i don’t love catvi as much as i did in s1 bc caitlyn became a fascist and im not ashamed to admit that.

the same way im not ecstatic over jayvik like. yeah, ok, viktor repented sorta but the repenting in question was like. a future ominous grim reaper version of himself and LITERAL death after a love confession. sooooo.

like. i like timebomb, i like catvi, i like jayvik i don’t hate any of them. but one was a psychopath with a bomb fixation, one was a mini-dictator, and one was a cult-leader who was pro-eugenics. like. was it objectively funny who much these three changed in the timespan of two seasons and one (1) of them became somewhat of a good person?? well—yes—BUT! it was still batshit crazy. which is why i need/read canon divergence and/or modern au timebomb to heal. same with catvi and jayvik. the ship art of the canon timeline? amazing spectacular. beautiful ships, beautiful stories—i STILL need that caitlyn repentance.
