I've noticed that aspec people who haven't figured out that they are tend to make sweeping generalizations about the way certain things work. For instance, when I thought that "obviously no one actually feels platonic attraction" or when a certain person I know said "platonic and romantic love are the same feeling, people just call them something different." Yeah, no. In both cases, that's actually just you, and it's because you're aspec.

My point is that I think this phenomenon, sort of in reverse, is the explanation for Dean's famous declaration that "nobody's a virgin." Dean is simply so allosexual and sexual in general that he cannot comprehend why anyone would stay a virgin. Really, he's specifically sexual in a very aromantic allosexual, no strings attached sort of way. It's hard to understand why anyone would only want to sleep with "the one" if to you, no one has that shiny special sheen to them and they're all just people.

Yeah, not all aroallos are hypersexual or even have or want to have sex at all, but a) Dean obviously is extremely sexual and b) so I am, so for the purposes of this blog? Wanting to fuck a lot and not understanding being selective about partners is an alloaro trait.

Dean hasn't realized that's just a him thing. He still thinks marriage is just about wanting to fuck the same pretty girl forever (see episode 2.20 for proof of that). So if everyone thinks the same way as him? Why would anyone be a virgin.

(yes, it also can be explained by him losing his virginity extremely young in circumstances that were dubiously consensual at best and he can't quite process that other people make it to adulthood without that. I do enjoy that headcanon. But. I think this is a very interesting alternate explanation with slightly more evidence. Besides, there's no reason it can't be both.)

You know, I never caught before how both Dean and Victor, right after they take charge of the police station, both take a moment to check in with Nancy to see how she (the one person with no combat experience) is handling the current situation.

In an episode that makes a direct parallel to their personal lives, and later their moral compasses as they both talk over each other to insist they're not killing Nancy, it's telling they have the same leadership style when it comes to thinking they should check in to see how the civilian is emotionally weathering the storm they've just brought to their doorstep.

As a contrast, it's also telling of the contrast and evolution of Sam this season that we only see him talk to Nancy to use her to get materials and scare the shit out of her (without so much as an on-screen apology later), and discusses with Ruby and Dean the merits of killing her without so much as turning to speak with Nancy about it.
