Can I request a Ghirahim x reader? Where the reader is into magic and witchcraft, which results in them being ostracized by the other Hylians bc it's considered "evil". With or without smut.
Outsider S/o HCs (Ghirahim)
𝗔/𝗡: 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗺! 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁!
𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚? ⇒ 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩
𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧?
𝙗𝙪𝙮 𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚?
Immediately he’s like entranced with you
(talking like,,, literally follow you around, always trying to talk to you, leaving convenient magic items and ritual/potions materials at your door type obsessed)
And he’s literally a stranger as well so naturally, you’re freaked the fuck out
Especially bc, hello??
Nobody likes you except for some powerful freak
You’re shit out of luck if he tries to kidnap you or something
But eventually, he wins you over and breaks down your walls enough to get you to at least speak to him
And you find out that his intentions actually pretty innocent (well, as innocent as they can be with him LMAO)
After a while of singing his own praises over lunch, he finally does tell you how attractive he finds you
However, what truly drew him in was the power that you hold, your love for magic, and your spirit
The two of you get connected and starting hanging out more and naturally, you become his favorite person in entirety of the world <3
And his SO eventually bc no way he was gonna let you be single if he can help it
So there’s no need to feel so lonely or ostractived anymore
Ghirahim and already one he commands is more than willingly to accept you for who you are
BUT NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO BE TOO ACCEPTING (you’re his after all HAHAH)

🪶🪶Lesson 10: Believe in the Boy 🪶🪶
Each ripple of seismic quaking beneath your feet was nowhere near as lethal as the rumbling of insults that were currently cascading from your lips.
Your hand continued to jangle a knob that jutted out and was adorned with a grip of decorated grooves meant to fit your fingers. The more you tinkered with it, the more you felt anger laced with panic regurgitate in your throat. Were you wrong to assume this was the launch lever of this apparatus?
But you knew Groose; you had grown up with him after all. Whatever made sense to most likely be the launch lever was most definitely not the launch lever. When another minute went by without any result, you yelled into the empty chasm of spiraling hills. You stomped around and stuck your head into the machine's barrel, the wind from your own voice slapping you in the face as it echoed back at you. The heavy rock you had stuck into the barrel remained secure, nestled so tight that not even the force of the earth's crust convulsing was moving it.
"GRRR Groose! When I get my hands on you-"
But your screams of aggravation were subdued compared to the howling of the old pinecone.
Ugh. Impa. Link would want me to help her. But how?
Around you, cannons of wind spiraled upward from below, and with them, an idea was shot in your general direction. You slid off your Skyloftian tunic, standing in nothing but a billowy undershirt and your knight pants. You ran toward the precipice of the level you were on and jumped toward the air current, your hands gripping securely around each sleeve of your tunic.
The risk was great, but you couldn't stand idly by as the old hag continued to screech. You weren't a mighty hero, but you were still a knight. And even if Skyloft no longer had need of a knight, who was to say the surface didn't?
Did this evil, the imprisoned, somehow lead you to fall into your own destiny?
You slowly backed up until your back hit a mound of congealed soil, the plateau of the next tier. You took a deep breath and, with a calm mind and knees bent, blasted yourself into a running start and leapt into the closest gust of barreling air. The fury of the gale was something you had underestimated, as the air propelled you upward, but not without slicing up some of your flesh. You bit your bottom lip, relieved to see your tunic puff out, and it began to parasail you away from the current and toward the center of the chasm. As you descended downward, you frantically scanned each tier of spiraling land for any sight of Impa.
But it wasn't Impa you spotted first.
Beneath you, almost as inconspicuous as the soil, a gargantuan entity began to move.
And you were falling straight toward it.
Your mouth fell faster than your floating body as you looked at the monster that was sprouting through the ground. Layers of grimy scales coated its body, and the light reflecting off of them gave the illusion of movement, as if it were covered in millions of worms. This was nothing compared to the alarming number of teeth protruding from its gums. Its long-fossilized fingernails sprung from the pads of its colossal feet as it kneaded at the mess of decaying dirt encircling its body. From where it broke forth, the stone column that had been in that part of the ground now sat lodged at the top of its skull.
"EEEK! No, no, nooooo!" You began to flail your body, hoping to guide yourself toward another of the powerful and abundant zephyrs scattered about.
But as it goes, Hylia had other plans.
"EEEKKKK NOOO! I'm sorry I laughed at the remlit joke! I won't do it again- ahhh!"
From one of the many coiled layers of land, Impa's voice rang out. "Brainless Sky child! Why didn't you stay put!"
"You ungrateful old pinecone! I was coming to save you!"
"Nonsense! I told you the hero would come!"
Link. He won't come. He has to keep his goddess safe. Is this thing what he was going on about? Is this... the imprisoned?
Before another thought could come to you, your body crashed down on top of its head. The impact of your landing forced your knees to bend and crumple. You began to slide backward off of its slick scales. But not before managing to catch the stone pillar on top of its head, your tunic somehow was tangled around it as you hung from your sleeves.
"EEEEE!"
Like a flea on a remit, it began to shake its head in an attempt to buck you off. As you whirled through the air, the verdancy of the grass and the singed sienna of the dirt began to bleed into a nauseating swirl of puke inducing bile-colored tie- dye.
Your hands began to slip as you felt vertigo take over.
"AHHHH!"
You could hear Impa praying in consistent chants. "Hylia, help her."
But she wasn't going to help you. You were the collateral to lead Link back down to the surface to destroy this beast for Zelda. Beyond that, you were an obstruction to the divine love story between a hero and his goddess.
She had no reason to save you.
But Link, you may not have been Zelda, but at the very least he considered you, his friend.
