Miss Sassy’s Fandoms (Master List)
My Ao3
A couple of things to keep in mind:
Note1: More Fandoms will be added as I think of them/get into them, so feel free to ask a request for a fandom not on here. I can’t guarantee I’ll write it, but at least you’ll know.
Unless they’re related, I won’t do adults tickling minors or vice versa
SFW requests only. I don’t mind doing black out scenes (skipping to the after), but apart from that and some vulgarity, that’s as far as I’ll go
Not making any promises, but I am going to try to work on it this year, but I do have a habit of doing things at the last minute and/or having writer’s block that could last anywhere from a week to a year, So, if you request something, keep that in mind if you’re wanting something a little sooner than that. Just know that I will get to it eventually, even if it takes a year.
You may notice that there are a couple of fandoms that are listed under Special Circumstances. These are not fandoms that I am into nor normally write for but will write for during events. Squealing Santa. Tickletober, etc. etc. Feel free to check them out, but I’m not taking requests for these. I struggle writing for the fandoms that I’m into much less fandoms that I’m not into. -_- lol
Note 2: This goes for certain fandoms that I have listed as well. I got Marvel’s listed as a fandom, but I’ve only seen a few movies from this genre. All the Iron Man ones, Spider-Man, Captain America: the First Avenger. What If and a couple of the Shehulks series. Keep that in mind that most of my knowledge regarding this genre is through those and through reading fics.

It’s freezing.
Thirty-one point eight degrees Fahrenheit, in fact, Castiel knows. On the Celsius scale, negative zero point one one one, repeating, on and on into the infinite blackness of space above, out beyond the unfathomably distant boundaries of the universe that is still now rocketing outward from the explosion that began it all.
But “freezing” will do, as Dean’s occasional mutters keep reminding him.
Castiel is perfectly comfortable with the temperature. He always is. What is surface temperature or wind chill to a celestial wavelength? But Dean is merely human, and the dark black cold of sky above and car hood below can wreak discomfort on his mortal body. Castiel resists the urge to melt the chill away, to create a small bubble of room-temperature comfort surrounding their prone, parallel forms. Dean would complain.
(Yes, he complains about the cold, but he’d complain inexplicably louder if he were comfortable. “Freezing our asses off is half the point, Cas,” apparently. Castiel has long since learned not to question the logic.)
The two of them stare quietly up at the winter stars.
“So, you remember that one?” Dean asks out of the silence.
Castiel turns his head to look at him. The blanket providing a thin sliver of cushion on the hood of the Impala wrinkles between them.
“Which one?”
“That one.” Dean nods vaguely upward. The gesture indicates nothing more specific than his initial question.
Castiel turns back to the sky. The stars are all unchanged, pricking their lights out across the vast distance of eons.
“Yes,” he says, because it doesn’t really matter which one Dean is asking about.
“Really?”
Castiel turns to him again. This time, Dean meets his gaze. Dean’s eyes would be just as comforting to spend this time staring at, though Castiel doesn’t say so. It would make Dean look away.
“I remember them all,” Castiel says. “At least, all the ones born before this planet formed. They lost most of their interest after that.”
“Sap,” Dean accuses.
Maintaining their eye contact, Castiel scoots his body closer to the line of Dean’s, until they’re pressed together, side to side. Dean’s face softens. It could be because of Castiel’s warmth against his chilled body, or because Dean isn’t as immune to “sap” as he projects himself to be.
“I’d much rather be here with you than wandering the stars,” Castiel says.
Dean gets that slightly lost look he often does when confronted with Castiel’s affection. Castiel kisses him to bring him home.
It’s only a moment before Dean’s body shudders against him. Castiel feels it from his knees up to his lips. He breaks the kiss with a final few pecks to Dean’s chasing lips and the tip of his reddened nose.
“You’re cold. Come, I’ll warm you up inside.”
Castiel ignores the suggestive waggle of Dean’s brows and levers himself up from the hood of the car, careful not to put too much pressure on the points of his elbows. Dean has fussed at him often enough about putting dimples into the car’s body. Dean relents to reason and follows, balling up the blanket in his arms. As they walk back toward their home, Castiel doesn’t comment on how Dean seeks the heat of his side again, or how a tiny smile brightens his face in the starlight when Castiel wraps the warm, open edge of his coat around Dean’s back.
–
“You know I’m not gonna sleep if you pump me full of caffeine right now,” Dean says, while Castiel pulls two mugs from the cabinet. It’s a minor inconvenience, trying to lift his arms that high without fully dislodging Dean’s chin from his shoulder. Dean remains stubbornly in contact against his back as Castiel sets the mugs down and shuffles sideways to the hot water kettle.
“You won’t be full of caffeine,” Castiel says. He shuffles back the way he came, with this barnacle of Dean on his back, to fill the kettle at the sink – then back again to the kettle’s base, where he sets it to boil. Dean’s feet scuff along with his own, step for step. “Cacao beans have very little caffeine when compared to coffee beans.”
He can hear the wrinkled nose in Dean’s voice: “You’re doing your fancy hippie thing, brewing cacao instead of coffee? Just make a packet of cocoa, jeez. It’s so much faster.”
“You know perfectly well that faster isn’t always better,” Castiel chides.
Dean smirks against his ear while Castiel reaches for the French press. “Don’t we both.”
Castiel, again, doesn’t comment on Dean’s clinging – at least, until the grounds are measured, the kettle boiling, and the press filled. He drapes a tea towel over it to keep the heat in for the ten minutes it needs to steep, then turns in Dean’s octopus-grasp and regards him.
“You’re still cold,” he observes. He lifts Dean’s arms from his shoulders and holds both their hands in front of his chest. All it takes is a thought, a moment of intent, but as with the brewing, a little time and ritual has its own kind of worth.
He begins with Dean’s fingers, which are still stiff with the chill of the winter night. He cups them in his own hands and brings them to his lips so he can breathe warmth over them as his grace seeps unseen into Dean’s hands. He warms the still-strong tendons, the joints showing the first internal signs of arthritis, the bones with old healed fractures. He moves slowly, gently within Dean’s flesh. Experiencing him from the inside is just as familiar to Castiel as from the outside, though that’s another thing Castiel doesn’t say aloud. He’d know Dean by the shape of his thumb knuckles, by the density of his fingertips, by the cartilage wear patterns in his wrists, by the antibody blend circulating his veins. These are no less precious to Castiel than the laugh lines on Dean’s face.
Castiel pushes his grace further, tracing along the radius and ulna of Dean’s forearm, spiraling up the bicep muscle to tired shoulders. He witnesses from both sides of Dean’s skin the tension of cold melting away.
Dean inhales. His lashes flutter down as his brows knit up in one of Castiel’s favorite outward expressions of pleasurable overwhelm. At the moment of exhale, when Dean’s practiced defenses are at their lowest, Castiel moves in and sweeps Dean up into his arms.
The kicks of alarm are predictable and Castiel counterbalances appropriately until Dean stops swearing. There’s new tension in Dean’s body now, both of ingrained resistance and of the desperate cling of a man who prefers being connected to the ground.
“Fuckin’ cardiac arrest,” Dean grumbles in the vicinity of Castiel’s neck. The grip of forced trust around Castiel’s shoulders loosens only slightly. “Hate it when you do that.”
That is not true, but Castiel doesn’t point it out. It will take time to finish the brew of their chocolate drinks, and there is more of Dean’s body to warm.
Dean’s weight is easy to bear as Castiel carries him out of the kitchen to their cozy living space, where an oversized armchair awaits under the soft, colorful glow of the string lights they hung together over the door frame. Castiel sinks into the chair, angling into the corner so Dean’s legs have room to relax over his lap. He keeps one arm curled around the back of Dean’s shoulders to hold him close.
Dean gruntingly snuggles in. “You really are a romantic sap.”
Castiel kisses the top of his head in response.
For as serene as their stargazing had been, and as truthful as Castiel was about interest lost, Castiel finds himself thinking of the glories he hasn’t turned his attention to since ages past. The darkness of the sky outside is deceiving; it appears all the fainter to human eyes for the competing light of the towns nearby, with so many of the stars obscured. There had been times past, on those long trips across middle America, where Castiel would notice Dean snatching glances at the unobstructed night sky. In those days, there were always more important, more difficult, things to be doing than staring up at the stars. But they were so much more striking out there, away from the cities that overwhelmed their light. The dark was deeper, the light more nuanced. Rippled bands of space dust and starlight would wheel magnificently overhead as the planet turned, ever-watching.
Castiel lifts his eyes and reaches with his awareness beyond the ceiling, the attic rafters above, the roof shingles and the light pollution of civilization. There, distant, are Procyon and Sirius, Castor and Pollux – according to the names humanity has given them, different from their true names, but Shakespeare had gotten it right about naming roses. Rigel, Betelgeuse, and Aldebaran mark the shapes called Orion the Hunter and Taurus the Bull. Fainter, more far-flung, beyond the bright points strong enough for most human eyes, are the stars named less creatively as technology aided in their discovery: CVSO 30, 66 Orionis. The dust of nebulae and long-exploded gasses refracts their light across a spectrum that is so much wider than what a limited biological system of rods and cones can detect.
Castiel can’t make Dean see them this way. But he can bring their representation into something reachable.
Keeping his own face upturned, he runs his fingertips up the stubbled curve of Dean’s cheek and rests them on his temple.
“I’d like to show you something,” he murmurs, and gently feeds in the visual information in a way Dean’s mind can understand.
—
Dean gasps as the living room ceiling whirls into light.
The massive Milky Way groans on its axis with the music of the spheres. Blue-white infernos reduced to the size of pinpricks glitter their way through the ocean-deep darkness that extends immeasurably beyond the eight-foot ceiling canvas they dance on. Cosmic dust and star debris glow as black rainbows swirling through the depths.
It’s the most beautiful thing Dean’s ever seen. And he’s inside his own damn house.
“Showoff,” he mutters, for lack of any other suitable words.
Cas smiles, probably. Dean doesn’t look away from the galaxies above to check.
He knows Cas isn’t trying to actually show him up. This isn’t an answer to the pitifully human experience of icing one’s nuts on Baby’s hood while squinting up at dots in the sky. That had been Dean sharing an experience with Cas. This is Cas sharing an experience back with Dean.
Dean never really knows how to respond, though, when Cas does this. Does anything, really, that forcefully reminds of the immensity of his experiences, the divine and the celestial. The strength in his body. The patience of his care. It’ll send Dean into a coma if he thinks about it for too long. So he just… doesn’t, and opts to bitch about inconsequential things instead. Like the rudeness of being literally swept off his feet. He really is gonna flatline one of these days, though whether it’s from shock or fluster overload will remain undiscussed.
He sinks more heavily into Cas’ chest and watches the stars sing out their light. His head finds a comfy spot by Cas’ collarbone, where he nuzzles in and releases the last of his tension with an exhale.
Cas makes a noise.
It’s a very particular noise, a hum-grunt that Dean recognizes as involuntary, because for all the multi-dimensional capacities and compressed divinity, Cas, the angel, is ticklish.
Dean fucking loves this about him.
It’s one of the only equalizers that at least kind-of balances the two of them, physically. Sex does, too – at least, once they get toward the end, where Cas is so tangled up in his own body that he can’t really focus on anything else. But here, this spot at the crook of his neck, where Dean’s hair is brushing? Yeah, that’s just mundane ticklishness at work.
Dean sighs again, not-quite-theatrically, and rubs his head there as he wriggles to a more comfortable position on Cas’ lap.
Cas’ chin comes down this time and bumps the side of Dean’s forehead. The noise, slightly closer to a huff now, repeats.
“Dean,” Cas says.
“Cas,” Dean says back. Still watching the astral display above, he hugs around Cas’ chest and starts gently tracing his fingertips up and down Cas’ side. “Real nice show you’re putting on here.”
The way Cas says, “Thank you,” is about as reflexive as the twitch Dean feels in his body.
“I’m really enjoying it.” Down, up, down with a little finger wiggle.
Cas’ breath puffs out with a flinch of movement that threatens to break the touch on Dean’s temple. Cas seems to gather himself then, steeling against further reaction.
“I’m glad,” he answers stiffly.
Oh, this is where it gets fun. “Break the Angel” is one of Dean’s favorite games.
“Sure would be a shame if you had to shut it off early,” Dean sighs. His fingers walk slowly up Cas’ side, until they’re under the arm that’s raised to maintain the touch-illusion with his head. “I’d like to watch until our deluxe, not-at-all-unnecessary hot cocoa alternative is ready.”
Cas swallows. “There’s still some brew time left, don’t worry.”
A little tickle in Cas’ armpit, then Dean’s fingertips slide further back to tease behind his shoulder. However invisible and intangible, the base of Cas’ wing is sensitive. It’s a bonus in all sorts of circumstances. Right now, the upside is a special, angels-only tickle spot.
Despite what Dean knows is Cas’ best effort, Cas’ spine curves away from the touch as he squirms in the armchair. The fingers on Dean’s temple slip; the Milky Way warps into a ripple like disturbed water for a brief moment.
“Dean,” Cas begins again, but no amount of super-human strength can stop the chuckle that wobbles his words. “Only a few moments, please…”
“Yep, only a few,” Dean agrees cheerily. “You got this.”
It is so damn satisfying, making unshakeable Cas shake with laughter. The stars overhead wink and glitch. Dean’s hand finds what he’s privately dubbed the “wingpit” by Cas’ shoulder blade and tickles it mercilessly while he clings to the squirming torso beneath him. Cas scrunches up, buries his nose in Dean’s hair, and snickers until he snorts. But he’s stubborn – the night sky flickers, blares into nonsense colors, browns out until Dean actually catches a glimpse of the ceiling’s plaster, but keeps reforming as Cas struggles to keep contact with Dean’s temple.
“The – hah! – the cacao should be ready,” Cas stutters after a moment more.
Clearly, Cas is expecting this to be the white flag of truce. But Dean has already decided there will be no survivors.
He pivots suddenly in Cas’ lap to claw at his ribs with both hands. He burrows his face into Cas’ neck with a growling assault of nibbles and raspberries for good measure.
Cas dissolves into laughter and finally breaks the connection. He grabs desperately at Dean’s tickling hands and twists to dislodge Dean from his neck.
Dean sits back with a grin, now straddling Cas’ lap. The only glow in the room is from the string lights; the ceiling is bland once again. Cas is smiling and catching his breath, the sight of which rivals the splendor of the absent sky, so it’s no great loss.
“Are you all warmed up now?” Cas asks, faux-exasperation and all.
“Yep.” Dean holds up limber, wriggling fingers demonstratively. Cas catches them before they get any ideas of their own.
—
The unfortunate truth is, brewed cacao smells so much better than cheap packet cocoa. Dean begrudgingly gives it that. He’s wrapped himself around Cas’ back again as the two of them putter through the kitchen once more. Cas seems on-edge this time, especially whenever Dean’s hands drift to his ribs. But Dean only pecks a few ticklish kisses to the side of his neck, and smiles when Cas shivers with goosebumps. Will Cas try to get him back for it later? Yeah, probably. Likely right when they’re getting into bed, when Dean’s too tired to fight back. Afterward, when he’s trying to stop giggling, Cas will kiss him quiet again. None too terrible, as far as divine retribution goes.
The mugs catch Dean’s eye when Cas pours a bit of milk into each. The dark liquid inside swirls slowly with pale clouds and ribbons, reminiscent of the galactic show. It’s not nearly as spectacular, of course, but Dean thinks he’ll look a little more fondly at his morning coffee from now on.
Back in the living room, they snuggle up once again. Dean cradles the hot mug in both hands and smiles when Cas noses his ear and kisses his cheek before taking the first sip of his own drink.
The ceiling looks so blank.
“Do you think you could, uh,” Dean starts, hesitantly, “do that sky thing again? That was pretty awesome.”
Cas looks consideringly at him, the kind of look that warns of consequences if pushed, which… isn’t really an effective deterrent, if Dean’s honest.
“Are you planning on interfering again?” Cas asks.
He’s already had his fun – for now. Dean holds up his mug. “My hands are occupied,” he says, making sure to top it off with a disarming grin.
Cas’ look relents. He wraps an arm around Dean and pulls him in until Dean’s head leans on his shoulder. He lays one more kiss on Dean’s hair before brushing fingertips over his temple.
Together, they bask in the light of the stars.

Xiao hummed, gently touching silk flower with his finger, watching its petals bloom. He took a look at his garden, proud. He made a sound of approval before making his way to the Qingxin flowers to tend to them as well.
So deep in concentration, he hadn’t even noticed the cheery footsteps behind him.
“You seem to like it here.” Venti commenting as Xiao whipped his head behind him, startled. The God of Death just laughed. “Scared you?”
Xiao looked down, saying nothing. After a moment though, “I love it here.” He turned back to look at Venti, who only had a fond smile on his face that made Xiao’s face warm.
Not much was said after that. Xiao continued taking care of his plants, as Venti looked around, making his own comments about each of the flowers.
“Xiao~” Venti singsonged, putting his hands on Xiao’s shoulders to catch his attention. “What flowers are those?” Venti pointed to some white flowers.
“Those are cecilias. A nation’s speciality from Mondstadt.” Xiao told him, matter-of-factly. Venti dragged him over there, though Xiao would be lying if he said he minded.
