Why Choose Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks for Sewage Treatment?
The treatment of sewage and wastewater often involves challenging environmental conditions. Whether it's dealing with acids, alkalines, sulfides, or other corrosive elements, sewage storage and treatment systems need tanks that can withstand these harsh environments for decades.
Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks provide the ultimate solution for these extreme conditions, offering a number of benefits that ensure long-term reliability, reduced maintenance costs, and excellent corrosion resistance. Below are the key reasons why Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks are the ideal choice for sewage treatment applications.
1. Superior Resistance to Corrosive Attacks
One of the most significant challenges in sewage treatment is corrosion. The highly corrosive nature of sewage, which often contains organic acids, sulfides, and other harsh chemicals, can cause traditional tank materials such as concrete and steel to deteriorate over time. This not only compromises the structural integrity of the tank but also increases the need for frequent repairs and replacements.
Our Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks are manufactured by fusing glass at high temperatures onto the surface of steel, creating a smooth, non-porous, and highly resistant barrier. This barrier offers exceptional protection against the corrosive agents found in sewage and wastewater. The glass coating prevents the steel from coming into direct contact with the aggressive substances in sewage, ensuring the tank's longevity and reliability.
Whether you're storing municipal sewage, industrial effluents, or wastewater, our GFS tanks maintain their performance even in highly corrosive environments, offering a long lifespan with minimal maintenance.
2. Unmatched Resistance to Abrasion
In addition to corrosion, sewage treatment often involves the movement of solids and sludge that can cause significant wear and tear on storage tanks. The abrasive action of suspended solids and grit in sewage can wear down conventional tank surfaces, leading to erosion, leaks, and potential failure.
Our Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks are not only highly resistant to corrosion but also to abrasion. The glass enamel coating provides a hard, durable surface that can withstand the mechanical stress caused by abrasive materials. This makes GFS tanks an ideal choice for sludge storage, where the tank walls need to endure constant wear from solid waste particles. The superior abrasion resistance ensures the tank's structural integrity over time, reducing the need for costly repairs and downtime.
3. Low Maintenance and Long Lifespan
The inherent durability of Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks means that they require very little maintenance. The glass enamel coating is designed to last for decades, even in harsh environments. Unlike concrete tanks, which may crack or deteriorate over time, or steel tanks, which are susceptible to rust and corrosion, GFS tanks maintain their performance for the long term with minimal maintenance.
In addition, Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks do not require the frequent resurfacing or recoating that is common with other materials. Once the glass enamel coating is applied, it forms a permanent bond with the steel, creating a seamless, corrosion-resistant surface that is easy to clean and maintain.
4. Hygienic and Safe for Sewage Storage
The non-porous surface of Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks helps prevent the growth of bacteria, algae, and other harmful microorganisms, which can be problematic in sewage treatment systems. This makes them a more hygienic option compared to other materials, reducing the risk of contamination.
Additionally, the smooth surface makes it easier to clean the interior of the tank, ensuring that sewage or wastewater remains safely stored without risk of contamination or microbial growth. This helps maintain the integrity and quality of the stored sewage, which is crucial for compliance with environmental and public health standards.
5. Designed for Harsh Conditions
Sewage treatment tanks are often located in areas with extreme weather or operational conditions. Whether subjected to high temperatures, freezing conditions, or intense UV exposure, the durability of the tank material is critical.
Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks are designed to perform in a wide range of environmental conditions, making them perfect for both industrial and municipal sewage treatment facilities. The high temperature and chemical resistance of the glass enamel coating ensures that the tanks will not degrade over time, even in the harshest of environments. Furthermore, our GFS tanks can be custom designed to fit any location, ensuring a perfect fit for your specific sewage storage needs.
6. Cost-Effective Solution for Sewage Treatment
While Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks may have a higher initial cost compared to concrete or GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) tanks, their long-term value is unmatched. The durability and low maintenance of GFS tanks result in significant cost savings over time. With no need for frequent repairs or replacements, GFS tanks offer an economically viable option for sewage treatment facilities looking for a reliable, cost-effective solution for wastewater storage.
7. International Standards and Certifications
At Center Enamel, we are committed to producing tanks that meet the highest industry standards. Our Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks are certified to international standards such as AWWA D103-09, NSF/ANSI 61, ISO 28765, ISO 9001, CE/EN 1090, and NFPA, ensuring that every tank we produce meets the stringent requirements for safety, quality, and performance.

Stainless Steel 316 / 316L Screw Exporters in India
Nascent Pipe & Tubes is one of the prominent traders and stockiest for Stainless Steel 316 / 316L Fasteners (Screws), which would make the grain boundary areas less corrosion resistant. Stainless Steel 316 Hex Head Screws will be less susceptible to sensitization, a condition caused when carbon combines with chromium around the grain boundaries, thereby depleting the grain boundary areas of chromium.
