I know you've mentioned you see Hazel as bi (which is so cool!!) and I was wondering if we'd ever see bits of that in the series, like in her tmua cameos?

I think we sort of already have in MMU - the way she feels about Daisy at first is essentially a crush, although she doesn’t acknowledge it as that to herself. And then she also has crushes on Stephen and Alexander!

It may come up again in MUA, absolutely - but in Body in the Blitz there’s another character who was in a relationship with a person of one gender in the MMU series who is now in a relationship with a person of another gender! (Keeping this vague because of ~spoilers~ but there is certainly on-the-page bisexual detective rep in BITB!)

The most recent mua arc has really been bugging my, there's some small things that have just made it feel off. These are just my opinions and I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.

I feel like this is obviously but spoilers ahead.

Most of my issues revolve around AfO so let's start way before the war arch when he was introduced.

So towards of the series we're introduced to the concept of AfO. Big old scary villain that's been around since the dawn of quirks. A comic book villain that foils well with Allmights whole comic book hero vibe.

Kamino rolls around and he's still filling that roll and is a reasonable big bad bc he is, as I said a foil to All Might, they also both act as mentors to Shigy and Izuku respectively. who retires after sending AfO to Tartarus.

And here's where my issues with him start, he comes back full force along side Tomura. I think thematically AfO should not of been involved in the war. Shigy vs Izu makes more sense than Shigy/AfO vs Izu (now technically All Might gets involved with his stupid mech suit but that's currently irrelevant)

Like there's a whole theme of passing the torch, more with Allmight and Izuku but when AfO gets locked up it really seems like the main conflict will move on to Izuku and Shigy.

But nope suddenly oh AfO is back, and Allmight sorta but it's really not the same and the previous power dynamic has completely shifted.

Now onto motivations.

Prior to the war AfO's motives were unknown. Then he rolls up fresh outa jail like I'm the demon king I'm going to take over the world. And compared to the darker undertones of the show its just so jarring to throw in at the last arc (and everytime he is referred to as demon King I can't take him seriously) now if this was Known earlier I think it would of worked fine with the comic book villain to All Mights comic book hero vibe.

And they had a lot they could of done with AfO, he was born during the dawn of quirks when people with quirks were discriminated against and hunted. There's so much possibility for a villain trying to change the system in his own twisted way.

Now we know from his backstory (narratied by him should probably be taken with at least a small a grain of salt) he is incredibly cold and possessive, he saw his brother as nothing more than something that belonged to him.

And this does solidify what we know of his character and with this in mind the demon king thing makes sense but was so sudden it just feels out off

Now onto more of why he's ridiculous. His regeneration quirk turned him back so far that HE DIES BC HE REWOUND HIMSELF TO BEFORE HE WAS BORN and the fact that Bakugou is the one to cause this.

The incredibly small amount of respect I may of had for AfO has completely vanished.

But tldr: AfO's character is a mess and completely ridiculous.

While talking, he inadvertently slowed his pace, and a small wooden store broke into my view.

The display window is filled with boxes made of different materials and in different shapes

Wooden Luban locks, steel triangular cones, and nearly a hundred other strange objects occupied my eyes.

Lucien slightly leaned down and looked at the various delicate boxes with me.

Lucien: This store seems to be more special than other creative stores. Should we go in and take a look?

I nodded and walked in with Lucien. This is a small store specializing in the production of mechanical boxes. According to the guidebook, the fun of deciphering is up to five stars

Considering that I had a highly intelligent genius with me, I confidently jumped at the chance and dragged Lucien to the service desk.

A store clerk dressed in a professional style enthusiastically introduced us.

Clerk: The machine boxes you see now were designed by previous customers.

Clerk: Experience the process of choosing the box of your choice, unlock the mechanism, and get the gift left by the last customer…

Clerk: Then modify the box, design your mechanism, and put in the gifts you want to leave behind.

Clerk: If you're interested, pick a box you like.

He guided us to a wooden shelf. Looking at the different shapes, I had difficulty choosing. I glanced at Lucien and saw that he was seriously surveyed.

MC: Why are all these boxes open and clawed?

Lucien: Perhaps because the designers have different personalities, the appearance of the presentation will be very rich.

MC: That's right... Then I must look for a new one~

I said as I carefully scanned the shelves, and suddenly my eyes lit up- In one corner of the wooden shelf was an extraordinarily simple, unadorned square box.

Lucien: Ah, looks like MC has chosen?

The floor lamp mixed with the remaining sunlight, reflecting those eyes that were like deep water.

MC: Oh? Does it mean… that Professor Lucien is very confident that he can solve my modified mechanical box?

He looked at me quietly, with a look of certainty.

MC: Hmph! Just wait. I'll make it difficult for you!

However, after a few minutes, I don't know if it was because I was too slow to open the box or the store was too hot, but my palms were sweating.

MC: Uh...

There are very few buttons, but no matter how I fiddled, it did absolutely nothing.

It seems that I am not wrong about this ordinary box. It truly hides...

There was always a glance falling on me, and I curled my lips in frustration and buried my face in Lucien's coat.

MC: I don’t see any trap… But there must be a reason for so many buttons, right?

Lucien's eyes flickered, and he raised his hand to smooth out my bangs.

Lucien: I think it's supposed to… fascinate you and get you into his rhythm.

MC: …You mean, instead of thinking about the design logic of the other party, it is better to slowly decipher it according to my own rhythm?

Lucien did not say anything, just smiled. I thought about it and once again lowered my head and started tinkering.

Although I haven't figured out the pattern yet, I believe that if I patiently try every possible answer in every combination-

I would be able to discover its true side.

I don't know how long it took, but when I pressed the button for almost the 1000th time, with a "click", the box in my hand instantly fell apart into pieces of springs, iron, and small steel balls.

At the same time, there was a beautiful twinkle of light.

