Sparky and Trixie are honorary members of the Racer family.

Sparky was Rex's best friend. He works for Racer Motors and somehow came to be a permanent resident at the Racer Residence. To Speed and Spritle, he's considered to be a honorary brother.

Trixie is Speed's girlfriend. They've been best friends since they were ten years old and were childhood sweethearts. Though not a resident in the Racer household, she's a frequent and welcomed visitor.

I drew Speed in an actual racing suit, then I drew an 80s adaption of him because.... I'm thinking about TRON and I'm listening to my favorite 80s songs so I'm getting the vibes.

I actually have two separate headcanons about Speed/Go and his friends having matching shirts depending on whether it’s the og japanese or the dub.

Starting with og japanese version, Go, Michi and Sabu, being best friends, decided to get matching embroidered shirts because it’d be fun. They went and picked them together and extended it to other parts of their respective wardrobes because it turns out it’s a pretty fire look.

If we’re talking about the english dub though, Speed, Trixie and Sparky decided hey wouldn’t it be funny if we got a bunch of our shirts embroidered with the wrong initial but only one of us had the right one. It’s a weird little inside joke between them that only they find funny.

Headcanon. Sparky is Aya's (Mrs. Racer) nephew. He's the son of her sister and brother-in-law. When Sparky was little his parents died and he was adopted by the Racers. His last name was Sabu, but after being adopted it became Racer.

What if Sparky was a cousin of the Racer's and was adopted by Mom and Pops?