Sensitization occurs with heating into the 800 Degree F to 1300 Degree F region, so Stainless Steel 316L Socket Head Cap Screws is a welding or annealing problem. If you use a Stainless Steel 316 Socket Set Screws with high carbon content the welds may crack spontaneously as they cool down from the welding, where this type of cracking is known as “hot brittleness”. In other words, Stainless Steel 316L Anchore Screws is more resistant to intergranular corrosion.

This guide will walk you through installing wire mesh cable trays to achieve an efficient, tidy, and safe cable management system.
SS wire mesh cable tray
Why Choose Wire Mesh Cable Trays?
Wire mesh cable trays are popular for a reason. Their open structure supports airflow around the cables, which helps to prevent overheating—a common issue in dense cable setups. Additionally, the visibility that the wire mesh offers makes it easier to identify and access cables for maintenance. Wire mesh trays are lightweight, versatile, and customizable, making them an ideal choice for organizing cables in various environments.
Wire mesh cable tray
Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Wire Mesh Cable Trays
Plan Your Cable Tray Layout
Before starting the installation, it’s essential to plan the layout of your cable trays. Sketch a simple floor plan of your space and mark where the cable trays will run.     Consider the following factors:
Cable Pathway: Determine the path the cables will follow. Avoid running trays over machinery or areas with limited access.
Entry and Exit Points: Identify points where cables will enter and exit the trays.
Support Spacing: Ensure your layout includes supports at regular intervals to maintain the stability of the tray.
Choose the Right Materials and Tools
Selecting quality materials is key to a successful installation. Here’s what you’ll need:
Wire Mesh Cable Trays: For long-lasting performance, choose trays with a durable finish, such as galvanized or stainless steel.
Supports and Brackets hold the trays in place and must be compatible with the trays' width and weight load.
Mounting Hardware: Bolts, screws, and anchors that are suitable for the surface you’re mounting to.
Tools: A drill, screwdriver, measuring tape, and a level will make the installation smooth.

Install the Support Brackets
Start by installing the support brackets that will hold the cable tray. The brackets   should be mounted to walls, ceilings, or other structural surfaces, depending on your     layout. Here’s how:
Measure Consistently: Position brackets at regular intervals, typically 3-5 feet apart, to ensure stability.
Secure Firmly: Use heavy-duty anchors and bolts, especially if mounting on concrete or masonry.
Level the Brackets: Make sure each bracket is level to prevent sagging or uneven cable distribution in the tray.
Attach the Wire Mesh Tray
Once the brackets are in place, it’s time to secure the wire mesh tray onto them. This          is how:
Position the Tray: Lay the tray onto the support brackets and check that it aligns with the planned pathway.
Secure with Fasteners: Use screws or other recommended fasteners to secure the tray to the brackets. Check the tray’s stability and adjust as needed.
Join Multiple Sections: If your layout requires multiple tray sections, use connectors or couplers to join them securely, creating a continuous pathway.

Route Cables and Secure Them in Place
With the tray in place, it’s time to route your cables. For the best results:
Organize by Type: Group similar cables together, such as data, power, or communication lines. This will make maintenance easier and reduce the chance of interference.
Avoid Overcrowding: Ensure cables are spaced adequately to maintain good airflow and prevent overheating.
Secure with Ties or Clips: Use cable ties or clips to secure cables within the tray, especially near entry and exit points.
Label Cables for Easy Identification
Labeling your cables is a critical step that will pay off when it comes to      troubleshooting or adding new cables. Place labels on both ends of each cable, identifying its type or connection purpose. This helps technicians quickly identify    cables without unnecessary confusion or handling.

Perform a Final Check
Before you finish, inspect your work to ensure everything is secure and functional:
Check Stability: Give each section a light shake to confirm that brackets and trays are firmly anchored.
Test Airflow: Ensure cables have space for airflow, particularly if they’re power or data lines.
Review Labels: Confirm all cables are labeled correctly, and make sure they’re positioned neatly within the tray.
Tips for Long-Term Maintenance of Wire Mesh Cable Trays
Maintaining wire mesh cable trays is simple, but it’s essential to perform regular checks to ensure optimal performance and safety:
Inspect Regularly: Schedule periodic inspections to check for loose fittings or cables that may need adjustment.
Clean Occasionally: Dust and debris can build up over time. Wipe down the trays occasionally to keep them clear.
Review Labels and Organization: Update labels as necessary, and make sure cables are still organized and secured with ties or clips.

Our fasteners are famous for their exceptional corrosion resistance, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness. We provide different grades of fasteners to meet different production requirements.
What Are Fasteners?
A fastener is a temporary or permanent mechanical device that firmly links or attaches two or more surfaces. Temporary fasteners are intended to be withdrawn without injuring the two or more attached materials.