MC: This man is so generous. How can he give a precious gem as a gift?

I took the gemstone and held it out in front of Lucien. His deep eyes were slightly twinkling within the translucent gemstone.

MC: It's so beautiful… I discovered that it looks a lot like your eyes.

He smiled, and his fingertips pointed to the gem that I was holding.

Lucien: This seems to be a poudretteite*, one of the rarest gemstones in the world.

MC: This gift is too valuable!

Lucien: I think it shows that the man really valued his own design.

Lucien: He knows very well that this box is difficult to crack, so the person who can unlock it-

Lucien: -must be worthy of this precious gift.

MC: Then I have to cherish it properly, not only because it is precious, but also because it is proof of my hours of effort!

After I said that, I carefully put the gem into my bag. However, looking at the parts scattered in front of me, I was in a dilemma.

MC: The whole thing is scattered. How do I modify it?

Lucien reached out and took a spring scattered all over the table.

Lucien: I guess he set up an automatic disassembly mechanism after opening, so it cannot be put back once successfully opened.

Lucien: It seems that the designer only wanted one person to unlock it. Unfortunately-

He changed his tone and blinked at me a little worriedly.

Lucien: What should happen to my gift?

MC: Eh?

He pointed to the scattered parts, and I reacted immediately, poking his palm with some embarrassment.

MC: But the box is impossible to re-assemble now…

Lucien: But that was an uncontrollable accident. The gift MC promised me shouldn't be affected by this, should it?

He silently caught my finger and softly hooked it as if he had been greatly wronged.

MC: So, according to Professor Lucien, now I owe you a gift, right?

He winked slyly and nodded as a matter of course.

Lucien: Yes, and I'll remember to ask for it.

Whose idea was to give MC a flute and tell them they could play???

1st.

➙ Poor man can’t take a break. If it isn’t Mammon it’s Satan and Belphie, if it isn't them it’s Diavolo or Mephisto. If it’s not one of the mentioned above it’s you. It had to be you. He has already come to terms and has surrendered to his destiny surrounded by morons, some more lovely than others but morons at the end of the day. You’re part of the black list. ➙ Anyways, he couldn’t care less about who bought you what. He only mildly cares because he’s in charge of the house finances (or so he tells himself that). One day, a bill arrived at his desk. It was a small purchase, harmless even.

➙ A flute. A human instrument. Well this could be good for a cultural exchange, no? Poor thing had no idea you couldn’t play at all but he discovered it soon enough. He was busy, as always. But then the faintest sound made his way to his office. It was almost a shy, far away sound but soon enough it grew louder. What was it? Was it Beel’s stomach rumbling again? No, his stomach couldn’t have made such a flakey sound. Then it went to a piercing high pitched hellish sound. Now that is torture if he ever knew one. ➙ He can’t concentrate now. The sound comes and goes but it bothers him so, so much. He can’t bear it so he stands up and looks for the culprit. Spoiler alert. It 's you, MC. Playing the flute, now that he hears it closely it’s even worse. ➙ He comes and before he can say anything you hit him with the deer eyes. You’re gushing about the gift and how you want to learn how to play it. You’re beaming.The man doesn’t have the heart to tell Solomon his cooking sucks, why would he have the heart to tell you the sounds you call music are killing his sanity? He can’t. It’s a parent trying to take away their child's favorite toy, an annoying loud toy that was a gift from an uncle. ➙ He can’t, so he gives up the weakest thumbs up and leaves. He might as well invest in a pair of noise canceling ear plugs. Ah, yes. Peace and quiet. ➙ Just because you weren’t punished means that someone in the house won’t be. Now there’s a manhunt for the one who bought you the flute. Beware, whoever you are, you’ll feel all of Lucifer’s wrath. 

2nd.

➙ “WHO THE HELL IS MAKING THAT AWFUL SOU– Oh, hey, it’s you MC.” He, like the gorgeous dumbass he is, was walking towards the sound. You see, the flute kind of sounds like one of his little devilish crows. ➙ But this one sounded hurt. He was really worried, you see. Judging by the sound the poor thing cried in a tune of pain! Well, guess what, it’s a flute Mams! ➙ Mister man can’t tell Solomon his cooking sucks, do you think he is going to tell YOU something? No, he is going to endure it yes or yes. He is your fist man after all! He should be able to endure something small like this, no? ➙ You may notice Mammon is missing whenever it’s time to practice): when you ask him about it he gets nervous and dances around the topic. Mc he doesn’t have that great of a musical ear you know? ➙ Anyways he ends up coming to your practices a lot more. ➙ Also gets questioned by everyone. For some reason a lot of his siblings think HE is the one who bought you the flute but Mammon didn’t even know what a flute sounded like, dawg. He doesn’t go scold free because, obviously, Lucifer doesn’t believe him for some reason. ➙ He likes to spoil you, he really does, it’s his love language. But he would know if he bought you the flute, no? That’s when everyone realizes he isn’t the perpetrator, he isn’t nervous at all or trying to hide it. ➙ The manhunt continues. 

4th.

➙ He may have popped a vein. ➙ Picture this, he was reading all calmly. About to dive into the climax of the book, a mystery book. He was so sure he had solved the mystery. He just knew it. He was reading the paragraph that was to confirm or deny his hypothesis. Then it hit him. Just in the middle of it. ➙ Needless to say it ruined the experience for him a little bit. Don’t get him wrong, he is used to his brother's nuisance and noises but that thing was for somewhere deeper in hell. Partially mad, partially curious, he went on to investigate. He, just like the cats he likes so much, is very curious. ➙ It’s you. He deadpans. ➙ Well, it’s not like he was particularly mad about it. He paces a little in the hallway before approaching you. Just letting the steam blow off of him. Curiosity overpowering him. Was this a new form of torture? Have you discovered you have sadistic tendencies? Could you perhaps lend him the instrument to torture someone? ➙ Then the expression in your face changes. Ah, MC! He was joking, sorry! ➙ After talking it out he does confess you kind of suck, sorry… Ah, you are aware? Well aren’t you a little cheeky thing. He’ll keep the secret but you’ve got to practice more around Lucifer, you know? ➙ In the end he researches some books to give you in music theory and along those lines. He even learns a little himself to teach you. ➙ He is now part of your secret club that know you are kind of torturing his brothers in purpose (no complains, they deserve it).  ➙ Also doesn’t involve himself in the manhunt, he doesn’t care which makes him a suspect and after getting into a fight he is a free man. 

