EXCITEMENTSのリリースで知ったスペインのレーベル、Pennimanから2014年リリース。

ここ数年のブームもあり、50'sや60'sのヴィンテージなサウンドを聴かせる現行のバンドは沢山いる中でも突出した格好良さ。

ジャケット、中身共々是非ともアナログだろうという事でLPで購入。

スッカスカでザラッとした音作り、時に哀愁、そして時にエキゾチックな感じを演出するマラカスやオルガン、ソウルフルなボーカル、クールな女性ドラマー…

格好良い要素がたっぷり詰まった１枚。

タイトル曲の"Space Mambo"をはじめ、思わず体が動いてしまうグルーブ感は是非とも生で聴いてみたい。