Examples of temporary fasteners include nuts & bolts, screws, and washers. On the other hand, permanent fasteners are intended to form a strong and long-lasting link. Removing these sorts of fasteners might cause significant harm to the linked surfaces. Examples of permanent fasteners are weld nuts and rivets.
Fasteners, unlike glue, may hold together materials consisting of metal, plastic, wood, and concrete. They keep together things that can withstand high degrees of tension.
Different Types Of Fasteners And Their Uses
Fasteners are broadly classed into two types: permanent fasteners and non-permanent fasteners. As the names suggest, a permanent fastener creates a permanent joint, while the latter creates a temporary joint. The adaptability of numerous types of bolt heads keeps them in great demand. Mechanical fasteners are commercially available in a variety of sizes and shapes. They are classified into many sorts, each with its own classifications. Some of the most popular types of fasteners are listed below:
Screws Manufacturers in India: Screw fasteners are the most popular form of fastener. They are highly adaptable and durable. These socket screws must repair degraded internal threads across their whole length, and their heads come in a variety of designs. Screws require internal threads to keep items together. They form male threads in the item into which they are placed. This minimizes the necessity for pre-tapping. Also, visit top screw manufacturers in Chennai.
Washer Manufacturers in India: Washers are fasteners widely utilized in several sectors. They are often used under joints, nuts, and axle bearings to minimize friction and prevent component loosening caused by vibration. Washers also serve to separate different components and prevent any leaks that may occur. The form of the various varieties of washers varies depending on their use; nonetheless, they all serve the same function: to connect two surfaces with a single fastening.
Bolts Manufacturers in India: A partly threaded fastener that binds two components together, commonly known as threaded bolts. Nuts and bolts are frequently employed as fasteners to join distinct elements. The bolt is inserted to connect the pieces and fastened with a nut at the end. Carriage bolts have a domed or countersunk head with a square component behind it to hold the bolt in place, whereas flange bolts include an extra circular flange beneath the head to distribute weights equally.
Stainless Steel Fasteners Manufacturer in India: Stainless steel is an alloy that combines low-carbon steel with chromium. Both of these essential pieces provide various qualities to the fasteners. The chromium offers excellent corrosion resistance, whereas the low-carbon steel composition gives minimal strength. Some regularly used stainless steel grades are 18-8 Stainless, Stainless Steel 410, and Stainless Steel 316. We are the leading SS 304 fasteners manufacturers in India.
Carbon Steel Fasteners Manufacturer in India: Carbon steel fasteners are essential in various sectors due to their strength, durability, and cost efficiency. When given the choice, why is stainless steel the better option?
The usage of fasteners is quite widespread, and they may be found in both industrial and everyday settings. In spite of the fact that they are relatively insignificant pieces, they are absolutely necessary for the construction of complicated equipment. There are a lot of different kinds of them to choose from. The criteria are distinct from one another depending on the kind. How about making an effort to build an overall impression of them?
Tapered or even non-tapered tangs can be seen on threaded fasteners. Tapered shank fasteners are designed to be driven directly into a substrate or into a pilot hole drilled into a substrate. Those with a non-tapered shank are often meant to be used with a nut or to be driven into a tapped hole. Weld Neck Flange suppliers in UAE have been used for quite some time.
Tumblr media
Wood screws, coaching screws, masonry screws, self-drilling fastenings, and drywall screws are all examples of fasteners with tapered shanks. Stainless steel 304L seamless pipe is a popular option. For example, the shank of a wood screw, which is used to fasten together two pieces of wood, seems to be unthreaded. Similar to wood screws, but often much larger and with a hexagonal driving head, coach screws are a type of fastener. The greatest assistance may be expected from Blind Flange suppliers in UAE.
This type of fastener is designed to firmly attach wood to masonry or concrete, and to join massive timbers together. Conversely, a concrete screw is a screw made of carbon steel or stainless steel that is used to secure wood, metal, or other materials into masonry or concrete. These days, Threaded Flange suppliers in UAE are the best.
For demanding industrial uses, a number of companies specialize in making A106 seamless line tubes in a variety of diameters, shapes, and standards. The product may be shaped and altered to fulfil any requirement since it can be welded, flexed, flanged, and subjected to various types of forming processes. SS Plate Flanges suppliers in UAE has a global market.
After going through a series of rigorous procedures including custom tube cutting, welding, bending, forging nipples, threading and cutting (T&C), etc., a finished category of continuous line pipes is shipped to the client. To ensure the product’s tensile strength, durability, and strength, manufacturers invest considerable effort in testing. The Carbon Steel Plate Flanges suppliers are top-notch.
Tumblr media
Blue diamond coating and hot-dipped galvanized are two high-quality coatings that last for many years even in the most demanding and important industrial settings. ASME B16.9 Elbow have been highly regarded.