“They’re so pretty!” Venti exclaimed, crouching on his knees to get a closer look. Xiao didn’t look at the flowers, although he thought the very same exact thing about them. But he was looking at Venti, who seemed more at peace than he had seen in a while. He looked.. to say the least, gorgeous. So gorgeous that Xiao found it hard to look away. He hadn’t even realized until he was snapped out of his daze by a giggle from the very boy he was looking at so intently.
“What are you thinking about that’s making those flowers on your shoulder bloom so much?” Venti teased, putting his hand to his mouth. Xiao’s eyes widened, his face going aflame at being caught staring and the way he couldn’t even control his emotions so much to cause flowers to grow on him. He had never been good at hiding his emotions.
“Nothing..” He muttered, crossing his arms. There was no way he would ever admit that he was just staring at his husband so blatantly. How embarrassing…
“Is that so? I won’t mock you, you know?” Venti laughed, and Xiao just glared, face flushed, because he so would.
“I.. just felt like it, okay?” Xiao pitifully lied, though both of them knew it wasn’t fooling anyone. Then all of a sudden, he feels one of the flower petals lightly grazing his ear and before he can stop it…
“Hah!” He gasps, bringing a hand to his ear to keep the flower away. He says nothing, hoping that Venti hadn’t noticed what happened but, it was Venti. Under some sort of miracle would Venti have not seen it all.
“Xiao…” He raised a brow as his confusion faded into amusement and understanding, after putting the pieces together.
“No.” Xiao mumbled, blushing wildly and turning away. Venti seemed to perk up at his response, and Xiao groaned because he just set himself up. His reactions were only fueling the god’s curiosity.
“Are you ticklish-“ Venti asked, innocently but Xiao could see the mischievous glint in his eyes.
“I’m not!” Xiao denied quickly, too quickly. He clamped his mouth shut, opting to turn his whole body away from Venti to hide his face. Bad idea.
He felt two small hands reach for his sides and his heart drops, panicked. Before he can move out of the way, Venti’s nimble fingers are on him and squeezing with terrifying speed that has his squirming and gasping.
“V-vehehenti! Plehehease!” He can’t help himself but giggle, trying to look at the god.
“Please what? Please keep going? Okay, if that’s what you want!” Venti snickered, skittering his fingers across Xiao’s midriff with surprising ease, despite the god of Flora’s squirming.
“Nohohoho, thahat’s nahahat w-whahahat I was sahahaying!” Xiao stuttered, his hands pushing against Venti’s though with little effort.
“Oh? It seems I misunderstood a lot! Well, what is it? Please do let me know!” Venti rhymed, and how he could rhyme at a time like this, Xiao didn’t know. He was sure that enough flowers had bloomed on him to start another garden. To his disdain, petals were still lightly swishing back and forth on his ears making his nerves flare. And with Venti tickling him, it made his sensitivity all the more worse.
“W-wahahait! Stahahap!” Xiao giggled, shaking his head, embarrassed at how much he was laughing. Now, another thing for Venti to tease him with..
“Hm? Do you really want me to? But your laughter sounded so true!” Venti asked, though even through his laughter, he could tell it was a genuine question. And when he thought about it, did he really want Venti to stop. Venti was obviously enjoying himself. Was he? One glance at Venti’s amused and adoring expression told him all he needed to know.
He stayed silent. Well, his giggles were still as apparent and clear as day but protests no longer poured from his mouth.
“You’re so easy to read. Ehe~” Venti quipped, his fingers trailing up to Xiao’s ribs. Within an instant, his legs gave out and without stopping, the god of Death gently brought him to the soft grass.
“Ahahaha! Ihihit tihIHIckles!” Xiao squealed, throwing his head back. Venti hummed innocently, counting the number of ribs, oh so slowly. As his fingers started making their way to the upper ribs, Xiao’s giggles embarrassingly rose an octave.
“W-wahahait! Not thehehere!” Xiao shrieked, twisting and squeezing his eyes shut.
“Aw, but why not? Your laughter is like music to my ears!” Xiao flushed, pretending he didn’t hear that. Venti smiled, knowingly. “I ought to write a ballad about your laughter. It plays just like a melody~”
“Bahahaharbados!” Xiao slipped out, not even meaning to say Venti’s ‘god name’. Venti clicked the inside of his mouth.
“Using my official name, now? I’ll get you for that!” Venti paused for a moment, as if contemplating. “Alatus.” Xiao pouted, or at least tried to pout through his laughter. He had always preferred Venti to call him his real name.
Either way, he had no time to comment on it because he was too busy screaming his head off. Venti moved his tickly hands over to Xiao’s tummy, which Xiao was hoping would not happen because it may or may not be his worst spot (kudos to Zhongli for being the one to help him learn this fact).
“Ah, what a reaction I love to see. And the cause of this reaction is because of me!” Venti giggled along with Xiao as he bucked his hips. Xiao felt tears build up in his eyes, as he was slowly reaching his limit.
“PLEHEHEASE! STAHAHAP!” He shouted, a wide smile on his face. He could never handle being tickled there for too long. He flailed his head around, whipping it back and forth and gasping wildly.
The tickling on his sensitive tummy started to slow down, until it finally ceased, leaving Xiao disheveled and panting for breath on the ground. His head rested on Venti’s lap, too exhausted to move.
“How are you feeling, my love?” Venti asked, gently caressing Xiao’s cheek. All the cheekiness in his voice from earlier, gone.
Xiao didn’t say anything, instead lifting his head to look at the god above him. He smiled, letting Venti know that he was feeling fine, happy even. Venti smiled, a similar one to the one that got Xiao into the entire mess in the first place. He blushed, hiding his head away in his shoulder.
The god of death giggled, planting a sloppy yet loving kiss on Xiao’s lips. Xiao melted into it, closing his eyes, feeling himself relax. Venti placed his hand on Xiao’s shoulder, using a finger to gently rub it. Xiao found himself leaning to the touch, smiling against the kiss.
He was happy. Venti was happy. And he hoped it would be like this for centuries to come.

Some Things Change, Some Things Stay
Summary: Where Steven and Connie reunite for the holidays and shenanigans ensue.
POV/Setting: Steven Universe / Post SU:Future / Cannon-verse
Word Count: 1,334
A/N: Happy Squealing Santa 2021 to @writersonicfan91! I really hope you enjoy it! I'm squeakin' in this fic at almost the last possible moment 😅 Thank you so much to @ticklygiggles for hosting this year and for acting as a go-between for me.
~~~
There was something special about how Beach City handled the holiday season. Both Funland amusement park and it's arcades' usual carnival tunes were replaced with electronic versions of copyright free Christmas music. Each shop along the boardwalk and shore was decorated with strings of tinsel and twinkling lights; the Fry Shack and Fish Stew Pizza were obviously competing on whose set up could be more elaborate. Even Little Homeworld adopted a festive mood by mashing all the different winter holiday traditions together and celebrating them all the whole month long.
Here, the night was calm and quiet. It had only been a few months since he left but still Steven felt a bittersweet swell in his chest as he gazed upon his hometown from a hill that overlooked it. A cold breeze rustled the grass in harmony with the ocean waves gently crashing miles below. He laid back and breathed in the familiar scents. Though it was a surprise visit that he and Connie had planned, Steven was sure Garnet had already seen his arrival. Still, he was grateful for the moment that she had the foresight to either keep it to themself or keep the rest of the Crystal Gems from rushing to the outskirts of the city.
He glanced at his phone for the time and saw a text from Connie ping through.
4:43pm - Almost finished packing. Checking my list to make sure I've got everything
"Awww!" Steven quickly relayed his exclamation before pocketing his phone once more. He stood up and stretched. "Okay Steven, it's only been 89 days since we hung out in person - nothing to be nervous about! We video chat every night, it's gonna be totally normal."
He casually put his hands in his jacket pockets.
He shifted his weight to one leg while the other bounced.
He twiddled his thumbs.
"This feeling is valid but pull it together Universe!" He gently scolded and wiggled his whole body to release some of the pent-up energy.
A pink portal opened up a short distance from Steven with a muffled boom of a far away roar. He turned in time to see Lion charge past and Connie launching herself at him.
"STEVEN!" She gleefully cried with stars in her eyes.
An embarrassing yelp was the first thing he could get out as he caught Connie and tumbled head over heels in a protective pink bubble. Then they were laughing in a tight embrace that threatened an oncoming fusion if their emotions danced too far away from them. Lion circled round to catch them from rolling too far down the hill away from Steven's car and Connie's discarded luggage. Once they were safe, the bubble popped and left them lying in the grass.
Connie sighed and lifted herself from his neck. "It's so good to - OPE!" Lion forcefully nudged his large head into the gap between them and pushed her off to cuddle Steven. "Heeey, Liiion!'
"Aww, hey buddy, I missed you too," Steven chuckled. He hugged the massive beast and scritched deep into Lion's mane, causing him to rest his full weight across Steven's chest. Steven grunted and kicked his legs dramatically but made no actual attempts to free himself.
Connie moved to sit beside them at an angle where Steven could comfortably see her, only to be pushed over again when Lion stretched out his massive paws. "Lion!"
She was ignored. Her squinted glare and downturn pout didn't match the amusement in her voice. It was devastatingly simple for Steven to adore her.
"What?"
"Nothin." Steven smirked as she directed her playful ire his way. "Your reactions are just funny, that's all."
"Oh yea? I'll give you somethin' to laugh about!" Connie rolled out of view before reseating herself on Steven's shins.
He was giggling before a protest could form on his lips. Connie's fingertips dripped slowly across the tops of his feet from the thong strap of his signature flip flops. This methodical tickling involving gently traced anatomical shapes (the metatarsals in this case) riled his nerves into a frenzy. Steven kept as still as possible, knowing full well how ruthless she could be if he accidentally kicked her. Instead, he grabbed fistfuls of Lion's mane in a vain attempt to ground himself.
"It's winter, where are your shoes? Don't you know how sensitive feet are to adverse conditions?" Connie teased, emphasizing choice words with both tone and rapid fluttering around his ankles and the edges of his soles.
"I-hehehe-I run war-heh-horm!" Steven explained to his fully aware girlfriend. His giggles grew louder and faster with Connie focusing on the inner and outer edges of his feet. Pinned as he was by an unbothered Lion, Steven still couldn't stop himself from squirming. His shirt and jacket rode up, his jeans twisted a little around his hips and knees, and his flip flops were hanging precariously from his shaking toes.
"Fun fact: hot people tend to be ticklish."
Steven blushed and laughed a little harder at the double meaning in her smug voice. "Connie~!" The snare she had around his feet pulled away to his great relief. Until she shifted her weight and he felt her knees on either side of his. Steven became infinitely more aware of how vulnerable he had become in just a few minutes. "Oh no, no - Connie, please, I'm stuck, Connie - Lion, Lion!Get!Off!Me!" He desperately pushed at the massive cat who leaned into the pressure with a content chuff.
Chilly fingertips squished into his sides and shocked a squeal out of his system. Even colder was the tip of Connie's nose that she touched to his gem. "Why are you so cold?!" A wash of whiney preemptive snickering overtook him.
"If only the Great Diamond Authority," she said in poor imitation of Yellow while squeezing to emphasize each word in the title, "knew the savior of the universe would crumble from tummy tickles." Then, she let her fingers fly.
Joyful tears sprang to Steven's eyes immediately. He was utterly incapable of containing his reactions when his stomach was focused upon in any capacity. Gentle rubs soothed him in a cosmic way, being held or laid upon gave him a profound sense of security, kisses melted his essence to mewling goo. When his gem was included in such affections...it was a transcendental experience.
Tickling summoned the purest, giddiest laughter in all the planets combined. It summoned light to his gem that was stuttering like his frantic heartbeat. Any words Steven attempted were doomed to incoherent babbling punctuated by helpless snorts. If it were anyone but his loved ones toying with his belly, the intense vulnerability would be terrifying. But in their hands, it was unbelievable fun. And in Connie's hands, he was the happiest putty he could possibly be.
Steven was unsure how long Connie had been tickling him when Lion finally had had enough of their shenanigans interrupting his nap. The pink beast grumbled as it came to his feet and padded off toward the temple. Connie seized the opportunity to flop forward and snuggle in his place. When Steven resumed gently scritching, this time to her scalp, she sighed into a sing-song hum.
"Mmm, I missed you so much, Steven." Connie full-body squished him. She kissed beside his heart, unwilling to move her ear too far from it.
"I missed you too. And I missed this."
"The cuddle puddle or the tickle torture?"
"All of it," Steven admitted quietly.
"Good to know." He felt her smile against him. Nature's orchestra filled the quiet - wind and waves and midi holiday-ish songs. "We should probably get going soon, huh?"
Love engulfed him in the same space where anxiety had not too long ago. "Yea...soon." Steven wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of Connie's head.
A Fun Little Game...
- Fandom: Harry Potter
- Ship: Druna
A/N: Hello!!! I’m sorry this took so long to post, it’s been sitting in my drafts for final edits and i totally forgot i was meant to finish it, but here it is!! My squealing santa fic forrr... @ticklishraspberries !! Thank you so much to the wonderful @ticklygiggles for holding this event again this year, and i hope you all enjoy!!
Luna had a lot of funny little quirks, and Draco loved every single one of them. His favourites among them were her obsession with playing with his hair; braiding and styling it with her special bands and clips; the way she would hum and dance to her own little melody around the room of requirement where they slept some nights; and her tales and stories that she would tell whenever something reminded her. But a new one was beginning to arise, and Draco wasn’t sure how to feel about it.
It was the worst kept secret ever that Draco was deathly ticklish. It would be unfair to say that Luna took advantage of this, per se, but she did enjoy exposing this little fact whenever she could - doodling on his tummy and sides when they cuddled, poking him out of nowhere and sometimes, just straight up wrecking him. Truly, Luna adored how ticklish Draco was, and how his pasty cheeks would flush that brilliant red, and she did not keep this a secret either. Her intention was never to tease Draco, she was just being honest, but Draco would still die of shyness every single time.
After a couple months of the unbearable tickling Luna seemed to always spring upon him, he raised the question: “Why do you do it so much?”
“I enjoy it,” she responded simply. This wasn’t news to Draco, so he pressed for further details. “Seeing you so happy makes me happy. And i like feeling how easy it is to make you so weak and giggly so fast. I love everything about it.”
This answer took draco aback, and he began to blush again, making Luna smile and point it out. He didn’t have much time to think before she was on him again, poking and tickling his sides relentlessly until he was a giggling puddle of mess. However, unbeknownst to Luna, Draco was devising a plan.
Draco hated being vulnerable - but being around Luna, it felt different. He felt free of judgement, he was free of judgement, and despite how torturous the tickling could sometimes get, he couldn’t pass up an opportunity to make Luna happy. So, he began to expose himself around her more. Arms stretched, provoking pokes, even giggling when the tracing didn’t tickle to remind her the option to do so was there. He wasn’t sure if Luna had even noticed his change in actions, but he hoped it was making her happier than ever before.
Before long, Draco began to not mind the tickling. Sometimes he even found himself longing for it when Luna wasn’t there - it was subtle, and subconscious, but he would try and gently trace his own stomach while resting, annoyed by the fact that it wouldn’t feel the same. He would get embarrassed whenever he noticed his own actions, dreading the thought of anyone ever seeing him acting so pathetic.
(Un)fortunately for him, Luna had a keen eye, and had an eye for small habits like this. Spotting how Draco moved, a kind smile crossed her features, and she leaned over, taking his hands gently and replacing them with her own. “If you want me to tickle you, you’re allowed to just ask...” she smiled, wiggling her fingers in the way that made Draco helplessly squirm and giggle.
“L-luhuhuna- i- i didn’t-“ he spluttered, but was completely interrupted by a fit of laughter as her hands slipped under his shirt to get at his taut tummy. “NOHOO!! WAHAHAHAITTT!!” His pleading, however, was completely ignored, and Draco curled up in ticklish bliss as luna’s hands travelled and traced and teased and tickled. She somehow reached every single one of his worst spots, leaving him a mess of giggles and snorts.
Before long, Draco was too tuckered out to continue, and began to tap out. Stopping, Luna smiled and gently smoothed her hand over his stomach to try ease the feeling. Draco panted and laughed quietly, wanting desperately to say something but not knowing what. Luna seemed to read his mind. “You can ask me if you want to be tickled... i do enjoy it a lot, tickling you, so i won’t mind,” she said in that oh so casual manner that made Draco all the more flustered every single time. Shaking his head, he looked away and huffed. “Absolutely not... that’s embarrassing...” he grumbled, cringing at the idea itself despite longing desperately for more.
Luna seemed to hesitate for a moment before smiling. “How about we come up with a word for it? That way when you say it i’ll know that you want it and it won’t be embarrassing for you because you won’t technically be asking for it?” She suggested, with a kind smile that made Draco positively melt. “What kind of word...?” he muttered after a little, still not looking at her. Luna thought again for a moment. “How about... strawberry?” she said, and Draco scoffed for a moment, feeling embarrassed and ridiculous, yet found himself nodding. “Okay...” he whispered.
Kissing his forehead, luna smiled. “Good. Just let me know when you want some strawberries then i’ll happily give them to you...” she said, and Draco smiled, wandering how he managed to get so lucky...