5th.

➙ He walks into the house, beaming. Shopping bags in toe and DDD in his hand. Gossip’s hot and interesting. He then does a full stop and looks around. ➙ Wow, somebody is being naughty in this house and nobody is doing anything about it? Well, they do sound like they’re in pain so maybe it’s one of his brothers being annoying? He carries on his day, deciding to ignore it. ➙ It’s been going for a while… Is this torture? All this frowning is going to give him wrinkles! But why doesn’t anybody else react? Is he going crazy? Is this gaslighting? Well, it’s working and the beautiful man is going insane! He can’t ignore it any more! ➙ On his way to complain to either Satan or Lucifer whoever is available at the moment. Find Lucifer first. Then the eldest brother just looks at him, Lucifer are you even sleeping? Those eyebags! Your face, noo! That’s it, mysterious sound, you can’t just come in and destroy his attractive but not attractive as his brother's faces! That’s going too far! Before Lucifer can even warn him who is making the sound he runs off, not before grumbling about some skincare he has to follow now and the promise he’ll get him the products. ➙ Debates if he should call Solomon. Maybe it’s a ghost and an exorcism needs to be done. ➙ Then something sparkles in him. Is his dear MC alright? Oh no, the poor thing must be terrified! Worry not Asmo’s in his way! ➙ It’s you. He almost… no, he cries. Cries and whines. MC, how could you?! Do you know his face could break out from the stress? Of course you didn’t! ➙ Can’t really get mad at you. It’s your little toy): and you're happy. (if you were down beforehand his heart wouldn’t allow him to actually complain complain). ➙ Well, you should repay him with cuddles and love and attention!  It’s only fair, you know? If he hears the flute he will try to give you love, compliments, gossip, anything to distract you until you forget about practicing. The House of Lamentation is very grateful for his contribution. 

6th.

➙ He was eating in the kitchen when the noise began. At first he thought it was an insect buzzing near his ear or something along those lines, you know. Maybe the sound will go away on his own. He's got more important things going on like gulping down his food. ➙ Then he focuses in the sound. Doesn’t it sound dangerously close to your room? So with half a burger still in his mouth he goes to assess the situation, a little nervous. ➙ Ah, the sound it’s you MC! He thought it was a new kind of hell insect that was dangerous, phew. He’s glad it’s only that weird whistle coming out of that thing you’re holding. ➙ Mammon, who was with you, stares at Beel, horrified. Then you laugh at that. Well, yeah you kind of really sound bad but that’s the point of learning, no? ➙ Le gasp from Mammon. ➙ Beel just sits down and stares at you. Well, yeah, the sound isn’t pleasing but it isn’t the worst he’s heard. You just need practice and he can just accompany you, something he enjoys doing. Cue Mammon leaving you, for this instance only and strictly only when you’re practicing. ➙ You reveal the secret and that Satan has been teaching you. You change the tune and while it isn’t perfect it’s an improvement. Beel is now part of the secret club of torturing his brothers. Ngl, he does enjoy it and feels special. 

7th.

➙ Who’s screeching? Is this Asmo again? Or is it Levi? *They both are famous in the house for their screeches and whines after all). ➙ He is pissed, he was sound asleep but he eventually pick up on the sound. A constant and irritable whine that sounds like it’s right in his ear. He just lays in bed, doing nothing. Debating if he should go to the source or wait for someone to do something about it. ➙ Spoiler, no one does anything. Then he hears Mammon half-heartedly complimenting you. ➙ Going to the source it is then. Walking to where you are proves a difficult task as he’s exhausted but he keeps going out of pure spite. He gets to your hideout and just s t a r e s. ➙ You see him, he sees you. He stares at you and you stare back. Then you apologize, did you wake him up? Yes, indeed, and now he’s all cranky, MC. Mammon tries to give a half assed apology and tries to hush him out of the room. Belphie is not having it and straight up ignores him. ➙ Lays his head right in your lap. Punishment is all he says. You can choose here, be a meanie and keep playing with the flute. Or two, just give in and take a break. Choosing the former can make grumpy Belphie but he will refuse to leave your lap, out of spite, again. The latter is the pacifist route and the one where you get to nap, yeah. ➙ Now he hides the flute from time to time to get a moment of quiet and peace.

3rd.

➙ It was him. He’s the guilty one. Somebody come and get this guilty man. ➙ But you can’t really blame him! You were watching a human world anime together and you were beaming when the instrument was on the screen! He was being nice, you know. ➙ It was a mistake, oopsie? He is very supportive, tho. He even buys himself a flute too and practices in the corner of his room to surprise you. You often practice together, too. His room is perfect for that as it’s soundproof! ➙ He wasn’t expecting for shit to hit the fan): MC why. ➙ He was hanged from the ceiling with Mammon, why was Mammon there? He doesn’t know. What he does know it’s that he won’t get you any other instrument. He also found out you were cheating on him with Satan and Beel! You meanie! I mean, he was practicing behind your back too but he was trying to impress you!): ➙ Will do again though. 

As for you. Why did you do it? Answer is why the hell not?! It was about time you got them back>:( It’s their fault for thinking you were harmless, you were just waiting in the shadows for an opportunity to arise to torture them back.