Even if you hadn't been much of a friend to him these past few years.
Between life and death, there was nothing more left for you than to believe in a boy you once called friend.
As you felt yourself begin to slip, your vision blurred by the array of temporal colors whisking together, your hands slowly released their grip from the sleeves of your tunic.
The feeling of fabric within your grasp was replaced with the texture of human flesh instead.
"Y/N!"
Link pulled you up, anchoring your body against his with a strong arm around your waist. The possession of dizziness made it hard to focus on his face; the green of his tunic seemed to weep into the vestiges of the grass and dirt that had been whipping around you. When the vertigo began to ease up, you looked up at him, your head buried in his neck as he held you against him. Your eyes caught the glint of a sword. One you had never seen before.
"HYAH!" You could hear the creature beneath you cry out; Link's sword bulging from the stone pillar in its skull.
"Hold onto me. Don't let me go." His voice was a comforting sedative to the anxiety of looming death that had just controlled you.
You obeyed without a single retort. You held onto his waist as you both fluttered down to the ground.
You landed on your feet first, falling over, only to be scooped up by Link's arms.
"This isn't over. Stay here." And just like that, the tranquility in his voice was replaced by a burning husk of rage.
You watched as he ran away toward an air current, allowing it to shoot him upward back on top of the imprisoned's head to finish the job he started.
The job he would always have to finish for as long as he existed.
Your fingernails dug into the soil your sore body rested on, as your head weakly hung. But your eyes couldn't help but remain upward, following Link and his fancy footwork. Every grunt, every bead of sweat, and every swing of that blade was that of a hero. He was no longer the Link you knew. In fact, you realized now that you never knew him well at all.
The Link you had thought you had known, the feeble little dork of a boy who struggled in Eagus's dojo, was schooling the ultimate of evils right before your very eyes.
And for some reason it made your heart rush.
But the next part—the next part—is what made you wonder if, in fact, you were, if not dead, dying and your brain was being deprived of oxygen. Certainly, it had to explain the high level of emotion you were feeling toward Link in that moment.
Because around him, swishes of lavendar and navy. You scrunched your eyes closed, hoping it was just another dizzy spell.
But then you heard a voice beckoning him.
"MASTER!"
Before you knew it, Link grabbed you and pulled you into his chest as the creature began to writhe in agony. You saw another whimsical blur of the same colors that surrounded him like a spectral aura. Droplets of Link's sweat streamed down his face and pelted your own. You could feel his chest rise and fall, each breath a satisfactory heave of his deft skill.
"Y/N... close your eyes. Don't look at it. I don't want you to see something so evil." Link's voice came out in labored whispers. His fingers trailed circles on the small of your back as he held on to you, as if you had just witnessed a nightmare and he wanted to put you back to sleep.
Then a soft, seeping tone of remorse hit your ear. "I want to preserve your innocence from this for as long as I can."
Link...?
You kept your eyes shut, but even beneath the umbrage of closed lids, it wasn't enough to block out the forcefield of evil. Ink drops of violets and reds—specks of black darker than your own closed eyes—rotated around, threatening to swallow your very soul. The wind wailed, as if it were crying in anguish that it was being repelled and embedded beneath the tomb of soil with this creature.
Then you saw flashes of light. Through squinted eyes, you observed a circular crest carved into the ground begin to flicker. The seal instantly ushered in the unfamiliar, robotic voice from earlier to speak again.
"Master... you must use your skyward seal."
Link released you from his stronghold and walked over toward the center of the seal, where the stone column now stood back in its rightful place in the ground. He raised his sword, and a procession of light flitted down the shaft. Link's soaked, dark blonde locks swayed in tandem with the rhythm of malevolence being retracted back from where it came.
Then you saw an orb jump forth from his blade. An ethereal twinkle of a girl without a face, levitated by his side. Despite not having a face, you could feel her; she was watching you. And just as quickly as she appeared, whispers of the same amalgamation of blue and purple condensed back into Link's sword.
From the form of Link's strong back, you saw his head slowly turn to meet your frightened gaze.
"L-L-Link, there's a g-g-ghost in your sword..."
The sound of his exhale told you he knew he owed you an explanation. It also told you he knew whatever he was about to disclose was only going to deepen the hero plot to a ridiculous and incredulous length.
"Y/N... what you just saw was the imprisoned. And this... is Fi... she is the spirit of my sword."
He turned back to the task at hand, striking his sword downward. Not bothering to elaborate any further.
As if all heroes had phantom women living in their swords.

Link from Skyloft— or Sky, as he had been designated in the group— was many things.
He was the second wielder of the Master Sword, the first Skyloftian to explore the surface, and someone many looked up to.
He was not, however, in any capacity, confident when it came to romance.
The only thing that he seemed to be able to articulate was “I’m sorry,” with the way he rambled it on and on. The plush material of his pants became dirtier and dirtier as he scrambled to pick up the rupees.
“You’re fine, it's fine,” you repeatedly respond. Lowering yourself to your knees rather than the violent way he dropped, you assist him in collecting everything in your wallet. “I needed to do a recount either way.”
Sky knows his face would be flushed if he were any paler; thankful that generations’ worth of almost unfiltered sun exposure. He takes what he gathered and unceremoniously dumps them back in your wallet, some of which manage to slip back onto the floor to his displeasure. “No!” He didn’t mean to hiss. “No, no! It’s my fault!”
You lean away, allowing Sky to take over the collection of your rupees. A brief look up reveals to him that you were biting back an affectionate smile. “I’ll tell you what,” you start, hands closing around his when he dumps his next handful of rupees into your wallet.
Averting his eyes while making a noncommittal hum, Sky returns to his task.