To ensure you obtain a high-quality product at a fair price, it is recommended that you purchase ASME B16.5 Flange from any well-known manufacturer or supplier in the business. You would get a pipe that has been sprayed from all angles, has a high-quality coating and finish, and has been individually heat-dried to avoid corrosion. ASME B16.11 Fittings are indeed very good.

Note
I suppose you can call me "villain Dimitri anon" now, but I actively dislike Azure Moon for the narrative perks that you and other fans insist it has, but I can't see. What back and forth does Dimitri have with his retainers that aren't confined to supports? There's just Gilbert, Rodrigue, and Byleth ignoring the one-eyed elephant in the room.(1/2)
What support network does Dimitri have? A bunch of badly abused subjects at the end of their rope who don't have the guts to abandon him or give him a wake up call. Dimitri's redemption in the rain makes zero sense as the scene progresses, and outside of some lip service in a support, he's so cured of any trauma that not even getting the truth about Duscur fazes him. What's worse, this redemption is the main idea of the route. (2/3 now)
The back and forth is in reference to how the army in AM feels directionless and disagrees on whether they should liberate the Kingdom or rescue Rhea first. This gets references both in story cutscenes and in the exploration of dialogue of numerous characters, heavily reinforced by many of these same characters remarking on how off-putting Dimitri’s behavior is. This stands in contrast to CF never questioning Edelgard’s actions even as they’re far more systemically terrible with the work of Hubert and the Agarthans behind the scenes; even VW offers a number of scenes and exploration content of characters questioning and critiquing Claude’s actions. Felix’s mini-arc outside his support line with Dimitri is the clearest example, because he’s the loudest voice of opposition and because if you trigger their supports some of the dialogue changes to reflect that, while Rodrigue plays a predictable but workable role as the doomed mentor figure whose death forces Dimitri to confront how his obsession with revenge is hurting the people he loves.  This is all unfortunately somewhat undermined by Byleth’s presence and the need for self-insert romance, with them supplanting Dimitri’s established support network and worst of all leading to Dedue being killed off by default and then never re-integrated properly into the story lest his intimacy with Dimitri pose an obstacle to the expected lord/Avatar romance (that can’t even be pushed in the same way that Edeleth can in all routes, incidentally, because Dimitri can’t S rank m!Byleth). This is a genuine problem in AM, but curiously it’s one that I see brought up almost exclusively by fans of Dimitri and his route rather than those who hate AM and/or rail against Dimidue as an allegedly racist pairing.
None of the other Blue Lions gets a single meaningful word in in the main story cutscenes. You can get some character development for Ingrid, Sylvain, and Felix in monastery dialogue and DImitri's supports and that's it. Not to mention, gameplay-wise, dealing with Dimitri is just no fun, and there's no choice to get fed up and leave. With all of Crimson Flower's problems, at least you had to actively choose to go on that route. (3/4 now)
I wouldn’t say that’s all that different from how the other routes handle their chorus of minor characters, especially CF which again minimizes any sort of friction the Eagles might have with Edelgard even when she’s outright lying to them. There’s a reason that SS is sometimes cited as a better characterization showcase for the Eagles other than Edelgard and Hubert, particularly for Ferdinand who actually gets to be the contrarian #3 on that route. Gameplay is more subjective, although I’d rank being unable to instruct Dimitri or have him engage in monastery activities for four calendar months is more than offset by CF being exactly that many months shorter than AM or VW. Also, in terms of building characters Gilbert is far, far less of a pain in the ass than Jeritza, and I say that as someone who’s painstakingly gotten every character in the game to all ranks at S+ and all classes mastered over many NG+ runs. Having to pick CF is also an inconvenience that screws with the flow of Chapter 11 since you need to waste a battle weekend going to Edelgard’s coronation lest you miss out on instruction weeks or later weekends doing it at the start of the month. It’s kind of a moot point to argue about this anyway as the Deer have it the best when it comes to unit development, with neither of these restrictions as well as the longest route and no Part 2 exclusive to worry over.
