Drawtober 2023: Draugr, the Revenant

The last of my four spooky skeleton exoplanet personifications-- Draugr. Besides doing a color theme and them all being skeletons, I wanted to have a third theme. Basically, I wanted to have some classic monsters but skeletal. Draugr is supposed to be a vampire skeleton. I tried to emphasize this with the bat symbols, the teeth, and the opulence with the golds and purples. Yellow was supposed to be their color theme though purple sort of just came in as well. The mythos around draugrs influenced how I colored the bones and worked on their armor. I think the four cohesively look pretty cool. Draugr - Me (@circifox)

Drawtober 2023: Poltergeist, the Shrieker

Poltergeist was freaky but also fun to draw? Going along with the others of their group, their color was blue. Besides poltergeists, I was inspired by shrieking spirits like the banshee. Trying to figure out how to draw a screaming skeleton floating was something though? They're not exactly the most coherent as they mainly shriek.  Poltergeist- Me (@circifox)