BONUS: Diavolo caught wind of this situation and decided to give the flute a try too! Now you too practice together! Barbatos isn’t very happy but oh well. Luke also joins you two from time to time and Simeon only watches. This may or may not end up as material for his writing.

This chapter was great, amazing, interesting, fantastic and just mua~👌���

It has a strong felling of the finallity. Habrivores enter the back alley market, Louis is hit with sudden realisation how Legosi sees him, Legosi finally pushes Melon back, our heroes are for the first time called Beastars in, well, official situation... There's a lot to unpack.

We don't know what heppens with Gosha and Melon's father though.

It's hard to list all the great moments from this chapter without reposting the whole thing. Here are some pages though, so it will be easier for me to explain my fellings:

We didn't really know before how average carnivore feels about eating meat. It's interesting that Legosi and Aoba aren't the only ones that don't really want to eat it, even if would be healthier for them.

[With Aoba (the eagle) I'm refering to the situation from very beggining of the story when Legosi and his friends accidently wandered into the back alley market]

I wonder what the animal society will do about back alley market after the turf war ends.

Did you see it? Did you see it?!

From the very beggining of the turf war Legosi considered himself and Louis as a team while Louis was panicking like a damsel in disstres that he can't do anything while Legosi is out there fighting and possibly dieing. When Louis gets to know that he emediatly sides with Legosi and helps him up. Presumably to fight Melon together.

It's so symbolic! Carnivore and habrivore duo joined by frendship (which is also a type of love) fighting a hybrid born from mistakes and filled with hate~

Going even further, Melon is the embodiment of interspecies hate, he was raised with this mindset, he hates both sides of himself, he would gladly destroy everybody and then himself. Melon believes there's no chance for habrivores and carnivores to get along so strongly that he prefers to make the conflict worse.

When he sees Louis helping Legosi up and interspecies crowd watching in peace he is outright shocked.

It's the culmination of the whole story.

Besically I just described the obvious but there you are.

Just wanna start by saying that my expectations have been pretty lowkey thoughout The Mandalorian, so I’m afraid my opinions are kinda open ended 😅😅

The thing I’m actually most critical about (in general) is the cinematography/editing/direction, and for this episode was kinda disappointing lol,,, The fight scenes were also a bit... hmm 😐

I was kinda spoiled on Ahsoka’s debut in this episode by a few posts being really disappointed by her design, namely her montrals+lekku. It would’ve been awesome if they were more pronounced; her overall head/face appearance (in general) did take some time to get used to, but I eventually warmed up to it.

I don’t doubt the MUA team really wanted to make taller montrals and longer lekku, so obviously a compromise had to be made (for action or whatever). Yeah they probably didn’t have to be that short, and the makeup could’ve been waaay better, but overall a very cool looking live-action interpretation.

I was kinda hoping Ahsoka would’ve accepted to train Baby Yoda/Grogu (goodness knows this menace child desperately needs a master), and I think that’s what we were all expecting which is probably why the writers denied us of that chance ahahaha. I’m torn between wanting more Ahsoka/Jedi content, and also being worried that path will stray too much away from the space cowboy vibe we got going on (also unsure how this feels like we’re turning into SW: Rebels)?

The ending with them parting ways could also just be an excuse for the show to not go balls-deep into Jedi territory just yet. I do hope it was the writer’s intention for Ahsoka’s decision to not train Grogu, to have stemmed from her own fears of not wanting to create another ‘Anakin-Vader’ situation, rather than this episode being a one-off marketing scheme cameo.

This show all has to link up to be canon-compliant with the sequel trilogy somehow, and I’ve always wondered how/why Disney would create a character (Grogu) that seems so special/exceptional/unique in this universe but not have them play a key role in the future of the galaxy/force/etc. when all that stuff was going down in the new movies.

It might be a nice character arc for Ahsoka to eventually agree to training Grogu, finally coming to terms with what happed to Anakin, letting go of that guilt, and realising it was her own fear that prevented her from training Grogu in the first place (rather than Grogu’s emotions/fear that she thought would make him untrainable). That way Ahsoka can take Grogu to train him on nomadic Jedi adventures!!! And they can happily ignore the dumpster fire that is the rise of Palpatine and another badboy Skywalker.

I do have another theory about where Grogu might ultimately go if he is to fulfil his ‘Jedi’ potential, but I doubt Disney will do it, and it doesn’t have a happy ending :D!

I have a solid theory as to who will be in the Escape the Night Season 5 cast.

Also, spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen seasons 1-4.

Ok, so my theory is that the souls in the Jar of Souls are going to be the Season 5 cast. And the people from the jar are going to save Joey from Pandora’s Box.

Now, we know of 6 people in the jar of souls.

Liza Koshy, who was literally put there in Episode 1 of Season 4.

Shane Dawson, LaurDiy, Jesse Wellens, Manny MUA, and Safiya Nygaard.

Now, I’m really excited because those are some of my favorite characters.

I’m assuming Joey will also be in it because, you know, it’s literally his show.

But, each season has 10-11 people including Joey. so that means that there are probably 3-4 more souls in the Jar.

There is also a chance that the 3-4 people will include Bretman, Colleen, Nikita, and Mat. But I’m hoping that they’re just the SAE members who help the YouTubers with their journey.

Also I’m pretty sure that there are only going to be 10 people, since literally every season (except for S1) has 10 people.

So who are the other three souls in the jar?

It honestly could be anyone who fits this criteria:

A: Isn’t a survivor

B: Didn’t die in Season 4.

This list includes Andrea B, GloZell, Sierra, Matt H, Lele, JC, Roi, and Teala.

Really it could be any of those people, but when I looked at statistics from season 4, how many dudes and girls are in each season, times of death, and a few other factors, I got a pretty good idea of the three other souls in the jar.

