The main Inspiration for the design

It's one of the old design for the Suppression Specialist Meka

As for the whole "how do they transform" stuff, it's similar to how Furina does it except the colors switching to moon will have the Ousia arkhe alignment splash while switching to Sun will have Pneuma arkhe alignment splash (They still follow the whole lights off is moon and lights on is sun)

I should probably explain their current status so yall could get the general idea. They are entertainer bots in the opera epiclese and does theater performance as well as being Jesters, their rep varies from person. Some people find him entertaining and unique and would often praise them while some just finds him straight up annoying and wonder why they have a personality like that. But everyone agrees that they are the most diligent when it comes to keeping the opera clean and neat, it's technically their home and can't leave premises without the survey of someone trusted by Furina or the Cheif Justice.

I think that will be some of the details I'll send out now I need to do my other ref ajkdjakksks

nuniqs hair has gone full circle and is back to straight thin braids instead of the thick puffy ones youre all familiar with lmao . also i changed her parka to make it shorter but more decorated ! and i gave her a more coherent color palette along with some funky new tactical pants :]

additionally i went the full jump and decided she now has tattoos ALL over her body which i showed in a prev post but ill also include here for visual aid:

so yeah thats about it ! nuniq is a personal favorite among all the fandom ocs ive made so im hoping i can do some really cool content for her again . anyway thats all goodnight ^_^

And last but not least (for now anyway, and only for the ref sheets, I have more art coming still), in honor of the recent solar eclipse, we have the sun-stealing bastard man himself (or at least sun-disappearance-predictor), Sol! :D I actually started drawing this the day of the eclipse, on the bus on the way to Niagara Falls to see the eclipse (was a bit disappointing, as clouds managed to cover the sun the whole of totality so I didn't get to see it, but I did get to see the sun just before and after totality, and it was still really cool seeing the sky go so dark so quickly, and getting to see Niagara Falls and visit Canada both for the first time. :D

For his physical description, Sol is described as a tall (mentioned to be taller than Firestar specifically), lean tom with a broad head that narrows at the chin and tapers at the muzzle, large wide-spaced tufted ears, a distinctive long thick soft pelt (Hollyleaf mentions his fur to be longer than hers... probably should've made it longer here, oops), a thick-furred tail with a bushy tip, a long smooth back, and fur around his neck that stands up like a sun-shaped mane. I had a lot of fun drawing this guy's skinny butt again, and trynig to include all of the parts of his very long description. His anatomy finally looks good, unlike all his old ref sheets. I'm finally happy with him. :D Especially that sunny mane. Spiky and sun-like and making him look like a lion (along with that bushy tail-tip) without looking unrealistic.

For his pattern, Sol is described as a mottled dark brown, black, and white tom with splashes of bright ginger and pale yellow eyes. I was initially going to ignore the dark brown part of his description as per usual, just considering his stripes over his dark ginger fur the dark brown like I did before, buuuuuuuut then I reread the section in Eclipse where Hollypaw describes him, and he seems to be mostly dark brown and white with just splashes of bright "tortoiseshell" (which I take to mean bright ginger markings making it a tortie pelt), so I decided to play with a dark brown pointed tortie design for him aaaaaaaaand I kinda fell in lvoe with it oops. XD So now you get dark brown point with bright sunny ginger patches tortie Sol instead of traditional red, black, and white tortie Sol.

Overall, I'm really really happy with how this turned out.

I realised I've never posted Tav's character design sheet! This is their "default" outfit when they are recruited in BG3, and what they wear after Act 3.

Tav's outfit is inspired by loose Chinese, Korean and Japanese garment styles, paired with the tighter trousers, boots and bracers from BG3.

I finally made a ref sheet it was hell but fun too. But this River my first splatoon oc I actually put thought into. He is trans and bi also is poly and dating 2 of my other ocs my profile is them. He is my little siren boy and has a lot of trauma. He has another siren from but it only happens under certain conditions ‘,;). He has run away from his family and faked his death to do so. He has 3 other siblings but was very close with his brother. He has mixed feelings about singing. He started transitioning after he faked his death. Not at all!!! League is the opposite of a story-based game. Champions are meant to represent an archetype in the rift and shout some cool catchphrases. MOST are self contained, a few have interwoven plotlines that can span years. Some character stories get updated over time in the form of short fiction / comics / event based visual novels but most of that content can be looked up online.

“v.1″ refers to their original release bios, “v.2″ to post runeterra universe reboot bios. Worth noting that some of these changes were... contentious; blitzcrank’s new origin story as something viktor did not create but simply mod is mostly ignored by fans, who still refer to original events in a vague manner. The omission of stanwick in jayce / blitz’ updated bios is a big questionmark. To get in the spirit of the thing I just go all in the ‘Unreliable Narrator’ aspect of their whole shebang and cobble together my own interpretation of events.

[update nov.22]: Blitzcrank’s alt bio has been added! this 1.5 version contains a somewhat different account of events that I kind of prefer, compared to 2.0

CONVERGENCE: A LEAGUE OF LEGENDS STORY

'CONVERGENCE' is an Ekko-led platformer game that released in 2023. An accompanying free-to-download comic miniseries was made to supplement the game's story, and it focuses on Jayce, Viktor, Ekko himself & his family -- and how they are all interwoven as the 'struggling genius' archetype in a very flawed system.

This series features a retelling of J/V's backstories through the lens of an outsider, and a bit of an update on where they are now. Surprising absolutely no one: they are still very attached to each other. (This comic is standalone, and not part of the Arcane universe.)

[ Jayce Talis’ journal ] was available to read in the league client while the show was airing. “Far From Home” “Progress Day” “A Powerful Partnership” are all diary entries; the layout is a bit finicky but click on chapter numbers to progress, the image on the side changes to match!

Wild Rift limited content:

[ Jayce got a champion release webtoon ] that never made it to NA servers. It quickly summarizes his deal and vaguely hints Viktor is in the update horizon.

There is a tentative translation offered by blessed twitter user crossedfires, highlight being the jayce/viktor panel wherein he remarks: 

“Genius is always lonely, I know this truth very well. Until Viktor appeared – I admit it – he is the only gear comparable to me.” (uses the verb xiāngdāng (comparable) that means match, balance, correspond to). One of my mandarin-speaking friends has also pointed out the wordplay lends itself to double meaning; “He is the only gear to match/that matches mine.”

MISC / OFF CANON:

Jayce & Viktor animated stickers

Punches&Plants 2 - Altcanon comedy, various champs living in an urbanized fantasy version of runeterra. Jayce and Viktor retire from a life of rivalry to dedicate themselves to new hobbies. Viktor is a dollmaker, Jayce is a weeb. Blitzcrank has an unfortunate job.

Jayce and Viktor also have plenty of AU ingame skins with their own micro bios. Not linking these here since itd be too much info/ u can easily google; they share the Battlecast universe (ppl like this one) and the Heavy Metal universe (ppl dislike this one for various reasons, namely retconning Viktor’s full machine skin from ‘his last stage of mechanization’ into a very unfortunate stereotype.) They were meant to be an annoying player and an annoyed dungeon master in the Riftquest universe but riot scrapped Viktor’s skin. RIP
