wasting time.   Frieza doesn’t need to beat Dyspo because his team is ahead, but Dyspo desperately needs to eliminate Frieza so he can even the odds give Toppo a hand.  I don’t know if Dyspo understands that or not.   It may be that he realizes he can’t beat Golden Frieza, so he’s purposely distracting Frieza to keep him from going on the offensive.
It makes sense to put 17 and Gohan against Toppo.  A while back I was saying that I wasn’ sure whether 17 or Gohan is the weakest member of the team, but I’m reasonably sure they’re the 4th and 5th strongest out of who we have left.   If they’re working together, the exact order is unimportant.
The only question now is how much weaker they are than Goku or Vegeta, since Toppo was able to hold his own against each of them.    If they’re pretty close, then this should go smoothly, since Toppo would get crushed if Goku and Vegeta double-teamed him.   But so far it looks like Gohan and 17 working together isn’t enough to stop Toppo.   Maybe they haven’t gone all out yet, or maybe Toppo’s the one who’s been holding back this whole time.  Again, like Dyspo, he may just be keeping Gohan and 17 occupied until one of the other Pride Troopers can create an opening.
It’s also possible that Gohan and 17 aren’t quite the well-oiled machine they need to be to successfully double-team somebody.   This is the first time they’ve  interacted since History of Trunks, and that was an alternate future version, so these two really don’t know each other that well.  Maybe if Piccolo or 18 were still around instead, Toppo would already be finished.
That leaves Goku and Vegeta against Jiren, which I’m enjoying more than I thought I would.   They’re not double-teaming him so much as fighting over which one of them gets to take Jiren on solo.   Goku got his clock cleaned, and now Vegeta seems to be taking point, and doing better against Jiren than anyone gave him credit for.
So far, my analysis of Jiren is that he’s more interested in his private agenda than in winning the tournament.    He’s like Goku in that sense, except that while Goku is trying to enjoy himself by giving his opponents time to reach their full power, I feel like Jiren has something much darker going on in his head.   Not necessarily evil, but he’s had several chances to toss Goku and Vegeta off the stage, and he’s not using them.   It’s like he’s goading them to try harder, either because he wants a better fight, or because he’s trying to break their spirits, or some other reason that doesn’t translate into the objective of the game.  He kind of reminds me of Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho, where his ultimate goal basically came down to finding someone who could give him a worthy death.  I don’t know if that’s what Jiren is really after, but it could be.
Anyway, Vegeta’s stepping up to the plate.    I’ll be honest, I enjoy Vegeta unironically.   I would like to see him utterly crush a major adversary in a big important battle, though I accept that this probably isn’t going to happen any time soon, especially while Goku’s right over there.   My hope for this tournament was that Vegeta would get his hero moment against Toppo, since Toppo is strong enough to be a threat with or without Jiren on the board.  Taking out Toppo would be a big feather in Vegeta’s cap, and it would clear the field for Goku to have his climactic showdown with Jiren.
But that idea ignores Vegeta’s Saiyan Pride(tm).  The idea that he should square off against Jiren’s sidekick is insulting to him.  He wants the big dog, specifically because the big dog whipped Goku like it was no big deal.   In this sense, Jiren reminds me a lot of all the movie villains Goku and Vegeta tried to tackle together, like Meta Cooler, Super 13, and Janemba.  They’d rather do it solo, but they can’t, and they’re too impatient to take turns anyway.
The important thing here is that they’re not just having Jiren destroy Vegeta like a jobber, the way Beerus did in Movie 14, or Hirudegarn in Movie 13, or Janemba in Movie 12.  Or Super Buu.   Or Hit.   Or... look you get the idea, okay?   It’s kind of fun watching Vegeta get massacred because he bit off more than he could chew, but this isn’t the time or place for that.   The whole point of putting Vegeta in this tournament was because he was about as strong as Goku, and if he can’t pull his weight in the endgame, then there was no point keeping him on the stage or this long.  Jiren already demonstrated his superiority by dominating Goku and eliminating Hit.    Having him effortlessly defeat Vegeta would be redundant now.
It’s a lot more fun to have Vegeta play the spoiler, like he did against Semi-Perfect Cell and Android 19 and Kid Buu.   Jiren may think he can godmode his way through this tournament, but Vegeta’s going to make him work for it.  He probably won’t beat Jiren, but he’ll make you wonder for a while.
