Inline oxygenation kit from brewroom. It works great. But that means it pushes plenty of bubbly foam into the wort. Here I put 110l of Wort into a 120l speideltank, using 0.4bar of oxygen intermittently maybe 50% of the transfer time... see the result. Bottled/ kegged 100l of neipa and since everything was a first timer I had some issues. First I pumped the beer to the higher steeltank to get some gravity. But how to connect the little speidel plastic valve to the pump? Only had a very flexible silicone tube, that got squished/ compressed by the vacuum of the pump, resulting in more foam ( and therefore air) than I wouldwant for a neipa. Then I have no idea how much beer goes into the kegs. Just filled up to maybe 5cm of airspace left. Hope that works. Will force carbonate those four 18l kegs. Also got 20 l in bottled. And did a little spontaneous 20l Braumeister batch, but all was much more work than i thought. Passivating the bt150 with peroxideacid, and casually passivating the Braumeister 20s parts in it 😂it’s like a Braumeister in a Brewtools. And I start to really like my little workhorse pump. Cleaned the new system with 3sodiumphosphate. And the new tank too. Was glad I times since I had some leakages until I found out how everything works. Had to interconnect the strong pump to get the water from the bt to the tank, dinstance seems to be to far for just the bt pump. Or I did something wrong. Did a lot of tubing today. First you see HLT ( is my Braumeister)- bt150 - speideltank. Then connection of the chiller to the ferm tank. And put up soap and disinfection dispensers ( hello mr inspector) and got a refractometer that goes up to 32 Brix. Little more needed. Had to mix and match neomatic, disc valves and open ends and different tubing diameters. Here’s a view of my fermentation room (that is also the heating room of my house) , that I tiled and covered with aluminum. 2 kg of fresh raspberries, shortly boiled with 5dl water, 500g sugar and half a teaspoon of vanilla went into the 20l of Belgian, together with 100g whisky oak chips and the cascade and chinook dryhop. And i am very exited about my Brewroom plans: we went to measure the dimensions and I drew a proper scaled plan. As you can see in the heating room that is isolated there is enough room to accommodate about 6 double wall fermentation tanks and on the other side, wich has outside temp, a small coldroom. And some stainless steel brewing tables and shelves. Gonna tile the whole thing around the brewing area so it is corresponding to hygienic demands so I can start to sell some beer. Goal is to build up a market in 2 years and then scale up to the 300l brew / brewday i need to become profitable.
