That politics recap was insane. The amount of work you must've put in that for us, on your own time. Like, damn girl. Where's your ko-fi? This deserves a tip, because it was more comprehensive than the news I was able to find on my own. Seriously, thanks for taking the time to do that.
Thank you! Yeah, it takes a while. My husband is the one with journalist friends and occasional ADHD hyperfixations on politics, so he puts together a document where he includes what happened in timeline order with Tweets and stuff sprinkled in; that part varies in length by how busy the scandal is, but this time around took... maybe five hours? And then I take it and write it up, which takes a few more; this time about three, I'd say. Maybe four. So yeah, this particular write-up represented a full working day lol.
I have put my ko-fi on previous installments of this stuff, because for a chunk of 2022 I was not well-off financially; but, I don't anymore because I'm doing alright now, and everyone is struggling atm. HOWEVER, if anyone is feeling strongly about tipping for my silly nonsense, I strongly recommend you sling a treat food of some sort (e.g. chocolate chips or cookie/cupcake mix or spices) into your local food bank next time you go shopping! Make things a little less bleak for someone.
Anyway, thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed

@sprinklescupcakes-orfficial
Excuse me! I have a formal complaint! The other day I had purchased one of your rainbow sprinkle cupcakes from your cupcake ATMs in a strange yellow room. Not only was I chased through said room by a very aggressive fellow, when I finally ate your product, it triggered by IBS so bad that I thought I was going to pass away. I was stuck on the toilet until sunrise this morning. It was a brutal experience. I thought I would surely expire. Though I survived, I am now fuming!
What horrors do you put in your cakes? Also, why would you put a vending machine in such a dangerous location?? Not very good for business if you ask me!
I DEMAND compensation for my suffering!! I better get a response of I will be contacting your corporate office.
Good day!

REVIEW
Sweet Success by Candace Nelson
Part autobiography and part entrepreneurship explained with catchy baking terms for section titles, this book gives a look at the way SPRINKLES became a big name in business and baking as it took cupcakes to a level they had never been before. The business had ups and downs, as did the author, and some were discussed with how they were overcome.
Having a dream is not enough, passion is not enough, hard work is not enough…in fact…even if one were to follow every suggestion in this book…one still might not succeed. This book does provide concrete steps, suggestions that are worth listening to, and a lot that can be learned. I learned that starting a business is not my personal passion but did think about the suggestions and then wondered which of my interests might have been one that would/could have become a passion that led to a successful income generating international success…
The catchy titles, headings, and subheadings were enough without being too much, the steps offered were organized in a way that would lead a person through what needs to be done, the examples of successful businesses were spot-on, and though not a complete business design tome – a good place to start when considering opening a business.
My favorite part of each chapter was at the very end where the author provided a section called, ‘food for thought’ where questions were asked that made me put my thinking cap on and in so doing…evaluate what would be required to really succeed…or…have a chance at succeeding should I ever decide to open a business.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for the ARC – this is my honest review.
 4-5 Stars

She will walk you through the steps she took to build a globally beloved brand, so you can do it too. Although she deals in frosting, there’s no sugarcoating here. Candace pushes back the kitchen door to reveal mistakes, misses, and lessons learned the hard way. Readers will learn how to: Obtain the key ingredients to any successful business Craft the mindset of an entrepreneur Learn the secret recipe for packaging a product for profit Turn kitchen experiments into top selling products Cultivate a community of brand evangelists Step into a personal brand to amplify the business Know where to put marketing dollars most effectively And much more.   In a time of unprecedented disruption and innovation, people are rethinking career and professional purpose. It’s never been a better time to start a business. Sweet Success dispels the myth that entrepreneurship is reserved for an elite few and is a must-read for anyone with a passion needing a place to start or a push along the way. At a career crossroads, instead of going to business school like her peers, Candace Nelson reflected on what she really wanted to do—and did what nobody, including Candace herself, would have expected. She poured her passion and life savings into creating the world’s first cupcake bakery. Today, Sprinkles Cupcakes and its Cupcake ATMs have become a globally recognized brand, celebration mainstay and inspiration for entrepreneurs everywhere.

Epic USA Birthday Adventure
My birthday is in April. For the first time in a number of years, I wanted to do something to celebrate my birthday. So the decision was made - I was going to spend my birthday at Walt Disney World.
From there, plans were made for an Epic Birthday Adventure….Four Australian girls taking on (select parts of) the USA.  Come along as I recap our adventure!
Part 34 – Walt Disney World Day 4, Part 4
Animal Kingdom/Disney Springs
We slowly made our way back towards the front of the park…I stopped frequently to take many photos, including quite a few of the Tree of Life and close ups of the lamps (notice the animals).
We were hungry, and as we had finished at the park for the day, headed in to Disney Springs. We had dinner at Raglan Road, and were treated to live music and dancing while we ate.
We did a little exploring/shopping before stopping at the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM before heading back to the resort
…to be continued…
