I did decide to add more details to her design as well as change the design of her spear to make it look more interesting ✨

I'll probably redraw her splash art in the future just to add the changes to her design :')

Blossoms of Spring - Draw this Again 2024 🌸

Happy 10 years to the creation of Kimono Girl 🎉

I'm gonna keep the sappy sentimental part short bc I don't think ya'll wanna read it lmao.

Crazy 10 years has passed and a lot has changed since. I look back at the 2014 version with such fondness despite all my technical art errors hahaha

I think 2014 me would be beyond happy to see the 2024 version of her artwork 🥹

And to celebrate 10 years, I decided to make her an official OC and give her a name. She will now be called Honoka ✨✨🎉🎉

Was commissioned by my friend again to draw my own OC hahaha. Hadn't drawn this OC in like ages so I did have to frantically redesign her entirely (which was the previous post I made)

I had fun drawing her in chibi form. Redesigning her and working on this commission gave me practise working with a darker colour palette 🫡

Jade Rabbit 🐰 (Mytho-March Collab)

This was for a collab over on Instagram where myself and the other artists who participated chose a myth to depict in their own art! Hosted by the lovely ciarra_artwork

For my myth I chose the Jade Rabbit of Chinese mythology!

For this collab, I decided it would be nice to revisit an OC I made based on the Jade Rabbit and give her a fresh coat of paint 🎨🖌️

Had this done in January but had to hold off posting for 2 months LMAO

Qingyan Profile & Specialty Food 🎋

I finally got around to speedrunning drawing Qingyan's little profile card thingy and designed her specialty dish!

The dish is called Sweetflower Cake. Inspired by my all time favourite Chinese dessert Osmanthus Cake! When Qingyan makes her Specialty dish the name changes to Tranquil Afternoon in the Bamboo Forest.

Sky Outfit 👩‍💻

Happy Halloween from NZ and Happy Birthday to the resident short queen Sky! 🎃🎃

I had been meaning to do some loose outfit drawings for her so I sped through this one so I could make it in time for her bday lmao.

I wanted her outfits to side with techwear fashion. It's kinda hard incorporating colours into techwear so I need to do more research and studies. Other than that, I am happy with how I snuck in colours that references her demon form :D
