HELP NEEDED

I've accepted an offer from a UK university & it's a dream come true for me (and my family) to continue my study abroad.

But considering that our country's economy is SHITE, I've been trying to look up for ways to fund my studies. For right now, I have a potential loan I'm applying to which would go towards half of my tuition fees - unfortunate to have a loan but at least, there's something, you know?

Here's the thing though, I've heard of people being sponsored by goodwill people who are wealthy (and ig philantropic enough???) to do so - and I'm just wondering - where can I find these people. You might think I'm joking - I'm genuinely not.

I have some side hustles that can only pay me so much, so genuinely, where can I find sponsors? Honestly, of course, if it's not meant to be, then I can try next year's intake but I'm sl close - I already have an offer, I just need some financial help.

So please, good tumblr people, I need some advice or some pointers/leads I can try follow. Other than that, hope you have a blessed day regardless :D

i really think i might have an anger problem the frequency with which i lose my entire mind over something and then 5 minutes later im like wait. it was never that serious :3

#i think it's a fight response from growing up in an unstable household #and it's like im projecting onto stuff which really does not matter in order to avoid processing real emotions about real shit #idk what to do tho lmao i cannot afford therapy atm and I've exhausted all the government sponsored options #contrary to popular belief we do not have universal healthcare in the Netherlands and i think my insurance no longer covers a lot of stuff #since i turned 27 #ive been talking to my student psych recently and that's been helping a bit but i only get to see her like once a month 😭#i need a job so i can fix my mental health but i need to fix my mental health so i can get a job #or there's a secret third option of course but i think im really too much of a coward for that #and im constantly torn between wanting to completely isolate myself and rot in bed all day every day to avoid saying something #unintentionally hurtful. but then i know i will not improve if i socially isolate myself #i have not been in a conundrum this bad as far as mental health goes ever in my life gang it's serious I'm afraid

step 1: get a macbook.

seriously.

that's the answer.

screw the ipad. get yourself a macbook. they're the cleanest, most smooth technological item you'll ever lay your academic hands on.

the OLED screen makes it easy to look at for long periods of time, including white screens because the adjustable brightness its leagues better than windows (I'm still a windows fangirl don't you worry). the built in calendar lets you add dates and memos. the touchpad is so intuitive and smooth. the notes app is one of the best I've used and its so organizable. and every app just looks so. mmmm. spotify looks good. discord looks good. typing on this thing FEELS good.

typing my notes has never felt better.