“The next time the old man has us go to the market, you treat me somewhere— or to something, yeah?”
Sky tosses the idea around in his mind. “‘kay,” he hums with a grin he was less inclined to hide. His hands had finally gathered the last handful of rupees that had escaped your pouch. “It's a date then.”
You laugh as you stand, offering a hand to him once you're steady on your feet. “A date it is,” you respond in an equally amused voice, eyes scrunching with delight before you press a kiss to his cheek, rejoining the group of Links who had gradually slowed their pace.
Sky, in no way, was confident in his skills when it came to romance; but he had to admit he did have his moments.

“I told him you are my chosen hero,” Zelda said quietly, and the weight of her gaze on him was magnetic. They were getting closer and closer to each other. “You are my best friend. LUtober day 14: Mini-games

Day 7 (You are here)

“So I just… fall forward?”
Sky laughed. “Fall and tuck yourself into a ball—that part’s important, or you’ll fall on your face. Like this.” Sky demonstrated a forward roll, earning a round of applause from Wild.
“Okay, I think I get it.” Despite their words, it took Wild a few attempts to manage to roll properly, and several more to perfect the technique.
“There you go, you’re getting it!” Sky praised them. “Now come on! I want to show you this fun game of mine.”
Wild jumped up, eyes alight with excitement. First, Sky had taught them to roll, something that had separated them from the others, and now Sky was going to show them one of his favourite ‘mini-games,’ as he had called it. What better way to finish of Hallowed Week?
Sky walked them into Sayge’s dye shop, pausing to stand with his hands on his hips, appraising the shelves laden with glass bottles of dye.
Sayge called from the back, “Just a moment! I’m in the middle of mixing something.”
Busy perusing the bottles, Wild missed the menacing smirk that overtook Sky’s features, before it was whisked away. “So what do we do?” Wild asked, turning back to their friend.
“Oh this part is easy. I’ve played this game all over Skyloft, so it’ll be nice to try it somewhere new. All you have to do is roll into the wall.”
“The wall? Won’t that hurt?”
“No, no. It’s part of the game, and it never hurts. Trust me.”
Wild nodded slowly. “Okay…”
“That wall looks perfect! The best part is the prize—I always get dozens of rupees.”
Wild brightened. Their wallet had been light as of late. “Okay, here I go!” Without a second thought, they rolled into the wall.
And dozens of glass bottles rained down on and around them, shattering on the ground and spilling their contents everywhere. “Ow… Sky, I think—”
Wild blinked. Sky was gone.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” Sayge screamed, and Wild turned to him, eyes wide as they realised what had happened.
“Sky, you traitor!”

Loz headcanon I will defend to my dying breath:
Links soul gets reincarnated, right? He's the only soul that does that, weird doppelganger shopkeepers notwithstanding because they never remember anything. Not even zelda reincarnates, her legacy is her bloodline and it's magic. Ganon turned up after hylians has come to the surface.
His soul bonds carry over, as we see with the master sword. She can identify him no matter how many eons pass. The triforce is never with anyone but link.
Now loftwings were said to be soul bound to their rider, right? They come during a ceremony at the foot of the goddess statue and live with their rider for the rest of their lives, able to come when called over vast distances.
Now links loftwing that goes unnamed in canon (linked universe chose the name Crimson) is a very unusual bird. Zelda goes out of her way to talk about the exceptionally rare red colouring and how loyal and feisty it is.
Gee, I say, a uniquely red with white mount that is incredibly feisty and loyal to link known to ride like the wind, able to come to him across any distance, that seems to almost reincarnate alongside him whenever possible.
Link's loftwing was called epona and she's followed him through life and death to stay by his side.
#loz#legend of zelda#I mean it's hardly subtle it just means a lot to me ToT#Especially with the lu use of crimson filtering down into most ss fanfic#Again I get why joja did that (enhancing the differences and making it easier to reference) and it is a fitting name#But epona has my heart and you can't tell me that isn't her#loz epona#epona#zelda#tloz#loz ss#loz skyward sword#I was so happy to get her in totk I've had the amiibo for ages but by then my botw stable was full and I never had the heart to release one#And then totk gave me more slots and I IMMEDIATELY went amiibo hunting around the house XD.#She's my dearest sweet horsie I wish I could have given her apples in other games 😔#Absolutely fearless she was not born a prey animal and she knows it XD.

oki so hear me out…. (all legend of zelda btw)
i was reading the ganon consummation piece again at like midnight (y’know like one does) and i’ve been having a bit of a ghirahim brain rot
so i was very much wondering if you could do a fluffy consummation night with ghira 👉👈 (preferably with a reader with big breasts who’s insecure abt them bc i’m the same way)
The Only One (Ghirahim x Reader)
𝗔/𝗡: 𝗶 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗮𝗮𝗮 𝗶 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗶 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗢𝗟. 𝗼𝗵 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮
𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚!!! 𝗻𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆, 𝘀𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹
𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚? ⇒ 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩
𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧?
𝙗𝙪𝙮 𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚?
You heard many rumors about the man you were supposed to marry. Many, many, many.
It was really all you had to rely on for the months leading up to your marriage. Lord Ghirahim was a busy man, after all. You had only managed just a few brief meetings with him before your marriage to him was arranged. And it was never without an audience. Your family. Some advisors. Some of his men. But those meetings were so brief and so formal. There’s much you could learn about someone over tea. But there’s very little you could come to know about someone when you’re in a room with all the people they need to impress present.
