Beware of the El Cucuy! (The Boogeyman) the El Cucuy is a hideous creature that feasts upon the flesh and souls of children who have been disobedient or unlucky enough to cross it's path. The legend of the Cucuy originates from Mexico and shares many similarities to other boogeyman legends such as Bloody Bones (Great Britain) Sack Man (Spain) and Krampus (Central Europe) The Cucuy is said to always carry a large sack with him, which he uses to stuff the children inside and take back to his home to eat later. The Cucuy is described to be taller than an average human, mouth wide and filled with razor sharp teeth, pointed ears, long claws capable of tearing a person to shreds and glowing red eyes.