I don’t know what the deal is with Vegeta’s power increases in this episode or the next one, but we need things like that to keep Vegeta relevant in that role, or else he’d just fall so far behind Goku that there’d be no role for him in the story.  If he’s not going to learn Ultra Instinct, we need to see what Vegeta will do instead.   Maybe that’s a new technique, or a new transformation, or maybe we’ll just see an exploration of strengths Vegeta has been relying on all along.   For all of Jiren’s power, Vegeta was still able to quickly analyze his attack and devise a counter.   Things like that are how he’s been able to hold out in all those hopeless battles he’s been in.
I’m mildly disappointed that he used the exact same trick he used against Perfect Cell in DBZ, goading him into taking a Final Flash at pointblank range, then getting demolished when it doesn’t work.   And I feel like they’re sort of setting up a similar reprise of Vegeta getting up again to challenge Kid Buu.  Callbacks are fine, but I want to see something new.    On the other hand, I get the sense that they’re only using these chesnuts in order to get them out of the way for the real meat of Vegeta’s offensive.  He powered up and hit Jiren with his best shot, he’ll take Jiren’s beatdown and get back up for more... and then something.   Hopefully something worth the buildup, or they might as well have had Frost eliminate Vegeta a dozen episodes back.
There’s eight minutes left, and Episode 122 was one minute long (yeah, I know), so maybe this arc has eight more episodes to go.  That would be kind of nice, since they could devote a couple more to Vegeta’s efforts and still have plenty of time for Goku’s big finale.  I’m feeling pretty confident that whatever happens from here will be good stuff.

Alright, so let’s talk DBS episodes 109 and 110. I want to talk about the absurdity of Jiren, about the Limit Breaker, and also about the next big fights.
It's a long read, so don't read it. It's mainly for myself.
It's a long read, so don't read it. It's mainly for myself.
ok so first off, Jiren is way too OP. Not fair. I mean, I get the point of his character, but I am a bit strained over this same type of villain/character. The character with the power that is the most powerful someone can be. Cell was this perfect being that no one could match. Then Buu was supposed to be the strongest person in the universe that no one could match. Beerus is a God of Destruction, and again no one could match. All three of these guys make sense in terms of world building. I'm not completely sure how Gero could manifest someone as strong as Cell (I think it has to do with gene splicing all the DNA from everyone but IDK, IDC and/or remember), but both Beerus and Buu make perfect sense since the universe is so vast.
Hit makes sense. The best fighter in universe 6. Obviously, he'd rival Goku. Even Black made sense. You get a Kai, you put his power into Goku's body. God ki with Goku's power. It makes sense. Sure, I probably got a little tired of the fact that Fused Zamasu existed, and he seemed literally impossible to beat after Vegito failed. But I got over it... sort of lol. (Ok not over it cause I hate that ending lol)
ok Idk where I'm going with this. It's just that JIREN MAN WHAT THE FUCK. How is some that is unfused and a mortal that strong?? Like we got Goku having to learn new techniques out his ass in order to even compete with Jiren and he still lost (totally called that last week btw.)
It's just... just how strong do these guys need to be, Akira!? Where do we go from here? Like, this show always puts me in a suspension of disbelief when seeing transformations like SSJ, or Gohan ascending SSJ, or even SSJ3. Like when watching those transformations I'm always like wtf how, Sway? But after thinking about it... it just makes sense. And by making sense I mean both by the power of the transformation and how it came about. It's just now with Jiren, his power just doesn't make sense, and I also can't make sense of how he became so strong. Surely, it'll be explained in one of the next few episodes obviously. I believe one of the God's touched upon it for a little, but it was only a few words and not much. There's obviously a reason why he's so strong that hasn't been explained yet, but...
The extent to how strong he is... I can't make sense of it at the moment. This dude was just STARING at the Spirit Bomb, and it did NOTHING to him. This dude took a punch from Goku at his LIMIT and it did NOTHING to him. Exactly how strong is he, and how strong must someone be to beat him? I. Can't. Make. Sense. Of. It. And I don't know how anyone can beat him.
Freiza -> Become a legendary Super Saiyan Perfect Cell -> Rage pass a legendary Super Saiyan Buu -> Spirit Bomb his ass to hell as a SSJ3 Beerus -> Super Saiyan God ritual Golden Frieza -> Didn't master his own form Hit -> Super Saiyan Blue with God Ki control + Kaioken Fused Zamasu -> So broken and OP that you need the Lord of Lords AKA (deus ex machina) Jiren -> Absorbed Spirt Bomb plus Ultra Instinct.... doesn't work??
Goku already used a spirit bomb. He already done unlocked a new form/technique. He can't fuse. What is there left for Goku or anyone to do? Is he gonna unlock another form? And yeah I get that this is the fun part about Super. Always trying to guess stuff. I remember after BotG I was tripping over the fact that there were several other universes with several other God's of Destruction with also several other strong people, but I would never expect some shit like this. I never thought we would even see any of them. Just that they existed.