And so, you lived off of the rumors you would hear. And think about the brief patterns of behavior you came to witness around him. Sure, he would send flowers to your family’s home once a week, but you heard that he was crass to those who he thought were beneath him. Sure, there were a few handwritten notes with flowery words and praises and remarks about how he couldn’t wait for the next time he saw you but you knew of his position. You knew of his power. And for the longest time, it made you feel uneasy.
The thought of marrying a stranger could do that to a girl. It could do that to anyone, really. But the thought of marrying Lord Ghirahim- the very Lord Ghirahim you’ve heard nothing but hushed whispers of- had you feeling all nervous and jittery in a way you don’t think is completely natural for a blushing bride to experience.
That was until you were finally walked down the aisle.
You felt like you were melting under the gazes of all the people who watched you walk down the aisle before being handed off at the ceremonial altar. You felt like you were being picked apart by strangers. People who answered to Lord Ghirahim. Members of your family who thought that you were undeserving of such an honor. People who you knew absolutely nothing about. It nearly made you sick with dread as you went to face your betrothed. So sick that you must have missed half of what you were supposed to say during the ceremony and stuttered through the other half.
But then Lord Ghirahim reached for your hand and threaded his long fingers around yours.
“Just breathe, beautiful,” He had murmured to you in between one of the officiant’s many speeches about duty and honor and respect and compassion needed for a good marriage to thrive. “There’s no need to worry. I’m here now. I’ll take care of things.”
You didn’t know what he meant at the time. But his confidence and enthusiasm were infectious. He felt like a shield from all the bad and all the worries you had in this moment, even as he stood apart from you. So you put aside your worries. You casted out all of the rumors you heard from your mind. And you trusted him.
And just like that the rest of the ceremony went off without a hitch.
Then the reception happened. And the reception felt so magical and you felt so pretty and so adored by all that you couldn’t help but melt into your new husband’s side as he doted on you. As if you were someone he had always known. As if you were someone he had always loved. But as the night dragged on, your memories from earlier in the day started to blur. So much was happening around you. So many people came up to congratulate you. So many things to do as part of the different ceremonies. So many foods to eat. So many things to dance to. So little time to stop and to stress and to worry.
Yet all the time in the world to start to fall in love with Lord Ghirahim.
So you had no qualms when the arm around your waist started leading you away from the party and all the guests. And you didn’t feel the same fear and anxiety as you once did as you realized your husband was now leading you towards the honeymoon suite you both were set to share. How could you? Not after he was perfect for you. Not after he made everything so perfect for you.
And so you let him take the lead once more, as he has been all night. And he proved to you once more that he wasn’t the man in the rumors you heard about for months and months on end. No, he was so much more than that. You realized that much earlier in the day. But that thought- that feeling really came to fruition after your new husband locked the door behind the both of you and pushed you up against the nearest wall and went for your body with the hands of a man who only knew how to worship. How to pray.
“My goddess,” You remember him uttering into your skin as his lips pressed against and nipped at your neck. “How did I get so lucky? Who do I have to thank for delivering you to me?”
The two of you couldn’t even wait around to get undressed. He had already pulled down the top of your reception dress and had his hands squeezing and groping at your breasts. Something you would normally be too wary and too afraid to let just about anyone touch so openly. But he listened quietly when you shared your hesitations and your insecurities. And he brushed them all to the side for you. With a touch so gentle and fingers so purposeful as he cupped your breast between his fingers and played with their plushness, he eased you into his affections. He drank up every sound of pleasure you made.
“Tell me whatever you want, and I’ll do it. For you- only for you.” He spoke to you in between kisses. Ones on your lips. Ones on your neck. Ones on your shoulders and arms and every single piece of skin you had exposed. “You’re worthy of it, my lady. My treasure. My everything.”
In front of the crowds, he only spared you kisses to your lips and cheeks and forehead. You remember feeling a little warm in the face when he pressed the occasion to kiss behind your ear and on your jaw as whenever he came up behind you after leaving your side for a moment. But now to feel his lips on you like this? Dipping lower and lower until it’s his tongue circling on a sensitive nipple and two fingers toying with the other.
“My lord…” You couldn’t help but mewl over and over again that night. The scene felt so erotic. It felt like something you only really heard about from others- from friends more experienced than you But you never felt so cherished. Because every honeyed word he said felt so genuine and so true. Because every single place he touched you felt like the right place. That hand grasping onto your hip. His mouth against yours. Even that knee pressing in between your thighs. Making room and traversing an area explored only by one person so far- you.
Deep down inside, you still do hold onto the rumors you’ve heard about him. You know they didn’t come from just nothing. And you aren’t so sheltered and so blind that you’ll trust him so openly and so easily.
But as he stands in front of you- acting far from the flamboyant and bold and powerful man the world knows him to be. As he stands here- taking the time to learn your body and learn more than just your name and your family before he lays you on the bed and claims you as his wife. As he stands here- not as Lord Ghirahim, but as Ghirahim, your new husband, you find that it’s very, very easy to fall in love with a stranger when that very same stranger shows you that he is so much more than your first impression of him. That he is so much more than what other strangers make him out to be. And that you’re so much more to him than just some broad he was supposed to marry.
Because you are and have always been so much more to him. But you won’t know every detail surrounding why he chose you to be his bride for a very, very long time. But you do know one thing. It’s that his lips are soft and his touch is softer. But most of all?
His words of praise and affection to you are even softer. Softer than anyone would have ever thought possible by a man such as Lord Ghirahim. But that’s the thing. Tonight he’s not him. Tonight, he’s not Lord Ghirahim. No- tonight is he just your husband. Just like how tonight, you finally become his. His wife. His beautiful, perfect, goddess of a wife.
The only one for him. Just as he hopes to be the only one for you.

