ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - ROUND 3!! On the 26th April and 3rd of May, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Palestinian escape funds.

This round's roster is very lucky to include returning artists including webcomic artist Graveweaver (I'm The Grim Reaper), @wolfythewitch, Cuptoast, Denimcatfish and more.

If you won't be able to make it to the streams but would still like to donate money, you can find a spreadsheet with hundreds of escape funds listed here. Alternatively, you could donate to one of three funds that I am focusing a lot of my efforts on.

Like, thinking about how Mhal would even work and I got this idea, dude has his own little shop for 'Boons, Blessings & Curses' and the more often the player come by the more he figures out how to appear human again

wow the $30 date tickets really did kill obey me for good huh

#i know i know 'obey me will live on'#conceptually i have so much love for the world of om #and it has a very special place in my heart for many reasons #but you have to admit that the games have been falling apart lately #at exponentially more worrying rates #i might be able to articulate this better tomorrow #but man i think the vision of what obey me could have been was always undercut by its inherent form as a mobile gacha game #i think the trappings of the medium held back what is a genuinely cool creative premise #my first thought is a fe:3h style jrpg #like dance battle combat + dating sim + choose your own adventure story with lots of replayability #but it really could be so much more #as the boundless creativity of the fandom has shown #i would love a world where solmare puts it all on the line and turns this into a proper video game #or at the very least one that is a one time payment and just has a complete story #considering the gigantic cash cow that mobile gacha games are compared to traditional video games i get why that probably wont happen #but yeah. i am hoping against hope that someone at solmare can rub some brain cells together and do right by the potential of obey me

so proud of myself for putting a big part of my last paycheck in my savings like an adult but now im gonna spend all my savings like an idiot 😵‍💫

#i mean i am paying cash for my first vehicle which is like...adulting pro level but....at what cost (the price) 😭#also its a very cheap rusty old car tbh but i need a truck for the farm basically #so even tho i could keep driving my dad's car to work since he works from home it makes sense #especially bc its three people sharing that car with me and my brother #and my little brother is a full time student w no job so im the full time employed one so i should be the one to get a car #but i was determined to not take out a loan so its not a super nice car #but i'm buying it from a friend of my mom at a steal basically #like who sells a decent working car for 1500 anymore #but thats literally my entire savings so.... 😬#no car payment tho which will be nice but aaaaaaaaa #and im worried its kind of a junky car and will need tons of repaira all the time and not be reliable #but my commute is really short and i never drive anywhere besides work which is good for an unreliable car #im not convinced its a great investment to put all my savings into an unreliable vehicle but my parents told me its a good investment so #😬👍#adulting yayyyyy #i am getting paid this friday tho so my savings wont be so alarmingly empty for long #but i have other big expenses so im stressed #however it is a nice christmassy red pickup truck which is good for a christmas tree farm #but last payday i was like why do i have so little money in my savings thats dumb and not very grown up im gonna put as much as i can spare #then a week later withdrew almost all of it for the car 🤡#possibly a stupid decision #but maybe a great one idk #and it saves my parents having to buy a trailer for my mom's car for farm stuff so they're gifting me $300 towards it #and it will be satisfying to buy it outright and have no debt on it #but oof it hurts so much to make big purchases #i've never spent this much money except on tuition #i dont know that its specially unreliable i just know its got rust and duct tape and they're selling it bc they'd rather have a car payment #bc they put more money into it than its worth #but its got new tires and brakes and passed inspection somehow with the rust sooo? maybe its not as bad as it looks 😂

#i'm on the mailing list for my uni's modern languages school because years ago I did italian there #and every time they send me an email it's like this #today's email has a total of 26 lines:#2 are saying hello dear (name)#17 are about english courses and exams #1 is saying ''besides English we also have FRENCH CHINESE ITALIAN and PORTUGUESE!'' in smaller letters at the end #3 more lines are saying you can fracture the payment and the last 3 are signing with the name and address #they offer more languages than english chinese italian french and portuguese btw. they just didn't bother including them #i went to their site to see if they do C2 Italian but I had a hard time finding the sections for things that aren't english #turns out they've stopped doing any Italian course besides A1 (the most basic) 🤦#then i looked at the government's official language school and the index on their website had 3 sections: English (and a list of many #English courses of many different levels and topics) then German (and a list of about as half) and then Special Courses #(which once again starts with English special courses and then lists French Chinese Italian)#I understand that English is mandatory for going to uni and for most jobs but 😭#💬

god I’m so torn. I have a few things I really buy rn but realistically I don’t think I can afford all of them. So I’m trying to weigh what I should let myself but bc I haven’t bought myself anything nice in a while

#I want to preorder the taz gn so that I can get the preorder keychain #and I previously preordered the exclusive special edition of the book of bill #but turns out it didn’t charge me when I ordered it like half a year ago and instead it charges me when it ships (in like two weeks)#so that’s a sudden $60 payment I need to decide if I want to do #bc I did not put the money away when I originally ordered it #because I thought it charged my card once I placed the order and that was it #so I’m trying to decide if I should cancel that #and then the Pokémon centre just released the kanto starters as Saiko soda plushes and I’m in love #I’d kill for the charmander and bulbasaur #and then I’m going to a concert next week which. while I think my leftover birthday money should pay for the hotel and stuff #I really like buying band tees so that I have something from the experience #but god knows that’ll be like $50 #so I’m trying to decide which of these to go for #they’re all kinda time sensitive #two bc they’re preorders and the plushes bc I think they’re gonna sell out #and the tshirt is obviously from a specific event so that’s gotta be then #the other thing is while I’m planning on using my birthday money #that money is from my grandparents who (while that have told me that my presents from them are money and said how much they’re giving me)#have not actually. given me the money #and I don’t wanna be pushy but it’s also been a month 😭 and I’m gonna have to reach out to them and be like ‘please e-transfer me #I have to pay off my credit card please god you promised’. like I feel like an ass but I’d also like to be able to use my present #anyway.