Crimson Flower had a "big picture" war story, Verdant Wind had good character balance and exposed the truth about the player character. Azure Moon was just all DImitri. Not to mention, my own political philosophy and real-world history interests make me biased against Dimiri and his stance. (And no, I'm no fan of dictators, just not of a fan of Fearghus-style feudalism) (4/5)
I do like redemption stories. But I've seen them done better elsewhere. Dimitri's character is interesting, but his route isn't. All routes on Three Houses have problems that I nitpick about, but as thing stand, I can support Claude and Edelgard in achieving their ideals, i cannot in good conscience support Dimitri as king. Nurse him back to sanity, maybe, but put him in charge of other people's lives? No. (end)
Eh, SS is the route you’re looking for if you want the full story of Byleth’s origins and their connection to Rhea; VW’s endgame exposition dump is more about the true origin of Crests and Relics and general worldbuilding which is why I’d call it the big picture route over CF which kicks one of its major antagonists to an offscreen postgame. I also question why you single out the quasi-feudalism of Faerghus when that’s the established standard for all of FE and for most of the fantasy genre overall. Fire Emblem is notoriously reactionary when it comes to its politics, such that Dimitri’s solo ending suggesting the beginning of a participatory government might be the single most concrete move toward democracy of any lord in the series. Even as tiny a step as that is it’s more than can be said for Edelgard not delivering on her rhetoric of abolishing the nobility and...whatever she plans for the church (since she vacillates on whether she’s fine with the Seiros faith but only takes issue with the church or whether she thinks humanity has no need for gods, and the only CF ending that re-establishes the church has it run by the state which is some prime dystopian stuff). Claude similarly suffers in that his plans remain ongoing at the end of VW and lack any concrete shape beyond opening the borders and forcing people of different nations and cultures to interact and get along - a well-intended idea, but not one that will lead to serious change without a lot of work and oversight.
Dimitri lacks such grandiose ambitions, and once he’s moved beyond his need for revenge his goals center around alleviating the suffering of the Kingdom and of his loved ones, but on a meta level that’s kind of all he needs to do. One of the reasons that AM’s story structure is more coherent and well-paced than that of the other routes is that it’s extremely well-trod ground for IS: “blue lord takes back invaded homeland from red emperor with the Power of Friendship” is the standard FE plot going back all the way to Marth, and Dimitri’s biggest deviation from that model is the somewhat realistic depiction of his struggles with mental illness. That’s probably why many longtime veterans of the series favor AM, because we know it’s the type of narrative IS excels at and we’re not expecting anything more politically revolutionary. Hell, the proto-democratic ending was as unexpected to me as Dimitri’s strong queer notes...which is why I prefer him over the other two incidentally, not because of his politics which are just fantasy boilerplate of a good king being restored to his throne, and there was much rejoicing, etc. There are gender-based readings of AM that I and others have made, not to mention people who enjoy the homoromantic push and pull of Dedue and Felix on Dimitri and how those relationships develop against one another, and I think it’s telling that those unconventional analyses of Three Houses’s most typical lord and most typical route are still more plausible than all the additional motivation and setup you’d have to throw in to make Dimitri a proper villain, or even just an antagonist for the length of more than one chapter.

Why do you antis use Orihime's jealousy of Rukia & Ichigo’s bond to justify the legitimacy of their ship? They say things like "even Orihime can see why Ichigo and Rukia are the real deal", as if it's not perfectly normal for a teenage girl to feel insecure and to have preconceived notions. I could be talking to some random guy and people might assume we're together. Never mind if he was one of my closest friends. People jump to wrong conclusions all the time. Why can't Orihime?
Like the problem with this argument is that people tend to ignore the context around it, which is the depression Orihime was experiencing during the arrancar arc.
She was feeling useless, insecure, and left behind. She didn’t think she contributed enough in the SS arc, and then she failed to protect Tatsuki and Chad against the espada on top of that. And so, her feelings of inadequacy towards Rukia were not a single, isolated incident (if they were, that would have given a lot more weight to this argument). Instead, it was just one thing on a long, collective list.
It’s important to remember that she was in a dark place mentally at this point, and felt inadequate and worthless in virtually every aspect of life—making all of her self-perceived shortcomings seem magnified, to the point that she focuses on things that *gasp* aren’t actually there, or anywhere near as bad as they may seem to be to her.
Because her being useless isn’t a fact. Her not being able to measure up to Rukia isn’t a fact. All of these things don’t exist as actual concrete truths in the manga; they exist only in her mind. They are insecurities that she has made up in her head.
How do we know this? Because Kubo immediately reassures her/the reader that she has no reason to feel the way she does every single time she expresses these feelings of inadequacy aloud. When she worries that she can’t contribute enough and only ever gets in the way, Rukia refutes that and reassures Orihime that her role in the SS arc was vital and important. When she expresses jealousy towards Rukia, Rangiku refutes that and reassures Orihime that she is special to Ichigo in her own way.
Clearly, Kubo was not trying to tell us “yeah, Orihime’s right, she really is fuckin useless and can’t measure up to Rukia.” This is basic storytelling. He set up how Orihime’s lack of self-worth is affecting the way she perceives things, and then he’s spelling it out through his characters that what she is perceiving is all in her head and not actually true.
Honestly, it’s funny that people even try to use her jealousy as proof of an IR romance when it’s immediately followed up with Rangiku basically saying, “silly girl, you have no reason to feel this way.” Do you see how that blows a massive hole in this argument? That it’s immediately struck down via Kubo speaking through Rangiku?