The ONLY person I remember being this unstoppable for the first time was Buuhan, but even then you could see that Goku had to fuse with someone in order to beat Buu. but with Jiren... what the fuck can anyone do? Not like Goku can just hakai his ass. I can't... for the life of me figure out a way to beat him one on one. It has to be some group effort type shit. It has to be. And at this point I'm not convinced Goku will beat Jiren.
Alright that was a long as talk about Jiren. Mind you, I don't hate the arc. I'm patiently waiting to see what happens
Second: Ultra Instinct is dope, and also I feel dumb because it could have been easily predicted through foreshadowing. Toriyama likes doing these things where he mentions one thing in a past arc or episode and then it ends up happening. Obviously, being able to move without thinking was going to be something Goku was going to do eventually, and the Limit Breaker transformation is obviously it. I noticed it almost immediately the moment Goku slung his ass at Jiren and did a shooting star press for no reason.
In my eyes it seems like Limit Breaker isn't really a transformation like super saiyan, but more like a kaioken. Essentially, it's a technique. Still, it's obviously really powerful when used by Goku. The way I see it is that it's a combination of three things. Learning Ultra Instinct, absorbing the power of the Spirit Bomb, and also the mixture of his own power. So, it's not another saiyan transformation... I THINK. It's more of the power of a God rather than a saiyan. So like.. say if Krillin won the tournament of power and wished to have the power of a God then in theory he could possibly learn Ultra Instinct through sheer will power to live such as Goku did. If that makes sense. You need to have supreme power like a god, and sort of hit your limit, but exceed pass it using your will power.
But it'll probably only be Goku using technique and I doubt anyone else ever does the "Limit Breaker." I do think Goku will master this Ultra Instinct and use it again to fight Jiren, but I have no idea if he will be as powerful as he was the first time. Unless of course Goku does some "absorb the power and retain it even after it's gone" bullshit again lol.
Third, the future fights.
Universe 2 -> 5 fighters left. Universe 3 -> 6 fighters left Universe 4 -> 4 fighters left. 2 invisible Universe 6 -> 6 fighters left. Hit, 3 saiyans, 2 namekians Universe 7 -> 7 fighters left. Universe 11 -> 3 fighters left. Dispo, Toppo, and LolJiren
Alright, so Hit vs Jiren has me lowkey hyped. I think Hit is gonna get his ass whooped in the end, but at the same time I do think Hit will get some good punches on Jiren using newer techniques that we haven't seen yet. I hate to say it.. last week I was thinking that Hit might be the one to eliminate Jiren because I thought Jiren was going to eliminate Goku, but with Goku still around and Jiren not looking tired AT ALL then I think Hit is going to be eliminated. Y'know, I thought Hit or Vegeta were gonna beat up some leftovers, but Jiren still looks undamaged. GG Hit. Sorry universe 6. I don't see the three remaining saiyans being able to do anything. I could see all four attacking Jiren at the same time, but probably not since it might mean their defeat and elimination. I know the love of my life Caulifla aint gonna go out like no bitch though. I fucking love that girl. Bae as fuck. She's my everything.
I want Vegeta to eliminate that thing like right NOW. Please Vegeta... I can't stand that character. Vegeta has no time to spare dealing with that garbage knowing that Jiren is out there fucking shit up. Also, IDC if Vegeta didn't lend Goku some of his power. Don't care. That universe still has a good amount of fighters left though, so I'm not convinced Brianne is the strongest person from the universe. Just the most loved.
Gohan, Piccolo, 17, and 18 are also still out there. I believe they have to have a big fight coming up. Not sure who the Androids are going to fight. Most likely some universe 2 or 3 fighters. Actually, definitely one of those universes. Whichever universe has the one with androids. I know one of them has androids. Android vs Android which also brings me to namekian vs namekian. Piccolo is obviously going to fight one of his Namekian counterparts from Universe 6. (there's two???) If he loses then obviously Gohan is gonna whoop that guy's ass. I don't see why Piccolo should win or beat both Namekians. You know what would really be cool? If prior to the tournament Champa went to his version of planet Namek to seek out a strong warrior like Piccolo, and then a bunch of strong Namekians fused together to form a strong being like KaPicaNail. Lol. That would be a dope fight though I doubt either Namekian stacked a bunch of fusions.
Also, I guess Gohan could end up fighting Toppo or Dispo. They need to be eliminated as well. I don't know who else other than Vegeta can eliminate them. Don't think anyone in U6 can eliminate them aside from Hit, and there is too much unknown from the other remaining universes.