So every single season has an almost equal amount of dudes and gals, counting Joey (Season 1 has 6 girls and 5 dudes, every other season has 5 and 5.)

Assuming Season 5 will be the same, then the three unknown souls in the jar are one dude and two girls, since we already have Liza, Jesse, Lauren, Manny, Saf, and Shane (3 and 3)

If Joey counts, which I’m sure he does since it’s his show, that’s 4 guys and 3 girls.

So we’re looking for 1 guy and 2 girls.

Now I started looking at Time of Death in the season, or TOD, to see if it had any connection.

Season 4 had characters who were previously dead. Their previous deaths accounted as 2 early deaths (Justine, DeStorm) 2 mid deaths (Tana, Colleen) and 4 late deaths (Tim, Alex, Ro, and Gabbie)

Now, the confirmed souls already have three early deaths (Lauren, Jesse, and Shane), one mid-season death (Liza) and two late deaths (Manny and Saf)

I’m assuming that there could be 0-1 early death people, 1-3 mid-season death people, and 1-2 late death people based on statistics.

The question is, who are these people?

Well, we can rule out Andrea, JC, and Roi. I just don’t think that there would be that many early deaths. Being said, Teala is an early/mid death, so I’m not going to rule her out.

None of the mid-season deaths can be ruled out because there could be up to three of them.

Finally, we have Lele. Lele is the ONLY late death. Which means that, surprise surprise, she’s one of the three souls! A lot of people wanted her back last season so it would be a smart move on the ETN production people (is that a thing?) to put her back in. Also, she was one of the people on the gem in season 3, so I feel like they always meant to bring her back eventually.

Now we have three late deaths. I think it’s safe to assume that there will also be three mid-season deaths and three early deaths.

There are already three early deaths, which brings us to the mid deaths. The last category.

And I was super excited when I figured this one out.

So, we need a dude. Only one. And guess what? There’s only one option left.

ITS MY BOY MATT!

I was rooting for him throughout this whole thing I did, and when I finally figured out that he is one of the most probable options, I was STOKED. I’m aware that everyone hates him, but I don’t, so I’m happy.

We’re down to the final soul. I was confident in my first answer, but now that I rethink it, it could be one of two girls.

So lastly is GloZell, Sierra, and Teala.

Season 4 had two people from season 1, four people from season 2, and two people from season 3.

The jar of souls currently has three people from season 1, three people from season 2, and two people from season 3.

Now, this could go one of three ways.

GloZell comes back and gets revenge on Joey.

Sierra comes back and cures Matt’s depression.

Teala comes back and... does Teala things?

I don’t think GloZell will be one of the people to rescue Joey from Pandora’s Box. He literally killed her and she definitely wouldn’t help the group save him.

So that leaves it to Sierra and Teala.

I feel like if Sierra comes back, Matt also has to be there, because she’s literally most remembered for being killed by him during the exorcism.

And if there is actually a fourth unknown soul in the jar, which there may be, since Joey is trapped and may not be a part of the group next season, then that changes everything. Andrea, JC, and Roi could even be the fourth soul if it exists. But I think that since Joey stars in the show, that he will be a part of the group.

I truly think that it could be either Teala or Sierra. If they have the same amount of people from each season, then it would be Teala. If they double the season 1 number from Season 4, then it would be Sierra.

But hey, that’s just a theory.

A theory that took me way too long to research and make.

(Ha, you thought I was gonna say film theory. I didn’t.)

TL;DR: Matt is my favorite and I’m pretty sure he’s one of the unkown souls in the jar of souls, as is Lele, and maybe Sierra or Teala. And the people in the Jar of Souls may be the Season 5 cast.

okay I understand if you can't say bc of spoilers, but I am dying to know absolutely anything you can share about Felix and Lucy's baby! when was she born? how does Felix adjust to another chaotic young human to deal with? what are Daisy and Hazel and Bertie like with her? again no worries if u can't answer and I love this series so much, thank you for writing it

I absolutely can! She’s not really part of this book and I’m honestly not sure how much about her actually got into the final draft. Her name is Tess and she’s still very tiny during BITB, which is why the Mountfitchets don’t really feature (which kind of is a plot point I guess! They’re overwhelmed and busy with her). In the original draft of MUA Aunt Lucy was extremely pregnant but I cut that scene out - so I think Tess was born around Christmas 1940. She’s a very colicky and angry baby - a lot like I imagine Daisy must have been, so of course Daisy is horrified by her. Bertie thinks she’s very funny but isn’t much interested in her yet. Hazel … I’d say she’s polite about her but again not hugely interested in her yet. She has a weird history with babies, after all!

10 Christmas Gifts ‘for her’ if you’re completely clueless

Since it's apparently time to start thinking about that time of year I thought I'd jump on and attempt to give you some help in an attempt to spark​ some ideas. Whether you're using this list for ideas for your other half, your mum or sister, or even if you are that person that likes something on this list why don't you send it over as a wee hint... the irony of this is that I've banned my boyfriend from looking at this list as there's a few spoilers on here for his gifts! (Hope he enjoys a wee eyeshadow palette😬).

So let’s start...

1. AIRPODS

I'm sure this will be a big gift this year and a perfect gift if you know they'll be getting a new phone or laptop! Perfect for a music lover or just the person that always needs to have the next big thing! I'd recommend planning to get a pair of these bad boys from Amazon or Currys during the Black Friday sale.

2. STUDIO LIGHT

A gift my mum got me unexpectedly a few years back and I haven't looked back. Not just for the MUA or photography student in your life but even just for every day make up application and I know my friends always use mine for checking their outfits or taking selfies before a night out! I've shown in the product photo how you can get a full sized one or a desk sized one easily on Amazon, your choice. Along this line would also be a Hollywood mirror, the big vanity mirrors with the bright lights installed but they can be hard to source as they're so popular and you need to make sure they're the bright studio lights. Top tip would just be to check the dimensions so you know what you're getting.

