thank u for sharing!! in this case its from a 13 volumes series from 2010 (the mangas older but thats when this specific Glénat edition is from) the site only listed the first 4 of it so i dont know if they ever had it in full and it got dwindled down to 4 volumes or if they just bought the first couples ones (as they tend to not have all series in full)

i can confirm vol1 was accounted for, vol 2 was gone, and i cant remember which one of 3&4 id see in the shelves but one of the them was there and one was misplaced (iirc, i just thought they were being borrowed so i didnt pay that much attention lol) so they had like 2 out of 4 volumes (of a 13vols series). although i didnt get confirmation they would NOT be re-buying the series but the employee i talked to was also kind of.. "its sad to see these get taken out of the stock" so..

not sure what motivates the decision if its mostly from it being a big huge library that makes it more convenient to take it off the shelves first and consider replacing the missing volumes later? or they consider its too many volumes to replace cause its technically 11 vols missing/too unpopular to replace

no one cared enough to read this manga for the library to notice theyd misplaced half of the volumes until i came in asking for them is the full story on this one. after much joking and complaining (mostly on twitter) that they were hiding the books from me.. i was the spark that made them fully take the volumes off the shelves... n i didnt think to ask if theyd give me the volumes they DIDNT misplace so idk what they did w them.. gone forever.. goodbye joe...