Devotion - Chapter 9: "A Kingdom Over Light & Time"
The Era of the Wild comes to an end, Dev is very impressed by Dragon Ganondorf
Read On AO3
First
<<Previous | Next>>
----
Dev didn't know how it happened, but next thing he knew, he was inside the sword and with Fi. He had been forced into dormancy… that wasn’t new, it had happened before, once with… with his sprite, and again not at all as long ago, with his cub.
He couldn’t remember, was Link okay? Was he hurt? What about Zelda? Did they defeat that… thing?
Then he noticed that there was someone nearby, a presence they could access internally. Fi led the way there, she was stronger than him at the moment.
Zelda, she had been startled by their presence, but had greeted them warmly.
“It’s okay,” she said after he asked what had happened. “Link had used his magic on me.”
“His… magic.” The minor time manipulation he used to speed himself up, so he could strike multiple times in a single moment? “The flurry rushes?”
“The exact same,” Zelda confirmed. “He used the Secret Stone, the gold gem from the hand and it increased the power in his natural magic. I don’t believe it was intentional, but I had taken you when you reverted to sword form, Dev, and I fell.”
“You fell?” Fi repeated, Dev could almost see her frowning. “Master Link watched you fall?”
Zelda nodded. “He almost caught me, but I fell from reach. That’s when a golden light came from him and engulfed me. Next thing I knew, I was in a field and met an ancient ancestor of mine, an ancient queen, her name was Sonia, did you ever meet her?”
Dev thought back, through every woman of the royal bloodline he had ever met. “I knew a couple Sonia’s,” he admitted. “It was a popular name just before the first time Calamity Ganon arose. If I remember right, that was an ancient name even by then. Not as old as Zelda or Link, those transcend time and never reach popularity.”
“She and her husband, Rauru, fought a evil Gerudo king known as Ganondorf. That was the man in the cave. He killed her, but before she died… she taught me more about my sealing power.” Zelda held her hand to her chest. “I used that power to seal us, myself and the Master Sword, in a stasis of light far, far above Hyrule Castle. This way, you can regain power through my own.”
“I cannot track the passage of time within this seal, my lady,” Fi spoke.
Dev frowned. Normally while dormant, he had a vague sense of the passage of time. “Wait, she’s right. How will we be able to help Link?”
Zelda smiled fondly, clearly thinking of Link. “He will find us. I’ll sense him, and I’ll release the seal then.”
So, basically, it was time travel and then waiting… his least favorite things in existence. Great.
It felt like forever, Dev had forgotten how hard it was to just wait. Normally, he had something he could do, be it drifting into dormancy and forgoing all senses, even the passage of time, or exploring and seeking out monsters to slay.
But no, this time, they just waited. Zelda probably became the most knowledgable person to ever exist purely due to how much Dev info-dumped as a way to pass the time, and Fi eventually joined in at their mutual prodding for information about times before Dev.
Then Zelda froze. “He’s here.”
“Master Link?” Fi clarified.
“And Ganondorf,” Zelda breathed, looking to them with wide eyes. “He’s powerful, more powerful than before. It’s… No. We must help Link.”
The seal shattered.
Dev watched. Zelda fell from the sky clutching the Master Sword—in pristine condition, he’d forgotten how long it had been to feel Fi beside him in equal strength. It was almost like when they first united, back with his lion kit, but she was even stronger than back then.
Link was in the jaws of a great dragon, one of pure malice and darkness. He was released from the jaws as it roared, spiraling through the sky. Zelda called out to him, trying to slow her own fall as he immediately dove toward her.
The dragon twisted in air. Link reached for Zelda, who reached back. The dragon turned down toward them, hatred radiating off it in waves, stronger than any other incarnation of hatred Dev had met before.
“Not stronger than Demise. This is a mere two-thirds of his power. Stronger still than any other I have battled, none of them reached one-half, but still weaker.” Fi informed him.
“My respect for your first master has skyrocketed, that thing is strong and Demise was still even more so? That…”
“My friend Link was powerful. I would have claimed him the most powerful of all the heroes throughout time, if it were not for you, the Link who was the Hero of Legends, and I wonder how strong your son and successor was, I would still accolade him as such.”
Link reached Zelda, taking her hand in his. He pulled her into his arms as the dragon lunged past them, only missing because of a sudden gust of wind throwing them to the side.
Zelda pressed the Master Sword into Link’s hand. “You can do this, Link. I will strike him with you.”
Link stared at her. “I’m so glad you’re okay.”
“Thanks to you,” she returned.
They fought the dragon during a freewill, Dev calculated them to be mountains above sea level, the longer and longer they fell. Link swung onto the dragon itself, Zelda doing the same. They would gain altitude as they did so, their combined power weakening the writhing, attacking dragon time and time again.
All until they were just above Hyrule Castle. Link grabbed Zelda’s hand and opened his paraglider as the dragon hit the tallest tower, leaving behind a large enough floor for them to land atop the stone.
It was a place Dev recognized a dozen times over, a place Fi showed him in brief images along their connection, a place constantly overtaken by darkness and always purified.
Zelda and Link stood side by side until Link stepped forward, Master Sword drawn to the side and Zelda placed her hands together, head bowing in some mimicry of prayer.
The dragon, dripping black ichor, turned to look at them both.
“Raise your sword skyward, Master Link,” Fi instructed.
Dev could almost feel her excitement. Link followed her instruction, and a lightning bolt of pure divine magic called by Zelda fell down to them, the Master Sword a conduit.
The dragon of hatred and darkness stood no chance to the strike sent by Link directly at it, shattering the stone that was slowly sinking into the dragon’s head.
Following promptly after was a flash of red light, disappearing into the golden horizon of the rising sun.