3. POLAROID CAMERA

I wanna say this is a cult favourite. I don't know many girls who don't have one of these now but if your gift recipient is one of them then it'd be a great gift! They're a great idea for Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries because it means you can capture the memories and of course ironically take a photo of the polaroid with your phone and post it to Instagram!! They come in a variety of colours and you can purchase accessories and refillable polaroid packs for other special occasions after, making it the gift that keeps on giving.

4. VINYL PLAYERS

Another gift that keeps on giving. If they're a real music lover and always have Spotify going in their room, and with the lack of concerts this year, this would be a very thoughtful gift. You can get these lads pretty cheap on Amazon or fork out for the pricey ones from UO. The only downside is that the actual Vinyl records themselves is where this gifts will cost you the most, but at least you'll always have an idea for next years present.

5. FOREVER ROSES

Now these guys can be quite boujee and I remember them being really popular a few years ago. If you type 'forever roses' into google or, probably better yet, Instagram you'll get a lot of companies selling gift sets of these specially preserved roses that can last for years. An incredibly romantic and surprising gift, this one can cost you big bucks but if you shop around enough you can get single roses for around £20 or major bunches for a few hundred but it's sure to win you major brownie points.

6. LUSH

This is the standard gift and perfect for a Christmas Eve bath. If you couldn't come up with this present on your own then please pay close attention to this blog because oh buddy you will need it! There are so many gift boxes to choose from at Lush and the great thing is you can't go wrong with any of them. Not to worry if you don't have a bath too because I also have you covered with these Lush sprays which are sooo good that you won't need to work out what their favourite perfume is for the third year in a row. (Also a great brand to support for its morals which is a bonus!!)

7. BLANKETS

Not only perfect for those cosy Winter and lockdown nights but also a great home decor item that is so popular on Instagram! These massive knit blankets can get incredibly pricey online, ranging from 20ish quid for a tiny one to a few hundred for the massive ones, so if you're willing to pay that then go ahead but top tip is to have a look in Home Bargains because they had these guys in all year for £25 and even Primark Home had a few in recently but I'd get ahead of the game for this one before they sell out...

8. JEWELLERY

Now I'm not a massive jewellery fan myself but some girls just go ga-ga for a princess ring. If you're wondering if your girlfriend/sister/daughter is one of them you can identify these people by their less-than-subtle 'just gonna post this here xx' social media posts sharing the Pandora sales. I know most boys get scared to choose jewellery in case the person 'doesn't like it' blah blah but chances are unless they've told you somethng they specifically want or you've been missing some massive hints (ie. ring photos 'accidentally' sent to you) then they'll appreciate literally anything you choose. It's the idea you've went and chosen something specifically for them more than the item itself that matters. If you like it, they'll like it more. The big site is Pandora and many sites like it will have 'Christmas Gift Guide' sections to make it super easy for you. Top tip: you could do a wee price low-high if this is just an add-on gift and although it's horrible to say they will most likely look it up and check how much you spent on it... sorry about that!

9. EYESHADOW PALETTE

Now this is one you will most likely skip over because it feels like delving into a massive jungle with no map and no water and actually no shoes and no clue whatsoever of where to start. That's what boys feel like trying to buy girls make up and I really can't blame you. In fact, if you haven't been told exactly what to buy then who could blame you but if you're really looking to impress and go the extra mile and know they like make up then I'm going to attempt to help you as best I can and try and keep it really simple! So, first of all you'll need to somehow have a look at their collection when they're getting ready or be super stealthy and just double check they don't have the palette you're going to get them.

This is important. Right, so question one is do they watch YouTubers do make up? Because if they do then simply find out who they watch and check if that influencer has a palette or collab with a makeup brand because then your job is done for you!! If they've told you all about the James Charles/Tatti/Jefree Starr drama that encapsulated YouTube in the past then find out who's side they support because all three of those guys have palettes! James Charles x Morphe Artistry palette, Tatti has her own brand, or if they came out supporting Jeffree Starr and Shane Dawson in the whole fiasco then the Jeffree Starr 'Conspiracy palette' is for you. To each their own. These two main palettes I've featured on the left below for you to have a look at.

The top right palette is the new HUDA Beauty Naughty Nude palette and it's the one I'd go for if you're really unsure still! It's a new release so doubtful they have it and there's no crazy colours so can be used by everyone. It would be my top recommendation for make up this Christmas.

The three below that are all YouTuber/Influencer collabs with makeup brands that have been pretty popular this year. From the left: BPerfect x Stacey Marie Carnival III Love Tahiti Palette is one to get if you know they love doing colourful and adventurous looks, middle: Carli Bybel Palette x Anastasia Beverly Hills and far right: BPerfect x Jah Makeup Artist Clientele Palette are both perfect for more simple looks or if they don't go wild with colour and are both from big brands so will be very much appreciated!

God, this really could have been its own post where I explained it a bit better but alas...

10. HAIR CURLERS/WAVER

Maybe they're not as into makeup and prefer hair, or maybe they just love both? Then a Beauty Works hair styler would be a boujee gift for them. So, for this you can do the standard version of the products (gold) or you can do the newer versions in the collab with Molly Mae (pink). It's up to you. These products are pricey but great quality. First is the hair curler (Professional styler) which is great if both you and they love their hair curly, and you can't go wrong with Molly Mae's signature bouncy curls. The second option is a new trend in hair his year, The Waver, which creates the mermaid waves that I've pictured Molly Mae wearing below (and yes boys they’re different than curls) and a great gift if they already have the curler. Top tip: is to get these lads while ASOS have 20% off because you're grabbing yourself a bargain or if you're really on a budget many brands do these products without the hefty price tag.

