It’s 4am Friday Morning, it’s still really cold outside and I feel like crap ... so this isn’t Coffee people.... its tea with a little milk . My throat is sore from involuntary vomiting and I just feel so tired ... but I’m sure this too shall pass !! Up watching @theellenshow re runs .... waiting for the @thetodayshow !!! I can’t wait until @theellenshow starts again in less than 2 weeks !!! It’s season 17 and 7 is my lucky number as my date of birth is 17/07/1979 !!! Maybe so@e beautiful things are coming !!! I want to become a sexual violence and Eating Disorders Advocate and go to schools , Universities and even television shows and tell my stories in order to help others ... spread the word . By talking our truth , pain , struggles , strategy’s ... and just what u have been through in life ... helping others has always been my passion... and if by telling my story I can do that .... that would be so beautiful, helping especially young people. Ones who are still in denial about there abuse or have a #eatingdisorder and are still in denial!!! We all know that the sooner you get help ... the sooner you get into recovery... and do not end up with severe life long conditions and permanent organ damage!!! It literally breaks my heart seeing young people go through it !!! Because I think back to my 11 year old self ... just a kid and by the time i was 13 and a half ... mid to late 1992 I was so sick and I thought YOLO !!! And by the time I was 14 I had my first admission and was just a skeleton with skin !! I found 1 photo and it made me cry ... I was on medical bed rest... but I didn’t really know the enormity of how lucky i am too still be here ... at #40yearsold !!! I’m not shy , so that’s the dream !!! I’ve always thought that my dad and I were complete opposites but in reality, we’re quite similar. We always butted heads while I was growing up. We never saw eye to eye, but he always loved me unconditionally anyways. We’re both the ‘glass is half full’ kind of people and we both are in professions where we help people. So, my dad is a retired hospital and US Air Force Chaplin and he was a minister. I grew up going to church and listening to my dad deliver sermons and speak his truth and what he believes in in an effort to help people. Well, sometimes I listened..sorry dad...haha. It really parallels with teaching yoga and this new online business that I’ve started. Speaking your truth, showing up and being authentic, leading by example and being the best version of yourself. I love to inspire and support people and both my dad and I love helping people and bringing out the best in everyone. There’s nothing better than seeing someone smile and feel better about themselves, living a stress free life and feeling ‘free’ in whatever way that means to you. I’ve always been a pretty happy go lucky girl and I love my life...it’s pretty good I have to say. I really owe that to my parents and all the people in my life who have loved, inspired and supported me and I just wanna share that with the world.