Again, it’s not really not surprising that Orihime would feel that way given the context of the arc—her growth arc. Her feelings of jealousy were not a testament of an IR romance, they were a testament of how negatively Orihime was feeling about herself at the time. Kubo did not write this to prove that Orihime really is useless and could never measure up to Rukia in Ichigo’s eyes; he wrote it as a stepping stone for Orihime’s development, to show how she was once at a low point and developed
The thing is, when she expresses the jealousy towards Rukia, her fear is that she would never be able to affect Ichigo the way Rukia can, or “get him out of his funks” the way she did….And then she does just that in the HM arc. When Ichigo’s not fighting like his usual self and is about to be defeated by Grimmjow, Orihime calls out to him and completely rejuvenates him with just a few short words. That’s the effect she has on him. And it proves her insecurities totally false.
Immediately, I don’t appreciate being used as some random scratching post for opinions I have never expressed. I am not the representative leader of “you antis,” nor have I ever claimed to be. So I’m not impressed by this from the outset.
I am further unimpressed by it being done anonymously, rather than some effort being made to have some kind of real dialogue.
With that said, I am unaware of anyone having advanced the argument that Orihime is inferior to Rukia simply on the basis of not being able to handle pressure. She is, when all is said and done, indeed merely a 16-year-old. I am also unaware that anyone has advanced Orihime’s breakdown to Rangiku as being the sole substantiation of Orihime’s understanding of Ichigo and Rukia’s relationship. If anyone has, their understanding is very limited.
However, so is yours.
First, Orihime’s feelings of jealousy were not a product of her state of mind during the Arrancar arc. She clearly demonstrated her knowledge of Ichigo and Rukia’s importance to one another when she tried to dissuade Ichigo from going to Soul Society. She also clearly knew and said aloud that Rukia was important to Ichigo during Soul Society. This is a matter of record, and puts paid your notion that her feeling of jealousy arose from “depression.” She was already possessed of it long before.
While I would agree that it was probably a complex of feeling inadequate and feeling jealous that lead to her so-called “depression” (really more of a funk) by the Arrancar arc, you have the chain of causality wrong. Her jealousy did not arise then, it had clearly crystallized by then.
Second, just because Rangiku (or any character) says something, doesn’t make it true, valid, or reflective of authorial intent. Yammy calls Orihime trash. Kubo wrote that. Does it mean Kubo is speaking through Yammy and telling us that Orihime is trash? No. You would call that absurd, and it is. But it’s exactly what you’re doing with Rangiku’s dialogue. The words belong to her, and her alone, and she is a character with her own biases and incomplete knowledge. Claiming that Rangiku’s speech is “special” and privileged over all others is ridiculous.
Third, Rukia is also possessed of incomplete information. She does not seem to know that Orihime went to Soul Society “to protect Kurosaki-kun,” and not to rescue her. This is substantiated by Rukia’s point of view after being grievously injured by Aaroniero. Rukia is a kind enough person that even if she did know, she likely wouldn’t hold it against Orihime, but there is no reason for we, the readers, to agree with that.
Fourth, just because you’re sad and in a funk doesn’t justify getting into a situation where all your friends would’ve died if not for a convenient plot twist, which is precisely what Orihime did in going along with Ulquiorra to Hueco Mundo. Everyone would have died had the Captains not arrived, which she had no way of knowing would happen. Everyone went on a suicide mission because of her and her choices (and further, they all played into Aizen’s hands.) Either she would’ve watched Ichigo get chopped up by Tesla or he would’ve gone Full Hollow then and there instead, with who knows what outcome.
It could be argued that, again, she’s a 16-year-old, and couldn’t have foreseen this chain of events. However, ignorance is no defense before the law, and it isn’t a particularly strong defense of character either.
Fifth, she was also questioning whether Ichigo was a monster and was frightened of him, until Nel basically told her that something was wrong with her and she should cheer for Ichigo no matter what. So if she “rejuvenated” Ichigo, she was herself only “rejuvenated” by Nel. Really then, isn’t it Nel who perked Ichigo up? This is in turn solidified by the events above the dome of Las Noches, where Orihime utterly fails to inspire, which is repeated again and again later in the manga.
Anyway, to my knowledge, nobody really uses any of this to substantiate IR. They use it as an indictment of Orihime. The two are correlated, but separate, and do not particularly rely on one another.
So my answer to your question of “Why…” is that nobody does that. Nobody substantiates IR on the basis of Orihime’s views. However, you have an incomplete understand of Orihime’s views yourself, and even a full accounting of her mental context does not justify what she does and the risk she puts everyone in. That risk is part of the main body of anti-Orihime sentiment, but there need be no connection between being anti-Orihime and pro-IR. Someone who stanned Uryuu or Chad or Renji could be just as mad about it, because she screwed all of them just as hard.
The reason why that risk is viewed as an indictment of Orihime is precisely because she does not grow from these events.