Hyrule had changed a lot since Dev’s time, but all the centuries between them meant those changes were gradual. Faster than they should’ve been, sure, but still much slower than the three years that now resulted in the—according to Fi—re-emergence of sky islands and deep chasms.
He called Spectrum back, or tried too, reaching out some of his magic as far as he could and hoped it would reach the kid. If it did reach him, it would update him on the newest hero and the absolute chaos involved with him. If it didn’t, Dev still looked forward to whenever he returned from whatever far off land he decided needed to be investigated and explored this time.
Not even a week after, Link was gone again, vanishing through a portal. Zelda had shaken her head while laughing fondly, before turning to Purah and asking what she could do to continue the rebuilding effort.
Dev was not waiting around again, not for a while, which meant he and Fi got to run off and do what Link would’ve been doing, which was hunt down all the monsters in Hyrule that they could find and kill them.
When Link came back, he returned a bit lighter, a bit older, and he hugged Dev as soon as he saw him. He lived until he was middle aged, Spectrum returned sometime in Link's forties having received Dev’s message and worked his way back.
Link had that knowing look on his face that Dev recognized from both his previous wielders. A look that still confused him, he seemed so much more familiar with Spectrum than he logically should’ve.
It wasn’t something he ever prompted, after all, his lion kit and his sprite had done the same.
When Link passed, and Zelda soon after, Dev was still very against sitting down and waiting until next time.

🪶🪶Lesson 9: Welcome to the Surface Party 🪶🪶
Softness.
This must be what the Loftwing felt when they were enrobed within clouds as they soared among the vast skies.
You felt your body flop onto your other side; the plush quilt on top of you and the silky sheets beneath you were the absolute perfect sandwich.
Cuddling the blanket beneath your chin, you lazily shifted one of your eyes open to the comforting surroundings of your bedroom. At your desk was a green tunic hanging from the back of your chair.
You smiled to yourself, shutting your eye again, only for both eyes to launch open with realization.
You didn't own a green tunic.
A pair of lips brushed against your forehead. "Good morning, Y/N..."
You could feel the slight draft of Link's hot breath tickle against your face.
You shot out of bed in a state of alarm, as if you were going to be late for class and Owlan was going to have your head. Link pulled the covers down, revealing the shirtless bust of his sculpted pecks. He suggestively began to pat the empty space beside him. The sight of your distress made his lips pull back like curtains, revealing his ivory-tinted teeth.
"What's wrong? Come back to bed, baby."
Your hands gripped your cheeks with such strength that you thought you might pull your skin off. You croaked. "B-B-Baby?!"
You looked down at the crimson chemise that floated around your body. "What in the name of the goddess is this?! Why are you in my room? Why am I in my room with you? Why am I-"
Link tossed the covers completely off, standing before you in a pair of tight emerald briefs that hugged his lean thighs. He padded over to you, wrapping his arms around you and sighing in your ear.
"W-What are you doing? And when did you become so thin?"
He chuckled. "Thin? Y/N, you must have had a bad dream. And where else would I be besides with you?"
"What do you mean by that?" His arms, which were snaked around your waist from behind, began to clench you tightly, squeezing you like a python.
"You like me like this, don't you, Y/N? The way our skin feels together. The sight of me on top of your sheets." His tongue poked against your ear.
"L-L-Link, you've gone mad! We are barely even friends! Remember! Link?"
"That's an odd way of saying lovers. Admit it, Y/N. You like everything about this. In fact, dare I say you love it?" His lips puckered against your neck as his nose nudged little circles beneath your ear.
You continued to call his name, but he stopped answering you, his mouth satisfied with a serving of your flesh. A soft moan slipped from his lips, and it clawed at you like a Loftwing's talon. You felt a strong, sharp pang in your lower abdomen that rippled below in between your legs.
"Oh Link, please stop. Link? Link!" Your hands involuntarily darted upward, in desperate need of feeling a fistful of his fluffy, dry locks.
Instead of messy, rogue strands stuffed in your hands, you felt a wiry braid woven in between your fingers. You gave it a gentle yank.
"WAKE UP YOU FOOLISH SKY CHILD!"
Your eyes opened and were greeted by the harsh imprint of frown lines and wrinkles hovering above you. The familiar chitter of birds laughing at you was as daunting as the crinkled dark eyes glowering down at you.
You sat up with a groan. "Oh no..." There was no mistaking the ancient pinecone whom Link told you her name, but you had forgotten. You didn't exactly think you'd see her again. "I've fallen back to the surface?"
The old woman sighed, as if your stupidity were vexing her. "Fallen is incorrect. You were transported. Swallowed by a detrimental twister created by the dark wrath of the imprisoned."
"Not this imprisoned stuff again." You stood up, brushing dirt from your pants. "Listen, um, ma'am..."
"Impa. Surly child. How the hero has befriended you is beyond me."
You began to protest. "Link and I aren't friends."
"Maybe not, but you certainly were screaming his name a lot in your sleep." A scorching storm of heat had landed on your cheeks. Under Impa's circus tent of a poncho, you could see the faintest hint of a grin.
You threw your hands up in defiance. Your voice began to rise, causing the birds to abandon their posts above in the starkness of the surrounding trees. "It was a dream! A dream I had while being unconscious, because I almost died!" You made sure to emphasize "died" so she knew you were not responsible for whatever dream you had while you were comatose.
Even if it so happened to be a dream of Link practically naked in your bed. Your mind replayed the sound of his footsteps on your floorboards and the heat from his breath against your skin.
It wasn't the worst dream you had ever had.
"Shhh. Hush! You will disturb it, and there's no time left." Impa turned away from you, offering you the sight of her cloaked, hunched back. As you looked past her, you noticed the area you were in was different than the first time you had come to the surface.
