Maybe I could have loved you better if I had not been raised from the sharpest things. If my tongue had not been made of broken glass. If I had not been conceived with these thorns beneath my skin. Diary #05 - it has always been you

in the most non stereotypical way

you don't leave butterflies in my stomach

instead you're like the waves from the sea

you settle calmness and contentment in me

your presence doesn't make my heart blooms

yet it makes my heart feels like it's home

your voice doesn't make my heart race

yet it keeps my arrhythmic heart at ease
