everytime i watch shameless I get hit with a jolt of sickness and remember how frank and monica stole fionas life from her and she'll never get it back because it never existed because she was a sister first her whole life (from the age of 4) and everything else second and its always just so casual in the show and normal and rarely touched upon but it's not normal at all and it's tragic

hi. here are some things that help me when im feeling homesick or not enough like myself! maybe it'll help you too!

try making a little list of things that remind you of yourself (or home). like foods! drinks! environments! certain music! certain clothes!

then take things off that list and try making them part of your life again!!!

remember being in water a lot? go swimming, or to the ocean/lake! remember eating a certain food? go get it, or make it! remember singing/drawing/playing an instrument/literally any other hobby or activity? try it out again! remember having a specific clothing style? get those cool boots again! and that shirt! and dye your hair it's proper color! and get those piercings that you've been eyeing!

the fact that the efficient commissioner's nightmare allows anyone awake to interact with it is giving me some questions.

what if you could make them worse? what if you injected more potential disaster scenarios into her already fragile state, or revealed her fears to people happy to exploit her weakness? who's to say they haven't, as evidenced by her irem text saying that her dreams are very well-guarded.

what if you keep going into her dreams? What if you're there to comfort her, reassure her that everything will be alright, and how her efforts haven't been for nothing? How would that affect her relationship to the player, would she see them as a source of comfort or a potential ally? Or would the player remain an obstacle to the Efficient Commissioner's mission to save London from the Creditor?

After her story, what is the player to her? Still an obstacle? A nuisance, or a potential enemy? Are they an ally or a confidant she can go to? And even then, how would she know they're trustworthy?
