VENOM POLY SHIP POLL RESULTS

After a long two weeks, the poll has finally come to an end. And the final results are in.

In first place….

DAVE (Dan/Anne/Eddie/Venom)!!! They crushed the poll with 28% of the vote, double what the second place ships got. The obvious choice for a winner in this beautiful poll.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. As I said here, the first poll actually DID have a clear second place, which did not line up with what the results were from the second place rematch poll.

So according to the second place rematch poll the second place ship is…

Spideyvenompool (Peter/Eddie/Venom/Wade)!! They swept the second place rematch poll, with 64% percent of the vote. Honestly I’m surprised they beat spideyvenom on its own in the first poll, but I guess that’s just Deadpool’s power. Good for him.

And the third place ship according to the rematch poll is….

Symbiot3 (Eddie/Venom/Flash)!! They’re my personal favourite out of all of these options, and with them being a decently rare pair I’m really happy they placed!

If you want to go based off of the original poll alone, Symbiot3 came in second with 14% of the vote and Spideyvenompool came in third with 13.6%!

And the runner up is…

Spideyvenom! The good old-fashioned enemies to lovers and the epitome of rivalries being gay.

Seven Sentence Sunday

I didn't get tagged by anyone but jokes on you cause I'm doing it anyway! I actually got to write this weekend and I love this chapter.

“You sure you’re good? Maybe we should call someone for you…” There was sudden, violent retching on the other end of the call. Peter rushed in but then stopped, unsure how to help.  “No I’m fine -” more retching. Eddie's bare ass was hanging off his bed on the screen and he waved Wade away over his shoulder. YOU’RE NOT FINE, IDIOT.

They took another slow, predatory step.

“Spidey, please. Spider-Man. You gotta stop this.”

Wade’s voice was just a little more high-pitched and unwieldy than he intended, a little more pleading and desperate. But the man and/or alien wasn’t listening, so he pressed on.

Wade and Venom meet back up and exchange, er, words. Toxic Chapter 6 is up!

"We can’t just attack this place. It’s not happening.” ARE YOU SURE? THEY LOOK LIKE BAD PEOPLE. "Some of them, maybe. But we don’t know the parameters. Are there five of them or fifty? If anyone witnesses, we��ll have even more cleanup to do. And we don’t have the evidence to convict yet. THAT’S A SHAME. “You sound like Wade. He loves to dive in without a plan.” LOOK WHO’S TALKING. . . . Our heroes head out on patrol and find a familiar foe, and a familiar friend. Toxic chapter 5 is up!

The voice growled and screeched in a thousand tones like something Sheikla might have conjured. It gave Wade pause, for just a moment, to hear it speak - as if there was a tone in there he found familiar, but couldn’t place. 

He shrugged and raised the ole’ gals, flipping one idly in his hand. “Or you become monster sashimi.” Wade slid the two blades against each other with a satisfying ssshhhhink to illustrate his point. "I'm just wishing I had some vegetables and a hot grill right now to demonstrate my Hibachi skills."

Flufftober day 23

Crash

Crack! Boom! 

The flash of lightning is immediately followed by a bang, and wind drags the rain sideways against the panes of Wade’s bedroom window. 

“Yeah, yeah, big scary Spooktober storm.” Wade grumbles, then rolls over to his other side, dragging the blankets with him to thoroughly burrito up in his cozy warm bed. 

But as soon as he’s snuggled in again, there’s another sound at his window - much smaller this time, like a scratching. Wade looks up. 

Crash!

Illuminated from behind by the streaks of lightning, a black shape lurks against the pane, big glowing eyes staring at him. 

“Fuck!” Wade shouts, as his hand shoots out of the blanket and feels around for the Deagle sitting at his bedside. 

But then a black, clawed hand is on the window glass, and the face hinges open, a long pink tongue rolling out the pit-trap of a mouth. 

“Oh my sweet Thor’s luscious locks,” Wade mutters, dropping the Deagle and clutching at his heart. Then he scoots up to kneeling.

“Get in here, you big wet Rottweiler,” Wade scolds as he wrenches open the window. 

Venom crawls in, their wide shoulders squeezing through the frame, then stretches to their full height as they drip on Wade’s rug.

IT IS RAINING. 

“No shit, shiny. Where’s baby boy?” Wade stumbles out of bed and starts digging through a pile of laundry. 

SLEEPING.

“Alright, squiddy.” Wade throws a towel at Venom’s head, which they catch and then awkwardly try to use, padding their huge frame off with it like it’s a dish towel. “Well, dry off and get in bed I guess. Maybe you can catch some Z’s too.”

Wade slides back in between the covers just as another Bang illuminates the room. Venom slips in behind them, their big, smooth chest pressing against his back. Their pointy catcher’s mitt of a paw curls around his side and their tongue tickles his ear. Then they shout in it: WE ARE NOT TIRED, WADE.