She says she has in the Xcution and Thousand-Year Blood War arcs, but each time she fails yet again. She cannot overcome Tsukishima’s fake memories (and neither can Chad, whereas Byakuya can—Byakuya’s trust in and love of Ichigo is clearly greater than either of theirs), and her shield doesn’t work in Yhwach’s throne room after her long mental speech about catching up to Ichigo.
When the chips are truly down, as they were when Numb Chandelier was threatening to mind-control their classmates into raping Tatsuki until she committed suicide, Orihime never again rises to the occasion.
That she had already done so in Tatsuki’s case (and seemed ready to do so again for Uryuu against Moeh) is what brings her repeated failures in Ichigo’s case into stark relief.
Kubo was indeed saying something through basic storytelling with this repeating motif, I would agree. But it’s not something you would like to hear.
Anyway, if you want to debate this point further, you can do it with this post. I’m not interested in receiving more messages like these in my inbox.

Tumblr media
As a global leader in Glass-Fused-to-Steel tank technology, Center Enamel has developed cutting-edge solutions for sedimentation and other wastewater treatment processes. Our tanks are designed with a focus on maintenance and cost efficiency, offering a reliable and sustainable solution for municipal treatment systems worldwide.
What Are Glass-Fused-to-Steel Sedimentation Tanks?
Sedimentation tanks are an essential part of the wastewater treatment process, designed to remove suspended solids from raw or treated wastewater. The process works by allowing wastewater to flow into a large tank, where gravity causes particles to settle to the bottom, separating them from the clearer water. The settled particles, called sludge, are then removed, leaving the clean water to undergo further treatment.
Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) tanks are constructed by bonding glass to steel at high temperatures, creating a highly durable and corrosion-resistant tank. This fusion results in a tank that combines the strength of steel with the non-corrosive, smooth surface of glass, making it ideal for challenging wastewater treatment environments.
As a leading storage tank manufacturer in China. At Shijiazhuang Zhengzhong Technology Co., Ltd., we excel in providing high-quality bolted steel tanks tailored for the diverse needs of fish farming. Our extensive range of bolted steel tanks includes Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) tanks, fusion bonded epoxy tanks, stainless steel tanks, and galvanized steel tanks, each designed to offer exceptional durability, efficiency, and adaptability for aquaculture applications.

Why Choose Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks for Sedimentation?
1. Superior Durability and Corrosion Resistance
One of the most significant benefits of Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks is their superior corrosion resistance. Wastewater treatment environments are often exposed to harsh chemicals, acids, and alkalis that can cause other materials to degrade over time. The glass coating protects the steel tank from corrosion, ensuring it lasts much longer than traditional steel or concrete tanks.
Additionally, GFS tanks can withstand fluctuations in pH levels and the chemical composition of wastewater, making them a reliable choice for sedimentation purposes in municipal wastewater treatment plants.
2. Low Maintenance Costs
Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks require far less maintenance compared to other types of tanks used in wastewater treatment. The glass coating provides a smooth, non-porous surface that resists algae growth, scale, and other forms of contamination that commonly accumulate in tanks. This minimizes the need for frequent cleaning and repairs, ultimately reducing maintenance costs.
Moreover, the bolted construction of GFS tanks ensures that they can be easily repaired or expanded if necessary. Unlike welded tanks, GFS tanks allow for quick and cost-effective maintenance, further driving down the total cost of ownership over their long lifespan.
3. Quick Installation and Operational Efficiency
GFS tanks feature bolted construction, which allows for faster and more efficient installation compared to welded or concrete tanks. This reduces construction timelines and labor costs, enabling municipalities to begin using the sedimentation tanks sooner.
The modular design of GFS tanks also means that they can be customized in size and capacity to meet the specific needs of a given wastewater treatment plant. This flexibility allows for easy integration into existing treatment systems or for future expansions as treatment requirements grow.
Key Benefits of GFS Sedimentation Tanks
1. Long Service Life
With resistant glass coating and steel’s inherent strength, GFS sedimentation tanks are designed to last for decades. Their longevity not only ensures that they remain functional and efficient throughout their service life but also minimizes the need for costly replacements or repairs.
2. Enhanced Performance in Sedimentation
The smooth, glass-coated surface of the tank reduces friction and turbulence, allowing for more efficient sedimentation of suspended solids. This means that the water flows through the tank more evenly, and particles settle at the bottom faster, improving the overall performance of the wastewater treatment process.
3. Environmentally Friendly
GFS tanks contribute to environmentally sustainable wastewater treatment. By effectively removing suspended solids from wastewater, they help protect local water resources from pollution. Additionally, the long lifespan of GFS tanks means that they reduce the environmental impact associated with the disposal of aging or degraded tanks.