BONUS: GIFT ADVENT CALENDER

This year there is a major boom in the idea of gift advent calendars, so behind every door is a small gift instead of chocolate. Now what would be super adorable is to buy advent boxes online and fill them yourself with personalised gifts but luckily many brands have brought out their own versions! The best one I have saw so far this year is this PrettyLittleThing beauty calendar but it has been sold out for some time now! ASOS etc. are doing their own versions and there have even been adorable versions in the likes of HomeBargains and B&Ms where you can get candle or even alcohol versions.

Well, I hope this helped even a little bit! If you're really on the ball you'll have noticed I haven't included anything like the staple Primark pyjamas or everything seems catered towards girlfriends or 'for her' but not to worry I've many more versions planned, including 'for him', 'on a budget', and 'how to dress up your present'!

OKay, Fakir is maybe not coming off in the best light here and I feel like that’s valid. But in full fairness, he’s telling Ahiru that there’s no way he’s going to allow her to unmake literally everything he’s trying to do. He’s shutting that down all the way. I appreciate a man of principles, sometimes even if they’re insane, but I think Fakir sees this as some sort of noble sacrifice. It’s his job to be the bad guy! It’s his job to let Mytho be miserable so that the world can be better! 

And I think that’s what’s in his “Don’t get carried away when you know nothing.” it’s not “mua ha ha I put Mythos’ blandness in my tea each morning and the crop is rich” it’s “You don’t understand what I have to do” 

And don’t misunderstand me, people like Fakir get carried away all the fucking tie with the idea that because no one can understand their sacrifice they don’t need to be held accountable and fuck you for wanting me to be. *cough* Ana *cough* But I’m saying I get it, it’s not a fun job or position and whoever you are in the story clearly you’ve been slotted into it.

G’day everyone!

Thanks to the EA Game Changers Program, last Sunday SimGurus Jill, Morgan and Geoff hosted a super secret private live stream for those of us in the program who weren’t able to attend EA Play and I am so excited to finally be able to share all the information I learned about Island Living and the upcoming free patch with you guys!

I don’t have any new screenshots or gameplay to show you but I did take pages and pages of notes so I’ve spent the better part of today trying to condense those down and put them in order so that you guys can have a look over them and read about some of the amazing new stuff that’s coming in this pack.

Just be aware that because we weren’t able to take screenshots or record the stream, all I had to refer to while putting this all in a post is my own notes and while I did my best to simultaneously listen carefully, write everything down, fend off my cats, and stop myself falling asleep... I could have easily missed something or some information could be wrong because it was 4am in the morning and my cats get bitey when I don’t pay attention to them lol You should definitely check out some of the other Game Changers posts and videos to see if they have any information I missed too!

There is also a                     beautiful (and useful) waterfall and possibly a hidden cave but                     shhh, it’s a secret!

Careers

   🌴 Fishing/Diving Career               - Fishing will also be getting a big update (I think in the upcoming free                   patch). There will be new fish to collect, a fish trap, a high skill cast,                   re-tuning and new fishing spots in lots of worlds

   🌴 Lifeguard

   🌴 In an upcoming patch, all teen part-time careers will be made available for          all ages

Gameplay + Activities

MERMAIDS!!!

   🌴 Sims can become mermaids via gameplay or you can make one in CAS           (they are under the occult life states menu)    🌴 There are a ton of new customization options for mermaids in CAS,           including eyes, tail shapes and textures, teeth, tops that match the tails.    🌴 Instead of a hygiene bar, mermaids have a hydration bar that will slowly           drop the longer they are out of water    🌴 Mermaids who spend too long out of water might get a cramp, or a           sudden chill, or get very tired if their hydration becomes too low    🌴 You can raise their hydration by having them drink a glass of water, take a           shower, go out in the rain, splash about under a waterfall, or have a bath    🌴 If your mermaid decides to have a bath (even a bubble bath) their tail will           reappear and hang over the side of the tub!    🌴 There was no mention of whether or not mermaids tails reappear when           they’re in a pool but I would assume so?    🌴 Mermaids can give birth to Merbabies!    🌴 While Merbabies can be born, Merchildren won’t manifest into their tales           and power until they’re teens    🌴 Mermaids have some pretty cool powers               - Siren Lullaby - Sing one of the four different siren songs to a                   human sim to provide them with a moodlet… for good or bad is up                   to you               - Summon Ocean Threat - Will drag a sim underwater and drain the                   needs of a human sim to a dangerously low level.    🌴 Using powers will drain your mermaids hydration quicker    🌴 Mermaids have their own cool little plumbob, similar to aliens and           vampires    🌴 If you’re sick of being a Mermaid (we can’t be friends anymore), you can          find some special kelp to help you with that

OCEAN SWIMMING

   🌴 Sims can now swim in the ocean!    🌴 Ocean swimming is only possible in Sulani, not other worlds BUT the           Gurus did say that extending ocean swimming to the rest of the worlds is           not off the table just yet and may come at a later date. They just really           wanted to nail it for Island Living before even thinking about making it           possible in other worlds.    🌴 Toddlers can’t swim (obviously) but there are little shallow areas of the           ocean they can sit in and splash around    🌴 If you have Cats & Dogs installed your pets will also be able to swim in the           ocean    🌴 Sims will receive moodlets depending on what’s happening while they           swim. Eg. If they see a shark, or a beautiful sunset    🌴 Sometimes while your sims are in the ocean, they might think they see a           shark… they might be right, they might not. Either way, I wouldn’t stick           around to find out!