Free of Charge
A/N: Gift for @kiyachi-tickles I’m so glad I got to be your Squealing Santa! Hope you enjoy, and hope you’ve had a Merry Christmas! Also, thanks to @ticklygiggles for hosting the event this year :)
Words: 2.5K
——-
Kirishima heard a familiar gasp coming from the common room entry that made him freeze in the midst of his Christmas tree decorating, but he didn’t turn around. Not even as footsteps approached him from behind.
“Okay, seriously, dude? This is getting really stupid.”
“Hu - Kaminari, heh-hey! Wha…what…didn’t really…see…. How’ve ya been?” Kirishima could barely fake a smile when he glanced behind him to see Kaminari with a winter coat and reindeer antlers on with his arms crossed, and eyes squinting at him.
“How have I been?” He scoffed over the music. “Huh, I dunno. Maybe if you stuck around more often like you used to instead of avoiding me all week, you would know how I’ve been.”
Kirishima’s heart sped up. Here we go. “Look, I’m not avoiding you, okay? I-I just…uuuhhm…” He turned back to the tree with a sigh, and climbed a little ways up a step ladder to wrap his string lights around higher. “…Just go back to your job, okay? I can’t talk right now.” That last bit came out harsher than Kirishima intended, and he winced, not wanting to turn back around. He waited for Kaminari to lash out, but all he got was silence.
Until the blond appeared out of the corner of his eye.
“Uh-oh. I know that crappy tone of voice…. You know how much I hate to hear it. But hearing it now? Especially during this holiday season?”
Kirishima tensed.
“That tone of voice can only mean one thing. And I think you know what that is.”
Now, Kirishima knew that tone of voice, a tone from Denki that always made it hard for him to keep any lingering frown when in a mildly bad mood.
“Looks like someone~…” Kaminari continued in a sing-song voice.
“No, Kaminari. Not in the mood,” Kirishima lied, trying to hide a blooming, wobbly smile behind his arms as he kept wrapping around the string lights.
“…Like someone…” Kami repeated. “Wants to get tickshmizzled! Tickshmizzle time!”
“No, no - I don’t w-wahanna - get tihihickshmizzled!” Kirishima yelped with a sharp burst of laughter, jolting and trying to keep balance because Kaminari was spidering up and down his back. “Kaminari! I-I’m gonna fahahall!”
“If you stopped avoiding me in the first place, falling wouldn’t be a problem for you now!” Kaminari grabbed Kiri’s sides, a hold that tickled but also ensured he didn’t wiggle too much and fall. “Just come down!”
“Nohohoho! I’m trying to dehehecorate!”
“Hey, dunce face! If you're gonna be a dumbass and do that while Kiri’s on the ladder, at least go for his ribs.”
“Oh yeah, one step ahead of you, Bakugou!”
“Heeey! Bakugohohou!” Kiri’s giggles went up in pitch as he tried and failed to catch the wiggling and poking fingers all over his ribs.
“Kacchan!” Deku scolded quietly from his place next to Bakugou in the kitchen entryway with a spoon in hand. The two were on baking duty together.
Bakugou looked amused. “This is U. A., Deku. You either go hard, or go home, in everything you do.”
Deku watched Kiri and Kami continue their antics. Those two are always up to something. And Kacchan loves to egg them on, he thought with a shake of his head, wiping his sugary hand down on his apron, but then paused. Wait…speaking of eggs- Deku snapped out of it and ran back into the kitchen when he smelled something burning. “Ahh! I-I think we left the gingerbread in too long, and we forgot to add eggs to it, Kacchan!”
Bakugou stomped after him. “We?! The gingerbread’s your job, the cookies are mine!”
“See whahahat happens whehehen we’re dihihistracted? Stohohohop distracting me from my johohob!” Kirishima held onto one of the ladder’s edges with one hand and tried to use the other to defend himself.
“Nu-uh, this isn’t your job! You’re supposed to be out there with me on the roof lights! I know you swapped jobs with Mineta.” Kami shot his hand under one of Kiri’s arms, making his warm laughter louder than the holiday music, and the sound morphed his fake, irritated expression into a real smile. “Lying, too? Jeez, if you wanted to get tickshmizzled so bad, why didn't you just say so?”
“I’m nohohot - whohohhoa!!” Kiri’s squirming made one of his feet slip despite Denki’s hold on him, and he took the moment to jump off the ladder entirely before running out of the room.
“Finally! The target of my tickshmizzling’s abandoned ship!” the blond cheered, bolting after him.
“Yeah, I have! So leheheheave me alone!” Kiri laughed at the quick over-the-shoulder image he got of the very determined look on Denki’s face. “What do you want from me?!”
“For real, just tell me what I did!”
“Y-You didn’t do anything wrong!”
“Still lying! Cool. Have it your way then!”
They ran through the halls, past startled peers, and through horrified shouts from Iida advising them to please walk in the dorm, up and down stairs, in and out of each other’s bedrooms, then somehow the two ended up outside.
And how long had it been snowing, Kirishima wondered with awe, because last night there was nothing, and now there was a lot of snow falling and blanketing the earth; it was up to his shins as he plowed through it.
Then arms were around his torso followed by a head slamming into his back. The tackle forced Kirishima into the depths of the snow.
He felt like he was in cool quick sand, both thrilling and unsettling, as new tickles started alternating between his shoulders and neck. “HAHahahey! K-Kaminahahari, c’mohohon!”
“What, Kirishima? What, what, whaaat? ” Part of Kiri’s vision was blurred by the falling snow, but he could tell by Denki's voice that he was grinning from ear to ear. “What’re you complaining for?”
“You knohohohow!” Thanks to his sweater in addition to his skin, even when he wasn’t using his quirk, Kiri was never as bothered by the cold as the average person, and all his friends knew that. But still, the snow wasn’t exactly the best feeling in the world, and sometimes he liked to be dramatic. “I-I’m c-cohohold, mahahan!”
“Ha! I think you’ll survive!”
“Sahahays you! You’re w-wehehearing a coat!”
“Well - pfft, you got one, too!” Kaminari was referring to the coat Kirishima had quickly grabbed on instinct when they ran through his room, now tied around his waist. “If you’re so cold, put it on!”
“Okay! Juhuhust lehet mehehe - hehehaahay-!” Kiri tried, but being tickled silly wasn’t making the task of putting it on any easier; in the midst of unwrapping the coat from his waist and trying to slip it on, Denki kept attacking every tickle spot left unprotected, making the redhead a bundle of very unproductive laughter. “Knohohock it ohohoff! I’m gonna freeheeheeze!”
“Oh crap, can’t let that happen! Guess I gotta warm you up myself, huh? Chargebolt to the rescue!” Kaminari smirked.
“Wahahait!” The little buzzy, sparking sounds coming from Kami sent Kiri crawling immediately, snow flying in the air with his escape effort that was as fast as a sloth. “I t-tahahake it back! I’m wahaharm!”
“You sure~?”
“Yeah, yeah! I’m rea - zaahahaheHEHEHE! NohOHOHO, DEHEHENKAHAHA, I’M WAHAHAHARM!” Kiri was rolled onto his back and shrieking with laughter when tickle shocks pulsed into his tummy. They were light vibrations that truly did warm him up, but still tickled like crazy.
“Nice, now your tummy’s warm, but dang, your legs look like ice!” Kirishima was subject to more of the electric tickle monster’s wrath with each little zap. And honestly, Kirishima hadn’t realized how much he’d missed his friend’s carefree, silly tendencies until now.
Kiri managed to scramble to his knees, breathing heavily, hair damp with snow, and smiling resolutely. “Okay, you need to be warmed up, tooooo!” he battle cried, tackling the blond into a crushing tickle hug back into the snow. Kaminari squealed.
“Kihihiriii, I’m sehehriously f-freezing! I don’t hahahave your quihihirk!”
“Not my problem! Either tap out or man up!”
“Nehehever!”
“Oh yeah? Never to which thing?”
“Shuhuhut uhuhup!”
At some point their tickle fight became just wrestling until Kirishima noticed Kaminari’s crinkled eyes, that were so bright with giddy joy, became fixed on something to his left. Kiri followed his gaze and slowed to a stop.
Oh…
Oh, no.
Dammit. Kirishima’s stomach dropped as Kaminari slowly sat up.
“Hey, Kiri, what’s…”
“I-It’s nothing! I mean-” Lying a ways away from them was a silver and gold gift-wrapped box covered in snow. It was small. Small enough to fit into a coat pocket. It had fallen out of Kirishima’s coat pocket. He’d forgotten he left it there. He couldn’t look at Kaminari, just stared at the snow and balled his fists up.
“Okay, no use trying to hide it anymore. That’s…that’s your gift, all right? I was your secret Santa,” he finally mumbled as if confessing a crime.
“Oh.” Kaminari blinked. “Really? That’s for me?”
Kirishima nodded.
“…So…this is why you’ve been avoiding me?” Denki said quietly.
Kiri looked away. “I really suck at keeping secrets. Every year, my middle school would host Secret Santa gift exchanges, and somehow I’d always end up getting discovered by my person before Christmas. Every single time! So this year, I was determined not to let that happen, but...”
Guilt crept through Kaminari. “Oh man, I’m sorry. I had no idea you were hiding that… I don't have to open it now, or ever! Or, if you wanna, I can just pretend I didn't know you were my Santa when we all—”
“No. Faking it in front of everyone would be the unmanly thing to do, for both you and me. Besides, this was mostly on me. Heh. I should’ve thought to actually hide it somewhere.” After a moment, Kirishima grabbed the box, brushed the snow from it, and pushed it into Kaminari’s chest with a little smile. “Go ahead, might as well open it now.”
After some hesitation, Kaminari shredded the wrapping paper. His eyes widened and a gasp died in his throat. “Holy…! No you - you didn’t - you—”
Kirishima tilted his head, not expecting the magnitude of excitement on the blond’s face as he watched him stand up. “Uh, yeah, I kinda did—”
“Dude! This is the Ultimate, extremely limited edition Electro Portable and Wireless Pikachu Charger - do you understand?!” Kaminari said in a high-pitched voice. The charger, which was encased in a beautiful, sturdy glass box, could charge any smart device from up to six football fields away. Kaminari couldn’t stop staring at it. “Th…This one is only available twice a year…and you got it?”
“Yeah. I saw it online, bookmarked it, then made sure I was awake at the time it was officially available to order it before it sold out,” Kirishima explained. They weren’t incredibly expensive, just hard to get a hold of one. And just as he’d predicted, the charger had sold out in a matter of seconds the moment it became available for the second time this year, so it was a good thing he was a fast clicker.
Kaminari fumbled for words. “But…how did you even know I - that I wanted this?” Considering it was so hard to get, he’d never bothered talking about it to anyone.
“Well, I didn’t know, actually. Yeah, I know how much you love Pikachu, but other than that, I saw it and just thought it’d be good for you. Something you need, ya know?”
“Huh? Something I need?” The electric hero already had a less fancy charger.
Kirishima shrugged. “Well…you’re like a portable charger to all of us whenever we need it, and you do it without complaint, so….” He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled sheepishly. “I for one have sorta asked to use you as a charger a lot…and I’m sorry. I don’t want you to get the idea that that's all we see you as. We all appreciate you, charging help or not. So from now on, when you're on your own, you don’t have to rely on your old wall charger, and you can charge on the go without using your quirk all the time. I guess it’s just a little something that’ll be there for you like you are for us -ahh-!”
Kiri was stunned by the force of the hug he was pulled up into, but instantly felt much warmer again. He relaxed into it, hugged back. But his smile waivered a little when he felt Denki trembling slightly. He slowly began to rub his back.
“Hey…you okay, bro?” he whispered after a while.
“I’m good. Just…thank you. This is…this is awesome. I…” Denki took a shaky breath. His voice was much quieter than normal, barely audible. “No one’s ever bought me a gift like this one, y’know? Something that says ‘hey, I see you, you need a break to recharge, too’ - and not that you guys tire me to death with asking for charges or anything—” Denki quickly added. “It's just…just a killer gift. I love it.”
Kiri’s heart leapt for joy. He squeezed Denki tighter. “I’m glad, Denks.”
After a few more moments, Kaminari chuckled weakly through his sniffles. “Damn, I’m sorry. I dunno why I get all sappy this time of the year over everything. It happens every December, I swear. It’s so embarrassing. It’s only been a week of you steering clear of me, but I guess I missed you a little. And with it also being the holidays and stuff -”
“Nah, don’t apologize.” Kiri was surprised to feel tears trying to spring to his own eyes; his friend’s emotion was contagious. “It’s totally manly to cry. And I get it. I missed you, too.”
They kept their hug for a little longer with the snow continually falling like rain.
“Oh shoot.” Denki pulled out of their hug to grab his gift that had become buried again in the snow near their feet. “Better get this inside before it becomes an ice cube and breaks before I can even use it.”
“Meh. If it did, you wouldn’t have to worry about it. It comes with a two year warranty, and also a fifty percent off discount if you ever wanna buy another one of ‘em,” Kiri said nonchalantly.
Kaminari’s still misty eyes were glowing with awe again, and he beamed. “Ugh, you really gotta stop being so nice. How am I ever supposed to repay you?”
“Well…” Kirishima thought for a second, then grinned. “You can’t repay me. You know why?”
Kaminari raised an eyebrow. “Why?”
“Because for you…all of this…is free of charge.”
“…”
“Get it?”
“Kiri.”
“Free. Free of charge.” Kirishima was shaking with pent up mirth. “B-Because that gift is free for you, and now you won’t be charging things with your quirk as much either - so it’s -”
“Dude-”
“That’s such a good one! C’mon, that was perfect!” Kirishima shouted and burst out laughing up at the sky. “Free of charge, free of charge! All of it is free of charge!”
“I get it, jeez, stop, you’re seriously so freaking cringey.” Kaminari snickered, slipping his gift into his own coat pocket and then playfully shoving the redhead.
“What? Not as cringey as you, Tickshmizzler pants.” Kirishima smirked and punched his arm.
“Ow! Ohoho, you’re asking for another tickshmizzling, I see!”
Kiri ran off. “I don’t know about that!”
Needless to say, with all the physical exertion, the two, and Denki’s present, stayed warm for the rest of their time outside.
Between You and Me
That’s where Dean’s happiest.
Dean is gonna have a night off whether he likes it or not. Perhaps the efforts of two of his favorite people will convince him. @wordstrings, it’s been an honor to be your Squealing Santa this year, and I beg you pardon the late gift 😅 It’ll have to be a Christmas/New Year’s gift to double the fun. I do hope it’s worth the wait and makes you smile! As always, thank you to @ticklygiggles for being this event’s awesome host and keeping it going each year ♥️ Happy Holidays to all, and to all a Merry Squealing Santa!
SFW. Potential warnings: none. Supernatural, Dean/Benny/Cas tickle fic.
Word count: 5,595
~*~
As was ever irritatingly more frequent the older he got, Dean was ready to park the car, get out, and fall asleep on any bed he landed on. Now, he was justified; he hadn’t quite reached the level of post-forty fatigue that incapacitated him after a figurative or, more concerningly or laughably, literal milk run. He and Sam had spent most of the night chasing a trio of ghouls between the cemeteries of four small Idaho towns, and then, when that was sorted, driven through the morning back to Kansas. And then, when they’d barely pulled the Impala into the bunker garage, Sam’s phone had picked up a blip of what looked like vampire activity in northern Illinois. Sam had tucked and rolled out of the car to nurse yet another bungled shoulder, and Dean was back on the highway to see if he could turn a head-start into a finished job before Sam’s first pain meds had worn off.
But in the morning. That’s when he’d make use of the head-start. For the night, he just wanted to sleep.
He silenced Baby’s purring engine and grabbed an overnight duffel from the back seat. The Impala’s keys, he slipped into one pocket, and he pulled his motel room key out of another. After unlocking the door, he edged slowly into the room, hackles habitually raised with no one watching his back. Thankfully, it was as clean and dark and typical as any other motel room, complete with a kitchenette to make coffee in when morning came, a bed to flop down onto and not move for hours, and a tv to provide cable static lullabies to fall asleep to.
Ready to be unconscious as soon as possible—but more likely after ordering some late dinner and showering to scrub away any sneaky ghoul viscera he’d missed that morning—Dean flicked on the light, set his duffel on the bed closest to him, and turned to close the door.
Nothing could have woken him up so much as the telltale sound of fluttering wings behind him in the kitchenette. Dean all but whirled around, hazel-green eyes alight as he beheld the trenchcoated angel who had appeared.
Castiel was already smiling at the expression of blatant surprise and delight Dean wore, the dark-haired man’s eyes crinkled at the corners. “Hello, De—mmph!” His usual greeting was cut off by a much more exuberant ‘hello’ from Dean, which involved introducing their lips with such fervor that it sent the angel back against the fridge behind him. When Dean did pull away, able only to bear the distance between their touching foreheads, Cas chuckled gently. “Hello.”
“Hello, yourself,” Dean replied, winding one hand in Cas’ hair and pressing the other upon his lower back as he pulled him closer for more hello kisses.
Eventually, Cas had to pull back, leaning his head against the refrigerator with a smile spread across his rosy cheeks. Dean was not deterred, kissing down Cas’ jaw and neck until the angel chuckled fondly. “Are you waiting for an invitation?”
