Can Donovan Desmond Read Minds?

After chapter 106, the theory about Donovan Desmond being able to read minds is more possible than ever.

As I mentioned in my chapter 106 analysis, if he can read minds, that means he knows Twilight is a spy and he's just letting WISE play a bit before leaping into action. It also means that when he meets Anya, he'll know immediately she's a telepath and, if he's involved in Project Apple, that she's subject 007. If that happens, he'll probably want to get Subject 007 back and snatch Anya away from her parents.

There's good a reason why Anya and Desmond haven't met yet but at some point they will.

My theory about this particular issue is that no, he can't read minds like Anya, but maybe he has some sort of ability that tells him when someone is lying. After all, Donovan Desmond seemed fixated with the topic of liars since he was a child.

Don't you think that it would be a logical thing for him to want to purge all liars from the world?

This is something I've been wondering for a while now, so I decided to make a poll about it (my very first poll to exact...!! 😁)

Now we might get an answer in the next few days (or even tomorrow) about how episodes are gonna be in season 2 (making this poll pointless), but I'm still curious to know...!! 😄 And if you wanna share why you chose the answer you did, I'd love to hear it (but only if you want to of course...!! 😊)

I personally only want there to be 12 to 13 episodes this season (and every season after that) so that way the anime can be a yearly release! 😁 And don't get me wrong, I'd love to have 25 episodes like season 1, but... It'd probably adapt up to Mission 76 or a chapter close to that, which means we'll only have the 11 current chapters that have been released plus whatever chapters come after that (since Spy X Family releases bi-weekly with some breaks inbetween), we'd probably have to wait 2 to 3 years for a season 3... 😩

Here are a few choices:

Chapter 87 - while Loid clearly needs his rest, and that door slamming felt kind of final, I can't help but wonder if we'll get one more chapter here before moving on. You see, earlier this chapter it was established that Handler has those VIP files that she needs to get to Loid sometime while in the last chapter it was established that Yuri has something to tell Yor but was kicked out before he was able to share it (I doubt what he had to say was that he got 'bodyslamned' by his superior)

I can't help but imagine a scenario in which Yuri shows up in the middle of Franky being fsshhed by Yor or perhaps Handler shows up and gets hit on by a newly fsshhed Franky. I also can't rule out Becky showing up for the fun of it. Perhaps this is just wishful thinking on my part - I suppose in some ways I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum as those who complain about how slow this series is.
