As Maddie pointed out (in subtler and kinder words) checking out hot guys' asses should have been a bigger clue.   What begins as a simple search about different labels and orientations turns into a rabbit hole deep dive. Of course he already knew about the main ones like lesbian, gay, and bi because of being such a good ally. But now he’s realizing how much more information there is. Terms like demisexual (he really wants to talk to Eddie about that one), genderqueer, and biromantic come up. There are lengthy threads about whether pansexual is really separate or not. Others about being cautious and respectful when using terms like queer and dyke. All of it makes his head spin and wonder what else he was missing. “Was I a bad ally?” He blurts out when he encounters Hen in the station’s loft. To her credit, she merely raises a perfectly arched eyebrow at him while peering over the rim of her glasses, but otherwise maintains her composure. “This isn’t some weird sexual thing, is it?” Ravi chokes on his danish, coughing and spluttering until it eventually dislodges. Chim simply picks up his coffee mug and retreats down the stairs, mumbling to himself about his delicate sensibilities. Whatever.  “Uh, no,” Buck answers, confused as to why she would even ask that. He takes a seat across from her at one of the smaller tables.

Damian Wayne "The Robin of Pets"

Just as Bruce seems to have a compulsion to adopt children, Damian seems to have inherited that gene but when it comes to pets, which are quite numerous and of all sizes and colors which are:

🐶 Tɪᴛᴜs ᴛʜᴇ Gʀᴇᴀᴛ Dᴀɴᴇ

To strengthen their father-son bond, Bruce adopted a puppy as a gift in an effort to instill empathy for others in Damian. Although Damian was initially less than enthusiastic about the idea and was even distant simply calling him "dog," over time they became very close and best friends, eventually naming him after the Shakespearean literary hero.

Spotty is a small spotted mouse who lives in the sewers of Gotham and Damian greets him every time he visits those places.

After a mission in a slaughterhouse, Damian decides to adopt his peculiar bovine friend and even after witnessing the cruelty in those places he decides to become a vegetarian.

Pennyworth adopted this one for Damian from a shelter. Damian was somewhat skeptical as he believed he could not keep it for long, but upon seeing the kitten's personality he was captivated and named it after the person who gave it to him.

🦃 Jᴇʀʀʏ ᴛʜᴇ Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ

Batman and Robin ruin the Penguin's attempt to ruin Thanksgiving thanks to Damian's trumpet. That's where he meets his feathered friend, who under the name of Jerry joins the Batfamily dinner. As a invited, not as the main course, don't worry.

During one of the League of Assassins' tests in the Year of Blood, Damian is sent to exterminate a population of Dragon-bats and just when he is finishing the objective, a small puppy moves Damian to the core because the little one, instead of hating him for what he did, it tries to console him. That's how he decides to keep him as a "trophy" and his most loyal pet.

Wiggles does not have a name during the course of the adventure but in an interaction between one of the writers and a fan he ends up being named as Wiggles the Japanese dragon. He looks at Buck expectantly.  Buck twists his lips to the side and squints, as if in thought, and Eddie thinks he shouldn’t look so adorable. “We don’t really like to think of ourselves as magical creatures,” he says.  “That doesn’t answer the question,” Eddie points out.

🏴‍☠️ Pirate au

He hits the water in anger, sending ripples across his rugged face and finding no satisfaction. His failures come from within, he doesn’t need his reflection to be reminded of that. He has to live with it like a yoke on his shoulders, growing heavier with every mistake. Giving himself one last moment to collect himself, he fills the bowl with water and prepares to face Eddie’s anger once again.