Dean looked up at him, confused but ready to offer a sarcastic but flirty reply, and saw that Castiel’s blue eyes were not on him, but on the door he suddenly realized he hadn’t shut. He followed the direction of Cas’ grin, his own smile widening once more.
From where he stood in the door, Benny grinned crookedly. “Am I not allowed to enjoy the view?” After a beat, he cleared his throat. “But, also, yes, being invited into the room to take part in this little reunion would be nice.”
The vampire’s joke got Cas’ nose to scrunch in a smirk and Dean to huff out a laugh. “Get your ass over here, then,” said Dean, an eager little trill zipping down his spine when Benny entered the room, shut the door, and beelined toward him.
“With pleasure,” Benny purred, grabbing Dean by the belt loops of his jeans and pulling him into another equally breathtaking hello kiss.
“I—” Dean started to say when they parted from the kiss, only to be struck dumb with a happiness that made his chest ache as he looked between Benny and Cas. “How? How are you guys here? Sammy and me were—?”
“Sam may have passed on the address of your motel,” Benny shrugged, trying to look innocently despite how the corners of his lips twitched.
“After telling you of some convincing evidence of a lead down here,” Cas added.
Dean blinked as that information slotted into his brain. “That little shit’s shoulder is fine, isn’t it?” he said, shaking his head.
“Afraid you’ve been duped, darlin’,” Benny laughed.
“So the case—?”
“Was only slightly fabricated,” Cas confirmed.
“I mean, there is vampire activity here, so it wasn’t a total lie,” Benny added with a snicker.
“Sam agreed to tell you whatever would convince you to make the drive here.”
“But, before that, he had said that you needed a break, which we were happy to help with.”
“Guys—” Dean said. His mind was still spinning from having been tricked, however benevolently. It was almost out of instinct that he tried to interrupt, to slow down the tide of fondness just to stubbornly insist that he didn’t need a break; he was fine, really. Deep down, he counted himself profoundly lucky that his significant others didn’t let him get a word in edgewise and let him convince himself of that—that he was fine, that he didn’t want a break—too.
“You have a free night, Dean,” Cas said, laying a hand on Dean’s shoulder with a gentle smile. “We promise, we wouldn’t ask you away from something important.”
“Even if it’s for something as important as this,” Benny nodded, drawing Dean’s gaze once more by reaching to cradle his jaw with one hand.
“Have this night with us—”
“Or two.” Benny’s hand trailed down Dean’s chest and to his hip, grin audible in his voice even as Dean’s eyelids fluttered shut with a sigh. “Or three, or four, or—”
“Rest,” said Cas, a smile in his words as well, his hand moving to hold Dean’s lower back in case the mix of driving fatigue and teasing hands would be enough to knock the poor hunter out at the knees. “And we’ll send you off in the morning to chase the next case. But, for now, rest and—”
“GUYS.” At last, Dean’s interruption was loud enough to silence them, but he didn’t fill the empty space right away. He’d always been good at thinking on his feet and adapting to his surroundings, but, shit, they’d really caught him off guard with this loving ambush. Going from irritable from the drive to elated at the reunion to dizzy from all the talking and touching—it was a lot to adapt to. In that moment of silence, Dean took a breath, and felt something else expanding with the air in his chest. Happy. He was happy, so happy. And, tonight, he could just let himself be happy. Dean’s smile grew so fast and wide that it nearly split his cheeks, and he pulled Benny and Cas in for a hug. They adapted much more quickly, their chins hooked over either of his shoulders and their chuckling breath ruffling the hair on the back of Dean’s head. “Thank you.” In the next beat of content silence as the hunter looked over his boyfriends’ shoulders, Dean’s brows furrowed, though his smile stayed big and bright. “How are all three of us gonna fit on that bed?”
Benny hummed, angling his head so as to press a nuzzly kiss to Dean’s neck. “Guess we’ll have to get cozy.”
With a snicker, Dean tried to dodge the scruffy kisses, only to be met with hands holding his back and Cas waiting on the other side to dote similarly.
“Oh, I think we can manage that,” Cas agreed, the tip of his nose brushing Dean’s ear and his stubble tickling Dean’s neck.
Dean did wriggle out of their arms then, knowing if he let himself indulge in their nearness too early, he’d never hear nor want the end of it. Even as he cleared his throat to bury the snickers that wanted to spill out when they kissed his neck, Dean knew he was still sporting a grin and a flushed pink behind his freckles. “Only after I shower. Feel like I still got ghoul stink on me, and I wouldn’t want you guys to deal with that.”
Cas pouted, his eyes still fixed on Dean’s neck and the flush creeping down it, and ironically had to have his attention diverted by the resident vampire.
“You hit the shower and get comfy, sugar,” said Benny, hooking a hand around Cas’ elbow but winking at Dean as they made their way back to the door. “Me and Cas’ll rustle up some dinner for you.”
At the mention of food, Dean’s stomach grumbled gratefully. “Thanks.”
As the door closed behind the pair, Dean went to root through his duffel from some cleaner clothes. With fresh sweatpants, boxers, and a t-shirt under one arm, he paused to text Sam with his free hand. First was the usual all-clear and confirmation of having arrived at a motel, and then something for the occasion, calling Sam a little shit and a bad liar, but thanking him nonetheless. Sam just sent back a smiley face.
With how quickly his life could turn from delightfully dull to monstrously busy, Dean could be quite precious about his free time. Especially showers. Before living in the bunker, he’d nearly always have to cut showers short to save hot water for Sam or another hunting buddy, or because they were on a severe time crunch. His hurry today wasn’t begrudging, though. Nice and refreshing as the shower water felt, he was eager for what would come after, the time he got to spend with his two favorite people. Dean may have been too excited, though, as Benny and Cas hadn’t returned by the time he hopped out of the shower, toweled off, and changed clothes. No fuss to be had about that; Dean was sure he could entertain himself. He set his duffel on the floor and took its place on the bed, lounging comfortably after leaning over to grab from his bag his laptop and, as an afterthought, his dad’s hunting journal. It was his free time, Dean reasoned; he could spend a little of it poking around the web for the next possible case.
Dean had barely had his laptop open for ten minutes before he heard the lock in the motel door click, and he swore under his breath as he scrambled to shut the device and his journal before stuffing both under his pillow. He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned his head back against the wall, closing his eyes and trying to look nonchalant as the door opened.
“Well, look how good you listen,” Benny teased, and Dean opened his eyes just to roll them. And then widen them eagerly when Cas set a greasy-bottomed diner takeout bag on the kitchenette table. “Thought we’d have to pin you down for the whole weekend to get you to relax.”
With a chuckle, Dean pushed himself up from his bed, diverting the path to his dinner to pause and plant grateful kisses on Benny’s and then Cas’ cheeks. “Oh, the commander knows I can follow orders if I want to,” Dean said as he sat at the table, waggling his eyebrows at the angel.
Cas’ ears visibly reddened, and he avoided all eyes as he sat down on the edge of the bed Dean had vacated.
Benny sat across from him on the opposite bed, bumping their knees together with a grin. “Feel like that’s a story I definitely need to hear.”
“I would rather go back to talking about pinning Dean down for the weekend,” Cas said, casting a half-hearted glare toward Dean when the hunter snickered.
Said glare slid easily to Benny when the vampire shrugged and sat back on his hands. “If you command it, I won’t argue.”
Dean couldn’t help but laugh between bites of his burger at Benny’s prodding and its resulting in Cas sending his glare heavenward. “We’ve got all weekend, Benny. Plenty of time to tell you that story.”
“I’m lookin’ forward to it.”
After such long stretches of driving in quiet or to worn cassettes he tuned out after the third play, Dean always forgot how nice it was to just listen to familiar voices converse. So, when the silence awaiting Cas’ response stretched on, Dean looked up, only to nearly choke on a fry. The angel’s conscious attempts to avert his gaze from teasing eyes had ended up with him noticing the disturbed pillow on the bed beside him, and it had piqued his interest enough to reach beneath it and pull out the still-warm laptop. It was Dean who had to look away then, pretending to be very interested in his half-gone meal, when Cas sighed, not having to open the laptop to know what Dean had been using it for. “Oh, Dean.”
“What?” said Dean, who couldn’t save himself from replying by continuing to eat when his mouth was suddenly dry. “Nothing. It’s porn.”
Benny snorted at that, reaching over to grab the journal from under the pillow as well, turning it over in his hands and realizing what Dean had been trying to hide. The vampire shook his head and tsked. “I was joking, but maybe pinnin’ him down for the weekend is the best thing we can do to get him to relax.”
With a hum, Cas nodded. “I agree. Especially if we tickle him. He won’t want to do anything else, then.”
“Oh?”
It was hard for Dean to chew when his heart was pounding in his ears. While, yes, Cas was right—Dean being pinned under his two much stronger partners and tickled until he was too hoarse to make excuses about a hunter’s work never being done and too happy to want to do anything but cuddle was probably the only way they could get him to relax—he didn’t have to talk about it so casually. Not when just thinking the word made giddy butterflies take flight in Dean’s stomach, made him ache for touch (even more than usual). The hunter swallowed, cleared his throat. “Don’t talk about me like I’m not here.” Even he could hear how thin his voice sounded, knew how unconvincing the statement was when heat flushed up the back of his neck.
Dean had finished his fries before he realized the silence was stretching on again, and, when he looked up, he realized that Cas and Benny had taken his words as a request to not talk at all, and instead to just watch and wait for him to finish eating, their smirks patient and hungry.
“Okay, that’s worse.”
At least, some of the tension making Dean’s neck hairs rise dissipated when Benny snickered at that. Dean was able to duck his head before his cheeks went too pink, busying himself with the tv remote conveniently on the table beside him. His food was fully gone, and he was in a vulnerable state with nothing to focus on other than his companions.
“Dean,” said Cas.
Taking the last swig of his beer, Dean hummed in reply.
“Don’t make me make you come here.”
Suddenly, Dean was standing before them, hands in his pockets and lower lip between his teeth. Logically, he knew he must have cleaned up his dishes, turned away long enough for Cas to have miracled the beds together and for he and Benny to have moved to sit at the foot of the now single huge bed. He knew Cas hadn’t made him approach, but had let him. Hopefully the last thing he’d need the strength for that night, to let himself be vulnerable.
Cas stood up to cradle Dean’s jaw in his hands, blue eyes warm and gentle. A twitch of the angel’s lip was the only warning Dean had before the hunter was thrown and tackled to the bed, pinned beneath Cas’ wait laying atop him as well as two devilish grins. Between the long stiff hours of driving and now the excitement bubbling in his chest, Dean couldn’t help but struggle under Cas’ hold, even as his own smile grew wide and his heart hammered happily. Practiced and powerful, Cas was unfazed by Dean’s wriggling, holding fast by crab-clawing his hands down Dean’s sides and diving in to kiss his neck when the hunter’s head fell back in merry chortles.
“Thought angels were supposed to be more graceful,” Benny teased when Cas’ hands got too near Dean’s waist, making the hunter shriek and buck and nearly unseat the angel.
“By definition only,” Cas replied with a chuckle. His hands abandoned their downward trek in order to pin one of Dean’s wrists and scribble under his arm. Dean wailed and flailed and gripped the back of Cas’ coat with his free hand, writhing out of reflex but clinging so as not to get too far away. “But, please, you are welcome to demonstrate more grace while tickling him.”
“Oh, it would be my pleasure.”
Dean couldn’t even properly catch his breath when Cas withdrew his hands and rolled off him, too busy already giggling and stammering, “Wait, wait wait—!”
Benny’s fangs were sheathed, but Dean would have sworn he saw them gleaming as Benny swung a leg over Dean’s thighs to take Cas’ place holding him down. “No can do, darlin’.” The hands Dean had instinctively wound in the collar of Benny’s shirt, Benny gently pried loose, kissing the pulses in Dean’s wrists—thundering in panic and delight—before clasping their hands together and pinning Dean’s down on either side of his head. “I’ve got a lot of time to make up for, bein’ as Cas got longer to get familiar with all your lovely spots, don’t you think?”
When Benny’s eyes meandered down from Dean’s face to his chest to his stomach, the pinned hunter wriggled subconsciously. “As much time as I have with his!” Dean said, his wobbly smile going smug for the briefest second when he saw Cas blush in his periphery.
Relief like the scorching sun dipping behind a passing cloud fell over Dean when Benny’s teasing grin was aimed at Cas. “That so? Angel’s ticklish, too?”
“Another time,” said Cas rather than affirm or deny.
Benny tipped his head and turned his gaze back to Dean. “You’re right. For now, it’s all about Dean.”
And Dean was burning all over again. He was sure Benny would be able to almost taste the hunter’s blood for how it rushed to his cheeks when Benny leaned down to whisper lowly in Dean’s ear.
“Uh-oh, big bad hunter,” Benny crooned, grinning all the wider when Dean’s legs twitched under him in a half-hearted attempt at escape. “Looks like a monster’s finally gonna catch you. Why fight it?”
“Because—!” But Dean could squeak out no more of an excuse when Benny growled playfully and moved Dean’s hands higher, fully extending the pinned hunter’s arms above his head on the bed. The vampire hardly needed to hold them down for how jellylike Dean felt his arms becoming.
Benny’s growl transitioned seamlessly into a gravelly chuckle that made the hairs on Dean’s arms rise. “Why fight it, if that’s really all the fight you’re gonna give?”
Dean’s heart was pounding loud enough to fill the space his lack of response left vacant, loud enough for one soul-attuned angel and one keen-eared vampire to hear clearly as eager and elated rather than fearful and flighty.
“Good,” said Benny, brushing the tip of his nose against Dean’s, smile softening but still crooked with mischief. “No need to fight this monster.” His gaze slid toward Cas. “But just in case…”
Cas must have taken the hint, because one touch to his wrist and Dean felt his arms freeze in place under a blanket of grace. Dean wanted to groan, but his breath was stolen as Benny sat back, fingertips winding a teasing trail down his arms, hopscotching over his armpits, and coming to rest on his chest.
With a wink, Benny moved from atop Dean in favor of reclining alongside him. “Thanks, Cas. Feels like you’ll be able to critique my tickle monstering better like this, don’t you think?”
“Mm,” Cas agreed, smiling as he mirrored Benny’s position on Dean’s left side. His eyes sought Dean’s, listening with ear and soul for even the tiniest flicker of dissent from the hunter. Dean’s cheeks flushed impossibly warmer when he realized Cas would find none; Benny had been right about there being no fight in Dean for tonight.
After the adrenaline rush of anticipation Dean had been riding, it was a relief to laugh when his partners finally attacked. Uncoordinated at first, just because he’d been wrecked by Cas’ fingers so many times while Benny was new to this play, but by no means ineffective. Dean instinctively tried to hide his flustered face and stifled giggles as Cas’ fingers fluttered devastatingly and delicately around his belly and along his ribs—the angel’s favorite places to start when he was planning on giving Dean tickly affection for a good long while. The hunter tried to bite his lip against a squeal when Benny’s calloused but gentle hands tickled under his arms and down his side. Dean was used to Cas’ style, quick and featherlight with occasional bout of merciless tasering or squeezing; Benny’s was another matter entirely. Unhurried and relishing every titter, Benny set his hands dancing with the gait of a slow starburst, blunt fingernails sweeping over every jumping nerve as they moved in and extended out. When those lazy but evil spiders focused all their attention under Dean’s arms and along his chest, Dean snorted and ground his heels into the mattress before succumbing to broad-grin chortles that had him throwing his head back against the pillow.
When his eyes weren’t scrunched tight from the width of his smile, Dean occasionally caught the fond gazes of his partners, eyes glowing with warmth at seeing him so happy. Dean couldn’t have said if that was more flustering, or the fact that Cas was coaching and encouraging Benny’s technique every so often with a nod or a chuckle. When the angel tipped his head, Benny followed, and Dean’s gasping reprieve lasted about two seconds before their hands zeroed in on his lower stomach and set him wriggling with a fresh bout of quaking laughter. The ticklers’ hands danced around one another atop the soft pudge under Dean’s navel, Cas’ fingers fluttering quick and digging in sporadically like a sudden rain while Benny’s slow and steady and unyielding movements crossed Dean’s skin like thunder. Together, they had Dean cackling and twitching like his nervous system had been struck by lightning; if the rest of him was washed away in the deluge, he wouldn’t have noticed, too enamored with the touch of his lovers and the laughter ache in his chest.
Dean didn’t see the signal to do so, but he felt both pair of hands withdraw from his belly, albeit leaving teasing phantom tickles still tingling under his skin, as well as Cas’ index and middle finger touching the hunter’s sternum and blessing him with a rush of healing air into his heaving lungs. It was like a second wind, rejuvenating his body that had gone pleasantly and familiarly boneless and peaceful from laughing so hard but not diminishing the increased sensitivity in his nerve endings from the session either. It was good, since, when his sweatpants were shimmied down just enough to bare his hips, the hunter’s fight or flight instinct would have kicked in and sent him torquing against his bonds whether or not he had the energy for it.
