Art is by one of my wonderful friends but the OC is mine.

Anyway, this is Sprucestar, formerly Sprucesky. He’s an old roleplay character who started of as just a goofy young Thunderclan warrior with a crush on the medicine cat and her sister, who somehow ended up finding out the deputy was scheming with Shadowclan’s leader to attack Thunderclan. Lynxclaw, the deputy, caught him and threatened to kill him if he said anything, and would reward him if he joined his side be becoming his deputy. Sprucesky was terrified of Lynxclaw so he just kept his mouth shut until the day Lynxclaw and Coldstar (the shadowclan leader) planned to attack. He went to go talk to Emberstar but he was too late and Shadowclan attacked. Although Emberstar was killed, so was Coldstar and Sprucesky told the clan that this was Lynxclaw’s fault. Lynxclaw got banished and the new leader was a cat named Liondash (who was the medicine cat, Moonlight’s secret mate). Well when Lionstar came back, he chose Sprucesky to be his deputy. Also, Ambergaze, Lionstar’s sister, fell in love with him. So a few moons pass, Sprucesky and Ambergaze have become mates and have their first litter of kits (they named one after Emberstar). Then Lionstar mysteriously disappears. So Sprucesky become Sprucestar and he picks Ambergaze to be his deputy. Things go great for a while until the day his second litter is born. On that day, Thunderclan is attacked by Lynxclaw, who has built his own little rogue clan called Deathclan. Lynxclaw’s mate, Holly, takes one of Sprucestar’s lives while Lynxclaw’s daughter, Vapor, kidnaps one of Sprucestar’s kits, Tricklekit. Also, Lynxfire’s son, Weed, attacks Emberpaw, Sprucestar’s son who was named after Emberstar, and Emberpaw becomes deaf in one ear. So anyway. Thunderclan gets chased off. For moons Sprucestar tries to keep his clan safe and tries to get help from the other clans. He finally gets all the clans on his side and his clan has become strong enough that they go to attack Deathclan. They succeed in defeating Deathclan, but at that moment an Earthquake comes and just wrecks their home. Ambergaze dies after falling in one of the holes the quake makes. One of his daughters from his second litter, Lionflame (named after her uncle), gets crushed by a tree, making her two sons orphans. So, with his home destroyed, Sprucestar and the other leaders go find a new home. Nothing really happens toward the end of his life and he just, dies. Nothing special. So his new deputy becomes leader and becomes Honeystar.

sleetkit: pale silver tom with dark stripes and long fur