"Where are we?"
"When you first appeared here, you had landed in the lush forest of Faron. This is what is known as the 'sacred grounds', where the imprisoned remains sealed away by the hero."
The eerie silence certainly denoted an element of consecration. Gone was the forest you had seen that was plentiful with alien greenery and foreign wildlife, and in its place were tiers of stark and desolate ground. Your eyes counted the slabs of jutting land until you realized they weren't plateaus, but it was all one summit that stemmed from a center, swirling into a circle that led to an eventual peak. At the very top of its crest stood a marble door, dilapidated and not too many years away from collapse. Beyond that door, there appeared to be some sort of church or temple. In typical Y/N fashion, you were itching to go explore it.
Before you decided to trek to the top, you took calculated steps toward the edge of the story you were on. At the precipice, you could make out the familiar foreboding suction of ventilation. The winds seemed to blow at the same impractical miles per hour that had sucked you up from Skyloft and spit you back on the surface. You leaned a little over to see a surfeit of air currents shooting upward, as far as your eyes could follow.
Was this the source of the dreadful tornado that had appeared?
"Don't get too close. Lest you'd like to be eaten again." Impa stood beside you; her pupils, inky like the shadowed streams erupting from the center, were lasered in on the center of the summit's nadir. The source of the aforementioned evil. "It is waiting for him."
"Him? You mean Link? What does it want with Link?"
"To settle the score."
"I won't let it hurt Link." You vowed out loud to yourself, not expecting Impa to acknowledge your oath.
"Well, should you defend the hero, then at least that means he can focus on protecting the princess."
"Why do you keep calling her princess?"
"Princess, goddess, or oracle, she will always be the same as long as Hylia resides within her. Isn't she of prominence on your island?"
"She's the headmaster's daughter."
"And you think that is a mere coincidence?"
"Look, I don't know what this imprisoned thing is you and Link keep going on about. I don't know why the giant tornado ate me and not Zelda, if she's the wanted one. I just want to go back to Skyloft."
"Too late. It has chosen you." Impa looked you up and down. "Your connection to the hero... it is uncertain why you have been chosen. Either as bait or for something else, but what something else is, only time will reveal. But you cannot go back to your island."
The old hag was starting to piss you off. "I don't want to be chosen!"
"Nobody does. Do you think the hero or princess wanted to be chosen? To be assigned the rest of eternity, bonded to the desires of evil, and then tasked with defeating it? Quit whining; it is quite unbecoming. If you care for your friend, you will help him fight, not run away."
Her words were harsh, slicing into you the way you used to cut down bamboo stalks for knight training. But you could see through her glacial demeanor to a core of wisdom and warmth. She was trying to help you.
And the truth was often harsh, wasn't it?
"What should I do?"
Impa turned her head to the top, where the door to the archaic building stood. Beside it was some type of mechanism you had never seen before.
"A fellow skychild of yours created that gizmo up there. He called it a "canon." If you are a knight and can wield a sword, you and I can fend it off until the hero arrives."
You felt your temple twitch. "A... fellow... sky..."
"Yes, I believe his name was Groose."
"GROOSE! GROOSE FOUGHT AGAINST THE IMPRISONED?!" The echo of your enraged voice scared off any remaining birds that hid nearby.
It wasn't necessary for the pinecone to say another word. Before you knew it, you had reached the top of the summit, standing behind the gadget Groose had made.
"You mean to tell me a man who sleeps with a drawing of Link's face on a punching bag made this?!" You kicked it and stubbed your toe, crying out in anguish.
When I see him again, I am going to beat him senseless. Why did Hylia choose Groose of all people to help Link while I was in the dark about all of this?
As you began to fiddle with it, cursing Groose beneath your breath, the ground began to rumble. The magnitude with which it began to quake was enough to knock you off balance. Beneath you came the screeching howl of the old woman. The sound of her feeble scream made your veins feel tight beneath your skin in horror.
Oh no, she'll never reach the top. Panic had officially set in, and you stood on shaking limbs, gripping the canon for support.
I have to protect her. But what if Link doesn't come? What if I fail him?
But there was no longer any more time to spend entertaining "what ifs."
A deafening sound ruptured the ground, and an evil energy, so revolting, made your blood freeze, as if it had stopped pumping into your heart.
The imprisoned had broken free and joined the surface party.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the start of everything.
Chapter one.
Followed by a yawn, your eyes opened.
It took you some time to understand where you were since your mind still felt a bit blurry from the crazy dream you just had.
You tried very hard to hang on to the very last bits of memories from the dream you had. It was wildly different from your life and felt pretty long. Long as a whole life. In fact, you felt like you hadn't even slept at all and was still tired because of that.
It felt a bit strange not hearing birds after waking up and opening the window of your dorm room. Of course, you knew there were no small birds around Skyloft the same way there were in your dream, but still, it seemed like a little bit of your dream self had rubbed off on you.
You let out a bigger yawn as you stretched and went towards your dresser to pull some more appropriate clothes over your body. You were about to choose your normal comfortable everyday attire when you remembered that there was supposed to be that one competition thing today, you didn't even remember all the details about it, barely even the name in fact, but you still knew it was supposedly important enough for you to at least make an effort to wear something nicer, right?
Okay, maybe not nicer, but at least more fit for flying, after all, it would be a competition in the sky, and knowing Groose and his goons, they'd definitely try and pull tricks on you.
Some minutes later, you were at the main hall and on your way to go outside. Link should still be sleeping, if you knew him enough, and if you knew Zelda enough, she should be waking him up, like always. You were surprised she didn't wake you up too, but you guessed it made sense, since you were awake before normal today. It was still very early, judging by the quiet atmosphere inside the academy.