It wasn’t the thunder-and-rain fingers that touched down on his most ticklish spots, though. No, it was lips, soft and warm and framed with scruff, that doted his hips with featherlight affection and made Dean howl. Stubbly kisses were everything good and everything awful all at once. One part soft kisses that, on his hip bones, usually had him giggling and melting, and one part scratching that had him thrashing and shrieking. Without pausing in planting kisses, Cas touched Dean’s thigh, divinely locking it in place to prevent Dean from interrupting the torturous attention he so loved. Jerk.
Dean hadn’t meant the thought to slip out—he wasn’t exactly thinking coherently enough to be aware of thoughts beyond ‘breathe’ and ‘please’—but Cas evidently took the insult as insolence worthy of further playful punishment, because the angel bit back. Literally. Delicately and deliciously, Cas nibbled along the outer ridge of Dean’s hip, nuzzling the bowl of the bone with his stubble as he went. Add to that Benny taking advantage of Dean’s frozen leg to tickle the underside of his thigh, and Dean was screaming. Only briefly though, as the onslaught was intense enough to drive him to silent, wheezing hysteria in seconds. No heavenly mercy could save him from this gay wrath. Not that he ever wanted it to.
He was only human, though, and, when his first bout of being tickled to ecstasy needed to wrap up to keep his lungs from popping with exhaustion, Cas nodded to Benny, and the tickling and binding grace faded away, leaving Dean to catch his breath through raw-throated gasps and a lasting dopey smile. Cas sent another rush of air into his lungs, and Benny kissed his way up Dean’s side, and they both lay alongside him for a cuddle as he came down from cloud nine.
“Now,” said Cas, brushing tears from Dean’s eyes and hair from his forehead, only to chuckle when Dean groped for the angel’s and the vampire’s hands to hold, “what have you learned from this?”
The hunter’s deep exhale was still wobbly with giggles as he replied, grinning, “There’s way more fun things to do on vacation than research.”
“In the ballpark,” Benny snickered.
Cas shook his head with a small smile. “We can try again tomorrow.” His smile only grew as Dean’s heart cantered excitedly at the thought. “First, you should sleep.”
Dean’s eyes usually got heavy after a thorough tickling, but, as he glanced over Benny at the bedside clock, he saw it was definitely late enough to turn in for the night. He almost felt bad for having had dinner so late, but the workout he’d just gone through took the guilt away. He was too happy to care, anyway.
“We tucker you out enough, darlin’?” Benny teased, pressing a kiss to Dean’s temple when the hunter hummed affirmatively. “Okay. Don’t fall asleep before I get back though, alright?”
Dean turned on his side to snuggle his back into Cas’ chest and properly enjoy the view as Benny got up to walk away. Only then did Dean’s eyebrows furrow. It was sleep time; sleep time meant snuggle time, even if Dean was the only member of the trio who needed sleep.
“Cas,” said Benny over his shoulder, “be a dear and hand me our suitcase?”
The angel lifted a hand to snap his fingers before slipping an arm around Dean’s waist. In a blink, a change of nightclothes appeared in Benny’s hand.
With a nod, Benny stepped into the bathroom and shut the door with a smile and a, “Thank you kindly.”
Dean leaned back into Cas’ arms, closing his eyes as the angel kissed the freckles up the back of his neck. The hunter felt warm inside and out. On one hand, he wanted to sleep so tomorrow would come faster, so his boyfriends weekend could continue. On the other hand, he wanted to stay wrapped up in the safety and serenity and afterglow of that moment forever.
Benny returned in clothes that would be more comfortable to lay down in and swapped places with Cas as Dean’s big spoon. Cas could have snapped his fingers and just given himself and Benny some pajamas, but, Dean knew, they were all quite sappy about the feeling of domesticity and comfort of returning to their partners awaiting them. Getting up from a snuggle sandwich for any reason was often laborious, but getting to walk back to it and see a space left open to be filled was as sweet as rejoining the cuddle itself.
His eyes have closed of their own accord as he mused amidst his leftover giggle-high, Dean jumped a little when Benny’s hand around his waist began to make slow, lazy laps under Dean’s shirt and around his belly button.
“Vampires are gluttons, you know, Dean,” Benny whispered, kissing Dean’s pink-tinged ear. “Seeing you laugh like that, I just might not be able to resist.”
Dean curled up, ducking his head away from Benny’s lips but not escaping the shivers his words left behind. “Benny,” he huffed, too tired to hold back a few giggles.
“Shh,” Benny teased, pulling Dean back against his chest and finding little resistance. “You don’t want to ruffle Cas’ feathers now, do ya? You’re supposed to be resting.”
The hunter was about to bite back that he had been resting before a certain vampire had roused him, but Dean bit his lip instead. “Ruffling his feathers is a good start.”
Benny’s hand slowed to a stop, and he leaned in interestedly. “What did ya say, sugar?”
“You asked before if Cas was ticklish,” Dean said, closing his eyes once more with a grin. “He showed you my worst spot, so I’m returning the favor.”
“Good to know,” Benny chuckled. “After we get you some breakfast tomorrow, maybe you can give me a tour of his sensitivities yourself, though I know I can take your word for it. S’more fun, don’t you think?”
Dean nodded, pinching his lips together when Benny’s fingers began skating around his stomach once more.
“Unless you feel awake enough to show me now. Otherwise, I’m happy to keep doing this.” Benny’s little finger brushed the edge of Dean’s hip, and the hunter jumped again. Euphoric as the evening’s play had left him, Dean knew he needed to sleep, which wouldn’t happen if he let Benny indulge his tickle-hungry tendencies anymore tonight. However, drifting off to the sound of Cas’ low giggles—that, Dean knew he could do.
When Cas returned, he lay down facing Dean, enveloping him into the cuddle and kissing his collarbone before drawing up the blankets. Perhaps he’d thought Dean had drifted off already, because he twitched in surprise when Dean encircled and arm under and around the angel’s back, pulling him tight against himself with a yawn.
“Cas, I’m sorry for this.”
Dean’s eyes were still closed, but he could practically hear Cas’ brow furrow. “For—?” And then rise sharply when Dean’s hand, splayed upon Cas’ upper back, began to scribble languidly between his shoulder blades. “Dean—!”
“Benny’s threatening me.”
“I wasn’t threatening,” Benny chuckled, shifting to look over Dean’s shoulder and watch the angel pinch his lips together on a smile. “I was teasing.”
“So I have to show him where to tickle you until I fall asleep.”
Cas groaned, and Dean couldn’t help but crack an eye open when the angel let slip a few stray giggles.
Dean kissed Cas’ cheek, wrapping his other hand around the back of Cas’ thigh to hitch it up and within reach of impish fingers. “Don’t pretend you don’t love it.”
The angel pressed his forehead against Dean’s, smiling big enough now that his eyes shut and his nose scrunched up. “I—! I didn’t say that; I just want you to get some rest—!”
“I am resting. My eyes are closed,” Dean replied, making it so. He didn’t need to see anyway, not to scritch his fingers up the side of Cas’ thigh and over to the edge of his shoulder where he knew the best spots hid. “I’m sleep-tickling.”
“And sleep-teaching,” Benny added, audibly grinning down at the pair of them. “Real well, too.”
Cas seemed to resign himself to his fate, squishing his face half into the pillows and half into Dean’s chest, thankfully able to keep anything louder than gentle, low laughter at bay since Dean was targeting his worst spots with only light touches. Dean sighed as Cas’ sweet chuckles rumbled against his chest, spurred from the blissful hum only when Benny snickered in his ear and gave an encouraging pinch to his hip. The vampire wasn’t mean about it either; Dean knew when his fingers were slowing and could tell Benny was just gauging if he was still awake. For as long as he could, Dean hung on to the heavenly moment of shared warmth and laughter and contentment, but Cas’ giggles were growing quieter, and Benny was playing with Dean’s hair, and their breathing was slowing to keep time with his, and eventually Dean couldn’t help but drift off into sleep.
He'd wake to find himself still wrapped in Benny and Cas’ embrace, complaining about a stiff spine and arms until they tickled the morning grumpiness out of him. They’d lain all night with him, after all, just to keep Dean company even as he slept, to sandwich him in safety and sweetness. What had he learned, when asked that morning? That he had the best partners ever.
Coffee Break {Oda and Chuuya ft. Dazai}
A/N: Ahhhh hello hello! @eclipsetickles, I was your squealing santa this year! :D I hope you enjoy this fic, i had a ton of fun writing it! I hope you don’t mind but I also included a little bit of Dazai in this fic just because I think he’s neat hehe. Big thanks to Mia @ticklygiggles for hosting this year! I hope everyone has a lovely holiday season and enjoys!!
Summary: Oda is on babysitting duty today, but a few shenanigans ensue before the mission.
Word Count: 1.5k (under the cut)
“Oh, you’re up,” Oda said softly, looking up from his book. Chuuya rubbed the back of his neck, nodding his head, still looking a bit sleepy.
Oda had been put on a different mission today compared to his normal clean-up work for the Port Mafia. Dazai and Chuuya had a relatively simple task today, but they wanted Oda to be there because of his relationship with Dazai. Chuuya had only joined the Port Mafia recently, having come from the Sheep. Dazai and Chuuya were both unpredictable, and Oda was basically on babysitting duty for the two of them.
“You’re up too, old man. Why are you here?” Chuuya said, trying to make his tone sharp despite the grogginess that clouded his voice.
Oda stood, tucking his book away as he looked over at Dazai’s room, where there was still no Dazai. Oda sighed. Dazai never wanted to get up early, especially any time before seven.
Chuuya stretched his arms, tilting from side to side as Oda looked down at him. He was short, even for someone his age. He knew that he and Dazai were supposedly partners now, and Dazai had told him a little bit about him when they were at the Bar Lupin.
“Do you need any coffee?” Oda suggested, noticing Chuuya yawn. Chuuya quickly shut his mouth, not finishing his yawn as he turned away from Oda, crossing his arms.
“Coffee sounds fine I guess…”
Oda nodded his head and looked one last time at Dazai’s room. He still hadn’t come out, but he’d manage to find them when he did eventually wake up.
Oda led Chuuya down the hallway and down an elevator to one of the Port Mafia’s lounge rooms. There was a small morning bar there, and Oda walked behind it to start on some coffee as Chuuya sat down in one of the seats opposite him.
Chuuya watched Oda lazily, seeming to wake up a little bit more when the smell of coffee filled the room. Oda set the cup down in front of him, pushing a sugar cube tray and the small container of cream towards him. Oda watched as Chuuya picked up a sugar cube and threw it in. Then another. Then another.
He added about ten – Oda had lost count after the sixth one. He poured in a little bit of cream and stirred it, taking a sip before leaning back with content.
Oda hummed, pouring his own cup. “You’re gonna get more of a kick from the sugar than the caffeine,” He said flatly, and Chuuya nearly spit out his coffee back into the cup before he glared at Oda.
“Hah?”
Oda’s coffee cup suddenly became heavy, too heavy. He dropped it and it shattered on the counter, ceramic and coffee going everywhere. Chuuya smirked.
Oda had heard about Chuuya’s ability to manipulate gravity, and he presumed that the coffee mug falling out of his grip had only been a small fraction of his true power. Chuuya took another sip of his sickeningly sweet coffee and Oda raised an eyebrow.
Oda started to pour himself another glass of coffee, ignoring the mess that Chuuya had just created. He took a sip, humming at the slightly bitter taste. Chuuya stared at him with an odd expression, something akin to confusion as he took a sip of his own coffee slowly.
Chuuya was slightly perplexed by Oda’s reaction, how he hadn’t even seemed to care. Chuuya clicked his tongue in annoyance.
They finished their coffees in silence, which Oda finally broke. “Dazai sure sleeps in, doesn’t he?”
Chuuya scoffed. “It’s because he’s an idiot. He needs more time to recover his brain cells, so he sleeps longer.”
Oda couldn’t stop a dry chuckle as Chuuya grinned smugly, tossing his hands about.
“I could go on about why he’s an idiot, like how he spends most of his paycheck on bandages or how he eats watermelon rinds… ugh,” Chuuya cringed when he remembered Dazai eating an entire watermelon rind, and Oda looked at Chuuya curiously.
“I thought everyone ate the watermelon rind?”
“You too? Well, I guess if you spend enough time with Dazai you’re gonna become an idiot too…”
“Don’t you spend a lot of time with Dazai?”
Chuuya’s eye twitched. “Are you calling me an idiot?”
Oda shrugged. Chuuya huffed, folding his arms across his chest and leaning back in his chair. He misjudged how much he could lean, however, and fell backwards with a yelp. Oda quickly ran around the bar to where Chuuya had landed, reaching out to help him up. Chuuya was rubbing the back of his head when Oda grabbed his bicep to lift him, Chuuya letting out another yelp.
“That looks like it hurt. Are you alright?”
Oda didn’t let go of Chuuya until he was standing, which was proving difficult as he tried to wriggle away from Oda.
“Yes, I’m fine! Now let me go!” Chuuya demanded, and Oda did as he asked. Chuuya huffed again and crossed his arms. Oda looked at Chuuya with a mildly curious look and Chuuya quickly turned away.
“Let’s go wake up Dazai, he’ll sleep all day if he can.”
Oda placed a hand on Chuuya’s shoulder and stopped him, Chuuya turning his head to glare at Oda.
“What?”
Oda frowned, rubbing the back of his neck. “I didn’t mean to tickle you while I was helping you up, sorry.”
Chuuya immediately flushed pink, surprised at Oda’s keen instinct. He yanked his shoulder out of Oda’s hands, stomping off.
“You did not tickle me! I’m not ticklish, I just hurt myself falling down is all,” Chuuya insisted as he walked away, but he stopped when he heard Oda speak again.
“It’s okay to be ticklish. Dazai is too.”
“I already told you I’m not!”
“Not what?” Someone else's voice came, and Chuuya and Oda looked over to see Dazai entering the room, still in his pajamas as he yawned.
“Nothing-!”
“Not ticklish,” Oda said over Chuuya, who whipped around and glared at him. Dazai smirked and walked behind the bar, waving his hand around.
“Oh no, he’s very ticklish. You should try it, Odasaku~”
Chuuya was about to shout at Dazai, but all that came out was a squeak when Oda pinched Chuuya’s side. Dazai continued to pour his coffee as Chuuya slowly started to giggle, squirming around as Oda squeezed his sides gently.
“Dahammit old man! Dohohon’t!”
Oda hummed as he gently tickled Chuuya, not for any particular reason other than Dazai encouraged it. He also had to make sure that his skills hadn’t gotten rusty, and given by Chuuya’s reactions at the mild tickling, he definitely hadn’t.
Chuuya squirmed, trying to stomp on Oda’s feet, which he just moved out of the way. Dazai watched in amusement as the two seemed to dance almost, sipping his coffee. Oda climbed up to Chuuya’s ribs and he shrieked, clamping his arms down and kicking his legs.
“Nohoho! Dahahazai, hehelp!” Chuuya whined, embarrassed to be asking for help from Dazai, who only smiled at him.
“Let me finish my coffee first!”
“Fuhuhuck you!” Chuuya yelled, followed by a squeal as Oda used one hand to tweak his hip.
“Language,” He said flatly, and Chuuya shook his head as he laughed. Dazai laughed from behind the bar, though he could barely be heard over Chuuya’s own laughter.
Oda snuck his hands under Chuuya’s arms, making the redhead gasp. He squeezed his arms against his sides in an attempt to keep Oda from continuing, but he only succeeded in trapping his hands there as he scribbled his fingers around.
“Shihihit! Not thehehehere!”
“Why not?” Oda asked, his tone made it so that Chuuya was unable to determine whether it was meant to be a tease or was a genuine question. Chuuya flailed, shaking his head.
“Ahahahahasshole!”
Dazai whistled from behind the bar as he watched the scene, a smug grin on his face as he watched Chuuya’s face slowly turn pink as Oda continued to wiggle his fingers under his arms.
Oda swept down to Chuuya’s hips, making him shriek and buck as he grabbed Oda’s wrists. He wiggled around and his knees nearly buckled, but he still couldn’t escape those menacing fingers. Oda hummed.
“You weren’t kidding, Dazai,” He said, and Chuuya flared up.
“Shuhuhut up!”
Chuuya was practically dancing as he tried to escape Oda’s grasp, cursing and threatening him all the while as Dazai finally finished his coffee.
“All done! Odasaku, we should get going, shouldn’t we?”
Oda nodded and pulled his hands away from Chuuya, who nearly fell to his knees as he wheezed and continued to giggle softly, crossing his arms across his body in an attempt to protect himself as he glared at Oda.
“I’ll make you regret that,” He declared, and Oda hummed thoughtfully.
“Will you?”
Chuuya gritted his teeth, about to say something else when he felt his hat being snatched off of his head, and he whipped around to see Dazai running off as he cheered.
“Oi!” He yelled, but then turned back to Oda. “We’re not done here.”
He chased after Dazai and Oda rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t help a mild smile that crept up his face. The babysitting task had begun.
Baking Something Sweet
AN: Merry Christmas! I really tried to get this out on Christmas even though I’ve been super busy with family & cooking/baking. @local-trash-arts I hope you enjoy! I was your Squealing Santa & loved getting to write for Demon Slayer! Have a Christmas cookie from me to you, & happy holidays everyone!
