Drawtober 2023: Eclipsed Lich

Hi this is exceptionally late on many levels. I apologize for that. I meant to post this (and several pieces) several months earlier though. Life hit as well as depression. Last year I attempted to do Mermay. But that didn't exactly work. So when I attempted to do Drawtober later in the year (along with an art prompt challenge in a Milky Way Fandom server I'm in), I combined the Mermay and Drawtober prompts I had. I took a photo of my calendar, but I do not remember what prompt this was for. I still think this turned out incredibly cool though. This is my personification of the exoplanet Lich. Something I wanted to do for this challenge and achieved was make spooky personifications of a set of exoplanets with names of spooky supernatural creatures. I've drawn Lich the most out of all of them? I imagine they're the leader of the group. They like to scare the Virgo stars. Their shared house with their roommates looks like a haunted house yet is perpetually decorated for Halloween at every moment. Can and will say things in a scary, spooky deep voice just to mess with people. Can be scary but is generally the most tame out of the group (don't say it to their face though) Lich - Me (@circifox)

Drawtober 2023: Draugr, the Revenant

The last of my four spooky skeleton exoplanet personifications-- Draugr. Besides doing a color theme and them all being skeletons, I wanted to have a third theme. Basically, I wanted to have some classic monsters but skeletal. Draugr is supposed to be a vampire skeleton. I tried to emphasize this with the bat symbols, the teeth, and the opulence with the golds and purples. Yellow was supposed to be their color theme though purple sort of just came in as well. The mythos around draugrs influenced how I colored the bones and worked on their armor. I think the four cohesively look pretty cool. Draugr - Me (@circifox)