SNORKELING + SCUBA DIVING

   🌴 Sims can snorkel around Sulani’s reefs and shallows    🌴 Snorkeling is fully animated    🌴 Sims can also scuba dive by clicking on a buoy and paying the fee for           scuba gear    🌴 Scuba diving is a rabbit hole activity, there a no animations    🌴 Sims can take photos underwater whilst snorkeling and diving and keep           them as souvenirs    🌴 There may be treasures and a secret area to be found whilst diving as           well but don’t quote me on that, I was distracted by my cat jumping on           my keyboard at the time lol

DOLPHINS

   🌴 Your sims can now befriend a dolphin!    🌴 Dolphins can be found playing around buoys (possibly only twice a day?)    🌴 Sims can work on friendship with dolphins by feeding them fish, playing           with them, and teaching them tricks.    🌴 They can even be renamed so you know exactly which dolphin is your           friend

BOATS

   🌴 Outrigger Canoe               - Sims can fish off the edge of them, nap in them, and they are able to                   be dragged into your sims inventory

   🌴 Aqua zip (jet ski)               - Sims can do tricks on the Aqua Zip. The higher your sims fitness skill,                   the better tricks they can do. Aqua Zips can also be dragged into                   your sims inventory

LOUNGERS + BEACH TOWELS

   🌴 Your sims can now relax and sunbathe on the beach (or at home) in           lounge chairs and on beach towels    🌴 One lounge chair will also be available for free in an upcoming base game           update    🌴 Floating loungers are also coming with Island Living. They have similar           interaction to regular lounge chairs but  sims can also sunbathe nude on           floating loungers and can be splashed by other sims in the water. They           can also be used in pools!    🌴 All loungers, floating and non, and towels are able to be dragged into           your sims inventory and taken with them

TANNING + SUNBURN

   🌴 Tanning and sunburns are exclusive to Island Living    🌴 You can “opt-in” to have your sim tan or sunburn using a float lounger,           lounge chair or beach towel    🌴 Tans and sunburns will take into account what your sim is wearing at the           time    🌴 Mischievous sims can also “sabotage” sims who fall asleep in the sun with           some strategically placed lotion. These “sabotaged” sunburn patterns           are completely random and there may be some funny little easter eggs in           there

VOLCANOES + WATERFALLS

   🌴 The natural island of Mua Pel’Am is home to an active volcano and your           most adventurous sims can even live right next to it if they want    🌴 There is also a gorgeous waterfall on the natural island of Mua Pel’Am           that is not only very romantic (wink wink), but also can be used as a           shower by sims living off the grid

CONSERVATION

   🌴 Your sims will be able to clean up the beaches of Sulani, which will impact           the rest of the islands    🌴 At max level conservation the scenery of the islands change to be more           beautiful, more wildlife (butterflies, turtles etc) will show up, and you           might even see some bio-luminescent algae floating around in the ocean    🌴 There was mention of a special turtle hatching event but I’m not sure if it           has to do with the conservation level or not

   🌴 Coming soon with a free update, ceiling fans will now not only be able to           be switched on and off, but they will also cool things down on hot days           and dry off wet sims

Create-A-Sim

I think most of what’s in CAS was covered in the trailer and during the announcement from EA Play, and we really didn’t get much of a look at it during the private stream, but from what I did see there’s a lot of amazing stuff!

The only thing I can say for sure is that as per usual, the male options are lacking and a little lackluster compared to the female options. I also don’t think there’s much in the way of clothes and hairs for kids and toddlers either 😟

Build/Buy

There is TONS of beautiful new Polynesian and Pacific Island inspired build/buy stuff, some of which I’ve already listed above, so I can’t list them all but here’s a few that don’t really fit into any other category but were specifically mentioned by the Gurus during the stream or just plain caught my eye

   🌴 A beautiful new island-themed wedding arch made with palm leaves and           tropical flowers and urgh! Just trust me, it’s beautiful!    🌴 Sandcastles!    🌴 A grill pit, that gets covered with palm leaves while it’s cooking    🌴 So many new island plants (hopefully they’re in debug 🤞)    🌴 A new island speaker (for community lots I assume) with all new Island           Living music    🌴 Glass floors! They’re not actual flooring like carpets and tiles though,           they’re more like the Get Together dance floors where you just place           them on the floor and you can see through them.    🌴 Stilted foundations! FINALLY!! They can be placed on any lot, not just           ocean lots!    🌴 There was a ladder shown in the trailers that I know many people were           very excited about, however it acts more like a diving board than an           actual ladder you can use between house floors. If you place it on the           edge of a deck, your sims will jump off the deck straight into the water.           But that doesn’t stop you from pretending it’s an actual ladder 😉    🌴 This isn’t an object but I didn’t know where else to put it - Pools can’t be           built on the ground floor of lots built on the ocean. I didn’t catch why but           I’m assuming it would interfere too much with the ocean itself. I also           assume they can be built on any floors above the ground floor though.

Animations

This is probably not that interesting to a lot of people but I’m fascinated by a lot of the animations that are created for this game and with this pack it’s really clear the team put a lot of effort into even just the smallest of animations so I wanted to point out some of my favourites that I saw in the stream

   🌴 There is a new walk style/animation for when your sims are           entering/exiting the ocean. Just like real life they will slow down and kind           of struggle to move through the shallow water until they’re deep enough           to swim or walk up onto the sand    🌴 There are different swim styles if your sim needs to get somewhere faster           (similar to jogging instead of walking) that also use less energy than the           standard speed    🌴 There is a bunch of cool new animations added for when sims are           multitasking swimming with other things, like talking, flirting, and even           kissing in the ocean!    🌴 The mermaid tail animations in general are so smooth and organic, it’s           beautiful! Whether they’re swimming in the ocean, jumping in and out of           water, or just lounging in a bath tub; the team really outdid themselves           with the animations for the tails!    🌴 Speaking of mermaids, there’s an option whilst swimming to “Mermaid           Kiss”! I don’t know if it’s available for human sims but it looks very cute           and sweet when performed by two mermaids!    🌴 Not only do the floating loungers float, but they also drift! They slowly           move around and drift back and forth with the waves just like a real           floating lounger would!