You didn't think too much on it as you went outside, choosing to skip breakfast today, it was still way too early, and despite your hunger there was this feeling something would go wrong today, maybe it was just anxiety, but you really didn't want to risk throwing up while on the competition.
Although you did find it weird that you were so hungry, it was almost like you had skipped dinner or something.
While you were walking outside you found your instructor Owlan, you didn't necessarily want to start a conversation with him, it was too early for your brain to even work, but he caught sight of you and smiled, nodding at you.
“I see you woke up early today. Planning to get some training done for the Wing Ceremony race?” He asked, sounding almost proud, despite being surprised. You didn't have the heart to tell him that wasn't even on your mind.
“Oh… Yeah, uh, the ceremony that, uh… Training, yes.” Not even you understood what you had just uttered, having stuttered so much that by now “stumbling over your words” wasn't even near the best way to explain what you had just done. Your diction already wasn't quite the best in normal conditions, and caught off guard like that, lying to top it off, there was no way it could get any better than that. At the end, you just gave up.
Owlan seemed to take note of that too, the way you stuttered sounded suspiciously the same as when he caught you dozing off during his classes, and asked you a random question on purpose.
The man shook his head, chuckling to himself.
“You didn't even know that the Wing Ceremony race would be today, did you?”
“Of course I knew! You just caught me completely off guard, is all.” You replied, defensive.
“I'm starting to believe you don't even know what the Ceremony is about.” He continued.
“I just woke up, man. Give me a break.”
Before he could further scold you, or lecture you about the ceremony for the 100th time, Zelda's blue Loftwing came flying around the corner, clearly going towards your dorm's window and Link's as well, since your dorms were almost side by side at the academy. You supposed Zelda had asked him to wake the both of you up.
“Was that Zelda’s Loftwing just now? I thought I saw two letters in it's beak, I wonder what they say.” He mused, bringing a hand up to his chin while looking the way the Loftwing had gone.
You noticed Owlan seemed to have been just as distracted by the Loftwing as you, so you decided to use said distraction to quickly and silently come back inside from where you had left, knowing he'd notice you if you tried to leave the academy.
“Yeah, right? I'm gonna find out! See you later instructor!” You did just that, slipping away away from him.
Once back inside the building, you went to your room to see if you were right on your hunch, and one of Zelda’s letters was directed to you.
And seeing the letter on the ground upon entering your room, you knew you were right.
Your guess is that she sent the same thing, or almost the same thing, to both you and Link, so both letters said to come meet her at the Goddess statue. You swore that the girl must not know any other place in Skyloft, since it was the only place she ever wanted to hang out all of the time.
Going back to the hall and on your way to the other big double doors on the top floor of the building, not wanting to run into Instructor Owlan again, you ended up caving in to your hunger and stopping by the kitchen to at least get an apple to keep your energy. You could get a better meal later, but for now, fruit would have to suffice.
Eventually, you found your way out of the building and ran into yet another instructor of yours, hearing him calling your name as soon as you stepped out.
“I see you woke up early today too! Did you and Link plan to train together before the ceremony?” Horwell smiled at you.
“Oh, I actually didn't know Link was awake.” You pretended to be surprised, this time you were more awake so you were able to dodge the question with ease.
As if on cue, said boy dropped from the roof right besides you, catching you off guard for the second time that day, yet earning a smile and words of gratitude from your instructor, as Link handed him the Remlit he was holding.
Not long after that, Link tugged you away, towards the Goddess statue.
“So you just assume Zelda also invited me over to the statue?” You lifted an eyebrow at the blond, who was still holding your wrist as you both walked towards the stairs that led to the platform the huge statue stood proudly on.
“Of course, am I wrong in assuming that?” He glanced back to smile at you.
“Not really.” You smiled back, shaking your head.
He was right in assuming, after all, Link, Zelda and you were an inseparable trio, you were always together, never separated, ever.
As you guys walked up the stairs, Link didn't seem intent on letting the silence last for long, despite his usual quiet demeanor. It was almost like he was bothered by something, his behavior hinting at that.
The hint was faint. It could even be difficult for you to pick up on, that was, if you didn't know Link for as long as you did.
“You look different today. Did you dress up for the Ceremony?” Link seemed to have been looking at your outfit, taking note of your different clothes with that same soft glint in his eyes he that he always seemed to have when looking at you.
Since he mentioned it, you also started noticing that he clearly didn't have the same thought process you had when getting up, since he didn't even bother to change out of his sleeping cl/othes. Sometimes you even thought he didn't have any other clothes, save for the academy uniform, since he always wore the same outfit every single day.
“You didn't?” Believing he was attempting to tease you, you quipped back quickly, turning his own teasing back at him, or so you thought. Not at all aware that thefamiliar sparkle in his eyes wasn't teasing but rather something else.
Link began laughing when he heard your response, and so you had to shush him when you heard the familiar tune of Zelda's harp alongside with her singing. It didn't take too long for Link to turn as quiet as you when his ears finally picked up on the sound, stopping the banter to listen to the familiar song
Zelda stopped the song once she noticed the both of you, smiling warmly at the sight. By that time, you guys were already less than 10 feet away from her.
“Good morning, you guys!”
Notes: I actually finished this four days ago and forgot to post it lmao
Anyways, Zelda might become a love interest.
Also, I've been thinking about Loftwing colors a lot, and I'll probably go after some unofficial, fan headcannons to choose the color of MC's Loftwing, so that we can pretend they are rare like Crimson (not as rare, but at least not one I see all of the time when playing the game)
