Trump would for sure bring security! I’m still not quite understanding the whole tarrifs and taxes, but he has promised to not tax social security for seniors (which I didn’t know was a thing??), no tax on tips for hospitality workers is GREAT. He’ll secure our border like he did in 2016, bring down inflation. I trust him.

As for the primaries and such, I dislike how the Democrats basically staged a coup to kick Joe Biden out and then as you said installed Kamala. Nowadays, politics is focused too much on identity imo. Many people are saying we need Kamala for president because “she’s a woman of colour” and “we need a woman of colour for president”. I don’t mind a madam president, but I need to see she has what it takes to run the country, and so far, I can’t say she’s presidential material to me.

I was too young to vote in 2016. Midway through my studies in Canada in 2020. This is my first time voting too!! Because I seriously think it’s the most important election in all US history (so far).
