Sorry I need to yap more, I know people have pointed out this scene as a “Kevin secretly cares for the kids” moment but like.
Gregor says he’s guiding them so they can behave better. Kevin, who has actually been physically injured and held at gunpoint because of their antics, should realistically benefit from that. If he genuinely hated them or was traumatized by them, you’d think he’d be grateful that an adult is trying to help them be less chaotic and destructive.
BUT INSTEAD HE IMMEDIATELY ACCUSES GREGOR OF BEING A CREEP.
While Radford is having a film nerd moment, Kevin looks EXTREMELY skeptical and disinterested in Gregor’s whole “guiding the children to be better” talk, staring with his arms crossed and then bluntly questioning Gregor to his face. And the sarcastic “MHM” shows that he doesn’t believe Gregor at all.
Like I refuse to believe Kevin is actually that affected by Skid and Pump specifically if he’s willing to accuse Gregor of something like THAT right off the bat with no context of the situation.

Had an exam today , and I went into it feeling confident but now idk.
I also just don’t really care anymore ? Life has been so hard over the last few months - work has been kicking my ass, and it’s just made me lose so much motivation for everything even stuff outside of work like art, etc.
I really do like my job , and I have been treated really well in there by my managers , but outside of them I’m the most senior with the most responsibility- it’s been so hard trying to train a bunch of new people when I’m so new to this industry too. I’ve been insanely overwhelmed - and come home everyday with a headache. And then I rot for the evening because I’m so tired from the day -

There is a type of horror that's all about turning something friendly and familiar into something scary. Things like children, clowns and toys come to mind.
Fnaf does this with animatronics, which are usually just mascots for family friendly places like restaurants or amusement parks. That's fine, nice that they're using something that wasn't all that common in the horror scene (to my knowledge) at the time.
However.
I live in a country where animatronics just aren't a thing. Which means that my first contact with them was through Five Nights at Freddy's, and it took me some time to learn that fnaf didn't just invent them, but that animatronics do exist in real life, albeit in a less haunted form.
This means that I will always first think of fnaf when I see an animatronic, and be slightly alarmed that the animatronic is out there in public before I remember that fnaf is not the originator of animatronics. The "nice turned spooky" trope is flipped upside down here, where I first learned about the spooky before I learned about the nice. It's like seeing cars for the first time in a movie about vampire cars that thirst for blood, and only afterwards being told that cars exist irl.
