Slightly depressing announcement

So a bunch of new games just got their release dates announced on the COG forum. Sadly, Relics 2 isn’t one of them. But, from what is up there, it looks like the absolute earliest date it’s going to release is May 2022!!!!! Not far off a year after I submitted it.

NGL, that’s pretty disheartening. But who knows, maybe I’ll have finished the sequel before it comes out, and then we can wait another five years for that one to get released.

Everyone had gone clubbing the night before, so u know the squad is pretty out there in terms of sobriety and energies

Except Dominique, who came late, and elected to be the responsible™ to get them back to the appartment

obv the morning after was the best time to bamboozle everyone <3

they take out all the mugs, glasses, and bowls to hide them

not even the emergency plastic cups hidden in the back of the pantry is spared

and by hid. i meant they fucking set everything on the lawn.

so everyone gets in, wanting to eat breakfast and b done with the morning--

and Dominique's just sitting there, shit-eating grin on their face

"Real muggy out there, isn't it?"

(Dominique chose violence that morning and they dont regret their decisions)

"Dominique I love you but if you put all the drinking utensils outside, on the lawn, UNSUPERVISED, at 7 am in the morning, I am going to bonk you on the head." -Helene

mind been thinking abt the ppl in the squad who can drive......... which is everyone.............. by technicality

Cleo and María have their license, and ride motorcycles as their main mode of transportation <3

Esme knows, has a license, but prefers to ride with Abdul and Rémy for the company :)

Abdul is an overachiever and has a license to drive and man a private boating craft

Zhu and Dominique know AND can drive. License tho? No one knows but they haven't been ticketed... yet.

Rémy knows but likes to take public transportation or walk... or carpool with someone, namely Abdul & Esme

and lastly... Helene has a license but 0 knowledge how to drive. girl help :(

rt tho i am helene and helene is me. can u believe i have a nonpro license YET 0 knowledge to drive. help.

She learns eventually tho, and is making steady use of her license in the latter college years

moving adjacently,,, driving wise they do love to go nyoom

but also like the freedom??? to just go wherever???? they love it. absolutely iconic.

am imagining some of them just going off for an impromptu picnic by a hill or smth right outside of town

yes i am soft for the squad bonding, sue me

there's lots of bread, cheeses, grapes and wine packed for them. absolute picnic feasts my beloved

and not to mention helene baking cookies for those trips and going all out :)

they go to the local superstore right after, fucking around while buying groceries

like helene hoarding stuff in the sweets aisle, while cleo pries her off the shelves

(and occasionally helene, who loves sneaking a bite out even if it makes her cry a whole lot)

abdul, rémy and domi absolutely looking for the best ingredients while esme has the list for the week's dishes

zhu on the snacks aisle himself, buying for himself and kamille and calliope's study group :)