Finally, Goku VS Frieza.... we all saw that ending. And..... they're not going to fight. Goku instant transmissioned to Frieza for a reason, and Frieza is just being a dick because that's who he is. He's not going to hurt Goku or fight him. Idk what Goku could possibly want from Frieza, but it should be an interesting development. Probably just gonna ask Frieza to defend him while Goku tries to regain his energy back. That would be a way for Goku to jump back into the tournament near the end of it so we can see the other characters do shit. There's still like 30 people left.

Episodes 113 and 114
topics: extent to Kale and Caulifla’s powers, is the show following the rules, and predictions.
So, I didn’t make one of these for last week. I was doing it, but then everything got deleted so I didn’t feel like doing it anymore. It was basically about how strong both the saiyan women are, and if it makes sense. I believe my only gripe with the episode is that Goku was fighting in his base level against Caulfila. I felt like he should have been at least SSJ, and do a callback to the Cell games where he mastered the form to not use too much stamina/energy. Other than that I’m perfectly fine with the power of both Kale and Caulifla.
I love Caulifla.
So, I’m alright with the idea of her going SSJ3 which was the premise of episode 113. The premise of episode 114 was them working together to beat Goku, so I’ll be on E113 really quick. Caulifla going SSJ3 is cool to me, but I hope she learns how to do it in the next arc. I think at this point the odds of one of the next arcs will be the universe 7 saiyans going to universe 6 Sadala. I was hoping there Caulifla would learn how to do SSJ3. Now, after that I don’t know if I’m ok with them reaching God or Blue. That part sort of weirds me out a bit. I feel like it’s too much, but the universe 6 saiyans have a load of potential.
Caulfila obviously takes after both Goku and Vegeta in which she’s a genius since she had the least resistance in turning both SSJ1 and 2. So, I can see Caulifla pulling out a blue or God, but the other two I can’t. Caulifla is obviously being touted as this genious, but I’m not sure if I want to see her as Blue or God because it takes out the appeal of it.
Now onto E114. So, I got spoiled on this on instagram. It sucks that I got spoiled on it, but it’s whatever. I don’t watch any of the episode previews. Kefla is very cool from what little i’ve seen. She’s so strong it’s kind of ridiculous. In her base form she is taking care of a (weakened) Super Saiyan God Goku. Obviously, it was only a few blows so Goku could bounce back in the next episode, but Kefla truly shows the power of a FUSED being. It really makes you wonder how strong Vegito Blue and Fused Zamasu were. I know a lot of people were saying that Ultra Instinct Goku and Jiren are stronger than Vegito Blue, but I honestly can’t tell. Though to be fair, this is a weakened Goku and he’s not in his Blue form. But Kefla is also weaker than Vegito and she’s in her base form…. so….
I think Super Kefla or SSJ2 Kefla is going to look awesome, and I think Jiren is going to step in to fight her. That will be a tremendous battle if it does happen. But one thing, aren’t the potaras illegal? If she can use the potaras then wouldn’t Goku be able to use a senzu bean? I don’t think the show is really following the rules here, so I’m hoping it’s addressed in the next episode.
Predictions: Super Kelfa at the end of next episode probably. We MIGHT even see a SSJ3 Kelfa, but who knows? I think Jiren definitely has to do something about this because at the moment Kelfa looks way too powerful to be left alone to anybody else. I do expect Jiren to awaken sooner or later.
I hate how they’re not showing Vegeta vs Toppo. Vegeta was fighting Cabba earlier too, and they didn’t show anything. I feel like they’re going to do the same thing here again which is lame. We want to see Vegeta vs Toppo!! Also side note: Is Vegeta really the strongest nonfused Saiyan in the tournament right now? Vegeta has been very confident so far in the tournament. Is it possible that he knows how to do Ultra Instinct or has done it before? Didn’t he use the room of spirit and time right before the tournament started? Maybe he learned something, and he’s hiding it. I mean he did go straight to fight Jiren even after seeing Goku lose after using Ultra Instinct. Maybe Vegeta did it once, but doesn’t know how to do it again. Hmm.
But Frieza vs Dispo, Vegeta vs Toppo, and Jiren vs Kelfa are two fights I see happening. I think Kefla beats a tired Goku. Might even see Kefla whoop the crao out of frieza lol. Kefla has areal chance of knocking Goku out the tournament honestly. We’re getting some really good (and quick) fights in this tournament so far. 21 minutes to go! 10 or 15 more episodes? I’m sticking with episode 125 being the last episode of this arc.
