There's a very Important passage coming in the next chapter of Blue Skies that I can't wait to post, mainly because I teared up a little bit while I was writing it (and so did Bucky), so I hold that one really close to my heart! I also really love the letter that Buck wrote to Bucky in "Dear John."

6. Favorite title you used I mean Down to the Bone is a fave bc it's a self joke about Down to the Bone for the old man yaoi it features (Game of Thrones Oberyn Martell x Petyr Baelish) but also if I had the energy to actually do all the work required to properly write a Word of Honor Mean Girls AU, I do think Mean Sects is a fabulous title, if I do say so myself. And I'm keeping the super long and fun playlist I made for it, even though I'm no longer writing it.

26. What’s your most common category? F/M, shockingly! But out of the 9 in the tag, 5 of them are for polyamorous contexts tbh. I tend to like tag multiple categories if there is an OT3 or poly situation going on so I guess that's how this category got so many options lol. It only has one more fic count than my genfic or f/f or m/m fic tbh.

20. Which work of yours have you reread the most?

From this year it is Figure This Out because I really like this story line. I think about the characters and what they might be up to from time to time. Out of all my fics I've probably read Through the Static the most because it's very short, and I constantly want to write something else that feels like it felt to write this. It still gives me chills every time I read it.

29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

This part of Louis and the no good, very bad day is one of my favorite silly scenes. I love chaotic animal fics so much

“Did you name him?” Niall asks. “What?” “The goose. Did you name him?” “Why would I do that? He’s not a pet.” “Because he’ll be with you for an unknown amount of time. Seems like he should have a name. Like Horace. Or Lionel. Or Bruce! Bruce the Goose.” The goose lets out a short burst of little honks in what Louis can only describe as a happy goose noise. Louis shakes his head. “No. I’m not naming my Soulmate Goose. He’ll hopefully be gone in a few days and then I can get on with my life.” Honk!

Here's the last lines I wrote edited! from my Sledgefu Dirty Dancing fic! It's part of the scene when they dance together for the first time

Shelton tilted his upper body backwards into a dip. He swayed languidly and rolled upwards with a sensuous poise that reminded Eugene of a cobra snake being charmed. When he pulled their bodies together again, they were flush from shoulder to thigh. Eugene couldn’t help himself from pushing his hips forward even further, desperate for more friction. He was beyond the point of suppressing his body’s reaction, beyond trying to conceal the overpowering want he was feeling. Their bodies slid against each other, eyes locked, faces inches apart, tremors of arousal like electricity pulsing between them. Then, far too soon, the song ended. Shelton suddenly twisted out of his arms and disappeared out of sight, leaving Eugene still standing on the floor, feeling as if he’d been struck by lightning.

He was careful to keep all four chair legs on the ground, Carwood noticed. “Army was great for that kind of thing; I so much as open my mouth round home and before you know it I’m taking one of Rita’s loafers to the head. My sister,” he explained. His hands dropped back to the table; George never could sit still. “The place is beautiful, Mrs Lipton. But what’s this about a leaky roof?”