Ah the holidays. Such a wonderful time to spend time with friends and family. So many festivities to partake in: shopping, watching Christmas movies, looking at Christmas lights, and most importantly the baking. It was Christmas and Inosuke, along with Tanjiro, finished off the last of the cookies. Nezuko's muffled scolding could be heard from the other room, drawing Zenitsu closer. He peered inside the kitchen, watching as she smacked both boys over and over, shoving them out of the room.
"S-sorry Nezuko, we couldn't help ourselves! They're just so good!" Tanjiro apologized, trying to appeal to her with compliments. She shook her head, blocking them from the kitchen. Anyone could see that she was angry, and Zentisu just had to come to the rescue.
"Hey what did you do to her? Leave her alone!" he cried out, wedging himself between them to shield her.
"Nothing, she's just mad because we ate the rest of the cookies," Tanjiro explained, leaning away from m his weak swats. "H-hey, I got an idea, why don't you help her make more!"
“Mmhmm!” Nezuko nodded, hooking arms as she leaned into him. He held back a squeal, tensing up as his face turned red before melting into the touch.
"Absolutely! Whatever you need me to do, I'm your guy!" Tanjiro smiled as he watched his sister lead him to the recipe that laid on the counter. She deserved to do fun, normal things other girls got to do. She should get to bake cookies with a guy who likes her, and she deserved to be treated without fear. While he had to admit that Zenitsu could be clingy and over the top sometimes, he did think that it was good for Nezuko to be treated like an average girl instead of the demon that nearly everyone reminded her she was.
Even though he was the most fearful in the group, he hasn't been afraid when he found out she was a demon. But more importantly, he didn't change the way he would act around her. He didn't flinch of shy away from her touches and he tried to make sure she was included in things. Tanjiro knew they would have fun.
Nezuko gathered the ingredients as he read the instructions. He grabbed a spoon and gathered a large bowl, sifter, and cookie cutters. He was about to get started when she stopped him, making him wash his hands. He added the butter to the bowl and poured in a cup of sugar. He started to cream the ingredients together, but she made a fuss, flapping her arms while muffled protests filled the air. Zenitsu could barely make out an "I wanna do it!" so he backed off, handing her the spoon. She beamed, happily taking the utensil and mixing the sugar and butter until it was creamy and fluffy.
"Wow, it looks like mashed potatoes!" he said in awe. When he tried to dip his finger in to try some, she swatted his hand away. She shook her head and fixed him with a look that said don't even try it. He heeded her warning and kept his hands to himself, adding in the eggs and flour. She added a dash of vanilla and began mixing. The dough got thicker and thicker, causing her to grow tired as she mixed it together.
Not wanting to waste an opportunity to show off his strength, he offered to knead the dough for her. He immediately dove his hands in the bowl, massaging and kneading the contents together. He folded it in on itself and continuously worked at it. He was so busy focusing on the dough in front of him that he nearly didn't notice Nezuko staring at him. Her eyes were glued to him, watching his muscles flex as he worked.
By now, Zenitsu had learned to decipher what Nezuko was trying to say. "I can really tell you've been training."
A bright blush overtook his features, but he still preened at those words and puffed out his chest. "Y-you think so? I know I'm no Inosuke but I like to think you can tell a difference!" He flexed for her, patting himself down as well to "check" his own muscles. She followed his lead and grabbed onto his arm, feeling the muscle for herself.
Zenitsu thought he was going to explode. He couldn't believe that he had a cute girl clinging onto him and feeling his muscles! Normally, he just didn't have that kind of luck. And he was getting to bake with her!
As she squeezed his arm, her hand moved up to slip underneath. He flinched away rather noticeably, a loud shriek leaving his mouth. She jumped away, worried she hurt him with her long nails. She was ready to shy away, but Zenitsu would sooner die than let that happen.
"NO DON'T GO, I'M SORRY!" his outburst made her jump even more, eyes going wide as he clung to her and pulled her closer. "You didn't hurt me I promise! I'm just really ticklish and it made me freak out, please don't go Nezukooooo!" he whined, burying his face into her shoulder.
She giggled and rolled her eyes, patting his head to let him know she'd stay.
After rolling out some of the dough, they used festive cookie cutters of all shapes and sizes to make dozens of cookies. She took the first batch out of the oven and laid them out to cool. The sprinkles glistened in the light and they looked absolutely mouthwatering. Nezuko missed real food. Sometimes, she snuck a little whenever it smelled really good. It still tasted just as good as she remembered, but she'd always feel a little sick afterwards. She decided it was worth it.
She grabbed a cookie for herself and held another out to Zenitsu. She moved the bamboo bit from her mouth and took a bite. Her eyes fluttered closed, the taste bringing back a flood of happy memories. He grabbed the cookie and took a big bite.
"We uh, make a really good team," he said with a mouthful of food. She nodded in agreement, nibbling silently. They got back to work in the self proclaimed cookie factory, only there was a slight problem. Zenitsu was just as bad as her brother when it came to chowing down on the freshly baked cookies.
"Hey quit it! You can't just eat them all!" He paused, cheeks stuffed like a chipmunk and still reaching for another. He blinked cluelessly, holding out another cookie for her. She sighed, but still wore a tiny smile. She accepted the cookie and said, "Thanks, but that's not what I meant. You need to save some for everyone!"
"But that means less for us!" he cried indignantly.
"There's still plenty of dough to make more. Now get back to work," she teased, poking his side. He squeaked, face turning bright red as she laughed.
"H-hey don't do that! I already told you I'm ticklish so be careful!" he shrieked. She just gave him a smirk and pointed at the half decorated cookies. He groaned, but grabbed the sprinkles and got back to work. She nabbed one more cookie before fitting the piece of bamboo back in her mouth, just in case one of the hashira walked into the kitchen.
He slid the tray into the oven, whistling while he closed the door. He grabbed a reindeer cookie, already moving to bite off its head, when Nezuko started to scold him through her muzzle. She smacked his hand, making him drop the cookie. It split in two, and he shrugged, but not before an exaggerated gasp left his throat.
"Nezuko look what you did! You know we have to eat the ugly broken ones!" he playfully whined, taking a bite from the front half. She glared and growled at him, shaking her head.
He didn't listen to the warning signs and kept trucking on. "Thank you, I really do deserve it. Baking is surprisingly hard work!" he mused. Her eyes flashed with anger and she stomped her foot.
"What? You can help yourself," he said dismissively. Zenitsu was rarely cocky, but when girls were involved, he'd do just about anything to show off or get a rise out of them. He was just about to take another bite when she lunged out to stop him. Her hands buried underneath his arms and he instantly shrieked.
"No please! Ihihihi'm sohorry!" he squealed, flattening his arms against his sides. He doubled over, cackling like mad. She followed his every move, scribbling her nails in his armpits. His laugh was bubbly and shrill, full of shrieks and snorts.
She moved down to scribble over his sides and tummy. He doubled over, his laughter turning a bit more frantic.
“Plehehease I wohohon’t eat the cookies up frohohom everyone ehehehelse!” he weakly promised. She hummed in content and decided to grant mercy. She poked his belly a few more times before pulling away, ruffling his hair. She grabbed one of the cookies, holding up a single finger and handed him the cookie.
He accepted it with a dazed, embarrassed grin. His hair was disheveled and cheeks hot pink. “Um t-thanks I guess. I’ll try to stay out of the cookies until we make the rest,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. She nodded with a sassy note, placing sprinkles on the unbaked dough. They went back to work, listening to Zenitsu’s mindless chatter to fill the silence.
And if he tried to sneak more sweet treats, well, Nezuko knew how to handle that.
Hello, everyone! Omg, I always say I won't host the event, but I can't RESIST. Anyway, we're starting super duper early this year! This is good for you and me since you have more time to sign up and I have more time to send your assignments~! Also this is my fourth year in a go! Call me Mia Santa LOL.
Anyway, as always, I invite you all to participate! It's so much fun, (even though I've only participated once HAHA), and it's so satisfying to get your own fic~ so please join!
Here are the rules that most of you know so very well:
In order to get a tickle fic, you must be willing to write a tickle fic for someone else.
Fics should be 250 words or more (if that sounds like a lot, don’t worry, it’s only about a page double-spaced).
Fics should be based on prompts given by the person you are writing for.
When you sign up, include 1-5 loose prompts - can be as simple as a fandom, a pairing, a character, a scenario, or a combination of those things.
Once sign-ups end, I’ll send out assignments and you’ll have until the end of December to finish your fic and send it to the person you’re writing for. In turn, your writer will post a fic for you by the end of December! No one will know who is writing whose prompts until the fics are posted, because surprises are fun!
Here is what I will need from you:
An ask, submission, or message telling me what fandoms/pairings you’re willing to write for.
An ask, submission, or message listing 1-5 prompts (can be specific or vague, whatever you want) for me to give to the person assigned to write for you.
Make sure you have your askbox or messages open, because I’ll need to communicate with you at some point to let you know who you are writing for!
IF YOU ARE ANON: you must include a tumblr url or email I can contact you at. I promise I won’t give it out to anyone, I just will need a way to contact you over the course of the exchange!
SIGNING UP: I already said we’re starting early this year, so you will have until Wednesday, October 13th to sign up! After that, sign-ups will be closed! I think that’s enough time for me to do the assigments and then for you to write your fic!
Also: when you sign up I will send you a confirmation ask/email/whatever, so if you don’t receive that, contact me! (I want to make sure no one gets left out due to tumblr eating asks or something similarly dumb.)
Also also: If you are willing to write another fic in case of need, please let me know when your submit your information! That would be of great help!
I hope you can join the event this year and have a blast! Then, I’ll be waiting for you all to sign up!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and cheering on that we all have a wonderful new year! And thank you again @ticklygiggles for being fantastic as always and hosting this fun event! Summary: Ignis is preparing some new recipe samples, and everything would be perfect if it weren’t for his lovers sneaking in and eating them! Having had enough he decides to teach them a lesson one by one. Pairing: Gladio x Ignis x Noctis x Prompto Words:4069
The weather outside was cold, windy, and full of snow, as a light snowstorm was beginning to descend on the city of Insomnia. This of course was a welcomed gift, as this meant meetings that were to be held in the citadel were cancelled. Which allowed a certain advisor to indulge in his hobby and spend the day with his lovers. Ignis was happy to have this day off as it was a holiday, and he was more than satisfied that he didn’t need to work. So here he was de-stressing by trying a few new recipes. The ones he completed on the other counter. Scribbling things down in his notepad, unknown to him a certain trio was coming into the kitchen taking samples. Ignis didn’t know at first until he caught Gladio and chased him from the kitchen believing his food would be safe. So far everything was at peace, or it was until he caught Noctis and Prompto red handed but bolting from the kitchen as soon as they made eye contact.
“If one more of you enters my kitchen again the Six will not be able to spare you from my wrath.” He called after them. “We love you Iggy!” was the response filled with laughter. Ignis didn’t dare go after them lest he leave the food unprotected, instead he gave a suspicious glare at the entryway and then went back to cooking. He had an ear out for sneaking steps and when he heard none he went back to cooking in peace once again. He kept chancing glances and saw the amount of food was still the same, taking that as a good sign to continue.
Or would have if it weren’t for the strong arms wrapping around him. “Gladiolus…” he stopped what he was doing turning in his arms, to receive a kiss to his forehead. “Is there something you need?” he raised a brow. “Or up to tricks,” he moved looking around his shoulder at the partners in crime. “With your accomplices scurrying about.”
“Ahh Iggy don’t be mad at us…how can we resist when everything smells so good.” He squeezed him, grinning as Ignis gasped hands shooting to push at him.
“G-Gluttons the lot of you.” He huffed with a roll of his eyes. “And- Noct and Prompto!” He called to them in warning. “You all will spoil your dinneERR! AH G-GLADIOLUS!” he blushed as he was lifted and sat on the counter top. “This doesn’t get you off the hook.” He glared down at him unyielding. “The same goes for you two as well.” The two paused in scarfing down food and approached the trapped cook both taking his hand and placing sweet kisses to his hand and wrist smiling sweetly at him.
“Plan B Gladio,” Prompto said poking the advisor in the side. “Since we’re in trouble anyway.” Noctis nodded smile turning mischievous as he gave a quick pinch to the advisor’s hip.
“HA!” Ignis covered his mouth flinching as he tried to save face by stopping chuckles that wanted to escape. “Mfmfmf…Y-You pft!” He jerked in the brunette’s hold when his sides were squeezed. “You-You ahaha-all are skating ohohohon thin ice!” he gritted out only to bark out soft laughter as the hands on him got more active. “Stahahahap!” he pushed and wiggled trying to escape, a lost cause. “Y-You’ll HAhahahahaha pahahahahay when Ihehehehe gehehet my hands on you!” he threatened as he was lost in laughter.
“Of course you will.” Gladio mocked leaning in giving nibbling kisses to Ignis neck. “Just let us enjoy the main course here.”
Ignis laughter changed to snickers as his neck was the worst spot for him. It didn’t help that those pokes and pinches were being delivered to his side and hip. The torture continued until he was left disheveled and breathless. Noctis and Prompto kissed his cheeks running out cackling while Gladio stayed behind fixing his clothes and claiming those lips and strutting out in victory snatching another sample.
Panting, that was the last straw, if they wanted to play dirty, he would do the same! To step things up, he moved the samples he prepared next to him and prepared a quicky batch that he spliced. He’d teach his lovers a lesson his own way after they disturbed his peace.
As predicted, not even after the batch was out the oven they waltz back in munching on the spliced samples before running out. Smirking in victory the first step was done. The little spice he added would simply knock them out and that would give him more than enough time to prep for his revenge.
Ignis put away his samples that he kept safe and cleaned up. It was quiet which meant it was safe to begin. Leaving the kitchen, he went to the living room to find the three men passed out. Chuckling, he grabbed up their phones shutting them off, and placing the items away. Then went to the closet grabbing the spare flashlight that was half dead and set it on the table. Next, he got a pen and paper and elegantly scribbled a note for his loves to find. For the final touch, he went to the fuse box shutting off the power and taking the key and locking the box pocketing the key. He then found a spot to watch the show and wait to strike taking out his phone as the weather outside grew worse.
When night came the three men began stirring, Ignis who was on his phone shut it off and sat in the corner quietly.
“Ughnn…” Gladio groaned sitting up, Prompto sliding off of him onto Noctis. “Whe-haaaa!” he let out a loud yawn. “When did we fall asleep?” he knew they couldn’t be that tired.
“Dunno…” Noct grumbled rubbing at his eyes. “What time is it?” He blinked sleepily as he rested his head on the arm of the couch. Prompto snuggled into the raven. “Iggy what time is it?” He asked only to receive silence as an answer. “Iggy?”
“Maybe he’s in the other room.” The raven said, though his internal clock wasn’t great he felt this was too early for ignis to call it a night. And he had this weird feeling of foreboding. He heard the wind howling outside and the storm in full swing. “Maybe the power went out because of the storm?” Ignis sat in place in amusement, he wanted to pick them off one by one but who would be the unlucky one. He perked up as Gladio said he’d check the fuse box, about to follow he stopped as he saw the silhouettes of Noctis and Prompto follow. ‘Hmm that is a problem…’ he thought then as they went down the hall he moved to the flash light turning it on and moving to a dark corner. ‘It wont last that long anyway..’ He thought as he watched the flashlight fizzle in and out. Now he played the waiting game.
Gladiolus took the lead maneuvering in the dark while Noctis and Prompto followed close. When they went to the fuse box first thing Gladio did was trying to open it but realized it was locked and the key was missing. “What?....” “What’s wrong?” Prompto asked clinging to Noctis.
“The fuse box is locked.” Gladio answered.
“What do you mean locked? Stop messing around and turn it on already.” Noctis said with some impatience.
“Check for yourself then princess.” He moved to the side and heard the grumbling prince move to his place. When he heard Noct release a sound of disbelief he scoffed crossing his arms. “Told ya.” He moved in front of the trio going back to the living room only to blink as there was a dimly lit flashlight that sat on the table with a note.
Thinking the advisor stepped out he ran over picking up the note. “Oh maybe its from Iggy!” Prompto said in giddness shining the light on the note reading it until his face paled. “Oh shit…”
“What’s it say Prompto?” the bigger of the three asked.
“He warned us…” he said.
“About what?”
“No guys… that is what the note says: I warned you.” And as those words finally set in the flashlight flickered briefly before it went out with a soft click.
“Damn…we are screwed.” Noctis sat down on the couch. “Would if we just wait it out and beg or something.” Even he knew his advisor was vicious and he always kept his word for everything.
“Pft..this is ridiculous! Iggy come out!” Gladio went to the hallway, and Prompto gaped as he patted for Noctis until he found him.
“Dude what are you doing?! You don’t leave the group, safety in numbers!” he told the shield.
Gladio rolled his eyes and chuckled. “Oh please, this is Iggy we’re talking about, what can he do?” He turned. “You guys are more than welcome to sit here and do whatever…Iggy!” he called going down the hall, leaving a nervous blond and raven.
“It was nice knowing you Gladio!” Noctis called after him and turned to Prompto. ”Wanna hide in the bedroom or wait here for our deaths?” he asked letting the blond snuggle up next to him.
“Wouldn’t that make things worse?” the blond added. “Let’s think of an apology!”
Ignis was in the room and heard everything that was spoken. Deciding to target their biggest lover as he followed behind silently as he listened to the brunette’s taunts and grumbles as he bumped into things. Ignis thought about targeting Noctis and Prompto first yet decided to save them for last. As he followed the big lummox to one of the spare rooms entering and closing the door silently locking it.
