Pest Control Duty

This orb weaver apparently feeds on lacewings, millipedes, centipedes, mites and stoneflies beside others and thus makes for a good pest control technician.

The shot was taken over dark waters with the exposure biased 2-2/3 stops darker so that the spider won’t come out washed-out.

Where did your legs go little spider???

(it was in our living room and hopped onto my leg. I took pictures after getting it on my hand and then put it outside. Didn't notice until now while looking at the pictures but it was missing any legs, and I didn't notice that it was missing two of them until literally right as I loaded it on this post)

Indian sun spider (aka camel spider aka wind scorpion), Rhagodima nigrocincta, Solifugae

Despite the many common names, these arachnids are neither true spiders or scorpions, but rather belong to their own order, Solifugae, aka the solifuges.

okay found a picture that gave me so much. Miles or Ganke (most likely Ganke) has a skateboard (and aren’t the fairy lights cute? I like to think Miles did that)

and they got the googly-eye rice cooker, hot water boiler*, the spices(?)/sauces, the fully stocked mini-fridge, AND a record player (that’s for sure Aaron’s influence on Miles)

AND look at Ganke’s setup. It’s crazy. There’s no way Ganke985 isn’t real. How much did this shit cost.

Their whiteboard that I didn’t show is also very cool, the little “fighting godzilla” drawings under all those equations is perfect. There’s also some shelves for shoes, really love that Miles actually is a sneakerhead :3

Keeping The House In Order

Taken at the equivalent focal length of 840mm, the shutter speed for this was a mere 1/30 second as a result of keeping the ISO at 80. But the camera was then on a tripod so things had worked out fine here.

I get so excited everytime I see you post something new for your ex-con au. How do Deadpool and Peter’s Spidey-sona first meet? Sorry if you already went over this and I missed it.

Spidey and Deadpool have a hit meet cute! You see, Spider-Man's been getting in Deadpool's way and costing him a pretty-penny (and yelp ratings!) in jobs, and we just can't have that.

As for Weasel, he might look like a drowned rat, but the man is a shrewd businessman who excels in recognizing opportunities when they walk through the door. And despite his reputation as kind of a pushover, he can be very cold and calculating. After all, you can't survive long in the business of cutting throats without being cutthroat yourself.

He and Wade have a very friends-not-friends relationship. There's fondness between them, but there's also fear from Weasel's side in regards to Wade. However, Weasel (reluctantly) does have Wade's back if it comes to it.

As for Peter, Weasel immediately recognizes his attachment to Emma and uses it to his advantage in working Peter to the bone. Over time, he does grow to have a bit of a soft spot for the guy, but mainly keeps him around because he's useful. (And because Wade might actually kill him if he lets Peter go.)