4. Cost Efficiency
The low maintenance, quick installation, and long-lasting durability of GFS tanks make them highly cost-effective over the long term. Municipalities can save money on repair and replacement costs, as well as on energy usage and labor for maintenance activities. Furthermore, GFS tanks require fewer resources to manufacture compared to traditional materials like concrete, making them an environmentally and economically sustainable choice.

Nonreinforced-concrete drain tile is used for land drainage and for subsurface drainage of highways, railroads, airports, and buildings. It is made in sizes from NPS 4 through 36 (DN 100 through 900) in accordance with ASTM Specification C412, Standard Specification for Concrete Drain Tile, and AASHO M178, Standard Specification for Concrete Drain Tile. Drain tile is available in the standard quality, extra-quality, and special-quality classifications.
Perforated concrete pipe used for under-drainage is made in accordance with ASTM Specification C444, Specifications for Perforated Concrete Pipe. This pipe is also made in sizes NPS 4 through 36 (DN 100 through 900) and is available in the standard-strength and extra-strength classification.
Concrete irrigation pipe, used for the conveyance of irrigation water under low hydrostatic heads and for land drainage, is made in sizes NPS 4 through 24 (DN 100 through 600) in accordance with ASTM Specification C118, Standard Specifications for Concrete Pipe for Irrigation or Drainage.
Nonreinforced-concrete irrigation pipe for use with rubber-type gasket joints is made for conveyance of irrigation water at water pressures of 1 bar (35 ft of head) or higher depending on the diameter. Such pipe is made in sizes NPS 6 through 24 (DN 100 through 600) in accordance with ASTM Specification C505, Specifications for Non-reinforced Concrete Irrigation Pipe with Rubber Type Gasket Joints. Physical and dimensional requirements of standard-strength bell-and-spigot non-reinforced-concrete sewer pipe are tabulated in Table A2.26.
Jointing. Rubber-gasketed joints for C14 and C76 pipe are covered by ASTM Specification C443, Joints for Circular Concrete Sewer and Culvert Pipe, Using Flexible, Watertight, Rubber-Type Joints.
Reinforced-Concrete Pipe
Reinforced-concrete pipe for the conveyance of sewage, industrial wastes, and storm water and for the construction of culverts is made in sizes from NPS 12 to 144 (DN 300 through 3600). Reinforced-concrete pipe may or may not be manufactured for use with rubber gaskets to seal the joints. It is usually manufactured in accordance with the following specifications:
ASTM C76, Specifications for Reinforced Concrete Culvert, Storm Drain and Sewer Pipe
AASHO M170, Specifications for Reinforced Concrete Culvert, Storm Drain and Sewer Pipe
Federal SS-P-375-Pipe, Concrete (Reinforced, Sewer)
Reinforced-concrete pipe may be made with either tongue-and-groove or bell- and-spigot joints. When made for use with rubber gaskets, the joints must conform to ASTM Specification C443 or AASHO Specification M198, Specifications for Joints for Circular Concrete Sewer and Culvert Pipe, Using Flexible Watertight, Rubber-Type Gaskets.
Concrete pipe is available also in both an arch and an elliptical cross section.
These pipes are made in accordance with the following specifications:
ASTM C506, Specifications for Reinforced Concrete Arch Culvert, Storm Drain and Sewer Pipe
ASTM C507, Specifications for Reinforced Concrete Elliptical Culvert, Storm Drain and Sewer Pipe
In each of the standards covering reinforced-concrete pipe, five strength classes are defined in terms of minimum three-edge bearing load at a crack width of 0.01 in (0.25 mm) and at the ultimate strength of the pipe.
The strength class required for a given installation is determined by computing the earth load and live load which will be transferred to the pipe under the conditions anticipated. This load is then converted to an equivalent three-edge bearing load by dividing it by a bedding factor. The bedding factor depends upon installation conditions and is always greater than 1.0.
Cement-Lined Steel, Ductiles, and Cast-Iron Pipe
Cement-lined pipe is well established for use in cold-water lines. Substantial quantities of cement-lined steel pipe are used for other applications where corrosion is more of a problem. The largest user, by far, is the petroleum industry in oil field flow lines, pipelines, tubing, and casing. Cement-lined pipe is particularly suitable for these applications because of the presence in the oil fields of saltwater, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and other corrosive material. Other applications include lines in salt works for handling brine, discharge lines in coal mines for carrying highly corrosive sulfur water, lines in paper and pulp mills for handling diluted acids and corrosive waste liquids, and lines in process plants where water or other liquids must be kept free from iron contamination or rust.
Cement-lined pipe is generally joined with screwed seal rings which prevent the corrosive liquid from coming in contact with steel. Flanged joints are also extensively used. Some prefabrication is done of piping assemblies involving welding of the steel joints. Field joining of the preassembled welded assemblies is then done with flanged ends. Cement of course must not be at the pipe ends being welded. After welding, these ends are filled with mortar. Little_PEng