“Iggy come on! You still aren’t upset about earlier, right?” He moved around patting the bed, growling as he found this situation to be ridiculous, only Ignis could take things to a whole new level when crossed. “This is silly Iggy!” he could tough this out and wait until morning then he’d look for the advisor properly. “Fine, I’ll see ya in the morning!” He called sitting on the side of the bed then flopped on oh his back.
And it was time to make his move, approaching the other side of the bed without so much of word or rustling of the sheets. Leaning over him with a smirk as he brought his hands up to cup his face, withholding a chuckle as the brunette jumped with gasp. “How about seeing me now love?” He said so smoothly as his fingers rubbed his cheeks. “I’m curious though?” He began letting his fingers lightly trace patterns from his cheeks to under his chin making the shield squirm slightly and clear his throat a few times. “Whahaha-ahem w-what?” he asked eyes closed as he tried to keep his composure as his lips twitched.
Pausing his fingers, he hummed tilting his head as he moved closer. “What exactly did you find to be silly?”
Gladio gulped as that tone meant business and that he was still in trouble. “N-Now Iggy-gehehe!” His shoulders scrunched up as his fingers moved slowly in a circle under his chin inching to his neck. “Iggy hehehe c-come on! I-I can’t answer with you doing thahahat!” he chuckled out, even a snort escaped.
“Ohh you can’t…” He said as if concerned. “If I recall... You were boasting quite loudly when you and your greedy abettors decided to be thieves in my kitchen.” He glided his fingers back and forth. “So go ahead and answer my question Gladiolus… It should be easy for you.” And then he went for his ears making the man laugh out loud and move to intercept his hands.
Which is exactly what Ignis wanted and Gladio realizing his mistake too late.
Ignis being quick went for the pits, another one of Gladio’s weak spots as his fingers scribbled and dug in the deep groves. “I’m still waiting for an answer Gladiolus…” he said avoiding the other’s hands. If there was one thing he loved in over powering his behemoth of a lover was using his own tactics against him. Gladio could be quite the tickle monster, catching himself and the others off guard, or when he was bored and wanting to be mischievous. Ignis was happy to know he wasn’t invincible to tickling, knowing the best spots to make the shield crack and weak. “GYAHAHAHAHAHAHA I-IGGYHEHEHEHEHE NOHOHOHOHOHO!” Gladio chortled out his laughter booming as he struggled to wiggle away from the other while keeping his arms down which only made things worse as he trapped the advisor’s hands there. “I-HAHAHAHAHA-I’M SORREHEHEHEHEHE!” “I doubt that claim very much.” Oh Ignis wasn’t that kind, he heard many such admissions from him and the man never learned his lesson. Heck, he knew even after today he’d still do it again. “In this moment I’m sure you are.” He reached around with his left hand tickling his back on the shoulder blade, an odd spot but effective. “Don’t worry you won’t be the only one receiving punishment. I still have our little darlings to chat with.” He whispered into his ear blowing on it, chuckling as Gladio snorted again. “Now please accept the consequences for your actions.”
The other could do nothing but roar in laughter as Ignis took his time in wrecking him and taunting him so politely all the while. A feat only the advisor could pull off so well while going for another death spot, his hip making him yelp and try to curl up. “ME-MEHEHEHEHERCY!” He pleaded over and over only to receive some elegant remark from his spectral eyed lover.
“There I think that’s enough… I still have two other’s I need to get to.” He leaned down kissing panting lips with a soft laugh. “Let this be a lesson for you darling.” He pinched at his hip and the man groaning with laughter as he laid there recovering.
“Ohoho oh man, y-yehehes dear.” Gladio responded with a tired wave of his hand.
Ignis then made his way back to the living room, he wouldn’t be surprised if Noctis and Prompto were in the same place. Yet, if they heard what was going on, most likely they changed locations.
“Did you find the phones?”
‘Or not.’ He thought with a small chuckle shaking his head, of course getting their phones back to see would be top priority. He heard them rummaging in the kitchen and gave them points for thinking he’d place them there. Yet, he simply put them in the ottoman in the living room, the most obvious place he knew they wouldn’t check.
“I checked in the pots and pans and found zip! What about you Noct?”
“Nothing in the cabinets either, next time we bring an extra flashlight and spare phone to call ours.” He said Prompto agreeing.
‘Ah, a grand idea though useless if the phones are off.’ He made a mental note, to check Noct’s bag and be sure to take his extra flashlight or at least the battery when they have another getaway. Smiling he simply leaned against the doorway while they searched.
“Gyah! We’ll never find them at this rate- wait… listen… I don’t hear Gladio anymore…” was the unnerving statement that came from the prince. If the lights were on Ignis was sure their counterpart’s expression was morphed into adorable mortification on that freckled face.
“Dude we need to hide! Or-Or-Or really be pathetic and beg for forgiveness!”
“I don’t think begging is going to work… so hide?”
“Hide!” The photographer agreed, out of the four of them he and Noctis were the most ticklish, not that he mind but he knew in this state ignis was unforgiving. “Hold my hand!” who knew when Ignis would pop up and get them. The feeling was nerve wracking and fun in its own way.
Ignis moved silently able to make out their silhouettes in the darkness, and smoothly he took the photographer’s hand and prince’s, standing between them and they didn’t even know it. He was happy it was pitch black and he could rely on his senses to navigate as they moved out the kitchen.
“We should hide in the closet in the bedroom or under the bed.” Whispered a worried blonde. “If he finds us we need to be ready for him.” He squeezed the prince’s hand, Ignis squeezing back.
It was so hard to keep his laughter in check, it may be a bit mean on his part. Still, he’d be sure to drill the lesson into these guys one way or another. This way they know not to trespass in his kitchen again. As they maneuvered in the dark to their shared bedroom, Ignis listened silently as they rambled on quietly. They entered the room Noctis closing the door locking it before flopping on the bed. The brunette and blond joining him, ignis in the middle. “Don’t think we need to worry about Ignis anytime soon.” Noctis said.
Prompto sighed in relief. “Maybe he’ll just torture Gladio for the rest of the night.” “Mhmm, once he realizes he can’t get in. Hope Gladio is up for round two because we got the best spot. Safe and sound.” He said in content closing his eyes.
“Oh yes quite the perfect place to hide away.” Was the response, the blond and raven ceasing all conversation as they tensed up. Laughing softly, though to others it sounded sinister. Ignis gave a squeeze to their hands before letting go. “Thank you for bringing me along gentlemen.”
Both realized with dread what they’ve done. “You both seemed more remorseful than Gladio, so I’ll allow you the opportunity to plead your case.” He added. “Or one of you can volunteer.”
“It was Gladio’s idea!” they both cried out moving away from the advisor scurrying to opposite ends of the room.
“Ah yes, he was the ringleader… nonetheless you both decided to follow along.” He pointed out moving silently to block the door. “Anything you would like to add?”
“W-We…um we’re really sorry.” Prompto squeaked out feeling along the wall until he was huddled in the corner. Noctis shimmed his way unknowingly toward ignis trying to make an escape.
“Hmm Gladio said the same thing… and I’m sure this won’t be the last offense.” He felt Noctis bump into him and he smirked. “Thanks for volunteering to go first your highness.”
“N-No W-ait Wait Ignihihihihis!”
Ignis went went right for the gold, attacking the prince’s sides, receiving those pitchy little giggles. “Why should I wait my little prince?” He used a nickname that made the raven more sensitive and to drive him mad. He held Noctis in place as he slowly maneuvered the laughing prince to the floor. “Ohh trying to get away love, I don’t think so,” then he clawed his way to his ribs, adding more pressure as he vibrated his fingers. “Isn’t this what you did to me in the kitchen?”
“Ahahaha Nohohoho! H-HEHEHEHHEHELP! Prohohohohompto!” he shrieked out only to fall into a laughing fit once more gripping weakly at Ignis’s hands. Noctis wasn’t much when fighting back, especially when being caught off guard.
“Why should Prompto help you? When you were going to leave him to suffer my wrath.” He stated over his loud laughter switching between scribbling and digging tickles. “Besides, I was rudely gained up on, to which you all can properly receive this gift.”
“Nahahahahaha!” Noctis shook his head back and forth as he felt his hands move past his hips to squeeze at his thighs making him jump and flop around. “NAahahahaha therhehehehehehe I-Igghehehehhehey!” He chortled weakly kicking his legs.
“I’ve yet to receive an apology from you my bratty prince.” He told him as his fingers spider danced to his back right at the middle feeling his spine. “You knew the consequences…” he stated in a matter-of-fact tone. “So please accept your due punishment.”
Noctis could barely form a sentence and all he could do was laugh and shriek. The advisor got most of his spots all the while speaking so politely with the elegance that was Ignis. The eloquent taunts and nicknames making blush and feel even more silly. “M-Mahahaha-ercy! I-I apolhohohogizehehe!” before he was laying there in a giggling heap. Receive a kiss to his lips and brow as he gave another weak apology.
“And there stood one…” Standing and clapping his hands together Ignis looked in the blond’s direction. “Promptooo~” he sang walking toward him.
“I-Ignis p-please can I g-gehehet a pass?” He asked already giggling, and he wasn’t even near him yet.
Chuckling he shook his head. “Oh no precious,” he said smoothly trapping him between himself and the wall. “Everyone gets a turn…Though I’ll be nice, since you seem to be the most remorseful.” He whispered in his ear purposely making the photographer giggle. Pressing closer he used one hand to softly tickle his stomach then slipping under his shirt, teasing his navel by swirling his fingers around the area. “Prompto I’m barely touching you.” The best way he learned to drive the blonde crazy, were the soft and slow tickles. “Mnn…” he started giving butterfly kisses to his faces and moving to his neck, the action making the other hiccup with laughter.
“Pfthehehehe!” was his answer. “I-Ignis d-d-dohohohon’t do thahahaHAt!” He tried to hide his face by pressing into ignis chest as he shook.
Ignis could appreciate that Prompto wasn’t much of a fighter when it came to these types of situations. “If I recall sweet Prompto…you like when I do this.” He announced inserting his finger into his navel and vibrating it.
He groaned as he snickered as his heated ears were teased. “Pftnonohoho don’t say that out lohohohhohud!” Yet he was unprepared for the new assault. “NAAHAAHAHA!” He shrieked jumping and pushing at the man to escape. “HAHAHAHAHAHA P-PLEHAHAHAHAHa!” he cackled babbling noncoherent apologizes and pleas.
“Come now, I have to be a little callous, or else Gladio and Noct will feel I showed favoritism.” He purred into his ear kissing his neck.
If the photographer could describe the feeling of bursting from these affections it was lost, he knew he was redder than a tomato, heart pounding as he was practically melting from the attention. He didn’t dislike the tickling, enjoying the physical attentiveness he received, not only from the advisor but from his two other lovers as well.
“PFFT HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHA N0NOHOHOHO BIHIHIHIHITING!” He chortled out, his laughter switching from bubbly to squeaking shimming from left to right only to jump into his arms as he squeezed his butt. “EYEHEHEHEHEK!” Another spot that he tried to keep covered, hence the reason he pressed himself against the wall.
Smirking he focused on pinching his small baby fat while his other hand adding more tickling squeezes to his rear end.
The advisor continued to extract his revenge until he was satisfied with a red faced and panting Prompto. He picked him up moving him to the bed and nuzzling his face getting a tired giggle. Nodding he sat on the bed. “I hope you all learned a valuable lesson from this.” He stated and the lights turned back on with a soft flicker. “Seems Gladio found the spare keys.” Now able to see his work properly of wrecking the two. “Now then I’ll prepare a nice dinner for us then we can sit by the fire.” He stood walking over Noct opening the door to a disheveled shield. “You’re just in time, I was ready to get dinner ready.”
“Lets wait a bit for dinner…” Gladio blocked his way looking at the other two. “What do you guys think about that?” Prompto and Noctis eyes lit up at those words. Energy back as if they weren’t just wrecked.
“Lets just skip dinner and get right to dessert.” Noctis said moving to hug Ignis from behind.
“Yep, iggy always did make the best main course!” Prompto chimed.
Ignis looked back and forth between them all and could only chuckle. “Oh my dear hearts, it seems none of you learned your lesson.” He told them receiving beaming grins in response.
The wintry night was filled with laughter as the group had their fun and free for all. The night ending with being wrapped up in each other’s warm embrace as the howling storm outside made them feel ever warmer.
You Put the Spark to the Flame
Panda’s Notes: It's that time of year again!! Happy Squealing Santa 2k21 to @manly-snail, who wanted some lee Todoroki and Lee Kaminari. I am perpetually weak, so why not both?! >w< I hope you guys like it! Mer Crispies.
Read on Ao3!
“Alright, alright, settle down, guys!” Iida called with a chuckle, lightly shaking the decorated tissue box that held their votes. Kirishima flailed to hit the pause button as tonight’s group of 1-A students crowded together on the couch. They still giggled excitedly and murmured to each other, passing the snack bowl back and forth as Iida pouted at them.
“Guys, guys!” Iida said again, knocking on the box with his knuckles. A sharp whistle cut through the air, and the others flinched as they covered their ears. Yaoyorozu snickered, pulling her hand away from her mouth.
“Ah, thank you.” Iida winced with a slight chuckle. “Now then, we’ve counted the votes, and tonight’s winner is…Jirou!”
She gasped softly as the rest of the group cheered and clapped, except Bakugou, who gave a scoff and nudged her shoulder with his own. She stood up a little awkwardly, and Yaoyorozu smiled brightly as she stepped forward to hand her the little pin that she had made minutes earlier.
“Thank you, guys, so much.” Jirou said shyly, twirling one of her earphone jacks on her finger. “Although, I guess I should say that you’d better not have voted for me just because it’s my first time at karaoke night.”
Bakugou huffed and sunk into a slouch. “Pfft, that’s the only reason I voted for you.”
Jirou blushed faintly, smiling a bit brighter. “You actually voted for me?”
The others on the couch jeered and teased Bakugou gently as they made space or Jirou to sit back down.
“Okay, quiet…” Iida called. “Now then, next time, we’re doing a duet round. Who all’s playing?”
Naturally, most of the group’s hands shot up, and Iida counted under his breath.
“Ah, I’m getting an odd number…” He murmured, glancing at Yaoyorozu.
“Yeah, me too... You’re sitting this one out, Ochacco?”
Uraraka blushed a bit as the group gave a collective whine. “I’m going home next weekend; I won’t even be here!”
“Right, I forgot…” Iida murmured. “Well, another solo session won’t kill us, unless someone else wants to step down or—Oh?”
He’d blinked, and heads turned as Todoroki raised his hand a bit hesitantly. The group gave encouraging cheers, and Bakugou gave him a light kick with one foot. “Aw, Todoroki! I’m so glad you’re joining us this time! Anyone else?”
When no more hands went up, the volunteers quickly started talking amongst themselves about who would partner up. The air shrieked as Yaoyorozu whistled again, and the group groaned as they settled.
“If you guys would wait for us to finish, we’d be done by now!” She laughed, pacing her hands on her hips.
“And this is the last thing, too.” Iida explained. “For this duet round, Yaoyorozu had an idea that we should mix things up a bit. We’re going to draw lots to see what teams come up.”
There was a chorus of half-whiny protests, and the two class leaders called over them until they stopped again.
“Look, look—listen!” Yaoyorozu called. “You guys pick the same teams every other round! We’re a team altogether, right? We should be able to mix partners without being babies about it!” She picked up another small box off of the coffee table, shaking it gently before opening it to count what was inside. “Now, in here are some popsicle sticks, labeled in pairs. You pick one, and whoever matches your stick, that’s your partner.”
She closed the box and shook it harder as she approached one end of the couch. “One at a time, since you all want to be gremlins about everything.” She joked, offering Todoroki the box. He looked away as he reached in and pulled out a stick. A line of stars ran down the middle. The rest of the volunteers clambered excitedly as each of them were offered the box, eventually hopping up to compare sticks and find their partners.
Sero and Kirishima laughed as they realized they were partnered up. Mina bounced excitedly and grabbed Iida’s hand, already suggesting songs they could sing. Midoriya blushed faintly as Jirou approached him, but she smiled gently and looked pretty happy. Yaoyorozu rested one elbow on Bakugou’s head, and he smirked slightly up at her.
This left Todoroki to be approached by Kaminari, who happily held up his own star-printed popsicle stick. Todoroki… Todoroki just smiled nervously as Kaminari pat his shoulder.
Sunday and Monday came and went, and Monday evening found Todoroki lounging—not hiding—in his dorm. He groaned nervously as his phone alerted him to new messages that he just knew were from Kaminari. He wasn’t avoiding Kaminari, not at all!
He was avoiding the karaoke conversation.
Now, yeah, he felt bad for being standoffish about this, but what was he supposed to do? Kaminari had paired with Mina for every duet week; and they’d won, like, 80% of them. Huh. Maybe that was why Iida and Yaoyorozu had done this… But more importantly, this was the first time Todoroki had even thought to join karaoke night. He was honestly hoping to team up with Midoriya; at least they could have been awkward and off-key together.
He flinched slightly when someone came knocking on his door. Was he really going to pretend like he didn’t know who it was? He didn’t get the chance to answer that question because the inevitable voice called worriedly through the door.
“Hey, Todoroki?” Kaminari’s voice seemed a little wary. “You home, man?”
Todoroki winced, but he knew that dodging him for the entire week would be pretty cruel. He hesitantly approached the door and opened it slowly. “Hello, Kaminari…”
Kaminari smiled, but he didn’t seem happy. “Hey, uh… Can I come in? Or, can we talk, at least?”
Todoroki seemed to hesitate, but he nodded and stepped back. “Of course. What, uh, what’s on your mind?” He wasn’t good at this pretending thing.
Kaminari took a big breath of his own as he walked toward the center of the room. “I’m just going to cut to the chase, okay? I was kind of thinking; maybe we should step down from the karaoke thing?”
Now that got Todoroki’s attention. “Wait, wait, wait…” He stammered. “You want to drop out of a karaoke week?”
He smiled sadly and itched his face as he looked away. “W-Well, no…” he admitted. “It’s just, you’ve been dodging me every time I try to ask about it. And I did kinda spot that you didn’t seem too thrilled to be partners. It’s not a big deal anyway; I do karaoke pretty much every week. A few skips won’t kill me.”
Todoroki blinked, still a bit shell shocked at this confession. “I—Hold on…” he ran his hands over his face, groaning as he finally realized the misunderstanding. “Y-Yeah, I’ve been dodging you, but it’s not you, I swear!”
Kaminari eyed him curiously, and Todoroki fiddled with his fingers before confessing: “I’m… nervous about doing the karaoke thing, okay? He murmrured. “Everyone else is used to it, I guess, but it’s the first time I’ve really sung in front of anyone. And, um, I guess I was a little nervous when you were my partner, since you and Mina always win when you team up…”
He winced a bit as Kaminari just stared at him, rhis chin rested on one hand as he seemed to think.His face changed slowly, a smile cracking his face as he snickered and chuckled.
“Y’know, I can’t believe I’d forgotten that you never really joined karaoke night before.” He giggled, setting his hands on his hips. “Heh, geez, I’m sorry I thought you were mad at me. You just have stage fright! And stage fright, I can fix.” He declared with a playful wink.
Todoroki tipped his head curiously as Kaminari grabbed his wrist and pulled him over to his bed. He was firmly sat down and quickly joined on his left side. “You can just ‘fix’ stage fright?”
“That, I can.” He insisted, resting his elbows on his knees. “First things first: You’ve just gotta loosen up a little!” He gave Todoroki a soft punch in the arm, rubbing his shoulder gently before squeezing it. “Oh, wow, you actually are tense. Hm… Let’s start right here!”
Kaminari punctuated the statement with a firm poke targeted between his ribs, and Todoroki nearly leapt across the bed. “Heh, that a good spot?”
Todoroki rubbed his side, watching his guest with wide eyes and a slightly nervous smile. “What are you playing at, Kaminari?”
Denki giggled mischievously, wiggling his fingers as he moved up onto his knees. “We’re loosening up! We’ll get all those nerves worked out, and it’ll be easier to talk about solving our problems!”
“W-Wait a second, don’t—!” Todoroki squeaked, still a bit shellshocked when Kaminari finally tackled him into the blankets and dug his fingers into his lower ribs. “K-Kaminari!” He cried out through the giggles jumping out of his chest, trying to cover his sides as his feet kicked slightly.
“Ha! There you go!” Kaminari laughed, leaning over him and squeezing at Todoroki’s ribs and down his sides. “Get nice and loud! Just focus on you!”
It wasn’t entirely clicking what Kaminari wanted from him, but it definitely felt like he wanted him to laugh. Well, since he wasn’t being given much of a choice… He practically writhed when Kaminari’s nails snuck under the hem of his shirt and dipped into the curves of his hips, his voice pitching all over the place as he almost cackled.
“You’ve got an awfully cute laugh, you know. Might even call it musical?”
Todoroki snorted shortly, managing to flail one hand against Kaminari’s shoulder as he yelped. “Ack! Okay, okay! Come on; that was funny!” He giggled, letting his finger slowly go still.
“It was not…” Shouto giggled between breaths. “And that’s not even mentioning how you just attacked me.”
Denki feigned offense, touching a hand to his chest. “How can you say that?! Why, if I was going to attack you, I’d—” He let the sentence hang, smirking a bit at the way Todoroki looked at him suspiciously. “But, no, seriously. I got kinda scared too when we first started karaoke nights. This is just what Mina did for me whenever I got nervous. Nowadays, we just have fun with it, y’know?”
Todoroki smiled a bit as he listened. It was still so difficult to picture Kaminari being nervous about this after he was up onstage during the Culture Festival, but Todoroki had been sitting out for weeks. He had no place to judge either way. Kaminari chuckled a bit awkwardly, and Todoroki blinked.
“We, ah, we can still drop out, if you don’t want to go through with it.” He offered, running his hand through his hair. “Fun is fun, but I won’t force you—!” His voice was lost in a shriek when Todoroki’s right hand slipped under his shirt and squeezed his side with icy fingers. “Wait, wait, wait!” He giggled, getting pushed back as ten fingers attacked his stomach.
“Oh, now look who wants to wait! I don’t get a little payback?” Shouto purred, following Kaminari when he tried to crawl away and snatching at his ankle.
“N-No payback!” Kaminari cried, squealing as cold scribbles bit through his sock underneath his toes. “I was just trying to he—Not my toes!”
“Trying? Honestly, you’re helping a lot.” He chuckled, only half teasing as he scribbled a bit faster. “Think it’s too late to start practicing a song?”
Denki’s laughter was finally allowed to die down as Shouto softly pat his heels and leaned over him. “W-Well, we still have to pick one. Any in mind?”
“That are duets? Not many…” Todoroki moved to flop down beside Kaminari on his bed, giving him a few pokes in the ribs. “What about you?”
His guest giggled and lightly bat at his hand. “…Actually, I just might have an idea.”
@eclipsetickles thank you again for this wonderful squealing Santa fic! I love everything and my gosh there needs to be more t-content for ObeyMe because it's so great! Thank you @ticklygiggles for hosting as always!
"Lucifer's Game" -(Lucifer x Diavolo)
Hey there @ticklish-v-93! I was the one writing your Squealing Santa fic this year!! I've been playing OM since it came out, but somehow have never written a fic for it (until now lol). I really enjoyed writing this and I really hope you like it! Merry Christmas! ✨
Word count: 1863
"Come on, Lucifer, everyone else is playing! It'll be fun!"
Deep wine colored eyes twitched in annoyance staring at the demon prince that was attached to his arm. Damn… If Diavolo was asking him, he had to give in. Lucifer was convinced this man was going to make him sprout grey hairs.
The mood was decently lighthearted in the house of lamentation today and the residents ended up starting a huge game of hide and seek. Hearing of the activity through Asmo, Diavolo enthusiastically visited the dorm just to participate. That, of course, led to Lucifer's current predicament.
"Fine… I'll join in this little game, childish as it is. Under one condition." Diavolo stared expectantly but undeniably excitedly at the prideful demon, focusing on his words.
"I will be the one seeking." Lucifer stated matter of factly, giving up on trying to remove Diavolo from his arm. The aforementioned prince seemed to bubble over with excitement.
"Haha! Of course you of all people would say that. I accept your terms!" The redhead smiled brightly, in an almost angelic way. You would think Dia was originally from the celestial realm rather than Lucifer.
"Well then. I suppose you should find a place to hide. All of you." Turning to his brothers, Lucifer gave a worryingly smug look resulting in simultaneous nervous glances. Wondering why nobody was moving, Lucifer then remembered he was to turn his back to them and start counting. With a shake of his head, he leaned against the wall and began counting down from 30.
"C'mon Beel. Let's go find a spot!" Belphegor addressed his twin and turned to leave, Beelzebub following behind. Satan calmly walked out, in no particular hurry to hide. He was confident he could best his brother anyways. Levi gulped in anticipation and speedwalked away trying to appear as confident as Satan but failing miserably. Mammon didn't waste a second bolting away, with no real idea of where he would even hide. Asmo seemed to have an idea and practically leaped out of the room. Finally, Diavolo let out an excited titter and began his descent into the hallway, taking a second to look back and admire his boyfriend as he did.
Either the pressure was getting to him, or he was less familiar with the house of lamentation than he thought. He seemed to wander aimlessly looking for a decent place to hide away, coming up with nothing. He opened up a coat closet, only to come face to face with Mammon.
"EEYAH-! Oh geez. Thought you were Lucifer for a minute." Mammon breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of Diavolo, grateful that he hadn't yet been caught by the looming threat that was Lucifer.
"Any chance I could join you here?" Diavolo smiled sheepishly, a hint of desperation in his voice.
"No way! This spot is reserved for the great Mammon and the great Mammon alone! Can't have anyone ruin my chances of winning. There may be a cash prize!" The avatar of greed said as he made a shooing motion with his hand, blissfully unaware that he wouldn't be paid a penny if he somehow won.
"After all, you came out of the closet. No need to go back in~!" A disembodied voice came from behind the long, draping curtains. The voice was unmistakably Asmodeus.
"Hah? How the hell do I have a better hiding spot than you? And what do you mean out of the closet? He was never in it! I've been in here the whole time!" It was clear the joke flew straight over Mammon's head. Then again, he wasn't known for being the avatar of intelligence.
"Shh! Enough chit-chat! If we keep talking like this, Lucifer will find us immediately!" Asmo stuck his head out from behind the thick curtain, giving Diavolo a "What are you standing around for?" look. Diavolo nodded and went on his way further down the corridor.
Entering the dining hall, Diavolo was greeted to the sound of faint battle music. Following the sound out of curiosity, it led him to the table. Taking a peek underneath the tablecloth, he was greeted by the sight of Levi playing on his Helltendo DS.
"Levi… What are you doing?" Diavolo questioned the violet haired man, cocking his head owlishly.
"What do you mean? Hiding, obviously! Hide and seek is a game and I intend to win." Levi gave the brief response, eyes glued to the device.
"But Levi… You do realize the volume for your game is on, right?" Diavolo raised an eyebrow, and Levi froze when he realized, causing his character to drive off the track.
Just as he was about to respond, there was a loud scream in the distance. Mammon! He must have been found.
"Levi, can I hide with you here? He's going to find me if I don't hide soon!" The demon lord begged, but Levi shook his head vigorously.
"Of course not! This is my spot! Go look in the common room" With that, Levi tugged the tablecloth from Diavolo's hand and pulled it back down. Heeding Levi's advice, Diavolo rushed to the common room.
That was likely a bad decision considering the entire room was filled with few things other than couches and chairs. Ah! Behind the couch! That has to be the perfec- Oh damn it!
Satan looked up at Diavolo in slight shock, not expecting to have him nearly slide into the rather small space.
"Lord Diavolo… Shouldn't you be hiding?" Satan asked with wide, confused eyes.
"Satan! Let me hide with you please! All the spots I've tried so far have been taken!" He whined childishly. Satan frowned deeply, offering an apologetic look.
"I would absolutely let you hide with me, but look-" he gestured to the space around him, or lack thereof. "I alone barely fit in here."
Diavolo sighed with a disappointed look.
"You're right. I understand. Thank you anyways." Turning so that Satan didn't see the increased worry in his face, Diavolo set off toward the basement to see if he had any luck there, attempting to ignore the shriek piercing the air that could belong only to Asmodeus.
Descending the creaky stairs, whispering could be heard. This had to be Beel and Belphie.
"I'm not Lucifer." Dia reassured in a hushed voice to try and locate the twins. Beel's head could be seen peeking out from underneath the stairs.
"Ah… Diavolo." Beel half greeted half informed Belphie. Said demon followed Beel's lead and looked out from behind the stairs.
"In case you were going to ask, you can't hide here. We got here first." Belphegor stated flatly, retreating back into the darkness underneath the stairs. Diavolo looked to Beelzebub who was focused on consuming an entire box of reaperfruit and yogurt protein bars he had found in the pantry. Sensing he would get nowhere, Diavolo quietly retreated back up the stairs. As expected, Levi's voice was the next to be heard. How unsettling...
There was only one more place he could think of that would be a decent hiding spot. It was an intimidating one however. It was like walking straight into the den of a hungry lion, but at this point it was his only choice. Lucifer's office.
Opening the door very slowly, Diavolo looked through the crack between the door and the wall. Empty, it seemed. With a relieved sigh, he walked in, only to flinch at the sound of Satan not too far away. Quickly he shut the door behind him.
Now where is a suitable place? Ah! The desk! He thought as he rushed under the rather large desk. Perfect size for him really. Best of all, that hiding place was all his.
A few minutes passed and there was still no sign of Lucifer. Fantastic! At this rate he was totally going to win!
At least that was what he thought before the sound of footsteps slowly making their way down the hardwood hallways could be heard. Diavolo's heart jumped into his throat as he tried his best to be as quiet as humanly possible.
The footsteps stopped just outside the door and all the air left Diavolo's body when he heard the door slooooooowly creak open. An entertained chuckle passed Lucifer's lips as he entered.
"Oh my… It seems my dear heart is hidden away from me." He began walking again, pacing agonizingly slowly.
"You keep hiding dear one, and hope I don't find you." The footsteps stopped again and were replaced with the sound of Lucifer's hand meeting the desk. Leisurely, he drummed his fingers against the top of the desk. The demon lord squeezed his eyes shut in anticipation.
"Because when I do…" Diavolo opened one eye and was startled by the sight of Lucifer's smirking face before him.
"L-Lucifer! Luci! Wait, it's not fair! I command you to- aAAAAGH!" Diavolo's words were cut off by an undignified noise when Lucifer reached under the desk and squeezed Diavolo's side.
"I found you." Lucifer said simply, voice simply dripping with smug satisfaction. He had bested the demon lord.
Diavolo had no clue what to do. Should he try to fight Lucifer off? No, no that makes no sense. He did agree to be a part of this game after all. Practically begged. Sure, he didn't know there would be a penalty, but fair is fair right?
He was brought back to reality by the near-maddening sensation of slim fingers on his ribs. Okay, maybe he did have to try to get away.
"Oh? Trying to get away?" Lucifer raised a brow with a growing smirk as the demon lord pathetically pushed at Lucifer's chest, strength drained by Lucifer's touch. Through giggles, Diavolo stared up at Lucifer with pleading puppy eyes.
"Luhuhucifer! Pleahehease!" Diavolo pleaded through a sea of giggles and a sweet smile. Every time Lucifer moved his hands, Diavolo tried to grab them, failing each time due to Lucifer's swift and agile movements.
When Lucifer's fingers reached Diavolo's knees, he instinctively tried to kick at Lucifer, gaining a surprised reaction from Lucifer.
"My, my! Resorting to violence, are we..?" Lucifer leaned in towards Dia's ear before continuing. "Shall I make it more difficult for you?"
Diavolo's eyes widened as Lucifer reached his ribs, and Diavolo's bubbly giggles became louder and filled with the occasional shriek. Not knowing what else to do, he curled into a ball to protect himself from Lucifer's playful wrath.
"Had enough?" Lucifer asked in a teasing voice, though it was clear the question was genuine. Diavolo nodded vigorously, considering that every time he tried to speak, laughter flooded out instead.
Taking notice of his response, Lucifer eased up and stopped the attack, glancing fondly down at Dia. There he was on the floor still letting little giggles escape his lips, a huge smile plastered onto his face. Oh my… Lucifer thought, feeling as if a heart shaped arrow had been shot through his chest over and over. How adorable…
Leaning down in front of him, Lucifer placed a gentle kiss on Diavolo's forehead, shaking his head softly with a content smile. Who knew a demon lord could be so… cute?
hi! it’s your squealing santa! i’d really like to apologize for the delay in your fic. i had planned to post it on christmas night through the mobile app but it glitched out and deleted my entire draft, and on top of that, i’ve been so busy these past few days that it’s been hard to find time to rewrite it :(((((( rest assured it is coming, and i’ll do my best to make sure that it’s worth the wait <3
Oh no!! That sounds like a legitimate nightmare!! Thanks for the heads up and please take whatever time you need, I'm sure it'll be awesome 🥰 if it makes you feel any better, I'm also running a little behind on my Squealing Santa fic cause life is hectic lol
Also, what I do when writing fic is doing so through Google Docs (or some other free document service) so I always have a back up no matter what. I grew up in the paranoid triple save era so the automatic saving GoogleDoc offers is helpful for me.
hi, secret santa here (in february, yikes). Just messaging again to say i’m so so so incredibly sorry for making you wait so long. life really just grabbed me by my shirt collar and dragged me through mud for like, all of january, and i’ve been really wanting to make the fic perfect, or as “perfect” as i can make it, since i haven’t written in years 🤧. anyway, excuses aside, pls expect your gift sometime within the next day or two! hope you’re doing well and again i’m SO sorry for taking so long. if it helps, i’d like to send you a little snippet of my progress! would that be okay with you?
Hey there Santa!
Listen, absolutely no worries at all - I super appreciate you reaching out and keeping me update! I totally understand what you mean about January comin out swingin, it's been a rough one for me too.
But I'm looking forward to your fic!! I'm open either way to waiting for the full fic or getting a sneak preview, whichever is less pressure for you is good for me 😊
